Great food. I would recommend bacon and pancakes for the breakfast line. They're nice people and helpful.

They could improve everything. It was terrible. They had to steal a cable box from one room to put in ours. Then I had to install the box. The cables were missing. The phones didnt work. The shower was dirty. I will save you the details on that one. The lock was messed up so everytime we went out they had to come let us back in.

I can't believe this… I have only stayed with choice hotels for about 5 years now. I booked a room in New Iberia, Lousiana. The hotel is pet friendly. Well they denied our reservation because my dog is over 25lbs. That sucks so I call choice hotel 800 # direct… I sit on hold for 58 mins only to have them hang up on me. So I call back and start to show some strong signs of some serious anger kicking in… The choice Holtel representative on the phone informs me that there is absolutely nothing they can do until after tomorrow… so I go back inside and request a printed copy of the cancellation because I am not paying for a room that will not allow me to stay there. And she hands me the above letter and tells me that I am responsible for the room fees because I did not cancel out the reservation in the appropriate 48 hours… what? Did you really just say that to me? So as politely as I can be in that situation I request that the manger on duty come speak to me in person or at the very least on the phone. Well she declined it. And said that I will just have to wait until tomorrow when she come in. Again really? Choice hotels refused to honor there reservation to a gold member on the verge of becoming a platinum member. Then think they can still bill me in full for it? And still retain my loyalty?

I am 63 years old and travel a lot because I own my own business. I booked this place because I was traveling with my wife and little yorkie. I requested a king sized bed in one of their suites and was given 2 queen sized beds. Oh well no problem really. When we go to any hotel we always pull back the sheets to check for anything unusual when we spotted bed bugs in the creases of the beds, both of them. We also found food crumbs in the creases too. We immediately took our luggage and went back to the front desk. We explained our situation to the clerk and asked to speak to the manager. A guy came out and asked what our problem was. His face changed from friendly to put out. I asked him if their was any other rooms and he said no, this was a room for dogs and their was no others. I then told him that I wanted to leave and wanted a refund, He said that he could not and to expect a refund in a week to 10 days. I said ok, that I needed a receipt showing that I was going to get a refund at which time the manager who I later found out to be Keith, became belligerent to my wife and I and told us to wait a minute and he stormed off. After several minutes passed waiting for a receipt I asked to speak to him again and he insisted for us to wait. When he finally returned with some paperwork, I asked for his name, found out his name was Keith and when I asked for his last name he started hollering at us to get the hell out or he was calling the police.

We stayed in room 100 for 2 days 3 nights. The room is really nice and big. Whirlpool tub worked great. The room as well as as the hotel was nice and clean. Brittany and Ashley at the front desk were both very helpful and friendly. Anita (I think that was her name) with housekeeping gave me the names of great local restaurants to try. The lady who served breakfast was also very friendly, she even let me know to wait on getting my coffee because she was about to bring out a fresh pot. I felt very at home during my stay and when I'm down this way again I will be staying here without a doubt.

Came to New Iberia to visit a sick family member and booked a room at the Quality Suites. They provide a generous free breakfast in the morning, complete with a waffle machine. The fresh waffles, along with some tasty yoghurt and a hot cup of joe is just what I needed to start the day out right. The customer service has been remarkable so far! I forget my razor and toothbrush at home (700 miles away) and with one phone call to the front desk, I had a new toothbrush, a sharp new razor, and a new can of shaving cream delivered to my door in less than 3 minutes. To say I am impressed would be an understatement. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is more than evident. Thanks for a quality stay, Quality Suites!

PSA NO ONE WASTE YOUR MONEY ON QUALITY SUITES HOTEL in New Iberia, the workers are rude! the pool chlorine level is so strong that just walking in the pool room your eyes instantly start burning and then it's started to affect our throats making us choke/cough,, your skin burns when you get out of the pool and to add to it the pool room has no air flow at all and you're not allowed to open the door to get air to come in, your not allowed extra towels are shampoo are even soap with out bringing the used ones to the front desk for exchange… The air in the room was on high and was barley cool in the room… VENT OVER… TAKE MY ADVICE — DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY…

Absolutely treacherous hotel! The pool is not maintained properly the overwhelming stench of Clorox bleach that is poured into the pool is obvious. We received our statement from my credit card company and saw that they charged us and ignored the Priceline reservation? They charged an additional $150 for smoking in the room fee. There’s only one problem I don’t smoke! Thieves! Take it for me a business owner for over 20 years and do yourself a favor, go somewhere else this hotel is ghetto.

The inside of the hotel is nice. The lobby and breakfast area look to be kept up well and the front desk personal are nice. There is an indoor pool and exercise room. Our room was a good size and the beds were pretty comfortable. There was a microwave and mini fridge in the room along with a nice sized desk and work station. Another nice thing was the love seat that was also a sleeper. Breakfast was the usual hotel hot breakfast and they have a little store on site selling drinks and snack foods. My only complaint would be that the pool needs some attention. It appeared to be clean, however some of the plaster on the bottom was coming off. We would gladly stay here again however.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! DO NOT STAY HERE! The general manager is unprofessional, one of the rudest people I have ever had to deal with. This hotel steals money from you. The food sucks. The rooms are outdated. Sheets are nasty. When you see this place keep driving.

Close to the interstate, hotel was clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good amenities for the price. Would stay again if I was passing through.

The location was right in the middle of restaurants and shopping. The beds were extra soft and comfortable plus all of the usual amenities were in the room already. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Express checkout was a breeze.

Hotel is very clean and put together. However, there is no water pressure. The water is so hot I can only imagine what the power bill at this location would be like. The main signs light is out of order so very hard to find this location at night.

Great hotel for its star rating. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, good service and location.

The renovation are tacky and there was a small roach in the bathroom this morning. The faucet kept dripping all night, which was very annoying. The breakfast was ok. Nice staff though.

I'd like to leave a good review, unfortunately I had over 250$ of my stuff stole out of my bag, while I was out working hard for the day. Filing a police report is honestly a waste of time because the accused will deny it and the evidence is gone. I can only hope management does their job. Which judging by the other comments they don't.

Excellent hotel very reasonably priced. Good breakfast choices. Easy access from the freeway. 6 miles from Avery Island if you want to visit the Tabasco Pepper Sauce Factory. Nice bathroom with good towels. Extra large room.

Helpful staff. Indoor pool and spa. Spa don't work.

All great except one night desk person. Very small pool. The one rude night clerk lied about the time the pool closed. Said 8 and we couldn't get in since it was 7:50. Other time it was filled with loud kids.

Room was clean and comfortable, however the a/c would not get very cool no matter how low we set it. Also, there seems to be an issue with air in the water lines… it could be heard when the sink was turned on, and water pressure was lacking. Staff was friendly and breakfast was tasty. Hot tub was warm and jets out of order. Pool room could use some air flow which they attempted to help by propping the emergency door open. The place could use some repairs, but this wouldn't stop me from staying again.

Nice hotel but the manger is very rude and disrespectful at the new Iberia location also the covers on the bed was messed up there was bugs in the bed and refuse to change the covers r even give me my deposit back. The nerve of them even to even call the cops because I was fusing for my money but the will not even get a star from me and I will make sure nobody I no stay at that hotel.

The General Manager Erica Senetiere is very unprofessional, rude and likes customer service. My credit card was over charge by $158.34 and this lady has the nerve to scream and yell over the phone at me. This person should not have this position, she needs a customer service class and anger management. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. I hope the VP or owner of this location is reading this post Choice Hotels needs a new GM at this location, because you will never have repeat customers with this person employed on your staff.

Plain room nothing really special but the Jacuzzi tub in the king suite was awesome. Nice for New Iberia.

The Quality Inn & Suites in New Iberia, La. Is wonderful. The property is neat and clean, all equipment works. The hotel is exactly as described on website. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. They made me feel like I was at home. The hot breakfast is always a welcomed change. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in town.

Stayed here in the Spring. First night, ionizer machine was left in my room and they had to remove it. Second night, they've stripped the floors in my hall due to their remodel, so I changed rooms. Everyone was nice, therefore I booked again for my business trips in the fall. Paid in advance through hotels dot com, arrived to check in, they were overbooked. The front desk clerk told me it was because of flood victims were booked there through FEMA. She said room 331 has a work order on it because the bed got a little damp, but we could try, she would reverse the charges for that night and move us to a new room the next day. We tried the room, the floors were flooded and there was mildew all over the walls, beds, vomit looking stuff on the fridge, food left in the fridge, we have pics. There were groups of people loudly partying in the halls and their rooms, and large groups out in the parking lot at 2:30am. I am a traveling business woman, and next week I'm travelling with just my 13 year old son. This is not a safe environment. I found a new hotel and asked front clerk for a cancellation and refund. She denied everything that was said in our previous conversation, refused refund (hotelsdotcom says hotel is refunding but it hasn't happened yet). Crossed the street to another hotel. Found out that what this hotel did is ILLEGAL! I am still working to cancel our reservation for next weeks business trip and expect a FULL REFUND or I WILL BE CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY.

Hot tub was down, phone in room didn't work, TV remote wouldn't turn the TV one had to push button, breakfast was ok, room smelled musty.

I found drugs in my room. I went to put my air condition higher and step on something. When I turned on the light I notice it was a syringe with blood r something. When I called the front desk, they came and get it and we notice that it was brown. They never once offer me a refund or another room. Never spoke to the GM until the next day. He was very rude. He yelled and screamed at me then hung up in my face. I have pictures I wish I could post. Whatever you do do not stay here. Wish I could rate this a negative 10.

I love this hotel they have the best and most compassionate and understanding Manager Erica Gaspa who has Trained a Really Nice and loyal team of Staff they are cleanest maid service/ maintenance, I've ever had. Hotel Security Perfect and Very Very Kid friendly. They Meet all demands with out hesitant. Free Breakfast AMAZING, and a Indoor Pool Cleaned and serviced every three days. Well worth it. Trained and managed by a Great Gm Manager Ms. Erica Gasps. Thanks for Everything ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Don't go! They lied to me and told me the Hot tub was working twice before I checked in and I went to check it after I ate and they clearly had a sign up saying hot tub not working. It was green and slimy with mildew and cold as ice. He said he couldn't call any one for me to speak to and that he could not give me my money back to go elsewhere. Some of the rooms are without hot water and my room the water only got slightly warm.

A decent place for the price. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the gym was not open and that the indoor pool was cold. The area it is in is decent.

The place was very clean and well kept together. My family is staying there and love it so far. If I needed a place in New Iberia I would definitely go here first!

Quality suites in New Iberia, LA. On Hwy 14. The room was very nice, accommodations were pleasant. We did have a problem checking in. We booked through hotwire a week prior and received a confirmation 3 daddy's before out stay. Clerk at front desk said we did not have a reservation at their hotel. I showed her my confirmation and itinerary numbers and emails etc. She said I was no where in her system and I would have to contact hotwire cause it looked like they didn't send over a confirmation. Well held on the phone for an hour. Hotwire assistant told me it was confirmed on the 16 th and that she would call the hotel and confirm again while I held on the phone. Ok good, right got the room. Not quite. Check out the next morning and the morning clerk charges my card for the nights stay. Which I had already paid for. Said the night clerk did not inform her. Big mess.

Horrible. Front of hotel and lobby look nice. Hotel had 1 person on duty in the whole hotel. She had been working there 4 days. First our room was 229. We went to the second floor. Makes sense right? Nope. 300 rooms are on the second floor. The second floor was also under construction. Apparently hotel has been renovating for over a year. First room we walked in and the bed linens were on the floor. The air conditioning unit was disassembled and on the floor. Switched rooms. Rooms were dirty and disgusting. I reserved the rooms with one credit card. My father insisted on paying for the rooms. He watched them run his card. The next day I discover they have debited over $400 out of my account for 2 $80 rooms. The hotel says they do this for incidentals and the rest will "fall off" my account. All in all a terrible place to stay. Avoid it like the plague because the plague is likely what you will catch.

My company scheduled this hotel. I have never stayed here before. I arrived at 10:30pm and they were in the middle of a remodel. Elevators were not working, no services the next morning in the lobby area and the room was very dirty. Went to take a shower and it would not drain. Checked out and went to the Holiday Inn Express the next day, where we normally stay and it is good as usual. If you are booked in this hotel, go somewhere else.

It is not new and does need some updating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very freindly.

Rooms stink and you can even see the mold! Got checked into room 311 and had to change rooms in the middle of the night as you couldn't sleep due to the smell of mold everywhere (even in the cushions, linen). Got offered room 211, which was even worse. Room 222 was ok to sleep in, but wouldn't be returning to the hotel as the washing machine was filthy and the whirlpool doesn't work.

I will no longer be staying here for work. LaQuinta is a better choice in my opinion.
