Made reservations 2 months in advance, and got a call 18 days before our arrival to say they no longer have a room AFTER THEY TOOK THE RESERVATION! TERRIBLE SERVICE, WHO DOES THAT?

Great prices, clean and up to date. Definitely recommend.

I booked a room June 22 King size bed non smoking for October 5th. Four days before the Three Dog Night concert at the Beltera Casino on October 1st the hotel called and informed me that my room was not available due to them booking others in it. I just don't understand how a business that books out rooms months ahead of time can cancel my reservation and put someone else in the room. I'll never call them again for a room, plus I found one a few miles away $20 dollars cheaper.
Booker beware!

They are rude, rooms were nasty for $280 for ONE night! Heard people walking and banging around ALL NIGHT! Beds were nasty.

One older women will make u feel very unwelcome always criticizing every move. Would not recommend until something is done about here.

I don't recommend this hotel to anybody. It needs some SERIOUS updating. My husband and I had to stay here because we was in town for work. It was disgusting and we felt very uncomfortable. The first couple nights of us having to stay here we bombed the room and ended up having to find another hotel 30 minutes away from work. However, even after the two days of bombing the room we just didn't feel comfortable staying at that nasty place. If you can help it stay away! There was always people sitting out the office getting drunk on a daily basis.

Basic motel, fridge microwave and TV … doughnut/cereal breakfast… room was clean. Freindly staff… should be cheaper though …

DO NOT STAY HERE — BEDBUGS! Stayed at this hotel June 23, we were only staying one night, so we thought we could deal with it. It was dirty, the room smelled musty and like mildew, when we turned on the air dust and dirt blew out of it. The chairs were so stained and nasty I would not sit in them or put anything in them. We got back to the room that night, I could not sleep I was itching all over, and kept getting up to make sure I did not have a rash, at 5am my daughter woke up and turned on the light, I looked down at my arm and there was a small bug on it, upon further inspection there was more than one, the bed was full of bugs. Bedbugs, we took the bug in tissue paper to the front desk and were told very promptly that there was nothing anyone could do until the owner showed up at 12 noon. I told her I was not staying in the room that long, she did not offer to let us switch rooms said again there was nothing she could do, my daughter and I left. My boyfriend was staying in another room with his son he waited for the owner but the owner did not come in that day. On Sunday we called and the owner would not speak with us, finally the owner talked to us and said he was aware of the issue and had searched the room and found nothing. He would not refund us our money and even went so far as to say we brought the bugs in from our home. This place is horrible the pictures on line are not up to date, the place is dirty and they don’t care about their customers.

BEDBUGS found in room! 5/5/18 Staff was made aware and said owners would contact me. They did not. After two days of trying to get ahold of the owners regarding this, they said they looked in rest of room and couldnt find any. I have pictures proving what we found I told them that. U cannot always “see” the bedbugs I told them. Nothing was done to correct problem. No pest control was called and no refund of my room was given. Staff was extremely rude and owners told me to go ahead and call the BBB and board of health and see what I can do to them! Wth… so unprofessional and just down right disgusting! I cant beleive that they wanted to do nothing about nasty bugs in the beds and challenged me to do something about it! I have and the board of health will be visiting u guys! Do Not, repeat! Do not stay here at this hotel! cigarette burns in sheets and rooms smelled also. Just a disgusting place to stay!

They have bed bugs! This hotel truly does not deserve one star. We got the room for one night, most of which we spent across the street at Belterra. The room was dirty, the blankets and sheets had stains and cigarette holes all over them unfortunately that was nowhere near the worst part. As we were packing up to leave what do we find? A bed bug! The front desk lady said we'd get a refund and she understood how disgusting that was and that a contractor had been staying in the room for several months before our stay and that we would just need to talk to the owner for a refund. However, the owner refused and was nothing but rude and unprofessional! Do not stay here! Even though I had photo evidence with geo-tagging, they are still denying it ever happened which is scary in itself!

Could have been less expensive. Clean is great. We were visiting friend at Follow the River RV down the road.

I won't stay here again. Hallways smelled like smoke, the reason they do, smoking rooms are allowed to keep their doors open while smoking to air them out. Hallways smell like smoke, but most importantly, smoke comes between large gaps in the door into non smoking rooms. So, if someone is smoking 3 rooms down from me, I am smoking too, a second hand smoke. All they have to do is tell them, if you smoke, keep your door closed, but no one does. Ladies that work here could fix this. Every night I lay down, just to smell smoke coming from the hallway into my room. I don't like that. They have the right to smoke in their rooms, I have the right not to have to smell it. My brother is a lawyer and we are talking about this. Failure to provide smoke free facilities They are hotels in Rising Sun and Vevay, Not to have to deal with this.

I stayed there 3 years ago, just like another review said" room smelled like a cigarette ", it did! I would have loved it otherwise. Please, remedy that, I hate cigarette smoke. A Few weeks ago, I walked in to get a price on a weekly rate as I plan to have 3 rooms for 4 weeks for a job, and the front lobby smelled like someone is smoking up front. I hated my 5 day stay because of this. When I get there next week, if nothing has changed, I will go across the river to KY to stay, I don't smoke. I don't want to smell it. Please, give me a chance to give you a 5 star rating if you fix the issue.

Very friendly staff, budget wise it was nice for the price, food near by and my husband was working 5 mins away.

Owners and staff are very nice but went to bed smelling cigarette smoke and woke up smelling it coming from the walls and rooms all around the place. We don’t smoke so it was very nauseating.

Hands down — the WORST place I have ever stayed. The room reeked of mildew — even my bag reeked of mildew once I got home. The sink in the bathroom was propped up by a random table leg… kudos to a creative maintenance man… We actually went to the lobby for their "breakfast" Get ready folks for coffee cake type rolls that had obviously been frozen and were de-frosted and mushy. This place is disgusting. Oh yeah, the shower… I was afraid to touch anything and standing on the stained mat grossed me out… there was a chair-type thing in the shower… no way in hell I'm sitting on that… was this place a former nursing home or assisted living place? It fairly reeked of death… NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT GO HERE!

We've been here 3 weeks, working for KU. Great staff. Convenient to the Casino, Warsaw or Vevay. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but I'd stay here again. Our room was clean and no complaints.

The lady working the desk was just wonderful. Very helpful. We ended up getting a smoking room instead of non. Room was very large & clean. However they are in the midst of remodeling. It was still dark outside when they started on the room across from ours. For the price it's ok.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. It was like laying on box springs and the pillows seemed nonexistent. For a stop over it did the job, but you get what you pay for.

The first room had a dead spider on the towel and a live one with a web by the trash can. And tge towel you put in front of the shower it was black. And stunk like cigarettes smoke and the second one stunk like must. I will no recommend this motel to anyone.

Not extravagant, but very cheap and very clean and close to the casino.

The rooms are great, spacious and beds are so comfortable. Their continual breakfast is wonderful, tasty pastries and hot coffee and nice cereals to choose from. Their staff is friendly and always will to help in anyway they can. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

It is clean and priced much lower than Beltera and they have shuttle service to Beltera.

Not sure how anyone could give this hotel even a 1 star. The hotel is set back in the 70's. Stains on furniture and carpet. Room smelled like a cigarette. Still trying to get the smell out of my bag. Sometimes saving a few bucks just isn't worth it.
