Very dated and overpriced accomodations. Great lake view.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL… he keep our deposit when we had to cancel due to a family death. He over charges and does not follow is own cancellation policy. I do not recommend this place at all>>> bad service be ware. He's only get 1 star because you have to put one.

Friendly owners, decent room, older building, ice-cold A/C, dog friendly, smelled clean, decent for a quick trip to the lake.

Rubin and Tracie are awesome. Great accommodations very clean and had a great time. Would recommend Sunflower Resort and the lake is awesome.

Wonderful stay! We had a great time at Sunflower Resort! The kitchette room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed to make our stay very nice. The covered boat slips were especially nice, and the prepping area was great for the guys to prepare the fish. The area was very quiet, and it was so nice to enjoy a bonfire any time that we wanted. The view of the lake from our room was gorgeous. The owners, Ruben and Tracie made sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay fantastic. They would tell us to let them know if we needed anything, and they were always available. They even recommended some great fishing locations on Pomme de Terre Lake. Overall, we highly recommend Sunflower Resort to everyone who wants a comfortable, relaxing, quiet resort that is very affordable. Whether or not you want to go fishing, its a great place to stay. For a quiet getaway!

Had a great time, room was clean and had everything we needed. Covered boat slip with fish cleaning station was really convenient. Ruben even told us where to fish, we caught our limit of crappie both days! We will be going back! Highly recommend!

Nothing fancy, but comfortable room, on a great lake.

My husband & I have been going to Sunflower Resort for the last 15 years, with our children. We love staying in their very clean comfortable suites. The units are spacious, well equipped & clean. We appreciate the fact that it's family owned. They are on premises to address any concerns or just make sure we are comfortable. It's has a million dollar view for very reasonable prices. We have access to their dock which is very well kept. Our family has now grown, and we continue to take our vacations at SR. Happy LS.

I've been going to Sunflower Resort for several years. I always enjoy my stay. It's not fancy, but the place is quiet, clean, and the owners are really nice. It's a perfect, affordable, low-key mini-vaca.

Great stay! We have 3 kids and the kitchenette room was perfect size for our family of 5. The kids loved the playground and we all had a good time fishing. Great customer service, affordable, and environment. We will be going back!

Sunflower resort is in a great location right on the water with a boat dock with in walking distance.

Room was clean, neat everything you would need for a weekend stay was there. View from deck was nice and peaceful. Had a great time would go back again. Owners were helpful and available if needed. Bill & Debbie U.

I grew up going to Sunflower Resort and returned to reminisce as an adult. I was happy to see the place looked like I remembered. Reuben and Traci keep it very clean and were extremely friendly. This is a very basic resort but that's what I loved about it. And for the price, what do you expect? We had friends with us so we took up three units. We were all happy and will come back again.

Rooms are basic, but clean. Property is beautiful. We always have a great time!

October, rooms very clean, beautiful view of lake, close to the water. Very peaceful, deer and geese wondering around in yard. Owner was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much and will return. Thank you.

The resort in the name is a joke! They offer a view of the lake, docks, a small playground and limited cable (on a TV almost too small to watch it). The view of the lake is beautiful but I don't feel it was worth the price and the issues we had to deal with there. I feel like I was lied to on the phone when asking questions about the room and the place in general, I really feel I was miss lead. I wasn't able to see anymore then what pictures were offered on the website due to living 3 hours away. We thought we were getting a room that had a bedroom in it and it turned out to be just one big room, we found out at check out that there was a room like that and it was open And we move 3 different times due to the strong smell of bleach and mildew in the first 2 rooms we were shown. Our room flooded by the front door when it rained (big or small). You get a 4 top stove, a toaster and coffee maker in the basic rooms and a full kitchen in the suite. Our bathroom in the basic room was a shower stall like at your local pool but in the suite you get a full bathroom with tub. I was told no pets but then told that there was one room for people with pets, I saw more then one guest with pets. No golf carts but they use one. And it would have been nice to know beforehand that there are to be no firework shot off on the property since it was 4th of July weekend. They have a lot of hidden fees too, for day guest (each), using the docks and a bunch of other stuff.
