The rooms were spacious, it was nice having a table, and couch in the room. Maid service could have been better. The room we stayed in was pet friendly so we were able to have my dog. The gentlemen who I believe was maintenance, was very nice and informative. Even after the people in front of me were awfully rude. Id stay again!

The hotel staff are nice, but the pool is usually closed for repairs every year I come here. The two times it's been open, it's been a nice experience even though there is no life hard on Deck. It is clean and cool. So, the rooms are we clean, and I would recommend someone else staying here.

Well the place was clean, but he had no help, we waited like 40 minutes just to get checked in I never seen him once down at the pool in 2 days to look at it or anything.

Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff and breakfast is included at an affordable price. Also conveniently located near outlet shopping and outdoor recreation.

The hotel is old but well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and we had free Wi-Fi. The hall smelled a little musty but our room didn't. It's a good value, we will stay here again.

They always do a great job. Take care of me and my son perfectly every year. Been staying here for ever. I think they are the reason I come back every year. Great customer service. I do have one tiny gripe, they should hire a couple cooks to handle the breakfast.

Entire hotel has BEDBUGS. My husband stayed there a few weeks ago for a week and the last few nights had bites… Thought it was chiggers. Went back and stayed another week. Doind out after a few days it was bed bugs. They moved him rooms… only to continue being bitten. Found out co workers were moved hotels because they had infested rooms as well. Told room would be 5aped off and sprayed… never happened. His boss called hotel afterwards toncomolain and emoloyeea acted like they had no idea. Billshit liars and how disgusting for emoloyees to want to even work for a place like this… they probably dont even cleanthe rooms becauze of it, so they will continue to have bed bugs. Will be hearing from my lawyer.

Worst hotel ever. The staff was rude, the awesome breakfast was horrible. We walked across to Casey's. 40 min to check in. Hotel pool was filled with bugs and covered with algae. A million excuses from the rude gentleman about WHY the pool was awful. Air conditioning in the rooms. Non existant! Worst $120 ever spent. Stay away!

I only have it a 1 because this is the lowest Google review will allow! Mind you, I am shaking writing this. The morning of checkout, my friend pulled me into her room to show they had caught 1 of 4 scorpions in her room. The one caught was a baby and we left it under the cup and went to the front to inform Don so the staff and housekeeping wouldn't get stung. After telling Don about the situation, there was no apology, only a quickness to have us sign our final receipt. I asked him if he had grandchildren and how he would feel if his grandson almost got stung? A sincere apology was never given, then he had the nerve to shrug his shoulders in a "it is, what it is" manner! I'm livid, and I would highly recommend people stay away or check your room thoroughly.

Good price in recently upgraded hotel. Good breakfast with eggs and ham. Lots of nice small touches like hand towels to wipe down windshields etc. Close to restaurants. We walked across the street to dinner, very convenient.

Very poor. Stayed here during recent ice storm. Was charged $430 for a 30 hr. Stay. Many calls to corporate office and to manager who was rude and pretty much called me a liar and told me to "stop the passive aggressive behavior". All I wanted was 6 of the 8 charges to be removed from my banking acct. Was that really asking too much? Manager says may take my bank up to 15 days to remove from pending. If you are desperate enough to stay here, please watch your bill.

My experience was great. The lady at the front desk (amanda) was absolutely wonderful. Excellent customer service.

Room was nice, bed was a little hard for my taste. Everyone was polite and breakfast was yummy.

Friendly and clean. Everything I'm looking for in a cheap hotel. Don was very helpful and patiently answered all of our questions.

Amanda is the rudest person you can speak to at a front desk of a hotel. They say they will take your number and call you back to book a room and then never do. I tried 3 times within a week and a half and then I call and finally try to book a room and they are all full! Terrible service and then of course there's no manager there to speak to. Terrible service. I definitely don't recommend!

Parking lot is terrible. Beds tremendously in comfy. The free breakfast is laughable. And the wireless is slower than 56k. Seriously. Oh the blinds/curtain in the room let in so much light when the sun rose I was awake at 5:30 A. M. I tried to rig them but had no luck. A/C worked well, and it has a pool. The staff was friendly enough. Back to the parking lot though. I don't know if I have ever seen such a junky parking lot. All kinds of hills and extremely steep grades, tight turns, and close quarters. It's bad.

Although mostly clean, this hotel is a bit overpriced for what you get. -Extremely outdated rooms and lobby -Poor selection on breakfast options -Frugal desk attendants I'd love to say "you get what you pay for", but unfortunately that does not apply here. The Baymont down the street would've been a much better option.

Reserved our room online for 3 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. Our room was ready, and waiting when we arrived around 9PM. Check in was quick, and the desk help was most friendly, and courteous. Was asked by staff several times during our stay if everything was ok, or if there was anything we needed. Attentive without being intrusive. The room was clean, and linens etc. Were stocked as you would expect, and everything was in working order. The next morning we noticed the grounds were as well maintained as the room. The pool area was clean, and the water crystal clear. The hotel was full during our stay, but amazingly quiet. No street noise, or people hanging out in the parking lot. This hotel is in a great location, just a short distance from beaches, sightseeing, park, shopping, etc. Would definitely book again.

We stayed 2 nights this week. The rooms are clean which is a positive. I really had 3 problems with this room… 1) the bottom sheet would not stay on the bed because no elastic left. The bottom sheet needed trashed. The man that was helping the housekeeper told me that they don't give sheets away! Really? He doesn't give his rooms away either. The housekeeper replaced the bottom sheet and it didn't stay on the bed either. So, by morning you're laying on a motel mattress! Gross! 2) they have the water heater turned way down (to converse energy probably) and the shower water was warm at best. Plus. They have a water saver shower head which makes washing hair a slow task. 3) Customer service in a hotel establishment should be job one. They will tell you if there is anything you need let them know but when you do you are met with excuses and argumentative responses by the man as they try to absolve themselves of fault. They up the price during conventions which is why we were there but do not deliver for the price! Will not be back due to the indifferent and even rude attitude of the manager.

Do not stay here. The staff is extremely disrespectful. They DO NOT answer the phones and when they do they have an attitude. If you have any type of discounts or vouchers they WILL try and snake their way out of it. We had two vouchers for one night each to be used this past weekend and they told us they would only accept one and we would have to pay additional fees with the voucher. Everything in the hotel was older and the pool was "under construction. " The weekend would have been a lot better if the staff had a better attitude and had come through on their previous promises. Do yourself a favor and do not deal with these people.

8/7/15 check in was very slow and the quality of the "suite" was very poor. I did not spend the night! It took 45 min to get checked out and I was refused a refund. Manager would not speak to me on the phone but I was told I could come back the next morning if I wanted to talk with him. Manager was very rude and again refused to give me a refund.

It was fine for the price. The staff took forever to check us in but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Didn't go but when I called to make reservations I got a rude woman who said she would call me back because she is talking to a guest. Then never called me back. You are running a business, very unprofessional.

Check In clerk was polite and personable. We arrived a Little early on a Friday and were able to get into a room before 3pm. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Could use thicker pillows but otherwise had a good rest. We will stay again and recommend also. Thanks.

Rooms r ok but watch around the pool. Nees pool updated and I stepped on couple of boards thought I was gonna fall thru. Don't choose for the breakfast. Go to kays rest. Or dennys. It was 8am, no coffee, and didn. T look like they were goimg to make anymore. You get 3 pillows to a king which if put together = one. We saw only 1 trash can on the whole outside and it was in the pool area. There was dog poo outside 1 room on top floor. All but 1 ice bin wad broke and it was way n other building. King bed was uncomfortable.

Like many other guests, I had some moderately irritating experiences while staying here. "Breakfast" is kind of a joke. It'll do if you don't mind eating what they have or taking it to your room. They were out of a lot of things and seating is minimal. Booked through a third party and was charged over forty dollars extra by the hotel because we had more than two people staying in one room. They asked for the names of the other occupants, which I thought was odd since the reservation was under my name. They also miscalculated the first time they tried to charge me the extra for occupancy so I was charged two different amounts. The rooms are a good size, and they do provide a fridge, microwave, coffeepot, etc. Couldn't get a hot shower — the water was freezing from the get-go. Parking is extremely limited. There were actually no parking places available at all, so I parked my small car in the only available place — one of the long spots reserved for trailers and busses. I was told to move my car and park by the dumpster because they had "incoming reservations" only to have someone else come up immediately behind me and attempt the same thing, but they allowed that car to park there. I found this to be inconsistent and rude, considering that the next morning there were no trailers or busses in any of the spots (save for the one car that they had allowed to park there). I requested a non-smoking room, but it was evident that the room had once been smoking.

STAY AWAY from this motel. Don charged me for an error his clerk made. He will not listen to me not even consider it as his clerks mistake when it clearly is. The worst thing is the CHOICE HOTEL headquarters refuses to help. They say it it between the two of us. STAY away from all choice hotels.

One of the main reasons why I booked this hotel was because the breakfast that they had. The website made it sound like they had alot more available. I was disappointed. Also, there was gum stuck to the lamps in the room. I would have thought the pool was going to be heated, but it was freezing which was disappointing since we had our kids with us! The location is good, but I wont be going there again.
