Great staff! Healthy, fresh breakfast options and no scrimping on cleaning. Very nice!

I went here for a professional training. Food was adequate. Gluten-free tortillas immediately ripped open and spilled the taco contents but I think that's pretty normal for gluten-free. Meeting room was comfortable and looked nice, not shabby.

Wonderful hotel, look forward to our next stay.
The Front desk Staff very friendly, and rest of Staff… can't say enough, they go over and beyond to help you.

Wish they'd actually restock the soaps and shampoo/conditioner in the rooms. And take/replace used glasses… Otherwise it's a nice hotel with friendly staff. Also it would have been nice if the breakfast opened at 6AM on weekends as well as weekdays.

Mike welcomed me like a professional, provided a late checkout to help accommodate my meeting, and provided a great guide for area restaurants. Room was clean and bed fairly comfortable. Breakfast was decent and free. The clerk the second day seemed a bit lost, but otherwise it was a very good visit.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. It was clean and had a great breakfast in the morning. The only complaint is that the hot tub was out of order.

I called last minute because Cedar Creek had messed up our reservation and our anniversary. We were already stressed as it was our first night away from our baby since he was born over a year ago. But Phil was incredibly kind and put us in this great room with a discount and all. He was apologetic for what happened to us despite it not being related to himself or Fairfield at all. The room is excellent, clean, and the staff outstanding. The pool and spa are great. We will be coming back.

Clean, quiet. Rooms seem pretty up to date. Nicely located for access to Granite Peak — about 10 min away.

Rooms were clean. The coffee maker was not cleaned. Pool was clean, nice, and the seating was plentiful. The front desk was helpful in their recommendations for local food establishments.

Wonderful hot breakfast with alternative options for GF and vegetarian diets. Very friendly staff. Professionally and quickly solved an issue with too much chlorine in the their pool. Easy on/off highway access. Will visit again if in the area.

All around great place. Good, thorough service switching out towels and sheets, reliable guest Wi-Fi, clean rooms. Free breakfast also had a good amount of variety. Convenient if you're hoping to ski and Granite Peak nearby.

Stayed 3 nights at this location, the check-in was smooth and Amanda was timely during the process. When I arrived and was identified by status and allowed my free beverage from the market or points. I also received the upgraded King suite room. The breakfast bar is very robust and I the Internet was sufficient and free. The rooms are a little outdated with hard beds, worn out pillows, and the couch and work desk chairs are a little unconformable after sitting on them awhile. I still slept well considering, as the hotel is quiet. I also enjoyed the walk in shower and large bathroom vanity. Additionally, the elliptical machine was not operational and there are no free weights in the exercise function room. The location is in Weston and is at least a 10-minute drive to food establishments. Except for the Brews Brothers restaurant across the highway, which by the way I would definitely recommend and eat there again. Other than the issues I mentioned, the stay was great with great staff and not a one wake up call missed! Good Job. Video on the YouTube channel. Thanks for reading.

I have been staying at this hotel two or three nights a week for the last few months. The staff here is amazing! They truly made me feel like a queen every single time I visited. If you're ever in the area you seriously need to check this place out… Thank you so much for making Wausau my home away from home.

This seems like a very nice hotel but our experience was less than stellar. We were on the third floor of the hotel. We realized our phone did not work to call the front desk so I went downstairs to request a pack and play. When I finally got the pack and play we realized there was no sheet and the side rails would not lock into place. We could not call back down because iur room phone was broken. The coffee pot had also been used and was not cleaned. The beds are comfortable however. Breakfast was also pretty stellar. Overall an average hotel experience.

Always a solid experience. Staff is nice, decent breakfast and don't forget to watch for cookies at the front desk. The elevator is real slow though.

Nice location on the way out of Green Bay. Room was clean, nice and modern. Staff was very helpful directing me to the guest laundry. Has an indoor pool which I guess is common this far north. Free Wi-Fi was fast and, well, free.

Really clean and great service. The only reason I give 4 starts is because the breakfast is lame. I have stayed at many different Marriott hotels and the breakfast is always different and with a better variety if fresh fruit.

One of the nicer Fairfield's I've stayed at. Quiet location, large breakfast area, good assortment of breakfast items, pleasant staff.

Smallest room I've ever seen with a king size bed. Shower was super nice, so that made you for it.

Good central location to Weston and access to highways. Good breakfast offerings, nice clean rooms, good Internet service.

Everything was so nice! Beds were very comfortable, breakfast had an enormous selection and the staff was very helpful.

Worse place for a wedding. Ugly hall. No parking. Bad service can't keep up with beer… really bad communication. Sleeping in our room wake up to the smell of something burning so I call downstairs… get this lol. She comes up and says she smells it too but I should go back to bed at 2 am because I am on the second floor and the sprinklers will take care of it… REALLY.

Worst stay at any hotel. First they rented my suite with jacuzzi bath that I had reserved to someone else. All rooms left just had showers, I have chronic pain and can't stand that long so I resorted to hot tub but lots of naughty kids were in there, throwing balls splashing everyone in the hot tub. So I polightly asked the parents that were there to please asked them to be polite and not throw balls into the hot tub. They didn't stop so I asked front desk, and they said they would say something if I wanted them to, I said YES. Needless to say that didn't help… so disappointed the employees didn't do more.

The room was very hot but I adjusted the temperature to my liking, I loved the waffles as well with whipped cream.

Clean facility with a nice location nearby local ski Hills. Bathroom was very nice as is the pool/hot tub and free breakfast! No complaints. Everyone who works here was very friendly.

Very nice visit. Hotel was in a good location. Has a large lobby with many tables to accommodate visiting with many relatives. Rooms plenty big and comfortable.

Very friendly staff, comfy pillows and mattresses. Our view faced the roof of the building, which wasn't great, but other than that it was a good experience!

I recently (6/13/2015) had my wedding reception at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Wausau. I could not be more happy to have chosen this as my venue. First of all, Becky, the events coordinator, was AWESOME! Throughout the whole wedding planning process Becky was ready and willing to answer questions. She was always upbeat and open to any ideas we had. The week of the wedding she made sure we had ample time to get into the ballroom to do some decorating, which is minimal …because the staff takes care of transforming the room into an elegant wedding feel. The day of the wedding she was right there, making sure that the reception flows as planned. I also want to give a big shout out to all the staff that works here. Everyone from the front desk, to facilities, to breakfast staff, to the housekeepers are so very genuinely polite. If we needed anything, they were so kind and helpful. It was a joy to have our wedding and stay at this hotel. All the guests were so appreciate of the kind service they recieved.
