The king suite was very spacious and very clean. The jet tub was very clean and no mold to be found. Large fridge and microwave. A very nice hotel for the price.

Good hotel. Looks to be in the process of updating. Nice staff.

Clean, quiet motel. Free breakfast features quite a few choices. Only issue I had was the maid continually trying to get into the room to clean it before we checked out. Seems there should be a way for staff to know when a room has been vacated.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon check in the representative at the front desk very rude to busy on her cell phone. She kept making it a point there is no smoking in the floor we were staying (no one smokes in our group) but she wanted to make sure we knew, get to our floor reeked of cigarette smoke, and cigar smoke all night and into the next morning. Hallsways filthy, get into our room, smelled of sour something. No blankets on the bed. We went to walmart and bought cleaning material to clean the bathroom was disgusting. When we asked for blankets we were told no hotel is full and they have no extras. I didnt know you had to bring own blankets to sleep. Took kids to the pool, we did not know it closed at 10 so when the same rude desk clerk came down at 1030 to kick us out she acted like we were criminals and breaking the law, she sat outside the door and followed us to our room to be sure we didnt stay in the pool. After demanding blankets yet again, she spared us 3 of them, went to bed I woke up sick (allergic to mold) I knew right away there was something wrong. Caked on black mold growing on window sill, and in the air conditioning vent. I took pictures of this. Went to make coffee in the maker in our room, caked with mold never cleaned, not even sure when was the last time it was cleaned. Caked on old coffee in bottom. I took pictures of the forget something ask at front desk sign not true. Also the sign that said promise as sure as the sun, to make our stay great. False.

The WORST dont go unless you want bedbugs and the cigarette smell, might as well sleep at the bar. The housekeeping argue in the halls and rude as hell. Definitely a meth head spot DONT GO THERE spend the extra bucks for a real room HORRIBLE.

The room itself was fine. Clean. No smells or bugs. Problem is with the safety and security. The outside entry doors are not locked. Even at 1 a. M. And the pool room is not locked either. Saw people driving in and using the pool that are not staying there. But coming in at 1 in the morning and entry door unlocked was a bit unsettling. Especially when travelling alone. AND the outside parking lot light is out. Not safe there.

I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are large and open. My single king room was more like a suite. Days Inn is a budget hotel, but the Days Inn of Yankton is nicer than most.

We've stayed here before, and now for the second time: this place smells like a cigarette (since they have smoking and no smoking rooms I think — this is still a thing? ) It seems to be fairly clean otherwise. Staff was friendly and helpful. There are definitely maintenance issues — things that should have been taken care of, or very cheap easy fixes that were started and not completed, or not started at all i. E. Fairly easy for management or owners to inspect their investment on a regular basis — just sayin'. Will avoid.

Good and clean what more do you really need very nice people also.

The room was ok, clean and what one would expect. But did get great service and help from the desk clerk Melissa. She was awesome and very personable. Made the experience much better and would return.

I'm calling out the front desk worker, Melissa, for her horrible attitude and customer service. Our reservations were made by someone in our hunting group through the 800 number. When we arrived, I asked if there was a king room available. She told us that it was too late… we couldn't change our room because we made our reservations online. She then told us that if we would've made our reservations through her direct, it would only cost us $74 instead of $100. Why would you tell us That? And try a smile, or may e look us in the eye instead of being snarky. One of the other people in our group overheard a worker saying how much she hates hunters. There were groups of us staying here who will all be back to the area in the next couple of weeks, at least 2-3 times. Guess where we will not be staying? And by the way, I learned in the morning at check out that there WAS a king room available. It's interesting how one employee can really create a horrible impression and ruin future business… wait… they hate hunters anyway.

The place is filthy. Floor in the room had trash on it. Sheets had stains, bugs in the bathtub. All around just a nasty place. Do not recommend to anyone.

This place had mold in the Whirlpool Bathtub the Jets look terrible the internet is crappy. I got this room specifically for the whirlpool and this is what I get at $90 a night this is a health hazard makes you wonder if there are bed bugs.

Good hotel. Easy to get to and they had a nice selection at breakfast. It's a great place to stay on a budget.

Rooms were clean. Staff was very nice. Pool was same temperature as the hot tub which wasn't the best for the little kids. We had a family gathering there and it worked great.

The older gentleman at the front desk was SUPER friendly very helpful we got in late and he was able to make checking in super easy. Even though we had some trouble with our booking site he was able to take care of that for us. So we were able to relax after our long car ride. The room was avarage breakfast was ok. I would most definitely stay again from the way I was treated by the clerk who made a stressfull day so much easier. Customer service goes along way with me!

1st time there, room smelled awesomazing, febreezed clean and quiet very very friendly housekeeping will be coming back definitely.

I will never EVER stay there again. Air was crappy, the Room smelled like cigarette smoke (suppose to be non — smoking room). Room next to us was noisy. Ice machine didn't work. Told the clerk, she said Oh dear, then turned her back on me. Avoid this place pictures are deceiving.

Nice staff. Smelled a bit of smoke. Comfy bed. One towel had hair in it. Pool and hottub are nice. Slept well. Nice shower. Ran out of breakfast this morning tho. Very busy.

Everything is what you would expect from a Days Inn: nice staff, good breakfast, mostly clean rooms. The building smells of smoke, but overall a nice, inexpensive place to stay.

Staff was helpful. Fairly convenient location. Rooms had space but weren't the cleanest. Pool looked cloudy but we did not swim. Prices were reasonable. Could benefit from better vending options and locations. Air conditioner​ worked well. Included microwave, fridge and safe. Morning breakfast included but did not eat.

Neat place, staying here because of work, rooms are clean, only downside is the breakfast. It's okay but I wouldn't get out of bed super early for it. (No bacon)

OK hotel for price. Furniture beat up in room but was clean.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke, door into the hotel wasn't locked, uncomfortable bed.

The hotel was a good, clean hotel. Good for a weekend stay or general overnight needs.

Terrible beds. Could not even sleep. Place is reasonably clean. Noisy fridge, had to unplug it. It's unfortunate that a hotel wearing a major chain tag has to be so uncomfortable. I'd recommend avoiding this place if you have any sort of back issues, you'd be more comfortable sleeping in your car.

Party room was nice, big, and clean.

My wife and I have stayed at this Day's Inn many times. The place used to be fantastic but the place has been slowly getting to be like so many others. On our last stay we were put in a room where the bathroom was not even cleaned. The walls in the bathroom looked like someone had opened a soda after shaking it up. This was the same room we had stayed in on our previous stay and complained to the lady on duty who said she would make a note for the manager. Did no good. The shower/tub had not been cleaned. Old used soap and a razor were still in it. On the wall by the bed someone had smeared what looked like mucus. If you look for a plug in near the night stand try not to look to close behind it. You will find cig butts, cobwebs and other things that prove they never clean around these things. Now on top of all this we received an email from Days Inn to do a survey. We did the survey and noted there are cleaning issues hoping for them to be addressed since work takes us into Yankton frequently and Days Inn is the only convenient place to stay. Instead of taking a little constructive criticism the Days Inn banned us from staying there. We have never caused them any problems but to ban us for doing a survey is just nuts.

Made a reservation for 2 rooms, when I arrived at the hotel they informed me that they had made a reservation for 2 beds in 1 room. They would not help to fix the situation, instead they wanted to give me an addition room at almost twice the original price. I would not recommend making plans with this hotel, and this is no way to treat frequent stay customers.

I only stayed here because I was working at the mental health facility, so I'm writing from that point of view. The rooms were clean. There was only one day that the room was cleaned poorly, and I wouldn't have known if I didn't see how everyone else cleaned it. It had a refrigerator, a microwave and safe. I couldn't get the safe to work though I'm sure the staff would have helped me if I had asked. The internet was great and had no problems. They also have a computer in the lounge, with a printer that I could use to print nursing information. Lastly, it may be worth asking for a student discount, since they realize that a lot of the schools in South Dakota must come. So great place to stay, especially as a student.
