Great hotel a little off the beaten path but well worth the 5 minute teave.

It’s really pretty and beautiful.

Love this place older hotel but very well kept and the staff is awesome.

The service was very poor.

Good food, even better service. Very accommodating considering I had my crazy child with me.

What made this stay great was Kaigen at the front desk. Our room had mugginess issues and came and checked it out and moved is to another room. She was very helpful she also got us some extra blankets. The rest was ok breakfast at least had eggs and Ham and that was good.

The service was outstanding, the food was wonderful, the beer and food where a bit on the expensive side. $6 for a 12 oz draft beer and $15 for pasta. They used to have great specials but not anymore. We had a table of 8 and our food arrived quickly and was all delicious. Our server was helpful and attentive.

Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. People are usually hanging out in the areas outside the rooms and can be quite loud inside the rooms. The bathrooms are ok but could use some upgrades.

Very nice hotel. Looks like a basic hotel from the outside, but it has very nice interior design, including an indoor courtyard-style lobby area running between the rooms. This was a very comfortable area to relax and meet up with friends between events. I stayed here for a conference, and there were plenty of conference rooms and additional space for us to use.

The whole hotel is really beautiful and I love the pool, gym, and arcade area features. But the Wi-Fi is really slow at times. But overall a great quality hotel. ❤️

We stay here when we come back to visit family. I grew up in Watertown and the Ramkota used to be a really nice place. Now, it is dated and dirty. We found a used bath loofa in our shower upon checking in and our toddler was playing with toys and ended up finding a half eaten pop tart under the bed skirt when looking for his car. One of our beds had filthy sheets upon check in and the whole place smelled damp. We stayed for a total of four days, and our toilet make a horrible, loud screeching noise when flushed and the bowl filling which made it very awkward to use the bathroom. I am very disappointed in the quality and we will look elsewhere in the future.

Splendid place for such a small town. The pool is great for kids! Enjoying our weekend.

Stayed there for a wedding we attended. The breakfast was limited and could have been better. Has a good selection for food to buy however. The bed was so hard we left a day early and was still charged for another night. Manervas catered the wedding and the food was very good.

Some nicely remodeled areas. Our room was not great PTAC heating unit was short cycling and kept us up all night. Restaurant was awful.

Stayed here after the grandkids were at a birthday party. They swam for hours and loved it. Yes the building is dated but obviously there has been remodeling and updating. Our room was comfortable, beds were good and we slept well. I laughed when I read on one booking site that every room has a fireplace. Minervas has an impeccable reputation for good service and food. Haven't experienced the complimentary breakfast but like most, if you snooze you lose. I'm betting an early bird gets the worm. The bathroom was dated. The tub didn't hold water but shower worked and was nice and hot. The heat lamp switch was broken. Otherwise everything else was working. Liked having a microwave and refrigerator included. All staff was friendly! The pluses outweigh the negatives. We would stay again.

I has a great stay. Nice, clean and very quiet. I never heard any one all night. Connected to the convention center and not directly off I-29 so mainly business guests.

I had never been there before but I thought the venue was very clean and comfortable, homey. I was there for a party and the room was very well displayed. Soft lights, quiet and they provided good food. Will go back in the future.

Had a Christmas party here. Food was great. The broiler room area for entertainment is a nice addition.

Got a room and ticket package for the New Year’s Eve show. Showed up at 2:45pm to check in. We were told that our room wasn’t clean yet as they were “half full” the night before and were still cleaning but it should be within 30 minutes. Well that was a lie! 45 minutes later we are still waiting for our room. Asked the front desk when check in time was and they said 3pm. When we asked about the time frame for our room the very rude front desk lady said she didn’t know and wouldn’t address that. I don’t know if anyone “important” or in management reads these but your customer service really sucks!

We went to the Thursday night pasta bar. It was delicious as usual. It was super busy bit the pasta cookers worked their butts off and the wait wasn't bad. Great happy hour food specials in the bar. The tap beer is pretty expensive. I wouldnt get another tap beer there but the food is excellent.

They have an AMAZING restaurant connected to the hotel! The rooms are also very spacious. I'd recommend to anyone.

Parts are old, and new. Probably one of their new highlights is reopening the boiler room bar first Friday of each month. It feels like a night club and not just a bar. Hopefully they keep organizing it better, no high end beer, no wine in the boiler room bar area which is why only 3 stars. Music is good, but sounds like they play the same songs all the time. DJ means things should be live. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good time there, just can see it being a bit more.

Very salty french dip. However, the chicken was very good. Had to refill our water ourselves once. We went between lunch and dinner. Have been here before and burgers were above average then.

Sub standard. — a one star rating is one star too many! I have been in the travel industry for almost thirty years, this hotel is probably the worst I had the displeasure of staying in. This hotel is simply disgusting, I seriously doubt it could pass a state health department inspection. The rugs in the rooms are old and filthy, the linens are old and disgusting, you wouldn't want them touching any exposed part of your body, there is no fresh air in the rooms, there are no outside windows, the AC is old and loud, in many rooms you will be sharing the bed with bed bugs, the sinks in the bathrooms are slow to drain, a broken shower faucet almost cut my hand, after complaining to the hotel representative it appears that instead of replacing a couple of dollars worth of plastic faucet, the broken plastic faucet was filed with sand paper instead of being replaced … The internet is beyond slow (average of 2.4 Mbps during low customers usage time)

Its the worst place iv ate at ever poor service. Bad cooks every time I went there we won't go back there we will go up town.

Needs to find good help, had to switch rooms as 1st room was dirty, no attendant for breakfast so ham was cool and no eggs or coffee… Glad not staying more than just one night.

I always have a good time staying there for work the workers there are ever awesome, I enjoyed my stay with you guys.

Had a family reunion at the Minervas restaurant. Treated very well and with having multiple of people, all orders and drinks were kept straight with no confusion. The waitress did very well on all levels.

It was a bit outdated! My son liked pool area but floor needs some gripping so people don't slip and break something! More amenities would be nice like fridge and USB ports would be nice!

We went to the Minerva's here for the Mother's Day Buffet. We had a larger group and a reservation, the wait wasn't too long. The food was kept fresh and full. Overall it was a delicious experience. Would recommend.

The hotel needs updating. It is overpriced for the condition of the motel. The staff at the desk was great. The staff in the restaurant were bad at best. Screwed up two orders and had the bill messed up.

I have only been in the event center. The food was good. The two bar had a wide variety of drinks. How ever most of the beer was Light beer.

It's always nice and cclean when I gget there. Weven have stayed overnight as well and was happy with the room. The event staff did a great job at a very large event we were attending. I would ccertainly use them!

Had a good experience at the best western in Watertown. Attended a conference and reinstall were clean and comfortable. Food wasn't great but it was ok.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Only down side was that the bed was a little hard and sink and shower drained slowly. Overall happy with the stay.

Front desk staff was very helpful. There is no elevator so you have to haul your luggage up the stairs but it wasn't too bad. Rooms were clean. Price was a little expensive.

Had to move rooms a couple times because if heater issues. Overall not too bad.

It was unique to say the least to have to yank up on the door handle and slide the keycard through and 8 times out of 10 not be successful! This retrofit for locks is a thumbs down. The place is HOT. We put our unit on "high cold" and turned the thermostat to the coolest setting and the temperature never seemed to drop. Woman at front desk gave me very inaccurate directions to the city trail system, which is practically directly behind the hotel. Ice machine? Forget it. They do have bagged ice at the front desk, though. We took great strides to prevent water from spraying all over the floor in the shower to no avail. No elevator. These are things that an older hotel really can't fix. Clean, comfortable, affordable, and the noisy AC unit completely drowned out the ruckus going on outside our room a floor below in the open area where drunk folks were climbing up the bannisters. And not the people going to Sturgis, either! Eh. It was an adventure. After all, it's the unexpected that makes the best memories!
