Terrible (15-minute) experience. We checked into our room and found a tick by the window on top of the AC unit. The room was musty and damp, and smelled of old water. I would not be surprised if their were mold issues. We turned on the AC unit and it smelled like something was burning. There were crushed potato chips on the floor by one of the beds. The room felt dirty and unclean, and most of the furniture was chipped and worn. We checked out within 15 minutes of checking in and asked for a refund, which we were of course denied. I was told to call the manager Monday morning. I called the manager to request a full refund as instructed and that was denied. They charged me for one night's stay. She insinuated the things we were saying about the room weren't true, and they didn't see a tick or chips. I'm so sorry Baymont — next time I won't kill the tick and will let it roam free. So much for the "customer's always right! " I would strongly advise against staying here. Plus the area's not great.

I normally don't write reviews, but my experience was pretty terrible. I was getting married the following day after checking in, and my sister and friend were staying in the room that my now husband and I would be staying in the following night. We set up a block of rooms with the hotel and pretty much sold the place out for our wedding. They took both our names and my husband's credit card. Upon checking in, they refused to let me check in unless I paid with my credit card and provided ID. They would not let me check in to my own room without my fiance being there unless he scanned his ID and card info (which they already had) in to them. Several guests from my wedding said they had the same problem. Absolutely unacceptable to treat the people who brought you business for the weekend this way. Mind you, the woman was about to let me sign for my fiance and check in until the owner stepped in and humiliated me in front of everyone in the lobby. What a great way to start my wedding weekend! The next morning we had breakfast and as we were eating, they came in and kicked us out of the cafe to clean. So myself and several guests from my wedding had to stand in the lobby with our food. I don't know where this guy learned about hospitality, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel.

Room was pretty standard. Mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Everything was clean and in order.

This place gets two Star only because the service from the people that work there was really helpful. Our room had Furniture in it that should have been thrown out including a desk chair which was just awful. To make matters worse we found a sock yes a sock next to our bed. To me that's gets as disgusting as it can get. The icing on the cake is I paid $113 with tax to stay here what a joke never again. The one thing that really bothers me is when you Google hotel motels near WhiteWater Wisconsin this quint little University Town really has none to speak of and the two or three that are there are rated really poorly, what a shame!

Overpriced and outdated! Dirty and smells like the 1970s. There are no other decent hotels in town and this place knows it. If you can, stay in another town… this place stinks.

Terrible hotel, dirty and the owner is very rude. Way over priced! My wife, Daughter and myself all had bites, dead cockroaches on the air conditioning, no room cleaning the 3 days we we were there. Do not stay!

We are hotel owners and travelers and I was reluctant to write this review however concerns were not addressed seriously. I am also a Wyndham Platinum member and have never stayed in a Wyndham like this. Myself and my staff booked 2 rooms as we were presenting for a conference. I initiated the request for my staff to check in ahead of me and mgmt stated to fax in the credit card and identification ahead in which I did. I also stated we were a nonprofit and she stated that what I faxed was sufficient. My staff was able to check in however when I arrived they stated I needed a copy of the letter of nonprofit in which that could have been faxed prior, I did have the number with me and they reluctantly accepted it. We entered the 2 double bed room to find a teddy graham on the floor and when we opened the one bed and hair was throughout the sheets, we called to tell Reception and asked if the sheets were changed and she said she could do this at once, this was at 9:30pm, we checked the other bed and that was clean so we slept there. Throughout the night the heater kept coming on with a series of clicks like a car starting, my staff in her room also noted the same. When we told the front desk in the morning she stated only that she would let someone know. The towels were very old and thin. This hotel was not what we expected for a conference, a Wyndham property and paying well over $100 per night for this event.

1. The pillows are rough and make your face hurt 2. At our stay cops had to come for a guy trying to drowned himself in the hot tub 3. The guys at the front desk vaped 4. Only saw one employee until the morning 5. A stranger came and talked to me and my friends trying to take us to her house and sell us drugs 6. There are sharp things hanging from the pool room ceilings 7. Small bathrooms 8. The sauna is not in use 9. Light sources are not stable 10. Exercise room is tiny and only 4 work out machines.

Good service, decent room, served me much better than the motel 8 down tho road.

The rooms where nice, and clean. The pool was fun to swim in, and the place was nice and quiet.

This it has a really fun indoor pool that you can enjoy with your family.

Tired needs remodeling, much of the exercise equipment is broken or not functioning properly, very limited breakfast. Spotty room cleaning.

Nice place. Staff was a little confused with my direct bill. But they were very friendly. Could use some updating.

It was clean and satisfactory. Nothing outstanding. Bed was comfortable but the sheets were definitely old. Employees were friendly.

Decent, comfortable place. Heat/ac not running 100% but worth the price for a place to sleep.

Rooms are overpriced. Very few people stay at the hotel. The employees are lazy and don't try to facilitate the best stay possible. Edit: they refuse to conduct any sort of hospitality or even basic hotel obligations. E. G. They refused to fix the toilet because they didn't want to go up there. They offered a plunger, but only if we went down to pick it up. Do not spend your money here. Drive to Fort Atkinson to get a proper hotel.

Stayed on a Saturday night, 147.00 for two double beds. Place was dated. Towels… I think for 147.00 they could run across the street to Walmart and get some new towels, theirs were thin and hard. Same for pillows and sheets were dated and thin.

I went with family to attend a social event nearby. It was very quiet and clean. The breakfast the was free to guests in the morning was okay, but nothing special. It was free though, so it was pretty decent.

Hotel was fine. Nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. Would stay again.

Always take the family swimming here and relaxing in the hot tub is nice. Friendly staff.

I booked a room through Expedia. The hotel description says, and I quote "Children Welcome Free cribs! ". When I get to the hotel with my wife and infant, I'm informed there's only 1 crib for the entire hotel. I was told I'd have to wait for "The One! " crib to free up before I could use it. After I continually explained that their website is rather misleading, borderline false advertising… The front desk finally produced a crib. When I placed my kid in the crib, it immediately buckles and tilts. One of the wheels were duct taped together! I called corporate and Expedia and explained how this was unacceptable. I explained how I don't personally believe in co-sleeping with my infant. I was only told no refunds and pretty much ignored. Plus the room had a bad stench, the front desk was rude, and the shower made a weird annoying noise. Spend a little bit extra money and go elsewhere.

My stay at the Baymknt in was nice and the rooms were spacious. The room was not very clean and the towels were very small. THERE was also a bunch of kids around who were loud and running down the hallways throughout the day/night. My stay was good and the Jacuzzi tub was awesome.

The beds are comfortable and the hotel is clean. Our rate was $119 for 2 doubles which is high for the experience, but we got one of the last 2 rooms. I am not very picky, so can live with duct tape as a fix for the peeling wallpaper seams. But the windows on the first floor rooms need to actually lock. Our window didn't lock — sliding window at ground level. The hotel said that the wooden dowel in the window track was sufficient, but it isn't.

Beautiful hotel with clean pool. Housekeepers are always polite and respectful.

It's getting better, they remodeled recently and upgraded their Wi-Fi for guests.

Pool is very nice. Continental breakfast had the usual foods and was good. There could have been more seating but it wasn't too bad. Person working at front desk did not come out of back room when needed.

My room was fine but my buddy across the hall, his heater made an awful burning smell and their fridge didn't work. Good help at front desk though.

Went for swimming and hot tubing. So slippery on the hot tub stairs I fell got my let caught in the hand railing and couldn't get out. That leg had a total replacement in it and I think its broken. i told the counter girl and she said she had told the manager lots of times of people being hurt but nothing was done. It makes me furious that I am sitting here ready to go to the hospital because of there carelessness. I would NEVER EVER stay there.

My experiences here was fantastic staff was super nice room was well kept and clean. Only down side was a noisey upstires guest.

Ok for the area. Rooms are clean but sparse. Stains on the towels etc. Breakfast was meak and mostly pastries.

Let's preface my review with this: beggars can't be choosers. It's Whitewater — the hotel options are limited! Ambiance: I'll be honest, the hotel could use a major upgrade. Quite outdated, carpet in desperate need of being replaced, tattered linens/towels/curtains, etc. Also…there's no elevator! Now, I'm usually one to take the stairs if I have the choice…unless I have suitcase equivalent to 1/2 my body weight. Getting up the stairs was a little rough, to say the least. Parking: Lots of parking — I got a spot right in front. Staff: The young lady who checked me in was great. Very nice, professional, etc. Room: Super outdated…everything from the carpet, furniture, towels, curtains, etc. I felt like I didn't want to touch anything in the room. There were also a few hairs in my bed when I pulled back the sheets, which, well…yuck. Location: Great — easy to find, but again, it's Whitewater so…nothing's that hard to find. (; Internet: worked just fine.

I enjoyed my experience with Baymont Inn. The student at the front desk was very helpful and friendly to chat with. We had internet issues (more of my computer) and she explained the best Wi-Fi to be on and where they were located in the building. First, when I called I was able to bargain the price down $10.00. (Sweet) They changed us from a king to twins without issue. The rooms are small (compact bathroom — — — The bathroom door misses the toilet by 1" when it opens. ) — — — The walls ARE thin, so a rowdy crowd can be annoying… but luckly, we had a nice quiet night. I think it worked very well for 2 people coming up to hangglide in the town. I was pretty happy… it wasn't a 5*, but 5* is not the the Baymont chains target. It's a good place to stay to get sleep, go swimming, and have a good variety of foods @ a FREE breakfast. Thumbs up to the continental breakfast; most hotels are total crap, but they had waffles and a whole wall filled with fruits and other breakfast selections. (coffee was horribly thin though… so we stopped @ the greenhouse cafe a few blocks away. ) — — — delicious either way… IT WAS A GOOD FREE BREAKFAST! — — also had milk, water, juices, etc. And plenty of other things to drink. Rooms were as expected. The beds were comfortable and we hit snooze a few times. It was a good place. No complaints. I'm surprised it has such low rankings on the site.

We didn't plan on staying in Whitewater at all, but in the end, we did. The Baymont was our choice besides american suites down the road. It was a $10.00 difference, you received a breakfast and pool. Our night started out with being put into a room that someone smoked in. That wouldn't work, my husband and myself are ex-smokers, and we had our 2 and 3 year old with us. Immediately the sent us into a second room, in the beginning no problems. We took the kids to the pool that had mold on the floor and walls, we looked past that. Around 1230am, after sleeping for around 1 hour, my husband was woken by a burning smell. He sniffed around and the smell was coming from the wall behind the beds. I tried to call down and let the phone ring for 5 minutes before I hung up and walked down stairs. He started to walk up stairs and immediately smelled the smell before he even reached the floor. He looked into the empty room next to us, and there was no smell. He came into our room, and smelled it. He blamed it on the A/C unit. He moved us into the room next door and advised us not to use the A/C unit. We opened the window, there was no safety feature in case my kids woke up and wanted to look out the window. The outside light shown right into the window onto the beds. We asked to be moved again after we moved the sleeping kids. They refused, we decided to leave. When asked to be refunded because we weren't going to stay there, they refused. They neglected to accept their issues.
