As a chronic muscle pain sufferer, called ahead to ask if the hot tub was working, they said yes. Its not working. Pool toilet is clogged and no one at the front desk will bother to answer the phone. The elevator buttons work 75% of the time requiring lots of extra touching, but all the hand sanitizer stations are empty. Like not even a bag in the machine. Just on the wall useless. This is a 1 star hotel working hard to spread covid.

Courteous staff. Indoor heated pool and kiddie pool with whirlpool. Comfortable, well furnished rooms.

Kind of a loud hotel, staff and patrons talking in the hallway, loud doors.

We stopped at the Comfort Inn, Madison. Rooms and building were clean, and check in staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was on par with hotels in this price range. On the negative side, they were blaring MSNBC news during breakfast. This was pretty vacuous political commentary on Trump. This was affecting my ability to peacefully eat, read or enjoy my breakfast, so I turned it down. I'm assuming staff turned it back up, as volume resumed shortly after. After checking with other breakfast patrons, I went to turn it down again, and was informed by Tony at the the front desk that, "I'm watching that". After a short chat with him, he referred me to the manager, who informed me that they 'had to' have MSNBC on. A peaceful breakfast is an important part of my stay. We all decide where we will stay. This affects my choice. I'll leave it up to you to make yours.

No hot water. Tepid at best. Staff was helpful though.

The rooms here are VERY nice, but the staff is even better! Very accommodating and friendly. Had an issue with the TV, which wasn’t really a big deal, but they switched us to a different room without even having to ask! Not only a different room, but a better room with a hot tub! After experiencing some problems with our truck being held an extra day at the shop, this certainly made our situation a much less stressful experience. I’d certainly return to this hotel anytime!

Nice an clean rooms. 90% of the staff was great. The Hispanic breakfast staff on the other hand… I speak an understand Spanish. So calling me a Anglo pig when l asked a simple question was not called for. Sausage and eggs were ice cold. Other than those two people. I would have given a better rating.

Located in very nice area among other hotels in East Madison, just off highway and near many restaurants and mall with variety of stores. We stayed in Jacuzzi suite, which had king bed in separate bed room from living room, large jacuzzi tub, 2 TVs, and small kitchenette. Outdated decor, but clean, with comfortable bed and large bathroom. Serviceable breakfast, friendly front desk staff. Parking lot full due to sold out hotel.

The hotel is pretty good. It offers pool, breakfast, lounge, and many other features. Service is great and location too. The main areas are slightly smaller and tight to go through. Not much difference than the standard hotels, but that doesn't make this place any less desirable or satisfying. 4/5

Service was great and they let us check in a half hour early. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice! Though it is a long walk from the 3rd floor to the pool as the pool is on the far end of the building. Breakfast was included but we didn't partake. It looked pretty decent with a variety of cereal, fruits, and eggs.

Me and my husband stayed here for a night while visiting Madison. The front desk staff were very friendly. The room was clean and big. Everything worked fine. It was very convenient to get to downtown. I would definitely go back.

It's fine. I use the conference room every couple months. Good for presentations. Not sure about other amenities.

Comfortable rooms with a friendly and helpful staff. When I entered the hotel I was greeted and given all the information I would need for my stay. My only issue with the stay is that my room was on the back of the hotel facing a side road with bright street lights on it. However, this is problem is partly fixed by the light deadening blinds and you cannot fault the staff for this issue.

50/50. I spent two nights here. The 1st night I had a horrobke experience — my room was by the ice machine and exterior door. I couldn't get any sleep. The next morni g I requested a room change and the hotel was very accommodating. My second night was delightful.

Comfortable, clean room. Slept well both nights. My son fogot his toothbrush, but they had extra supplies available. Visited the pool and hot tub. The pool was nice and warm. The staff was friendly. The only issue was that the pool entrance back to the hotel would not open so we had to go outside and enter a different door. They "fixed" it by duct taping it open. Breakfast had a nice variety. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

I had stayed at Comfort Inns before that were remodeled and look a lot nicer. The price of the room was no different then some of the other hotels. Our room was okay not the best but okay to stay the night. The staff there is very friendly always willing to help and to say hi. Really didn't have the free breakfast but what we saw was just the same anywhere else. I'm giving this three stars as hopes that they will be remodeled soon. Is that a good location.

Old… black around tub rim (mold? ), water spots on ceiling beams…
Towel rack fell off wall, bed looked like it was made by a kid… SO much spray deodorizer when arrived… not so good with people with respiratory issues… Sure needs some work. Pool was not open either…
The front staff WAS very friendly and helpful.

They were all very helpful and pick me up at KW took me back. The rooms are equipped with everything I needed. The People who work there are all very helpful. There breakfast was very good and a good selection. Thanks.

Not my first stay here. Comfortable accommodations. Clean, quiet and the comforts of home. Staff is friendly and respectful. Recommend staying here to anyone.

Worst hotel I've ever experienced in my life. I travel for a living, and this was by far my worst experience. The hotel tried to scam me out of my money by claiming I smoked in the room when I don't smoke. I spend a lot of money with them and this is their idea of customer service. I've never been treated rthis way by a hotel and I am absolutely appalled. I feel I owe it to every good person innocently renting a room not to waste their money here, because they do not see you as a person or even a customer. NEVER use your credit card here, they will claim you've done something you haven't and charge you to make an extra buck. I never imagined I'd have to worry about theft from a corporate organization; Comfort Inn and whoever is running it disgust me. The blonde at the front is extremely rude and doesn't seem to realize she works in customer service. Just don't waste your hard earned money here guys…

Tracy art front desk was so nice and polite. She was also very helpful with food recommendations and things to do in Madison. Lady that worked Saturday evening was rude and dismissive. I waited over 5 min for her to say anything to me, she was on phone which seemed like a personal call, then rolled her eyes when I tried to hand het a couple pool towels that I found laying on ground on ground in hallway by couches, not by rooms or pool. Acted like I was a bother. Another customer in lobby ended up asking me before the desk clerk if she could help which she did. I wad there to all to use a cork screw. Which the quest had.

We arrived night before flight to Mexico for park-and-fly. Great room and staff wonderful. Plenty great eats close to hotel. Shuttle service fantastic.

Clearly an older hotel, but was clean, and quiet. Perkins right out the front and in walking distance from so much more food and shopping wise. They also have a breakfast. When I was there they had eggs and sausage, plus the usual fruit, and cereal. Worst part was fighting with the TV at night… But thats the digital media vendor NOT the hotel. — I would know, used to install for one.

Very clean and professionally managed. I got a good night sleep. Money well spent and reasonable rates. Also provided me with shuttle service from peterbilt dealership. I'm a truck driver and I appreciate the quick services provided.

This place was a great experience. The whirlpool was nice and hot the pool was great. The shuttle service was very convenient while my truck was repaired. The price was excellent.

Had a nice relaxing night, very friendly staff. We were late checking out in the morning, but we're not made to feel bad about it or rushed to leave. Thank you for the nice night.

It's a good place and it's super clean.

It's your basic hotel to stay at for the night or two. The receptionist was friendly and nice and even called a place to see if they were open to get food. It's the little things. Room was clean and the heater worked. The Wi-Fi had a good connection. No complaints! Haven't tried the breakfast yet tho!

Prices are OK but just to be honest it's a little bit gross here. I got a hot tub suite and the carpets felt like they were 20 years old, it had a cabinet as a closet that was old and peeling. It wasn't romantic to say the least, I felt like spraying for bugs.

Place is ok. Some idiot thought it would be a good idea for decoration to have drapes over cheesecloth type drapes. The heavier drapes can not be moved so you have windows with no way of blocking out light. So you have lights outside the windows to keep the lot light, but the rooms cannot be made dark. How does this help people sleep well? They need some blind you can pull down or drapes that allow you to shut them. I have stayed here about 8 times in last 5 years. Last year have had some rude employees to deal with, including this visit. Also this visit there have been some nice employees too. Place is not as clean as a few years ago. Food for breakfast is not up by the start of their advertised start time. They need to set up parking by zone near your room as parking at times is too tight. They seem to have ample conference areas is one wants that. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi.

Basic hotel. Right off the highway and easy to get to. The service is excellent for a property that is dated. Great place to stay for the night while traveling 94.

Location is great just in the outside of town and a quick Uber ride to the capital. Room was a bit dated but comfortable. Would stay again.

Nice hotel with local and airport shuttle. If you're driving a large vehicle (semi, RV, etc) there is parking on the street. The staff here are nice, and very helpful. Comfortable beds, I slept like a stone.

The bed look ok but when I move the sheets cause we wanted to rest there was sand and dirt and lots of hair. We call so they can send someone to clean the bed the guy almost hit me with the dirty sheets and some of the staff was looking at us like we were crazy. We are suppose to stay until Monday but we are leaving Saturday never again.

The location was convenient and in an area that had many stores and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of order due to repairs being needed which was disappointing — I was looking forward to being able to relax a bit. The bed was a bit too firm for me which led to a fairly restless night of sleep but the continental breakfast had a good selection and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff. We stayed in the high rise section of the hotel on the 3rd floor which seemed to be alot nicer than than the older part of the hotel. Good location that is close to shopping and restaurants. Bed was very comfortable. We had a king mini suite with a sofa sleeper and it was just the right size for my husband, daughter and I. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Very, very long walk to the pool from where our room was. Bathroom was very small, so small it was hard to shut the door. Hot tub was out of order but we had fun in the pool. Breakfast was stocked at all times and had a good variety. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

The room was A LOT nicer than I expected, but it is Sandra who deserves the 5 stars. My work forgot to inform them I have a service dog, and usually the hotel staff becomes annoyed by this, but not Sandra. She accommodated my needs without any hiccups and very sweet. Professionalism and customer service is obsolete these days, so it is a breath of fresh air to see it. I highly recommend this establishment!

Terrific stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and very attentive. We only had one issue on our 6 day stay and it was taken care of immediately. Good breakfast, close to the airport and downtown.

Room was nice and clean and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly too, but pool was too cold and hot tub was too hot. I'd never been in a hot tub so hot that it hurt before this trip. Also, the second night we stayed, someone was playing very loud music after midnight. We called the desk to ask whoever it was to turn it down because we were trying to sleep, but it didn't get quiet until hours later. I think it was after 3 am when it was finally quiet.

I checked in and all though the place wasn't fancy it was clean. I spent one night in my room and had a tough time sleeping so I asked the Young lady at the front desk If they had a egg crate cushion I could put on my bed. She said they didn't but offered to put me in another room, she told me to check and see if the bed was comfortable. She let me change rooms and that room ended​ up being a suite. I really appreciate this kindness in this situation.

The hotel is easily accessible, being right off the interstate on a frontage road. Our interactions with staff were pleasant and they really went the extra mile when I had questions or requests. — The complementary breakfast is well stocked and tended, consisting of the standard fare of eggs/sausage/waffle machine/pastries/cereal/yogurt. — Exercise facilities were a treadmill, noisy elliptical, stationary bike, and a cable weight machine. These were all obviously recently cleaned and in good condition. — Pool was comfortable, but the hot tub was HOT. I couldn't sit in it for more than a couple minutes and everyone else didn't submerge more than their feet. We alerted the front desk, they thanked us, but I did not follow up to see if that was changed. — Our sheets were surprisingly noisy, so sleep was a little difficult for me and I wasn't a fan of the pillows, but that's personal preference. — Rooms high up and facing towards the residential area have quite a lovely view, and if you open the windows you get to hear the sounds of children playing. There was much less car noise than I was expecting. I'd gladly stay here again, overall. The staff are consistently great and really make the difference.

The gym was not up tp par. The cable system seemed to be streched out and not cared for. When I used the machine it would grind and not function properly. The room was nice.

Great service! We did the park, sleep, fly deal and they were super accomodating. The price was great as well.

Room was spacious and clean. They have a pool and gym. The Wi-Fi is pretty reliable and the breakfast selection was good. Also they have lemonade and popcorn all day.

Our room was very clean, warm, and cozy! We stopped to stay on our way home from Illinois the perfect half way point! Loved the breakfast! What a great way to start our day.

This was our second time staying in the whirlpool suite and it was amazing. However this time we did notice the jets were not working properly in the tub and the sheets were stained. Staff is always pleasant and bkfst was good again.

Front desk staff were decent. Room could use some TLC. Shower drain was clogged. Hot water is non existent during the middle of the day. Breakfast was ok but I wasn't overwhelmed with the quality. That being said I would stay here again.

Staff is incredibly nice and if you ask they will deliver. Breakfast is better than any other continental breakfast I've had. The rooms have fridges, pillow options, they keep the room stocked. I isn't much but they have a small pool and hot tub. I'd come back again in a second for those warm cookies, popcorn, and that wonderful Robyn at the front desk. You have to pay a $20 fee for a fridge up the road at the eroding Crowne Plaza up the road, but unlike the Frowne Plaza, this place has free smiles, beer stocked at under $4, and the room provides a pleasant nights sleep.

The staff is very nice, but this place was horrible. The bathroom had black mold in it and what little caulking was there was coming off in layered strips. The carpet had large black stains, the walls had scuff marks and stains, the beds were not stable and literally looked like a U. Topping it all off the curtains didn't even cover the window, which was open to the parking lot. I will never stay at this Comfort Inn again.

Staying for training in the area. Almost 2 months there. Can't complain much yet.

Reasonable rates, clean, and friendly stff.

Well. It is difficult to say that this is a "nice" hotel. It is 100 % smoke free and it smells OK. However, this hotel is due for an update. The carpets are old and dirty. The furniture is old and outdated. The TV in our room had only 3 colors: purple, black and white. Hall ways are disgusting. Outdated furniture, carpets and walls in the lobby make you feel like you've traveled back in time 30 years ago. White towels used to be "white" maybe 10 years ago. We are very disappointed. You would be better off at Super 8.

Last Tuesday I returned to Madison and called your Inn for shuttle service. My car had been there for a week in your Park-and-Fly program. I was a little surprised that Ajay was the shuttle driver, but maybe it was slow at the Inn in the middle of the day. He was very courteous and helpful to us. However, when we arrived back at the Inn my car had a flat tire, and it was raining, and it was a chilly 40 degrees. To save time I wanted to change the tire rather than call the service people. Ajay said he would help. He really took charge and did most of the work, again in the rain. I surely didn’t expect that kind of exemplary service from a hotel manager. What a great person you have employed to represent your interests! I am highly impressed and WILL stay at your Inn anytime I am in Madison, and will certainly recommend it to friends.
