Not bad. Quiet and pretty clean. Shower sucked though. 4 inches backs up within 30 seconds and toilet took 3 to 4 flushes to do anything.

Lovely place! Staffs are super nice and friendly. Room service is highly appreciable. Would recommend it to everyone traveling to Vermillion.

I stayed here for few days when I moved to Verm first time. Excellent service at low cost.

Best place to stay, we stay here every time we are passing through. Exceptional friendly, helpful staff. Room is clean and the bed is just so comfortable. You must go there for a great experience, they have everything you need and want. Happy Travels!

I got some really good sleep there with such great service. Clean, comfortable and convenient. I wouldn't mind staying there again when I return to Vermilion.

Reasonable rates. Call hotel directly for best nightly rate. Across street from the Dakota Dome. 11am checkout time. House keeping will knock on your door at 10:50am to remind you.

Check in was smooth. Room was as expected. Parking was good.

You get what you pay for. The beds were hard and the sheets not the cleanest. All the outlets were used with no ability to plug anything without losing light or appliance. Found pillow stains on 1 of the pillows. The light switch had a bad short. Randomly it would turn off… not so good when taking a shower. Asked for additional towels and found out they had thick ones that they had tucked away. They never replaced the full amount of towels we had. The room smelled enough for me to get a room scent from Walmart. The hotel hallway is kept at a warm 80 to 84 degrees. A lot of the hallway lights were hanging on their last screw. Half the cost of any other hotels but at quality cost.

Place was pretty fairly clean just had some aroma in the building and could not figure it out. Breakfast was ok at best. Wi-Fi was excellent.

An ok place to lay your head for a night or two. The beds are pretty hard. Not many healthy breakfast options. And although their website says they're newly remodeled, it's still pretty dated.

The motel itself is "ok", however the holiday inn down the road is $20 more and far nicer. The rooms themselves are sufficient, though there was very obvious water damage in our room caused by a leak from one of the rooms above. Didn't look serious, more like a fluke tub overflow or something along those lines. Nothing a little fresh paint and putty couldn't have fixed. Next however is the service. First there were no extra blankets in the room whatsoever. So the couch bed had but only a sheet. Not a big deal, I'll call the desk to get some towels, come to find the room has no phone. Ok no problem, it's the age of cell phones anyway. I'll go walk up there and ask. I do so, the lady looks at me in the eye, says nothing, then walks away. I followed her tentatively and she did lead me to the laundry room where she did provide a single folded blanket. I accepted with a smile and let the kiddos have that and the comforter off the bed my wife and I were sharing. As I sit on the bed and open my laptop to finalize some work for the day, I work remotely for an it firm, I see there are literally 4 different wireless networks for the hotel. I called the front desk (with my cell phone) and asked for the Wi-Fi password and which one to use. First issue here is the gentleman who answered the phone simply said "hello" as opposed to using a standard greeting with the name of the hotel so those of us who are a little introverted know for certain we've called the correct establishment.

I had a excelent stay at the Hotel Prairie Inn. Very friendly staff at the hotel, good service at the booking and all over in the hotel. I will be Back.

I think it is very nice and if I get a nother chance I would definitely stay here again. Nice service and nice people, oh and they have good breakfast too.

As per the previous reviews, this place needs basic maintenance and updating. We also noticed the funky smell of bad cooking throughout the hotel's halls, thankfully not in the room. For the 3 people that stayed in the room (2 adults and a 17 year old boy) there was ONE set of towels in the bathroom. Not counting the used hand towel that was on the floor under the sink. The toilet was loose. The walls are thin and 2nd floor room was next to the door leading to the stairs and people were coming in and out all night. Not a big deal except you could hear the door every time it opened or closed right through the wall. For $90 I don't think it was worth it.

Room was clean, & good size, bathroom was larger than most. The bed & pillows left a little to be desired for me but maybe just right for some. Air conditioner work well & was not overly loud. Breakfast was the standard fare – and could have used some fresh fruit. Price was a little high (80$ after tax) for this time of year & location, I only saw 2 other people the night we stayed 5 July 2016, room 218. And yes, if we need a room in Vermillion we would stay there again. Last time we stayed there was about10 years ago.

Severe lack of outlets, unable to connect to Wi-Fi consistently, when connected noting speeds under 1 MB/s. Holes in sheetrock, broken vending machines.

I was very disappointed. We have stayed at this motel in the past and have been very happy. It has been over a year and I feel like there are some very basic upgrades and maintenance that should have been addressed and have not been. (loose toilet in the handicap room, power strip for outlets in the room)

Good quality for the price. For a cheap nights stay our room was very clean and front desk staff was friendly. Would stay again for the price.

Good for the price, shower was not the nicest but other wise nice hotel.

Great room for the price. Clean bathrooms with granite, flat screens, and clean carpet. Connected to great little bar and bowling alley.

The hotel had a bad smell throughout the lobby and halls, like stale cooking. Our bathroom shower had mold in the walls and on the shower curtain. One of the wash cloths had blood stains on it. We couldn't get back into the hotel at midnight after our late dinner. The front door was locked and the side door's remote card access didn't work. We had to ring the doorbell several times before someone came to let us in. The breakfast was so-so, more or less typical of a cheap hotel. But they had run out of napkins. How can you run out of those!? This hotel USED to be much better. Not so much anymore. We will try a different hotel next time we go to Vermillion.

Clean, quiet place, very up to date with flat screen tv's and fast Wi-Fi. Bonus: hotel lobby is connected by inside breezeway to a nice lounge and family friendly bowling alley. Our 3 year old daughter had a blast when we showed her what real (non-wii) bowling was.
