I attended a wedding on the lobby level. The facility was clean, the staff was courteous and patient with with my squirmy and utterly energetic niece wanting to explore every inch of the lobby. The wedding party stayed in the Penthouse, which was comfortable and offered a beautiful view of the environs. The only drawback was the lack of signage concerning the entrance to the hotel from the freeway. It was a bit confusing but the size of the hotel made it easy enough to suss out where to go. Props to the hotel — had I not known about the resort and bar on the grounds, I would not have been able to tell. There was ZERO noise overflow from either in the event ballroom.

We booked a last minute trip to join my nephew's ball team in KC for a tournament. The AC in our room did not cool properly. We purchased a fan at a local dept store to keep the air moving and the temperature comfortable. Problems with the AC seemed to be a normal experience of all of the other guests that we spoke to. I was expecting a hair dryer to be provided as listed on the website. The fitness room is currently under construction, so don't plan on being able to get a work out in even though the website promises an updated fitness center with state of the art equipment. The pictures of the indoor pool on the website, do not match what you will find at this hotel. If you need ice, call the front desk to confirm which floors have working ice machines. At 10:15pm, I requested a couple of extra wash cloths as housekeeping did not replace the used ones that were picked up when the room was cleaned. It was after midnight before the wash cloths were delivered to the room. After reading the other reviews for this hotel, I feel lucky that we found our room to be clean. Definitely not the quality of hotel that we expected under the Adams Mark name.

Checking in was difficult, we had called in ahead of time to let them know we were late because of traffic. Once we arrived they said we didn't pay, even though we had printed out receipts and had our confirmation #. The guy helping us obviously was new or wasn't paying attention. We got redirected to the manager that told us, it's pending until we arrived, and helped us out. Our hotel room was very clean, no bugs or weird smells. The hotel as we explored was clean too. Great location and would stay again here. Overall very satisfied.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. It definitely doesn’t deserve even 1 star. I usually don’t leave reviews on places but I’m extremely upset with our stay. This had to have been one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed out. We took our kids there for a fun weekend of swimming, which the swimming was a blast for the kids, However in the room the carpets were filthy stained And sticky when you walked on them barefoot, there were crumbs all over the floor from previous guest, the sheets were stained as well. The bathtub wouldn’t drain during a shower, the shower in general had very little hot water and the curtain rod was barely hanging in the wall so the curtain wouldn’t stay shut and You have to sit sideways on the toilet to even get the door to shut in the bathroom, which is extremely difficult when you have to help little ones in the bathroom. To top it off the ac wasn’t working which was miserable after a long hot day outside, especially with the kids. We had a total of 2 plug ins that worked in our room and the wallpaper was also peeling Away in multiple spots. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which even your cheap hotels have. On top of all that you would wait 20 minutes on an elevator which is insane no matter how busy you are. It’s sad to see this hotel have such crappy rooms when it has so much potential to offer a family a fun relaxing weekend. Save your $260 and stay across the street then walk to the water park.

We came in really late and was suppose to get a single king but instead wound up getting a double king which my daughter was very pleased about. The rooms and bathroom were excellent. The lady behind the counter was very kind and well informed of the surrounding area. Overall our stay was excellent.

We really had a bad experience here, resulting in checking out of the hotel hours after checking in (which took 20-30 minutes). The rooms were very dirty and things did not work. There was a huge red stain on the floor upon walking in and what appeared to be blood on the lamp shade. I attempted to charge my phone in 4 different outlets, none of which worked. When I did find one that worked, the table I set my phone on was covered in dust. There were stains on the bed's dust ruffle and comforter. The bathroom was not much better. It was tiny and could not even close the door without maneuvering your body into a corner out of the way. The shower curtain had mold all over the bottom of it. We attempted the 'water park' briefly as this was a disappointment too. Attractions were closed, water was murky, could taste salt after coming out of the water, and the teenage staff had no interest in talking or responding to questions for assistance or managing the overcrowded out of control patrons. As we were walking down to the pool area a staff member saw my 4 year old son with us and simply said, 'he looks bad'. I have no idea what it was in reference to or why she even thought it was appropriate to say. Luckily we were only 200 miles from home and it was still early enough for us to leave and not drive through the night. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone that cares about cleanliness and customer service.

I am usually not one to complain but my family and I stayed at the Kansas location from May 25 — 28. My daughter was participating in a showcase softball tournament and we were very excited when we found out where we were staying. We had stayed at the St. Louis location a few times and was very satisfied. Upon arrival we were given the keys to our room which was 425 and we proceeded upstairs. Once we got in the room we noticed the air was not working properly. I called the front desk and I was told they were sending someone up right away. No one ever showed up. It was miserable through the night. The next morning it was still horrible. I went to the front desk on our way out to let them know that the temperature was set at 60 and that it was almost 75-80 in there. We were headed to the ball field for pretty much all day of games. They told me that when we got back it would be fixed. Well it wasn’t. Not even close to being remotely cool or comfortable. It wasn’t just the fact that we had to have a horrible hot room for our stay but our trash was never emptied or given towels. I had to go to the front desk to get towels so my family could bathe. The gentleman at the front desk were very polite and courteous but the two women that were there for our stay should NOT be working with the general public. My kids couldn’t even enjoy the pool because of all the partying.

It was so-so. I honestly expected more for such a high rating hotel. Everything seemed half-way cleaned. The queen double beds were not very comfortable. It felt almost like sleeping on an older cot. I was grateful to have a place to rest though. Perhaps it was like this because it was the start of the Memoral Weekend. It was VERY busy for checking in at 11PM. Kids were all over the lobby area and outside the hotel. I'm not sure if this was the reason but I will say we have to travel back this way in a few days and will not be staying at this same hotel next time.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Lots of fun things to do right in the hotel. My grandson loved the view of the Cheifs and Royals stadiums out of or window, as well as the arcade and Coco Keys.

Hotel looks very nice, they keep it well maintained. My only issue and it is a serious one when going downstairs to smoke I was approached by their security officer very rude, saying I'm not allowed to carry my firearm. After, explaining to the gentleman that yes I am allowed to by state law and by Adam marks Hotel rules and regulations I was completely within my rights. Not only did He continue to insist that I was breaking the law he started involving other guess in the hotel asking them if it was the law. I even made this security guard aware that not only did I call about nine different Sheriff stations 5 in Kansas 4 in Missouri to check on the handgun laws since me and my family was moving to the Kansas City area but I also check with the front desk manager as I was checking in and she stated that it was not a problem. I was continually harassed and threatened to the point that he said he would force me to remove it, so I called the police department to send down officers to explain to the gentleman that I was within my rights. I even showed the security officer that I also I've been employed buy security company in Kansas City that requires me to have my firearm when on duty. This was about at midnight and this whole conversation took about an hour and 30 minutes me my wife and my two kids were extremely tired we had just made it to Kansas City from a 12-hour Drive.

Rooms were clean and fairly comfortable. Not the most accommodating rooms either since common amenities such as a mini fridge or microwave were additional costs to rooms that were not cheap for their quality. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were very friendly and courteous. Always serving customers with a smile and we're very pleasant as well as helpful. A decent place to stay overall, but they try to pass off as a 4 star when the general accommodations are more like a 3 star.

AWFUL! That is the only way to describe our experience! Room was $289 with tax for One night, with 4 water park tickets! Double bed and NOTHING SPECIAL! Room was dirty, t. V. Was static, beds were very uncomfortable! We were lied to about water park hours, also about the "amenities" the hotel had. This hotel is seriously a joke! Hotel was unsafe! Stunk of various drugs, alcohols, MOLD, and other various odors! ALL 5 FAMILY MEMBERS WOKE UP SICK! What looked to be prostitutes came in and out all hours of day and night! My family and I were seriously appalled! When you pay that kind of $ for a hotel you should get that kind of treatment! Please PLEASE save your $ and stay @ the Great Wolf's Lodge!

My daughter had a birthday party here. She says it was the best slumber party ever. The staff was nice and gave us whatever we needed. The room was huge, we had 14 girls total and there was more than enough room.

Dust everywhere! Room was not clean! This along with outlets that didn't work and lights that flickered, a floor that was dirty when we got there and didn't get cleaned between night 1 and night 2, we took out our own dirty towels and laundry, we left early. It was NOT a pleasant stay. I went a few years back and our stay was great. This time the place has slipped into poor conditions. Everything in the room we touched was covered in dust! Ridiculous. We won't be back or tell others of a good/clean experience. Also no microwave or fridge was a bummer even cheap motels have them.

This was the second year that I stayed here with a group. Last year was an accident, but wasn't awful, so we decided to stay again. Bad Choice. I mean, awful choice. The outside looks nice and the rooms look even better, but that's where it ends. Our room was not vacuumed, another room didn't have towels, and other rooms were quite dirty as well. The beds have NO cushion. The walls are paper THIN! I mean, we heard EVERY grunt and groan from our neighbors throughout the entire night. Not to mention the 1.5 hours it took to check in and the hour it took to check out. If you're not looking for anything other than a noisy room and bad service, then this is the hotel for you!

They give a nice appearance in the lobby. But the rooms weren't very clean. Check the bedskirt because ours looked like they had some "fluids" on them. The staff was extremely nice though. If it wasn't for them it would probably be a 1.5. There's also no fridge or microwave.

Our family was so disappointed with our experience. I try hard to look for the positive in all things, but this was such a bad experience. The building and grounds were not well maintained. The room was so terrible. You just felt gross walking into the room. There was dust hanging from the ceiling, the beds sagged and squeaked. The air conditioner didn't work at all. When my husband called, they said they would come look at it and never showed up. Everything was over packed — the water park, the arcade. The arcade was understaffed (1 person to work the rewards counter & the game section) and many of the games were broken. We accidentally forgot personal items at the hotel and left multiple messages. Never was a call returned. On one call, spent 30 minutes on hold. HORRIBLE customer service. The advertisement state "Indoor paradise. " It is very much NOT. Do not go!

My family and I stayed with our dog at the location. We had two rooms connected and an amazing view! We stayed the entire weekend and it was fantastic! The staff were always available and helpful whenever we needed help. We had a great time and will be back soon!

My friend came into town so we got two rooms here and were very displeased. One room had no hot water. The other rooms cable went out. Water park closed at 6 when check in want even until 4. Which at 4 they weren't ready. All vending machines were wrong on what you get or sold out. Lost about 10$ in the arcade because they weren't working. Got yelled at by 2 security folks for swimming in the indoor pool because apparently they close it and we didn't see a sign and our room key worked. Overall bad experience bar and restaurant closed early to so we went to scores. That place was great. Hotel was not.

The hotel and park staff were friendly, the hotel itself stunk! No hot water, tried several times of day, so NOT due to some "high usage" excuse. No water pressure. Tub would not drain. Yes, I told first services, but it didn't b get fixed (we left for a while, so I don't know if they didn't show, or just couldn't fix it). Could not individually control the room temp, even though there was a thermostat. Most soda vending machines were out of popular types (actually, all of them I could locate). Most icemachines were broke. Sheets were all v flat, wouldn't stay tucked. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Not the most pleasant of visits. Floor in the room wasn't clean and to make matters worse other than the wee hours of the morning there literally was no hot water for the entire 2 day stay! I would recommend staying at Four Points by Sheraton and just drive across the street to the water park. It would be a much nicer experience!

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and lots of space for our family of 4. Beds were very comfortable and they supply 4 pillows per bed. Bathroom was clean and supplied with soap, conditioner, shampoo and lotion. We would stay again.

The staff was great at this hotel. I gave three stars because while it was great to face the stadium since we came to see the chiefs the room was pretty run down. Small areas of wall paper were peeling off, no fan in the bathroom. Both my stepson and husband had cold showers which much of the hotel experienced the morning of the game. I had a hot shower the night before. The pool and arcade were super fun. And the staff really made the experience and I would still come back plus they had a shuttle to the game which was super cool!

Arrived went to room. It was fine, nothing special. At midnight they started working on the sink in the room next to ours. They ran an impact driver drilling for at least an hour. Then get up in the AM to take a shower and there was no hot water. I mean, not a drop. Cold! So ticked. They said, since you booked with Expedia, there is nothing we can do for you. Unreal! Terrible hotel and service and we paid as much as a first rate hotel. Total rip off.

We paid nearly $300 to stay 1 night at this hotel and were extremely disappointed. We had no hot water in the morning to take a shower and the only comment from the front desk was that there were a lot of people taking showers and we should let the water run for 10 minutes to see if we could pull hot water up to our floor. Our stay was to include a hot breakfast in the morning. When we went to the restaurant at 9:00 a. M. The server said that it was going to take a very long time to get breakfast if we wanted to order off the menu because there is only 1 cook and he is trying to get the buffet set up. They have a sign that states breakfast is served from 6:30 — 10:00, however at 9:00 the buffet still was not set up and we were persuaded not to order off the menu because it would take too long. The waitress said that there was a Dennys across the street that might be quicker. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Stopped there on a business trip very nice first time around, when I was on my return trip. The bar was closed which I felt was unusual for a hotel of this caliber! So I went into the restaurant to get dinner and a glass of wine. Was informed I could not have wine as bar was closed! This was at 8.30 in the evening. So I ended up not eating at all! Rooms are great front desk staff very nice.

Broken glass on the back parking lot never got cleaned up. Front desk Clerks were all nice. Indoor pool cold. Hot tub gross then broken. Housekeeping gave us towels but commented that they were scarce so we were lucky. Our room was nice, clean, smelled nice. Comfy beds and arm chair. Wish the full length mirror had better lighting.

This is a great, inexpensive getaway if you have younger kids. The hotel and water park are old and a bit run down. Our room had dirty sheets on one of the bed, but the staff changed it within 10 minutes. The carpet was dirty, things were dusty, the bathroom was dark. There is a arcade, but the games are lame and several were broken. The hot tub in the pool area was out of service. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You simply need to know, you get what you pay for. This is a cheap hotel, so it's a bit rough, but we had a good time with it and got a great deal.

'Wonderful experience, great staff! Great service! The kids had a blast at the water park! The location is perfect, not far from the Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium. They have everything in one area, very convenient. I will definitely highly recommend it to anyone going to Kansas City!

A group of us were in for a girl's weekend. The front desk kept us together on one floor. They were so helpful. Rooms were very nice, not the newest but overall clean and comfy. Bar was busy with a game going at the stadium. We played a round of pool which was I haven't played in years. We had a blast! We took a short Uber ride downtown to Power and Light. What a great weekend. Thank you!

This hotel is a great example of the type of service, accommodations, and excellence that you would expect to get at any Hilton, Hyatt, or Four Seasons, for more than half the cost. The hotel is located near the heart of downtown Kansas City, and just minutes from Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium. The property is lovely, with a large indoor and outdoor pool areas, which include hot tubs. Also if the multiple pools weren't your cup of tea, then they also have an amazing water park attached to the hotel that has a game room, multiple slides, and a lazy river. Having everything in one area makes it feel much like a resort style hotel and is very convenient. What really makes it wonderful, is the service. The front desk is really accommodating any everyone has been extremely helpful​. The lady cleaning the room was very kind, giving us extra towels and coming back later to clean room because we weren't ready to leave yet. Lastly the rooms were updated, with flat screen TV's, comfortable beds, all in a spacious room with great views, especially if you have a higher floor. I would certainly pick this location again and recommend it to anyone going to Kansas City or the surrounding area!

Stayed there with our grandson for his birthday. The pros: The water park was great entertainment for all. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Cons: The elevators were very slow. Room carpet was dirty but the worst was no hot water to take a shower. For $240 per night, I would expect more.

We booked a room so our grandson could swim at the water park, but after seeing the room, we couldn't stay here. The common areas were filthy… trash, stained carpets, worn furniture … the room was just as bad… no pad on the bed, just a thin sheet, which was wrinkled. The carpet was stained and filthy. The blinds were broken… lamp shade cracked… holes in the wall… looked like food on the walls … etc, etc.

It was easy to find, right off the highway. We were there for a church event, and the room was large enough for everyone to fit comfortably. It stayed fairly cool even though it hit 90 outside. The staff provided ice water to drink and kept it stocked. It didn't taste like chlorine, either, which was nice, since we've had experiences at other hotels where it tasted like pool water. Thanks Adam's Mark, for taking such good care of LCG!

I was there for an event. Not only was the lobby nice, it was classy and up scale. I am certain that the rooms are just as nice. The event space was nice. The room was spacious too. I would recommend the room space definitely.

The people inside destroyed the machines because the staff didn't care enough to stop anyone from braking them, and the children ran up and down the hallways banging on every door as a game. Beds were sunken in the middle, kids broke the elevator, someone got their teeth knocked out in a fight, staff was shady and rude, adults drank in the common areas and people smoked weed openly outside. The only pleasant part of the whole stay was the police officer who directed us towards the outdoor pool because the staff didn't care enough to explain, they just pointed in the direction of it. The whole place looks renovated on a 1, 000 budget. Literally only thing I liked or any of my family liked was the cop. After he left, the people destroyed the game room and no one even looked up from their desk. If I could give a half star I would.

We were in Kansas City for the eclipse so the hotel was pretty crowded. We found decent parking and walked right into a clean and well lit lobby. The wait for assistance wasn't long despite having several people in front of us. The two women operating the desk were polite and pleasant. We paid for our room online so there wasn't any hassle with the check-in. The elevators and hallway of the hotel we're clean and organized. It seemed like effort had been put into the appearance which is good as I was expecting the worse. We opened our door to a nicely made up room with freshly fluffed pillows and tons of sunlight. I did a cleanliness check off the room and was pleasantly surprised to find zero issues. There was a broken blind hanging in the middle window but all in all the room was great. Considering what we paid during a very busy time I'm happy with the hotel and experience. I'd come back for a visit.

We were very unimpressed with the cleanliness and overall experience we had at the Adam Mark Hotel. The good: it is close to Kauffman Stadium, they had an outdoor pool (it was however closed for some issue), and if you have kids, it has the attached waterpark. The bad: the entire hotel was booked and they only had 2 working elevators which resulted in loooong wait times. Our bathroom reaked of mold and mildew and upon further inspection the shower had a large discoloration where water had obviously gotten behind the wall. The beds have plastic sheets on them and are extremely loud when laying on them. Our lamp shades were stained and crooked. There were no washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom. All of these things I could live with as we were only going to be there for one night but the kicker was the cockroach we found right before going to bed. We will be finding other arrangements for our future stays and I recommend you do the same.

The elevators reaked of urine. The water in the pool was very dirty and cloudy. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly but they messed up a couple things with my deposit. I would recommend it to a friend on a budget. I did get a sweet deal on the room.

My mother in law booked a weekend stay at the hotel for my two little children and my husband and I. Friday night was busy and packed, but that is normal for a Royals game night. Saturday the whole family went out to go shopping and can back tired and ready to go to bed. While I gave my kids a bath my husband found a BED BUG in the room. When we told the staff down stairs they said they would move us to a different room. If it hadn't been 10pm I would had just moved hotels. But with two little kids it's hrs to tell them it's time to move when it's already past bed time. 30 minutes later we finally got to move rooms, the staff offered no help to get us moved to a different room on a different floor. The next room we went to the ac was broken and you could tell nobody used the room much as there was dust all over. It's wasn't until 11:30pm that I could get my kids into bed. My husband had to ask 4 different time to get trash bags to put our clothes into. My children had to watch all of there blankets, toys and stuffed animals go into trash bags to be washed later, so we didn't spread the bed bug into our homes. This trip was going to be a great mid weekend trip before they go off and spend time with the grandparents, instead there grandparents have to wash laundry all day after a 4 hour drive home.

Was not impressed for the price we payed! Could be cleaner. When we got into the room I tried plugging a charger in the plug in and it kept falling out. There was a plug in thing in the outlet and it wouldn't stay plugged in either. On the other side of the room the plug ins did the same thing. We bought pop to put in the refrigerator and it wouldn't stay on because of the plug in. Told the front desk that could be a fire hazard with stuff not plugging all the way in. Just not impressed!

I enjoyed our stay at Adam's Mark hotel to attend the Royals vs. Braves game. The free shuttle to and from the game was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint and the reason. For the 4 stars is: with in my 3 elevators for 14 floors of rooms, and one out of commission, it took forever to wait for one to be free. Other than that, we will definitely be staying again when we have time to make use of the pool and indoor waterpark.

Teresa is a gem. She is always helpful and goes above and beyond what one would expect to help a person. The rooms were clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. The only downsides in my 3 stays have been pretty minor. They are: 2 bathroom lights (1 light each on two separate visits) not working A staff member not greeting me or giving me a complimentary breakfast (all others have done so) or asking if I had a reservation or was I a walk-in. 2 of the 3 times there was no printout of my bill put under my door. 1 time there were 2 sets of shampoo, conditioner and lotion (a plus) but a shampoo had been slightly used and I found a used bar of soap too. The desktop lamp was not plugged in and the only plug was behind the big desk. A plug-in next to the desk in another room I stayed in did not work. Housekeeping, during one stay, asked me twice if I was staying or checking out. I could smell marijuana from the room next door. The flip up plug-in on the desk did not work. Not so much an issue but one time there was only 1 roll of TP instead of the usual 2 The clock had the wrong time and the Alarm buzzer never went off. I sat on the end of one bed and the whole other end (box spring and mattress) lifted up.

The rates were reasonable (check Priceline for deals). The hotel itself was nothing to write home about. Cleanliness was lacking overall. The hotel pool was small and wouldn't accommodate all the people in the hotel. With that said there was a water park that is attached to the hotel, but access is not packaged with your hotel rates. We stayed 3 nights and they really only cleaned the hotel room thoroughly once. The rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. The bathrooms were small. It is directly across from arrowhead and Kaufman stadiums which is Convienient if in town for the game. The hotel itself was about 20 mins out from downtown.

I don't even know where to start. Couldn't or wouldn't even use the bathroom. The seat was up when we got here, no big deal. Later on that night I went to use it and put the seat down and there were drops of what I'm guessing was nasty pee all over the seat. No… My husband stepped on what we think was playdough. So he moved the bed and we find chewed up jelly beans, trash, candy wraps and white powdery stuff along the walls which I'm assuming was from drilling holes in the wall. Our event runs kinda late which is great. I'm a night person but we were up until nearly 3 cleaning up and trying to shower. The shower… I had the hot water running for less than a minute and our room smelled like putrid, warm urine. A port-o-potty smells better than this. It was late by the time we got showered, which we had to do in our conjoined room. Now that bathroom is nice and the shower felt amazing. We decide to get something to eat downstairs. My mom is allergic to tomatoes. Can't have them anywhere near her and she told the waiter this when she ordered. Needless to say it got sent back. I ordered a Cuban sub with provolone because I've never been a fan of Swiss the snell makes me gag. I got a sandwich with turkey that looked and smelled like it had been reheated 10 different times. The "thinly sliced pork" was thick slices from a loaf and it smelled and tasted like the turkey.

It's not too bad. A little older, but the rooms seem to have been updated recently. Very clean and not too bad of a price. The one awkward thing is that you have to walk through the ballroom/convention area to get to the pool. Not bad overall. I'd stay there again.

The staff was great but overall I would not recommend this hotel. It was very dated and dirty. The waterpark and hotel pool could definitely use a good powerwash.

Visited the venue for Ted Cruz rally. Was in small conference room. Room itself was nice but didn't have a/c on and was very uncomfortable. Though enjoyed who went to see the temp was much to be desired. Also noticed several rips in carpet and surprised having been updated in years. People in general were nice, but not all. Those who did food and beverages sat most of the time and we're not welcoming to guest. No matter what any ones political point of view you should always be welcoming when in the concierge business.

Rooms seemed very outdated. Full sheets of wallpaper were hanging off the wall. Not at all what I expected for a Adams Mark. The air didn't seem to function properly. The rooms and bathrooms are very small. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because of the water park. The water park which is connected is alright. The children loved it. Some of the staff seemed more concerned with their cell phones then with their customers.

Nice place, good customer service, well kept. We real enjoyed ourselves here. The room was well furnished and clean, with a great view. We could not hear the freeway just below and the blackout curtains were awesome. Unfortunately the refrigerator didn't keep things very cold and there was no microwave. The Wi-Fi was stellar and easy to connect. Beds were small (double), but comfortable. Staff was friendly and the place has seen some recent remodeling. Previous negative reviews seem to not fit the hotel we stayed in last night.

We organized a church field trip to thhe Cocoa Keys water park. The kids had a great time, but there srveral items that should be addressed: 1. The facility seemed very "run down". Paint peeling. Drywall cracked, restroom facilities put of order. 2. The snack bar was not organized or ran in an efficient manner. I w as item in a line of 4 people and waited just over 30 minutes before my order was taken… I should note that th his is not an isolated incident because I was warned, in advance, of the less yg as n adequate service in this area. 3. Customer service: it would benefit your business to speak to your associates about the importance of giving the impression that they are happy to be there and enjoy their job.

Horrible experience! Rooms still have not been cleaned today, it is now 7:45 pm, we informed front desk we had two little kids that were going to sleep soon, and asked again if they were going to be serviced and she told us she was in the night shift and didn't know anything about that, and we could go to our room and call and complain to room service! Then as we walked away with a look, she said I guess I can flag your room! Also the pool smelled like pee! Only decaf coffee on the rooms! Saturday night buffett on Valentine's weekend was hamburger, hot dogs, French fries, spicy corn bread muffins.

The staff was nice but the reason for my low mark is because of the building. Our room was clean but the heater was not working. I didn't complain because I had hoped it would heat up. After 1am I just snuggled in and braced the cold. I chose the hotel for the water park but it closed at 6pm which I thought we'd have til 8. Since it closed so early (and not open on weekdays) we chose dinner over the water park. So I can't attest to how it was. The bed was very uncomfortable and so hard. Nearly all the outlets were so heavily used and worn that our chargers did not stay in the outlet unless they were 3 pronged. If you are looking for a cheaper option to Great Wolf, I'd recommend spending the extra 100 dollars. While we felt safe I'd note the front door was broken and they had propped open the back door. To me this was an obvious security violation but I'm not from the area so maybe they knew it was safe. Since you don't get free access to the water park (another downfall) you could stay at a nicer hotel and then just go to the water park. I will say that the hotel's pool (open til 11pm) was very clean and warm. It wasn't a horrible stay but it wasn't what I paid for either. It was more like staying at a nice days Inn.

I would not recommend this hotel. I never write reviews but feel the need to help the next person out. It's way overpriced, upon entrance to our room, to an unlocked door, the maintenance man was on a chair fixing the air vent and we were told this room was out of order. On the 5th floor! After waiting 15 minutes for and elevator (only 2 of 3 were working) and lugging luggage for 4, we were told we had to go downstairs and re-check in (after waiting 30 mins in a loong line the first time). Finally we got a different room on the 7th floor. 2 hours in, realized the toilet wouldn't flush. Called and maintenance man came right away but after 45 mins of trying to fix it he said there was nothing he could do. We could change rooms AGAIN or deal with it. My 4 yr old was asleep and I didn't want to lug everything down and change rooms so we dealt with a toilet full of and until check out the next day. The waterpark was ran by mostly college aged kids who were clueless and the food in waterpark took 45 mins to get. Waterpark not clean either! Will not stay here ever again.

The rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Although they did not put a comforter on our bed didn't realize until. It was to late and we were freezing. Toilet ran all night long, air conditioner sounded like a 747. So the next morning I went and told them. My. Problems. She apologized (Cassandra) and gave us some free breakfast coupons. I have a large family so that was nice. We went to the buffalo Kansas city game. It was so cold so my little children and I walked back. As soon as we walked in I asked of we could hang in the lobby to warm up. She said oh honey do y'all have your swimsuits?! I said we sure do so she gave usFREE tickets to the AMAZING Coco water resort in the hotel. I was so floored and excited. We stay here every year that KC plays buffalo. Definitely staying again because of her dedication to making the situation better!

We reserved a room one week in advance to celebrate New year's at the Holidays Inn CoCo Keys Water Resort in K. C. Mo. What a disaster. Upon arrival the parking lot was completely packed cars parked legally or otherwise. We had to park in the back of the building and carry our luggage to the front entrance we couldn't off load in the front because of the parked cars. Once we got in the place it was a mad house there was a line of people as far as I could see we where immediately asked by a hotel employee if we where in line. We told her we had reservations it didn't matter she sent us to the end of the line. During the 3 hrs. We where in line we heard stories from other "guests" that the staff had given them a variety of excuses. Computers went down twice, guests over stayed, understaffed and house keeping couldn't make rooms available. Nonsense. We asked for a refund what a waist of time.

Stayed here during the KC/Seattle NFL football game. The good. The hotel has fixed some (but not all) issues that others had mentioned in the past. The rooms were very nice and clean. The check in process was not bad at all. We checked in at 4pm and walked right up. When we went up to our room, there were still maids cleaning other rooms on the floor, but ours was ready without issue. You have to remember that during an NFL game there are tons of adult fans that like to start tailgating the day before the game. If you want to avoid this, the water park is the place to go with your kids. The water park is clean and warm. Its not knock your socks off WOW, but it does the trick. It’s not any more expensive that any other water park of this level we have stayed at. You can pay much more at Wolf Lodge, but you get more there. The shuttle to the game was perfect and will recommend it. Saved $30 in parking. The shuttle back, did not use. The parking lot at Arrowhead was a complete cluster…. This was not a fault of the shuttle, but we saved time by walking. Its really not that far, just watch for adults that partied a bit to much during the game. Now the not so good. Our room’s temperature was stuck on high heat all night. There was no adjustment that would work. Luckily we brought a small fan and that helped with the temperature issue. NOTE: When checking out, I mentioned the temp issue and they knocked off $100 off the bill. That was very nice. More not so good.

I understand hotels get busy, and I understand that sometimes little things like a bubble in the wall paper can go unnoticed but this place takes it to a whole new level. This place was understaffed and obviously overwhelmed in every position from the front desk to the kitchen and I can understand that happens. Check in time is 4 (this is the latest check in I have ever seen) get there early to get a good spot in line, they have 4 stations but more than likely only 2 will be staffed. I spent 30 min in line waiting for my turn and they weren't even sure my room was clean so I had to wait for the associate to physically go up and check which left me standing there for another 10 min before I even got my room key. The room was clean except for the window sill, there was a pen cap and dirt or ashes or something all over it. At first we thought the fridge didn't work, but after further investigation we noticed it was plugged into a non working power outlet, after we swapped outlet it ran fine. The outlets in the bathroom worked and there was only 2 others in room that were functioning so if I was going to use my laptop and charge my phone I would either be without light or TV. I am pretty sure they were aware of this issue because none of the lamps were plugged in and having conversation with some of the other guests this was not uncommon, one persons room phone didn't even work.

This place was OK. The standard was met. Customer service was slightly above average. I came in around 5 am and they let me check in early. I honestly think I was lucky though because it was right before Memorial day weekend. The room service was subpar at best. I had to get breakfast called up and it took forever, and they didn't bring everything at once. I liked that it was conveniently located next to the interstate. Though I can tell that theft is a serious thing there. They have round the clock security and signs posted inside the lobby and outside about how they will not cover theft in the parking premises. They also have a caution about not inviting crime, so take out your valuables from your car. The neighborhood looks suspect though. As I walked my dog multiple cars drove by to the neighborhood across the street. Which makes the parking lot ideal for car robbery. The lighting is poor during the night. Make sure you do not leave shopping bags in the car. I'm an overall paranoid person and for some reason I got a feeling it was highly possible some of the employees could tip their friends to easy thefts. The hotel is dog friendly though. With a nice patch of grass that goes down hill. I was able to play with my dog for a little before going back out again. All in all, I will stay there again. I didn't mind it.

Family trip to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary. The hotel had a convention this weekend, which we knew nothing about. (Or we would not have booked our stay here) We traveled several hours to arrive at a hotel that had no parking for us. The majority of the other guests were dressed up in costumes and had taken over the entire hotel. The elevators were not working and there was no room to walk down the (LARGE) hallways. Some of the consumers were carrying around large guns and swords. Family center, not at all. The staff did not make us feel welcome, they were getting over run. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. What a disappointment-.

Perfect place to stay if you're going to a Royals of Chiefs game. Simply walk across the freeway via the overpass and you're right there — about a 5 minute walk at the most. Completely safe too. Or, just take the hotel shuttle. Other reviews have stated that the lines can get long to get checked in. This is true, but it's a large hotel with many patrons, so just be prepared to wait a few minutes on game days. It's really not a big deal. The elevators can be a little confusing trying to figure out which ones go to which floor, but this is also not a big deal. Waterpark — we didn't even go in because it was way too crowded. We spoke to people who were on the way out. They told us that it was also very noisy, which in addition to the overcrowding, made it much less fun. If you're not concerned about the waterpark, you could also stay next door at the Drury Inn. You can never go wrong with them.
