We loved our "mini-moon" stay at Summer Creek Inn! Clean, quiet and beautiful all around. The breakfasts were delicious. We will return!

We had our wedding at Summer Creek Inn. It was absolutely beautiful! The BnB housed some of our guests. They were all impressed by how awesome it was! The ceremony site was beautiful and the reception tent was gorgeous! It was the best day ever!

Nancy & Dan are warm and gracious hosts; the Inn is a beautiful and tranquil place amidst the beauty of the Black Hills. Get the breakfast!

Nancy and Dan have a beautiful home that they share with their guests. It is absolutely beautiful and they provide a fabulous breakfast! Dan is also an excellent tour guide. If you want a lovely place to stay to enjoy South Dakota, you cannot pick a place better than Summer Creek B&B!

Don and I very much enjoyed our stay at Summer Creek Inn! Not only was the room nice, the entire facility is beautiful with lots to do. We also spent a couple hours visiting with the owners which was very nice! Breakfast was great! We loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting The Hills or just needing to get away!

The house was wonderful it had everything you could want. Breakfast was delish! We had breakfast outside in front of a fabulous water fall that is on the property. It is just a great place to stay and relax!

SummerCreek Inn was our first experience with a bed and breakfast. It was amazing. Our room felt like home not just a hotel room. The breakfast delicious, ground where beautiful with flowers. Summer Creek Inn was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary getaway. Secluded from technology was just one of the several reasons I loved our stay. Dan and Nancy were amazing hosts, so kind and accommodating and made a great romantic breakfast for us both days. The entire house and landscape was clean, elegant, and beautiful. This Inn is WELL WORTH the stay.

My wife and I had a great experience here. Our room was beautiful. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We were able to enjoy their in home movie theatre in the evening along with our own private tub that was right outside our room door with a great view. The breakfast is all homemade and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this to anyone!

This was one of the best "Get Aways", everything was TOP NOTCH! Our room was heavenly and so comfortable! Breakfast was wonderful… we were on vacation and the pampering of a delicious, home cooked breakfast was so special! Movie night with popcorn made fresh by Nancy and Dan, in the very comfortable media room with wonderful loungers! Such a special treat! We hope to return and enjoy that hot tub. Dan, Nancy and the whole staff went above and beyond to make everything "special"!

Wonderful experience at the Summer Creek Inn. Dan and Nancy were quite the hosts. Excellent accommodations that helped us stay in comfort and enjoy some of the niceties. The breakfast was wonderful. We had a Belgium waffle with fresh fruit along with scrambled eggs with asparagus, ham, shallots, and cheese, also including baby potatoes cooked in olive oil. Definitely recommend!

I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is! The owners Dan and Nancy are the most genuine, kind people who made us feel so at home and gave us amazing tips on where to go and what to see! The room, location and breakfast where amazing! The fresh baked cookies at night were the best I've ever had! I will refer all my family and friends to this B&B and we look forward to returning one day! I feel like we visited family thank you Summer Creek Inn for the best vacation:-)

We reserved Suite 2 for our stay in June. It was beautiful, clean and quiet. The attention to detail inside and outside of the inn was impressive. We had the breakfast on our second day and it was delicious! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon. Thank you Dan and Nancy!

Beautiful place and great location. The hospitality shown by Dan and Nancy is second to none! Awesome food, top of the line rooms, and beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back ourselves!

The room was amazing, the entire Inn looked brand new and was extremely neat and clean. Nancy and Dan were wonderful and helpful and breakfast was delicious! My only complaint was no Wi-Fi or cell service (we have AT&T). We definitely plan to go back!

We booked this place online and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Dan and Nancy were very friendly offering advice on places to see and eat. They are out in the country so really only two places close by and their food was okay but not outstanding. Whereas our breakfasts every morning was different, delicious and just the right size of portions. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. It was very relaxing and quiet. They spent time sitting down before and after breakfast visiting with all the guests. While we had no internet service through them we did manage to get service through our own provider. We would highly recommend this B&B.

Summer creek inn is a a beautifully landscaped b&b in the black hills. Located in the national forest next to a nice little meadow and between Pactola and Sheridan reservoirs. The location is great. I did photography for a wedding held here. The owner was pretty restrictive, telling the wedding party that the bride's maids and bride could only show up 1 hour before the ceremony started for photos. Neither groom or groom's men or any one else was suppose to be allowed to arrive more than 30 minutes before the ceremony. Luckily the owner doesn't own the road or the meadow across the way so I am able to do photography over there. The party planning appeared okay if a little restrictive, I cannot speak to the bed and breakfast part of the business.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Creek Inn & Spa. I have problems with most hotels because they often do not seem as clean as they should. No such problem here. The rooms are clean. The furnishing are in good condition. The owners work hard and go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be. The morning breakfast was always on time and a culinary marvel. This should be a 5 star not a 3 star Inn.

1. ) First day (two day stay) we arrived at 5:30 pm, the four of us needed naps before going off to Mt. Rushmore that evening, it was VERY warm in the building, I mentioned this to the owners immediately and Dan told me he just lowered the thermostat 1 degree, I thought great, now we can get a nap in. It NEVER cooled off but we suffered through it as we were all exhausted from the day's earlier activities. Arriving back that evening about 1:00 am the building was still VERY warm. It was a miserable evening! Owners admitted they were having issues with their AC unit and that this was the 8th time they needed someone to come look at it. Nothing was offered to compensate for this miserable evening. 2. ) Awful road noise from Hwy 385 just to the west of the inn. 3. ) Wish we stayed in Keystone, S. D. It is much more convenient and centrally located to all the local sights and events. 4. ) Small breakfast portions, like an appetizer but the food was exceptional.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite and beautiful getaway or a staycation like my wife and I did for Valentine's Day. Great breakfast, the hosts are super friendly, nice location, and a beautiful place!
