Great location, pretty views right along the river, great restaurants and bars near by — walking distance.

We reserved a corner king “suite” water view room. We checked in very late, and upon entering our room it was a small triangle, nothing to label as a suite outside of the water view. When we reserved the room, we specifically asked if there was going to be a couch or loveseat that would pull out as a bed for our oldest, we were told yes. Since it was late, and having two little ones we all slept in the king bed because there was no couch or love seat. Our second evening, we called and asked for a roll away bed. As a guest you’d think it’s safe to assume that if that would be an additional charge, the front desk would let the customer be aware. Not the case. After checking out this morning, the amount of additional charges from taxes and my fiancé being accused of essentially lying when we told them that we were told there’d be a couch/love seat pullout bed, but since a “supervisor” had made the reservation, she just couldn’t believe she’d make that kind of mistake. She was extremely unprofessional, making deep sighs, and acting as though taking off the roll away bed charge was such an inconvenience to her day. Recommend getting a standard room. My parents had two queen beds, a nice large chair, and space to spare.

Great place to stay clean and quiet.

Bartenders was terrible! One poor girl was trying but had no clue what she was doing the other one was rude and was more concerned with doing dishes then getting drinks out! Paid extra money to stay here so we would have a bar and are very disappointed with the service!

Horrible place! Got woken up at 12:05 am being asked to change rooms because they gave up the wrong room. Some employees are very rude.

This hotel is very clean and quiet. We have a room with a view of the river. It's just beautiful.

They would not refund $1500 for a reception booking that was booked and then cancelled a year in advance. Even with the COVID epidemic they chose to STEAL our money with no services in return. Do not book with this best western!

The Best Western Premiere Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center was one of the most conveniently located hotel we've stayed in a very long time. We were a short 20 min drive to the Appleton airport. When we arrived for check in we were greeted with a warm smile in a cozy atmosphere, they were prepared for our arrival and within 2 mins we had our room keys in hand, a detailed information of where we needed to go. The room was perfect for our family of four to lay our weary heads. The amenities included all soaps, conditioners, refrigerator, coffee pots and coffee. Nice quiet stay and we'll definitely be back. Rooms are great! Staff is friendly.

We had a very unpleasant experience with the Best Western. Since we did not have our wedding at the Best Western they were not able to set aside a block of rooms for us, which was fine. They instead offered a discounted rate for our guests for the Friday before our wedding and the Saturday of. The process of getting the rate established was quite easy, but that’s where the easy part ended. It took 5 different calls to the hotel for my husband to get a room booked under our rate. He would talk to the front desk who would tell him he had to talk to the woman we set the rate up with, and the woman we set the rate up with would tell us we had to talk to the front desk. It was a HUGE NIGHTMARE! Some of my guests also experienced the same problem. The whole experience with trying to get a room booked under our special rate was extremely unorganized and frustrating. When my husband was finally able to book our room (which was at least 5 months in advance), he specifically requested a room on the 8th floor, which was the top floor. However, when we went to check into our room after our wedding, we were immediately informed that they had given our room away, and they couldn’t provide a reason as to why our room was given to someone else. Needless to say, the whole experience from start to finish was HIGHLY frustrating. I do not at all recommend using this hotel!

Friendly staff and good downtown location.

Loved the setting for our wedding ceremony and reception. All staff was friendly and made sure our day was perfect. Loved that they allowed our dog to stay in the building! Food was good and service great. Thank you to Miranda and BWP staff for making it a very special day.

Absolutely amazing! We had our wedding ceremony outside and the reception in the ball room. Everything was perfect! Food was delicious and the staff was so accommodating, super friendly and Miranda (event manager) was so easy to work with. She did everything possible to make our day perfect and that it was! Thank you so much for making this such a memorable day!

I spent a couple nights at the Best Western Premier in Oshkosh and found my stay to be everything I had hoped for. The hotel is located conveniently by the convention center. Check-in was a breeze, the staff was friendly and accommodating. When I entered my room I found it perfectly clean with a large TV, fridge, and microwave. When I opened my curtains I had an excellent view of the lake across the way. The hotel offers many amenities on site including guest laundry, pantry, fitness room as well as a pool that is open late and offers adults-only swim hours. Perfect for a late night swim! I'll definitely stay here again during one of my trips through Wisconsin!

Room was clean and modern in design. Shower pressure was poor but the overall bathroom was really nice. The pool is advertised as "heated" but the water was really cold. There was no complimentary breakfast but there was coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. Overall, a nice hotel (and pet friendly! )

What a wonderful experience we had with the Best Western Premier in Oshkosh for our daughter's wedding. Miranda was so accommodating and clearly explained everything in preparation for the wedding. The staff was so easy to work with the day of the wedding; I never had to ask twice or follow up on anything I requested, it just got done. Having the hotel connected to the venue was nice, no need to drive home after the fun night. I recommend one to check out the Best Western for their wedding needs, you won't be disappointed!

Stayed for 1 night in August 2018 while passing through town. Located right on the river and walking distance to a bunch of cool shops. Easy parking situation, too. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Self-serve laundry on each floor if you're like me and packed like an idiot. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're gonna spend some time in Oshkosh!

Premier Waterfront Catering made and served dinner at our wedding reception, and we were absolutely impressed with their overall excellent service! The planning process couldn't have been more organized and simple; Miranda did such a wonderful job and it was a pleasure working with her! Every dish was well prepared and delicious, and their staff were very courteous, friendly, and professional.

The largest and most beautiful setting for a hotel in the area. Best location! Very clean and quiet luckily we were not there when the EAA air show (last 2 weeks of July every yr) is going on but there was a conference but we never could tell. 99% of the staff we met was very very nice. We would stay there again or recommend it!

The Best Western Premier in Oshkosh, Wi made my stay in the area a joy. It is conveniently located in downtown Oshkosh, an easy walk to anywhere on the Main Street strip. I appreciated being right near the river where I could take a peaceful morning walk too. The staff made check in very easy, I was in my room before I knew it. Accommodations were quiet and very clean. Parking was a breeze (they have a structure). Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Location is always a plus on the fox river! There isnt to much I can say due to the fact that I arrived in the parking garage and went to one of the dining halls was near the parking garage. I only was able to see a small fraction of the business. As far as I could see, the dining area and restrooms were clean and modern. I only issue I could mention is a small one but an issue just the same. While at the event, during dinner, the waitstaff brought out milk and tea to drink during dinner. My wife, and a few people that I know of, requested different beverages because my wife, she was lactose intolerant and tea made her sick. We were informed that those were are only choices other than water. Yet at the next table the staff were serving other people different drinks. When my wife asked for a refill on the water, she was completely ignored. Some of the staff were actually rude. We didn't stay much longer to notice much else.

Excellent accommodations and customer service. We have visited this hotel several years in a row. We never have any problems and always enjoy the stay! Easy access to downtown restaurants and shopping.

Had a nice stay there while attending a convention. It is handily attached to the convention with an overpass. The room was clean and well decorated. The bed was very comfy. When I missed the banquet I was able to buy frozen lasagna at the front desk and cook it in my microwave. Minor complaint, was unable to easily reach the bed side lamp. The were plenty of outlets for charging.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and typically it is a lovely place to lodge overnight. However, this time, the attendant at the desk was curt and uninterested in my business. She place me, along with my husband and twin boys, on a floor with a block of rooms. We were two rooms away from the elevator and had to deal with yelling and door slamming until 2:45 am. Typically the front desk staff is extremely accommodating and interested in insuring a great stay. Unfortunately, this was just not a great experience all around.

Hotel staff is extremely friendly, courteous and always makes our group feel welcome and appreciated we are staying at their hotel. Great location on the water. Would recommend this hotel if you ever visit Oshkosh.

The Oshkosh Best Western is a beautiful facility, well-maintained and recently refurbished. The room I stayed in (king bed) was spacious, nicely decorated, and impeccably clean. Plenty of seating and a table for writing. Spacious bathroom with a well-lit shower, lots of drawer space and hangers in the closet for clothing. All of the table lamps had outlets for plugging in mobile devices. The coffee service (by the cup), microwave, and mini-fridge made it a home away from home. I'm pretty fussy about the hotels I stay in and even though I didn't choose this one (here for a conference), I'm so glad our group stayed at Best Western Waterfront in Oshkosh. My only complaint is that a high-quality hotel such as this needs to upgrade the restaurant they have on-site. The Ground Round served rather mediocre meals (dinner and two breakfasts for me).

Attended a conference located at this hotel. For ease of access to the conference I stayed here. Overall satisfied. My one negative comment is I could not get a "late check-out". The conference on the final day did not end until 11am. Check-out is by "11am". I had to inconvinence myself and check-out early.

They even leave mints on the pillow. I enjoyed the spa area and the fact that the spa hours are awesome they kept the spa open until 2 am so after I come back from work late at night I can get in the spa before turning in for bed. The location of this hotel is perfect right across the street from the convention center which is convenient. I would come back and stay here.

Was here for a wedding. Beautiful views from the room. Bride had a nice suite on the 6th floor which had a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and very luxurious Jacuzzi separate from the shower and toilet. The rate she got was extremely reasonable. Food that was served for the rehearsal dinner was pretty good.

We had a lovely stay for a last minute night out! Beautiful view, friendly staff, clean, everything we could want. The $voucher for breakfast isn't really of any value. It's $10 off per person, for a $10 cost. So, it doesn't save you anything to add it to your reservation.

We visit this hotel every year for a banquet and they are usually very friendly and helpful. I love that the pool is open late and has adult only hours. The rooms are clean and spacious. My only complaints would be that Elevators to parking garage can be confusing and that if you make special requests at your reservation time they do not always honor that. I have asked for joined rooms twice now that I have not gotten plus when you request this you are stuck with certain bed sizes which we would have not done if the joined rooms were not important. So we ended up sacrificing bed space for a joined room and we didn't get it anyhow but still were left with the bed sizes we didn't want. Oh well we still had a good time just did not get good sleep.

The rooms are very nice with extremely comfortable beds (the most comfortable that I have ever experienced). All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I would say that our stay was a little pricey, but absolutely worth it for the quality of experience we had. Should I come back to the area I hope to be able to stay here again.

Thank you for the great stay! The room was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. My company hosted a banquet here and the catering was very good and the facilities were lovely. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here if you are travelling through Oshkosh or hosting here if you are looking for a venue in the area.

This hotel offers clean and updated rooms at a reasonable price. Located across the street from the conference center and within walking distance of some delicious dining options as well as a couple of little fishing spots if you're so inclined. Pool area was clean and well maintained and the staff was courteous and friendly.

Very elegant hotel. They had their Christmas decorations up and they were outstanding. Everything was a photo op for our event it was perfect. I wish I would have booked a hotel room to stay for the evening. Being on the water made for a great ambiance. And the staff was impeccable for our dining.

We only stayed one night but I was impressed. Very very clean room, lots of pillows, up to date decor, love the bath products (hair never felt softer and I'm a Cosmetologist), great view, ample easy parking and laundry on the same floor. I have to say that I loved the blow dryer so much that I went out and bought one the next day. Next time I will use the pool cause the fact that they keep it open until 2:00am is fabulous. I checked every motel in the area and this was the best deal. Cheaper than some of the budget hotels in Oshkosh.

Very impressed with the rooms. Modern and up to date decor. Very comfortable beds, and best of all was the dark Starbucks coffee in the room. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is great for easy walking to stores and restaurants and it along the river so great views as well.

The Best Western in Oshkosh, WI. Is simple beautiful. You walk in and the lobby is gorgeous. The hotel offers a beautiful dining area with a full bar. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a huge indoor pool. You can't beat it. The rooms are incredibly designed. They are very spacious and comfortable. I was traveling with a friend for work and we had to share the room. It offered plenty of space for our things and for each other. Probably the best selling point, is the awesome view of the water just out our back window. The next time you find yourself in Oshkosh, WI. You have to stay at the Best Western. You'll be glad you did.

Very expensive, very mediocre. Poor service. Staff is not trained well for this type of service industry. Front desk staff that checked me in talked so fast with her head down I had to tell her to slow down and repeat herself. Left a service hanger on the door for more coffee packets and it was ignored. Why have it then? Low class hotel pretending to be high class. Fall s way short.

I attended a conference here. The staff was friendly and the beverages were good. The seats weren't terrible. The conference rooms were clean and sound proof.

We stayed in the hotel for a wedding down the water front. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. Sound proofing was great. We didn't hear other guests in the next room. Check in and out was easy. Parking was a breeze.

This hotel, with its free shuttle to The Waters, was an exemplary experience for us. We only spent one night at BW, but everything about our stay was stellar. Before we left to head back to the Chicago area, we met with friends for a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. We enjoyed our experience so much that we shared it with our son, who recently proposed to his girlfriend: they are looking for a future reception venue.

Great place. Our room faced the lake and river. My granddaughters and I loved watching the drawbridge come down for the trains. We used the pool twice which was great. A little surprised that we had to pay for the bottled water and breakfast wasn't furnished but all in all it was a pleasure. We will come again as long as we get a room with that view.

Our group of five had drinks and dinner at the Ground Round. It was BOGO burger night (Tuesday). Food was excellent. There are a wide variety of themed burgers to choose from. Service was top notch. To round out a fantastic eating experience we ate along side the river on their beautiful, outdoor dining area.

Excellent hotel. Great setting on the water. Compares to any hotel chain with very nice, modern and clean rooms. My wife and I were very impressed and if again in Oshkosh would stay at this hotel again without checking prices elsewhere.

Here photographing a wedding and loved the area. The view was simply amazing from our particular room and the room itself was great. It was very nice being right next to the downtown area so we could go right outside for a walk. The area around the hotel was wonderful for taking the wedding photos and the hotel staff was very cooperative with helping out for things the wedding party needed. I would recommend this hotel to others for their weddings as well as to just be a guest and enjoy.

Wonderful hotel! Very nice room overlooking the lake. Comfortable bed. Staff very friendly. Had a malfunction in my room but was fixed right away and was left a nice hand written note from the maintenance guy. Something I wasn't expecting but a nice added personal touch. Made me smile. The only negative was my room was right about the restaurant patio so conversation and laughter was heard all night. Not much that can be done about that though. Overall it is a hotel that I would highly recommend and is my hotel of choice in Oshkosh, WI.

My family stayed here for a wedding that was at the convention center. All of the the staff we dealt with were courteous and professional, the room was clean, we had a great view of the river, and the reception at the convention center was great. Everyone we encountered was helpful. The food at the wedding and in the restaurant was delicious. Overall a great experience.

Rooms were very well kept, and pretty modern. Overall didn't feel like the four Seasons but nicer than an average Joe hotel. Staff was very nice and parking was convenient. Great location for downtown Oshkosh events. Pretty good value overall, especially if you have a room with a view of the river.

Visited the restaurant for drinks and dinner. Patio bar is highly recommended. Like the fact that they have view of river, and games. Dinner was wonderful. Made our hamburgers they way we requested, and service was great.

This is by far the nicest Best Western I have ever stay at. The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We used the Waterfront Catering for our wedding and were very happy with everything — from customer service to the food! We thought they were reasonably priced… they had our security deposit back the following week of the wedding AND sent us a gift! Very well managed business. Would hire them again.

The room was great. I stayed on both the 5th and 8th floor. Both rooms had great views of the river. I had to change rooms because my husband was there for two different events and the hotel was super accommodating considering checkout was at 11 and check-in was at 3. We didn't have to wait at all for our room. It was great.

The BW Premier Waterfront Hotel is situated in a great location. At the end of Main St. Downtown Oshkosh and just as the edge of Lake Winnebago, it gives a spectacular view and the opportunity for good food and night life. The hotel is clean and modern with great amenities such as a great pool and great fitness center. While no breakfast is included, the hotel has provided a discount at the restaurant that is aytached, the Ground Round, which provides your standard selection of American cuisine.

This place is just awesome we've stayed here twice the rooms are nice the hotel is nice and clean I love that the pool stays open untill 2am, kristie that works the front desk is awesome, the bartenders were alot of fun, the food is good and the spotted cow is amazing. And I must throw in the Thanksgiving eve party was so fun my daughter and closed the bar. I am a forever customer.

Our weekend stay at this Hotel was great. Easy parking, awesome waitstaff everywhere, including great people and food at the Ground Round. Very, very comfortable stay and heads above other hotel/motel experiences. Couldn't have asked for more… other than a bit more singing from those quartets singing Barbershop Harmony.

I was very impressed. Clean, comfortable, interesting floor plan. It was great having free Wi-Fi! Two things that weren't positive, although, not the hotels fault… I was on the 7th floor and the restaurant dumped glad bottles or something into the trash every ten minutes or so. This was after midnight and pretty startling. Maybe a talk by management to the restaurant would be in order. The other was the "maze" getting back and forth to parking. Seems like the ramp was filled by restaurant patrons and made it difficult to find parking by ten at night. I realize this is the only way to handle parking… just found it a little unsettling at night.

I've been staying at this hotel regularly for the last 1 and 1/2 years, I've always been impressed with the staff and come back because of how great they are. In addition to staying here on business regularly, I've had my family join me a few times, and everyone loves the staff and this hotel as much as I do. This is a great facility and wonderful staff.

Was a little leery to stay here due to marginal reviews. However the wedding was right at the attached Convention Center so we gave it a try anyway. Turned out to be a GREAT choice! Hotel was very nice, clean, well appointed and right downtown on the river. All of the employees were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. They went over and above to make our 2 night stay enjoyable and comfortable. This will be my hotel of choice for all future trips to Oshkosh.

Could not believe how horrible the staff was to my friends and I. Not only did they talk down to us and question us as we checked in, but even the manager was rude to us when we asked to speak with him. As we were waiting for our cab in the lobby we overheard the front desk workers say to each other, "I'd rather wear a paper bag over my head than wear that! " (Side Note: We were wearing Vikings clothing since we were going to the game, besides the point. Say it after we leave, not when we can clearly hear you) The front desk staff should NEVER act this way and make guests feel this way. They are the face of the business and reading the other reviews we are not the only ones who had a horrible experience.

Horible! Staff sucks. For 250 bucks a night you think you would get decent service. 3 times the knocked on our door to tell us we where being loud when it was the wedding party that was there making the noise. We where not with the wedding party. 2 times they bothered us to tell us to stop slamming the door which the dip sticks should fix the door cause it slams all by itelf. Told them we wanted a late check out when we hacked in. Told them 2 other times too. Then at 10 am they where knocking obnoxiously every 15 minutes telling us we had to check out. Called the front desk about the Wi-Fi not working and they really did not care. I will never stay there again and do not recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the hotel restaurant the ground round sucks.

What an absolute joke of a hotel staff. The hotel is nice enough, but the staff here is utterly moronic. Went here for a wedding, having a good time in one of the several rooms we had booked. We were being a little loud and it was 3 a. M. After the Saturday night wedding, so after being warned (and threatened with a call to the police), we quieted down. Lo and behold the police were called anyway and we were thrown out of our room at, again, 3 a. M. None of us lived anywhere near this place, so we were forced to take $200 cab rides back home. Not sure if it's a private security firm this hotel uses or if the security guy was employed by the Best Western, but him and the incompetent night staff were incredibly quick to call the police and throw us out over a noise complaint. The Oshkosh police department didn't fare much better in the customer service department, but they were acting on behalf of this hotel, which they reminded us was a private property and basically doesn't need a reason to kick anyone out. Spent $400 on rooms that we were able to enjoy for a good 30 minutes, and they are adamant about not refunding that money. Absolutely ridiculous that these people have jobs that require them to talk to other humans. If you're considering staying here, make sure to keep your voices to a low whisper, lest any of these neanderthals hear you and completely overreact.
