Honestly the BEST hotel/resort I’ve stayed at. Hotel rooms are extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and homey. On top of having a fully stocked kitchen, In the suite, there are the two pools, hot tub, a children’s play area, game room, and fitness area. We stayed for a few days, over Easter, and added another 2 days. Staff is absolutely wonderful, helpful, and kind. Also, over Easter every kid received an Easter Basket and there was an egg hunt. Hands down will be our go to in Door county.

Wanted to watch a DVD and there was no player. The receptionist was amazingly helpful. She Searched and found us one and hooked it up for us. She was friendly all week and made us feel so welcomed.

Great location to rest of county.

We've stayed here twice before and have always been happy but not this time. Wondering if there's new management or owners? Front desk was not very friendly. They were talking more to other employees than acknowledging guests. Parking lot took forever to be plowed therefore we got stuck right by hotel entrance. Two male employees just stood there and watched my husband try to shovel the car wheels out instead of offering assistance. Our room was gross. Clothes left in one of the closets, lots of food crumbs and popcorn underneath the sofa and a dirty Kleenex in the nightstand drawer. The only positives were the fireplace and the view. Sadly, will be coming back here again.

We had a wonderful stay here a couple weeks ago. The resort is very kid friendly and has wonderful options for all ages. We loved they had a full kitchen so we could cook. The pool was huge and clean. Areas to play for little ones. They have a grill area. Even a little gift shop that has pizzas and wine and beer available. We had two separate suites which was so nice and a little living room and fireplace. It felt like a little home. Which was wonderful for a family with little ones. We definitely will be coming back.

Fun with our boys. Lots for them to do! Great room too. We had a lot of fun staying there.

Ive been coming here yearly around my birthday and I always enjoy a super relaxing day at this amazing resort before hitting the trails the next day. I love how clean, huge, and updated the rooms are. The pool and hottub are very large so you can spread out and the staff is always so polite and professional. Great shopping and restaurants within a few blocks. I will keep coming back.

We thought it was very cozy, but we did find dirty dishes other than that the hot tub was large and clean along with the large pool and sauna. They also provided door county coffee in room every day!

Very nice place. We had a 2 bedroom suite. Kitchen cupboards were well stocked, living room area had a nice gas fireplace. The beds were a little worn out (springs). The pool and hot tub were clean. Rooms were a good price.

Very unsatisfied with our stay. The pool area was filled up which drunks guys attending a bachelor party, alcohol bottles everywhere. My kids couldn’t even swim. Noise of yelling and screaming outside our room of people drinking all night. We couldn’t sleep with kids in room. We called office and nobody was in office after 10. This was a party hotel not a quaint door county resort. We will not be back.

We stayed last week. What a beautiful and clean property. Our suite was comfortable. The fireplace was cozy. A well stocked kitchen with all the things you need to cook in if you choose to.
The whirlpool and pools were fantastic! Beach towels provided pool side.
The staff was amazing. All necessary Covid precautions were in place.
We will definitely be returning again!

Very nice for the cost. Also plenty of things to do being centrally located. I'm impressed enough to make this a yearly family outing.

We stay at the Newport every September for a long weekend. 6 couples share 3 suites. Always a wonderful time! Great staff and nice rooms. Wish they would bring the breakfasts back though!

This place was amazing! Our group was there on business but I would take my family here anytime! Compared to any other place in Door County, it was relatively inexpensive, especially for the amount of space you get! I really appreciated the staff working with me to get our group in and they were so hospitable from the second we arrived and during our entire stay. Very close to eating establishments and they offered menus to all the area restaurants in the lobby. The Newport Market is a great touch! being able to purchase little snacks or drinks was a great convenience to have. Thank you so much to all the staff at the Newport!

The rooms were dirty when we checked in. Dirty dishes and dirty toilets. During our stay, the daily service did little more than make the beds. Crumbs sat on the table, uncleaned, for 4 days. A heavy mirror fell off the wall and nearly injured my child. It was held only by 2 thin nails in drywall. The front desk staff called one evening to reprimand us for our children running through the hall all afternoon. We had just returned from an all-day outing.

Great place to stay. Quiet and friendly customer service. Highly recommend!

Spent a week here and have been very satisfied. Our 2 room suite has been very comfortable for our family of 3. We rented a pack and play from them and it was a great decision and very clean. The location is great for experiencing Egg Harbor and the rest of Door County. My only gripe is the fitness center. I workout when I travel and the equipment is very old and out of shape. Still a great place.

We enjoyed our getaway to Door County at the Newport Resort. The location has great walkability to all of Egg Harbor. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel, while outdated decor is nicely decorated and very accommodating. The pools are great. There is an area outside to BBQ and eat. The breakfast is okay. Usually two hot dishes, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee and assortment of breads and donuts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

Overall we would not recommend Newport Resort. We checked in on a Sunday, our room had dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a washcloth still in the tub. Upon further inspection we realized that the lampshade, the fan, the A/C unit and headboard were all coated in dust. Some of the clean dishes were not clean, we held up each to the light and put those with lip marks or food debris into the dishwasher. We did not start taking pics until the issues started adding up so several complaints were not photographed. We tried to call the front desk but our phone wasn't working. We called the front desk from our cell and the person on duty came up. They were unable to fix the phones or show us how to lock the balcony door which we felt was a safety issue to leave unlocked. Both issues took till Tuesday to resolve. (We had to report the issues again, they were not passed along internally). I guess there is no maintenance person working on Sunday which is odd for such a large resort. My wife asked to speak to a manager who was surprised with the issues and said that a heavy spring cleaning had occurred only a couple months before. The same manager also told my wife that the room price would be adjusted based on us having to clean when we checked in. Emails were not responded to and when we went to check out that person we needed to speak with was at the front desk.

Great location! Felt like we were in the country, but only a few blocks from main street. Loved all the options for kids. Even tho it was only 70 degrees, it was plenty hot enough to play in the pool outside. We'd stay here again, but I'd ask for a room on the second floor (likely less noise) and to have a garden view (vs the parking lot).

Beautiful rooms. Great location. Rooms could use an upgraded AC or a second AC for the bedroom. Overall a great value for the price.

This resort had tons to do with our kids! It was super affordable since we booked it in the winter. The suites were roomy and clean. We would definitely come back.

We love the place, the pool is warm the rooms are like apartments and are very spacious. The people in the area are very friendly and the staff are always helpful. We enjoyed riding bikes and sitting on our covered deck. The weather was perfect and we were able to open windows to enjoy the fresh air. Definitely a top ten place to stay in Door County.

Awesome staff! Walking distance to everything especially the park to watch the sunset. I only wish they had a restriction on the pool/ hot tub area for adults only from 9-10. I have kids and get it, but it'd be nice to have some adult time in that area. Great place to stay all in all.

Wonderful place. It's family friendly and the location is great. I've been coming here since I was 3 years old and the relaxing feeling I get when I walk in the door never fades.

Our room was spacious and very clean. A cozy fireplace was a nice surprise, as well as 2 bathrooms and kitchen with brand new appliances. Nice location that allowed for walking into town. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

We stay here twice a yr off season. Each room is s 2 bdrm, 2 bath suite with living room, kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Perfect for any get away. Beautiful large indoor pool and hot tub. Staff is very helpful. Easy walk to downtown Egg Harbor.

Great place to explore Door County in winter, plus resort offers wonderful indoor pool, whirlpool, and GREAT sauna (steam), that was so refreshing since it was — 4 outside! Suites are large, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, etc. Fireplace. Priced right.

Location was nice, the surrounding view was top notch and it was easy to find. Parking seemed adequate and check in was fast. We were upgraded to a two bedroom at no cost and found the accommodations excellent. The breakfast was a little limited but tasty. Highly recommended.

We have been coming here since the resort opened and love it here. However this time we noticed a not so pleasant smell in one of the bedrooms, the blankets are obviously not cleaned very often, and there was toothpaste all over the bathroom cabinets. During the week it's very quiet here which is nice, but on weekends it can get very loud with out of control kids running around in the hallways. We had to tell the parents we didn't want to listen to their screaming kids and they did quiet down. I think the staff should be the ones to keep things under control, the staff would have had to be deaf, to not hear these kids. I'm sorry parents, but take your kids to Super 8 and not Door country to be out of control. Despite this we will be back, however during the week only, so we can avoid the loud kids we seem to encounter quite often.

Would stay again. Close to many things. Clean. Room was large and well furnished.

Loved this resort. Clean and centrally located. Very quiet. We would definitely come back again. The only complaint would be the sofa isn't very comfortable.

Great location. Good price. Breakfast provided but definitely not as good as past years. Cool pancakes alternating with tepid French toast. Hard boiled eggs. Bread. Cold cereal. Newport 20 Years old and starting to show its age. Time for a refurbishment. Stained couch. Worn carpet. Etc. Staff very friendly though.

Clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. Rooms are big and homey. Decent breakfast. We will stay here again.

Love this place. It has a fireplace in the room and a nice kitchenette. The desk people are very helpful if you need anything.

Beautiful resort with a ton of amenities. We even enjoyed a gorgeous bike ride around Egg Harbor on their complimentary bikes! Tastefully decorated rooms that are well furnished, several TV's, an outdoor patio with furniture, kitchen, stove, and microwave. The resort has an indoor and outdoor pool, workout room, great Continental breakfast, and we were thoroughly impressed with the hostess at the front desk. Extremely friendly and helpful. We all loved it and are already planning another trip back!

Husband and I came to Door County for our wedding anniversary. Stayed at Newport during our stay. Very clean, well maintained place. Friendly staff. Was upgraded to 2 bedroom suite upon check-in. Pleasently surprised. The location was close to down town. We had fun renting the bikes and spending one of the afternoons biking throughout town and checking out the different shops and the area by the bay. Will definitely be coming back and recommending friends/family to stay here.

Nice resort with huge rooms. Close to shopping and restaurants. It was our second stay with them, great with or without kids. Indoor and outdoor pool, grilling area, indoor playroom. Wonderful place to stay in Door County:)

I would recommend the Newport Resort to anybody wanting a relaxing place to stay, the Resort has many amenities including Grills for outdoor grilling, an outdoor space for gathering with friends and family, two pools, a kids area, and the rooms are fairly quiet and give you space to strech out. The staff us very friendly and accommodating.

Location was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub were a good size. Bikes were nice added touch. Continental breakfast was good. Great value and and overall excellent stay!

The weather wasn't great during our stay, the best time to go would be during the summer. The hotel was clean, quiet, very standard, cottage-like, and cozy. Not on the lake, but a very short drive, about 3 minutes. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful and friendly. Great place for families, not really a couple's getaway.

We had an amazing time. The our room was clean, cozy and came w/all the essentials. The bed was so comfortable! The pool was clean and warm. The lady at the front desk (didn't catch her name but she has glasses and brown curly hair) was wonderful! I got engaged and she made me a bouquet of flowers and delivered a champagne bottle to our room. Parking was readily available. Overall a great stay and would definitely check them out again.

Great resort. Rooms have full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, nice living area with fireplace and balcony, and bathroom has jacuzzi tub.

The resort is very accommodating. They even picked up my favorite wine and had it chilling in my room when we arrived. The rooms are very nice, we will be back.

Went looking for a weekend away from work and everything in my hometown. Our stay was relaxing and serene. The pool, hot tub, sauna combo was amazing, and the rooms are beautifully maintained. Overall, my stay was amazing.

We have stayed at the Newport Resort for years — it's just the best. While there are many fine resorts and hotels in Door County, Newport ranks among the best. Clean well equipped apartment units, basic but definitely sufficient complementary breakfast, gorgeous surroundings are just a few of the great amenities at the Newport. We will continue to stay there for years to come.

Great location, close to restaurants and the harbor. Room was nice and everything was clean. Our boys (4 and 2) loved the play areas and the pool. The staff was extremely nice.

Very nice rooms, complete with a nice living room, kitchen and full bedroom and bath. Very clean and modern. All suites have a semi to full private balcony/deck, gas fireplace, whirlpool tub and spacious sized rooms. Pool and hot tub! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and all common areas are kept super clean. We were here with a group in the winter off — season and room prices were not super high but summer season is always bustling so expect to pay a bit more as it is a tourist destination. I would come back! 2 thumbs UP.

The lady at the desk was very helpful during check in. Our room was very very nice abetter than expected. We had a suite with a fireplace and the price was very reasonable, the room was clean and everything worked. We were here in September during the off season so it was pretty quiet but all in all we had a wonderful stay.

Stayed here more times than I can remember. It's great! The rooms are nice and, well, roomy. The pool is great. And service is pretty good too. The breakfast is a little lack luster but who cares? It's within walking distance of some great breakfast spots anyway! Walk around the town a little and get to know it.
