Review of Quality Inn & Suites Kansas City - Independence I-70 East 2*

PLEASE READ BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING STAYING AT THIS HOTEL *PLEASE REFER TO PICTURES POSTED BY ME FOR PROOF* Let me begin… First off the bathroom, toilet seat was not attached, causing a hazard for people especially the elderly or children. There were stains all over the walls in there also, the sink was missing stone panels and the vent above the shower was FILTHY I would fear for my health if I showered in there. There is also no water pressure on one of the sinks. We got a room with an external bath tub, it had a NAIL sticking out the side. My sister caught her sock on it. Can you imagine what would have happened if it was her leg? The smoke detector had a bag over it, I assume because it was a smokers room. Blood looking stains on the lamp by the bed. The pool is a total DUMP, first off it was Memorial Day weekend and the outdoor pool wasn't even open… The inside pool well, the walkway was flooded. Literally. Flooded. The pool's hot tub didn't work. The normal pool was warmer than the "hot tub". The pool area had self-contradicting signs. "Must be 14 to swim without an adult" and "Must be 12 to swim without an adult". I mean really. The front desk lady had spaghetti for diner. How do I know this and why am I putting it in my review? Because I could see it all over her face. The maids were helpful… BUT they don't speak any English. So if you need help, like we did you are out of luck for the most part. It's a huge hassle. Filthy. Broken down. Non-functional. Hotel. Please do not stay at this hotel, just don't.
