We're currently staying on the 5th Floor for the Ohio Celtic Festival. Although the room is spacious and clean, we noticed puddles of water around the toilet. We reported the issue to the Front Desk Friday afternoon. We returned to the room and noticed less leaking (but still leaking) around the toilet but new leaking in the bathroom by the north wall. We reported that to the Front Desk as well. It's now Saturday morning and the problem hasn't been resolved. We've run out of towels because we've been using them to soak up the water. I should also mention that it's not even 10am and we've been listening to hammering and banging in the room next to us to where we can't hear the TV. Good thing we woke up early… I don't have confidence at this point that we'll be able to walk around in the bathroom without having to wear flip-flops. We're hesitant to report the issue a third time because we weren't given an apology over the leaking toilet — We felt that we got attitude both times we reported it, like it was our fault. We won't be staying here ever again.

The hotel did not keep track that I paid for Friday and then went I sent my fiance to pay Sunday morning (I only sent him because I was not available to pay before 12pm) for the rest of the payment (Should of just of been 1 day) charged me again for Friday and Saturday stay. When asked when we could get a refund, mind you we JUST paid $314 in CASH, they told us 3-5 bus days to return to the card instead of just giving our money back in cash. The room itself was decent but the toilet paper was NOT a fresh roll, it was 1/4 a roll left when we first came in the room and the sink shot water out at us the first time we used it. I know the sink issue happened with another friend of mine too. The staff was friendly but still for the price we are paying per night, it should of been handled better. I've been in customer service over a decade and this is not how I would of handled the situation.

Only giving this hotel one star because I can't leave zero or negative numbers. The staff at this hotel is the rudest I have ever come across as a frequent traveler with my family. The rudest by far was the front desk manager, William. When we came the desk to discuss an issue, he was rude. When we said we would be calling the corporate number upon returning to our room, William stated that he wasn't concerned, as he was "friends with the owner, " and that he was "given this job specifically by the owner. " I have never been more flabbergasted at a customer services representative's response as I was in those moments. The hotel itself was under construction, with chalky dust and grime all over everything. There is no continental breakfast, no breakfast offered at all actually. The pool area was filled with a group of 10-12 completely drunk, rowdy adults that weren't watching their young children in the pool. The room itself was quiet for a few hours, until the plastered group of adults came back to their rooms and we discovered that they were staying on our floor. The group proceeded to party in the hallways, complete with children running and banging on the walls as they ran. We called the front desk and asked to be moved or the group asked to quiet down, and we were told that the rooms were all full, so we couldn't switch and that they were paying customers too. We will never stay at this hotel again. We love the Holiday Inn brand and always choose it if possible.

Didn't actually get to stay. Me and my husband were looking for a room for a couple hours of sleep as we were traveling late at night to attend in time for a funeral. The lady at the front desk could have just said that they didn't have a room available or at lease could have put a sign out saying so. So me and my husband have to continue on no sleep to the next state with me being seven months pregnant.

Very nice room. We will come back again on July 7th on our wedding Day.

Has been remodeled, staff is excellent Bill is concise, can charge your food at Max and Erma's to room hotel is high-end top of the line reasonably priced.

Very nice staff. Rooms are clean. Max and Erma's are in the same building.

It was a great place to stay and get away from your house and enjoy the pool and hot tub and the staff was very helpful and polite very good hotel to get away for the weekend.

They are updating the hotel. Should be finished in the spring. I didn't notice any disturbances during my stay. Very convenient when attending event at the attached convention center.

Lobby is beautiful. The rooms need some work but renovations are currently underway. Will definitely return.

This place was nice and the stay was great. I'd recommend this place to anyone. I didn't have a fridge or microwave in my room but they brought me one up with no problem. They even offered to bring a crib up for my baby.

Very nice. Attached to a conference center. Easy to get to — along I-71 between Columbus and Cincinnati.

Keurig in room. Pet friendly. Pleasant and friendly. Coffee in the morning in the lobby.

Loved it! Had our own Keurig in the room with regular or decaffeinated coffee as well as English breakfast tea and green tea. Nice front desk people, good restaurant in the lobby.

Huge rooms, comfortable beds, nice staff, very clean. Excellent place to stay!

Half a star if I could. I simply stopped in the parking lot to feed my 19 month old and consider whether or not I should get a room. Nosey employees felt I was a bad presence to the area, by simply doing that. So the sheriff was called to investigate the disruption. If I cannot even park and tend to my child for 15 minutes (given that it was late at night, and I needed a rest) I would rather NOT stay at this establishment.

Easy to get to… beautiful rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Bathroom was lil dated but nice… over all Id stay again.

Overall experience was good. Night staff super friendly. Lobby is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Decided to skip Max and Erma's because they're breakfast menu is small and a bit pricey. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Booked hotel because they are affordable and pet friendly. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because the bathroom was in rough shape. Sink faucet leaked all over the counter with each use. Toilet paper holder wouldn't hold the TP. No microwave or mini fridge but mini keurig was a nice touch.

Hostess and security guard were extremely pleasant! Cost efficient however no Refrigerator or Microwave in rooms. I had to call to have them delivered.

I opede there because it is located near the main road and when entering the hotel I liked the comfort and the environment.
The hotel is very modern and convenient and very friendly and efficient administration.
I recommend it.

Stayed here overnight before competing in a powerlifting meet. The staff was awesome, and the room was nice.

Convenient access from I71, nice clean room at a good rate. Adjacent Max & Erma's was a bonus.

First off the hotel was very very nice, the rooms where clean and the staff was nice. This Holiday Inn was probably one of the nicest and fanciest Holiday Inn's I have ever been to. One of the reason why we chose Holiday Inn is because of the free breakfast, so we can eat before we go. This Holiday Inn does not offer free breakfast, but they do have a restaurant inside. And this is why I only gave 3 stars. Sadly I could not find Max and Erma's to write a review for this location. But the food was not that great. Very plan and cheaply made but over priced. I had french toast and I don't think there was any sugar or cinnamon on it, it was basically a piece of bread dipped in egg!

Housekeepers like to steal things. Forgot 2 hats and when I called a couple hours later to ask if they could mail them to me, they are no where to be found after the housekeeping went through to clean. Didnt even take them to lost and found for the chance the owner could reclaim them. Will never stay at this place again.

Really nice employees and very nice rooms! The only problem that my boyfriend and I encountered was the BED BUGS! Yes the room that we stayed in had bed bugs. We stayed 2 nights and each morning woke up with 10+ bites all over our body. I called them today to just tell them about the bed bugs and they handled it very well! They are shutting off that room and calling an exterminator to try and get rid of the bed bugs. They offered a free night stay and I believe a refund for one night (not sure because I forgot) but overall very kind employees! Every hotel has their problems with pest so don't let this one encounter effect your decision!

What a great place! Shout out to Michelle Steel. Your friendly, professional, courteous, warm personality made the check in process very pleasant, thank you for making our weekend a GREAT mini vacation. Hotel is really nice, several amenities and a fantastic loop around it for a nice walk.

Had to switch rooms, first one was dirty. Pool area needs cleaned. Employees are very nice.

Very rude wait staff at max and Ermas which is inside the hotel. very over price hotel for what you get. watch The Maid staff, they don't change your sheets if you stay more than one night.

Great hotel for a wedding.

Sitting close to the midpoint between Cincinnati and Columbus, with little else along I-71, this beautiful hotel is an unexpected gem. And it's beauty is matched by it's hospitable, accommodating and friendly staff. Only 25 miles north/east of King's Island and the Lindner Family Tennis Center, out of the way of the tennis and amusement park's congested southbound hotel traffic, it was an excellent choice to stay after attending the W&S Financial Group Masters tennis tournament. The backside entrance opens up to a lofty 4 story grand lobby with decadent crystalline chandeliers, marble floors and rich leather furniture. The grand gesture was extended in the manner of the staff in our late-night check-in and to the spacious and comfortable double bed room and cleanly bathroom. The hotel offers a pillow service that allows you to choose a pillow from firm to feather that best suites your comfort needs. The shower was excellent; a washable cloth curtain and curved curtain rod gave space and sanitation while relaxing under the powerful, yet rain-like large shower head. Though no continental breakfast is offered, there is coffee in the room, and Max and Erma's restaurant located off the main lobby is a nice alternative. Good selection and quick service made it ideal for the traveler, especially when the waitress offered and equipped us with coffee 'to-go. ' Also for the traveler, pets are allowed, there's a gym, pool and a nice deck with weekend live entertainment.
