Clean, clean clean, it was quite, peaceful and the staff is outstanding and nice. It was a getaway for us and we say Thank you.

Always a good stay, but no breakfast as of 5/24/20! I'm a need a discount for that! main reason I come is for the breakfast.

I paid for two suites in advance. When I arrived, I was charged again for the same rooms. I had to wait for Hilton’s Corporate office to get involved the next day before the refund process started. My room was not cleaned after being out of the room for several hours. The manager thought it looked good enough and said I had been complaining since I arrived… about the money Hilton owed me. The manager did not offer to clean the room. Instead she said we would never be happy and offered to refund my money so we could leave. She took hours to process the refund (theoretically, since I still don’t have me money) and made a big show of telling me I am no longer welcome there. Another person was checking in. His card was declined several times. He was told to go up to his room and call the credit card company. That doesn’t sound like a consistent approach to customer service.
When I asked he to repeat herself for the camera, she decided to call 911. She sadly had to look up the number first. I filed a complaint with Hilton. The manager owes me and my daughters an apology. The manager needs to call the Marksville Police Department to clear my name. And, the manager needs to accept the fact that I will stay at whatever hotel I choose.

I will never stay here again. They literally refused to clean my room… waiting on refund and i'm out. If you want to be respected don't come here… michelle the manager, general manager or whatever is a joke of a manager, person… they left towels and half made bed. No sweeping, mopping, cleaning or wiping done. I left a tissue in toilet and it was still there after I left room for over 10 hours. Manager said seems like i'm a complainer and offered a refund, basically kicking us out of two (2) suites.
30 minutes still in lobby waiting on refund.

The rooms are very updated! lots of space, just like a little apt. Pool clean, super sweet staff! I will definitely come back!

Apparently you have to keep the a/c above 72 degrees or it freezes up, and starts to blow hot air. Decided not to stay the night, and they wouldn’t allow a refund because there was no manager on duty. This experience sucked!

The best hotel ever. Been in many hotels befor but this one is absolutely 100% the best of all. Extremly friendly staff. Room service is more than perfect. Nice breakfast and very kindly receptionist.

Man this place was truly great! Everyone from the Front desk to the Maintenance crew! They seem as if they actually care about your stay/needs I would highly highly recommend this place to others traveling in this area!

I stayed at the Hampton Inn while visiting family. The rooms are wonderful. Well kept, clean, and very comfortable. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the staff member who kept it in stock was very attentive and friendly. Vicky at the front desk was a joy!

Very well kept Property/Hotel. There's a pool on the Property it's not basic, it's a lot better than that. The atmosphere is very inviting & cozy. The staff is accommodating & polite. The King rm. Is comfortable, relaxing, & clean. The shower is exceptionally large which, was a big plus. There's free breakfast in the morning & it's not basic either. There was an assortment of food to choose from &, it last longer than other Hotels that I've been to. My family & I really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice place to stay. I find this place better than the Casino. Front desk is very good. Rooms are nice, nothing fancy. Fast food (Wendy's) is steps away from front door. Complimentary breakfast is pretty good.

I liked the room. Very cleaned hotel. Offers breakfast. Part of Hilton chains. Gives a military discount. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't spend much time here, as I was only visiting with family, but the staff was very polite and the hotel is modern.

Easy access to everything in town. Staff was friendly, very helpful… room was very clean didn't smell like smoke. Air worked perfectly and it was very hot outside. If you staying to go to casino across the street the shuttle bus comes whenever you call.

We stay at this location when there is no room at the Paragon resort. We absolutely love it and don't feel like we're missing out on anything to much. It is literally across the street and the casino offers free transit from hotel to casino. It take 5 min for then to arrive from the time u let the front desk know u r ready. Breakfast is good. Room are beautiful.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable, curtious experience! Loved the size of room and the stools at each end of bed! The breakfast was delicious as always! The shuttle that takes you to nearby site was awesome! Excellent "ten" star place!

Room was nice the blanket was not fresh it has a smell and as I walked out at 4 in the morning I asked for any breakfast the employee told me not tell 6 a. M. But yet she was eating a cinnamon roll and two yogurts.

Beautiful decorative interior and exterior. Very knowledgeable and helpful Associates. The only thing I would ask is that a tub be made available along with the shower. Otherwise a great place to stay and would recommend to anybody.

Work put us up in this hotel for a few nights. Right across the street from the Paragon Casino. Wendy's next door too. Can get drunk, gamble your life savings away, and eat without ever driving intoxicated. LA liquor laws are awesome, btw. Hotel was nicer than what we're used to, but my key seemed to be deactivated every day.

Was fortunate to book a room last minute on a Friday evening with a concert at the casino (across the street). Upon checkout, they messed up the bill and that's why I can only give 4 stars. That, and, the walls are very hollow. Otherwise, a nice *motel* with very front desk service.

The room was nice.
But I had a couple of problems with the workers.
One was the failure to clean the room.
The next day there was a mistake on how many days we were going to need the room.
We were checked out when I informed the cleaning lady we had one more day.
And this was based on her request.
But, the General Manager took care of the situation in such a professional manner I plan to go there again.
The complementary breakfast was nice also.
And, the exercise room and the swimming pool. Overall it was a good stay.

Omg I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton inn and suites The staff is so friendly and helping to guest. The rooms are nice and clean just how I like itsatisfied customer.

This is our spot when we come visit. Nice clean rooms everything is close by to shop love it!

I play in a wedding band. Played a wedding till 12am in the area. The bride booked 5 rooms for the band under our managers name. He doesn't travel with the band. I went to check in. She wouldn't let us check in. We were not the name on the reservation. She wanted me to call the bride. I don't know the bride personally. Then she wanted me to get the manager to call the hotel and tell her I was in the band. I'm sweaty and carrying music equipment into the hotel, that wasn't en…ough. So she forces me to try to wake up the manager at 1am. He didn't answer. A guest from the wedding walks up to us and says "yall were the best band". That still wasn't enough. She called her manager eventually and we finally got keys. Now we have 13 people in the group. Our last member finally got to the hotel and the rooms had all been checked into. He simply needed to know one of the rooms we had so we could find an open bed. This is an area with poor cell service so we couldn't all communicate. She refused to tell him what rooms we had. Eventually she called me in one of the rooms and asked for me to "diffuse the situation" This lady was the most rude desk attendant I have ever met. I would be a shamed if I was her. And I would never hire someone like that for my business.

The staff was very helpful, the bathrooms loomed to be remodeled recently, the beds were clean and comfortable. The room was spotless and smelled nice. All in all a great night!

The meeting area was excellent and the staff was very courteous.

This place is great, very polite, well-trained staff, extremely clean, peaceful and quiet. Stayed here on three separate occasions recently and same every time.

I only wish the walls of Hampton Inn & Suites were built with quiet and privacy in mind. Other than that the usual clean comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff are here.

April 2013, my family stayed the hotel due to the lost of my brother-n-law. The service wss great for our entier family. That's why our family, all 20 of us are returning for Family vacation! Good Job! Staff and House kee ping members!

We stay in many hotels travelling the country, and I have to say that the Hampton Inn Marksville is one of the best. It is obvious that the builder put in extra features for style and comfort. The atmosphere is very relaxing, stylish and friendly. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, making your stay wonderful. The rooms and suites are over the top, super comfortable beds and features like kitchenettes and a TV that swivels from bed to sleeper sofa in the living area. I highly recommend staying, its close to really great restaurants and historic sites.
