I really didn't expect much, based on the very low price (about half of other hotels in the area). I only needed a room for an overnight stay (not even time for a shower). I was pleasantly surprised by the "hardwood" floors (i. E. Not carpeted). The bed was clean and reasonably comfortable comfortable. Overall, better than I expected. I would stay there again.

Honestly, was coming there from Columbus with the worst thoughts. But, checked in on time, front desk girl Alyana was very sweet & took my phone call to let them know we were stuck in traffic. The room was very clean, updates done in room really showed. Paint job, new floor. We really just needed a roof over our head so the room got us by. Not worth what we paid really, but not terrible. Besides the rowdy crew next to us who kept setting off our fire alarm smoking it wasn't a bad stay. Sheets were clean. Water was warm. Check out was quick and simple. For the festival and or during Halloween for the prison (really only time to visit Mansfield Ohio) we would totally book with Motel 6 again.

The room was clean and meet our needs. The best part, however, was the staff. We were there with a motorcycle trailer and they accommodated us by allowing us to park in a way that was convenient and moved our room so that we had a visual of our vehicle, all without us requesting it. They just noticed what we were driving and asked if we would like the accommodation.

Clean and respectable. I stayed for three nights for a Honda Gold Wing Rally. Showtime was included, however it was only on for one evening. The front Desk had no clue how to solve the situation. Only clean the room once. Never reset the bed sheets. I stayed on the end of the building. LOTS of trash in the yard. HUM?!?! You would of thought that at least every other day the area would be police for trash.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke, poorly lit and bad security, and very evident that the room was not cleaned due to a burn hole in the sheets and a used towel still in the bathroom. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere. I travel a lot and this hotel definitely goes down on the worst 5.

Room was beautifully remodelled in the latest style. Since there were no fridges and coffee makers in the rooms and all that junk that no-one needs, the motel can charge less. Water was very hot. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Key card on door didn’t work, had to go to desk to get new cards to try to get in with no luck. Finally an employee had to unlock the door for me. The water faucet in the bathtub would not shut off and had been running long enough for a large brown stain to form in the tub and mold to grow around the faucet. TV remote didn’t work. Beds and other furniture appeared to be new.

Not Excellent, yet not terrible, very much middle-of-the road. Inexpensive, but be prepared to get for what you pay for. No microwave, fridge (Can live with that) but no alarm clock, coffee maker or even a box of Kleenex. I would stay there again, based on price and location with the hope I'd get one of the remodel rooms next time.

Very run down… Staff nice. I won't stay there again. Was duscusted paying 100.00! A night. For a dirty broken room. Out dated old small tv. Hard bed, flat pillows.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. Had a very good experience. I'm a traveler with the IBEW and I will definitely recommend my fellow travelers and friends.

This motel has a very tired feel to it. Carpet old and frayed, but mostly clean. Glad to have a fridge and microwave, even though the freezer compartment had no door, and everything froze! Would probably stay here again, given the location.

We lost our car key ans since we were 12 mins past check out we were told we will not recieve our deposit. We were also bit by bed bugs. I do not recommend this hotel.

The first non-smoking room reeked of tobacco smoke. The second smelled bad, but at least not of tobacco. In the second, we found a broken false fingernail and a hospital-style bracelet on the bathroom floor. One of the two bath towels had large black marks covering about 20% of its surface. Minimal hot water. Evening attendant was sick and coughing everywhere, and could not realize that a Canadian did not have a "state" — she put my city of birth as my state. She also demanded to be given my PIN number rather than pass me the terminal. Also refused an extra pillow or blanket, saying there were none. How about one from an empty room? If I had not been absolutely exhausted, I would have been out of there. In the last two weeks, I have stayed in Motel 6s in Coos Bay OR, Bakersfield CA, Springfield MO, Dale IA, and Albuquerque NM, and all have been decent value for money spent. Mansfield should be razed to the ground as a health hazard. A full refund and a written apology would seem to be the absolute minimum recompense for this travesty. I must add that the manager did contact me, explained that they were in the process of upgrading, and gave me a full refund.

Clerk didn't grasp that the room was booked through Ohio Farm Bureau and questioned me in a somewhat surly manner. Initial room given to us was marked as a non-smoking room, but someone had obviously recently smoked in it. After I walked back to the office to request it, we were moved down two rooms to one that didn't have the smoking odor but still didn't smell real good. Very spartan conditions, even for a Motel 6. Soap for bath was the worst I can recall getting at any motel, very unpleasant smelling. No shampoo provided. BIGGEST complaint: just because you CALL a tea towel a bath towel doesn't make it one. We got ONE decent-sized bath towel, but the other was so small and so rough I suspect it was actually a floor mat. Anyone running lodging of any kind should be ashamed to furnish a room in this way. We will not return to Motel 6 in the future.

The location was excellent. The room was very spacious need and appeared clean. But the room smell like urine. The staff was just okay. Not extremely friendly by any means. I would not choose to stay there in that location again.

Very nice, good comfortable bed. Appreciated the microwave and mini fridge, good rate. the downfall was the floors (carpets) were not clean, the bathroom area had long black hairs on the floor, a soap wrapper was on the floor in the bathroom.

They use recycled toilet paper which some people like myself are allergic to. No plug for the bathtub, gap at bottom of your door to go outside. Toilet kept kicking on to run. Faucets dripped. Bed was uncomfortably hard. Tv had minimal channels. You can hear every car on the highway. But hey it was bedbug free, clean room, friendly staff when you seen them. And at least the heat worked in this motel 6. And it was in a good location.

Only complaint was the condition of the room… I understand they are in the process of renovation. Would like to visit again after the remodel is complete.

The staff were not friendly, carpets were filthy, the faucet handle was loose and the light over the sink would not come on, outlets were not working, it was overpriced for what it was. I would have stayed 3 months if all those things would have been working and they would have given me a better deal, I stayed a week instead, The place had not been maintained in 20 years it looked like. The TV was from the 90s.

O stars would be more like it. Drug central check local paper usually in once a month or more. Manager will lie to your face and not rent to you if he doesn’t want to and corporate does nothing but try to get you to stay in another Motel 6. Never give them my business again. Daughter and family were refused because smoke detector went off in a smoking room from a vapor cig. Fire Dept. Called and did not come. Manager lied said they told him he could get sued if he rented to them again. I called fire dept. And was told they did NOT tell him that. However he has people there renting out there rooms to housekeeping and Bob Evans to get high on breaks. The only reason my daughter stayed there is no vehicle and needed to be close to work. They caused no problems just needed a place they could afford and get to work.

The room was so dirty I was able to write in the dust on the tv. The bathroom door clearly was punched in and repatched. The towels were not fillled and overall I feared for my safety in the non lit parking lot. One of the worst experiences of a hotel ever in my life.

I wish your room had a frig and a microwave. I had to throw away my leftovers as I could not refrigerate them, nor could I heat them up. Everything else was fine though and thank you for asking my opinion. Lindsey.

Holes in the bedspread and sheets. Asked for a non smoking room, got one that stunk like smoke. Hotel needs renovated! Mold in the bathroom.

The hotel was old and pretty clean but pretty out dated. The biggest problem was that we had two non-smoking rooms and although an oxidizer was used, the mattresses and pillows still smelled like smoke when you laid down on them. They needed to replace all of the mattresses and pillows and the air filters in the air conditioning units to make me believe it was really a non smoking room.

We recently stayed in a Motel 6 on Hester Dr. In White House Tennessee. We stayed in smoking room so the smell was somewhat expected. The stains on the both bedspreads, one of the beds had hair on the pillows, the light switch by the sink was sticky with grime was not expected. We were left with less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no refill in sight and no tissues. Next overnight stay for us will definitely not be at a Motel 6.

Terrible. A Tenement Slum. Room was damaged Filthy and smelled foul. Very worn. Lots of cigarette burns. TV remote had been chewed up by a dog. Any positive reviews on this place would have to be fraudulent. Beware this Hotel. It was a last minute stop for me. Should have just slept in my car. All I was looking for was a clean hotel room for the night. Got a little sleep sitting in the chair in the room because the bed did not look fresh and then I left. Oh, the chair was broken too. Did not even bring my belongings in. They were safer in the trunk of my car.

Will never stay again my husband left witch I believe they thought we both left 2 mins later after he left this girl drove over flying parked and ran into our room she had a key idk if she wanted to rob us or what she saw me I was like wtf are u doing and got in her car and toke off we called said we wanted our money back they refused and he said it was my wife she didn't know anyone was registered to the room but when my husband checked us in she's the one who gave us the key idk maybe she thought we was loaded or something bc we was driving a Mercedes Benz and my husband had nothing but 100z on him and they tried robing us idk will never go back.

Room may have been clean, but there was No shower curtain, No bath mat, and I was only given one body towel, and one wash cloth (No hand towels). When I called the front desk about the missing items I was told that they do Not have extra shower curtains and that I could switch rooms if I wanted to — — — IT'S ALREADY AFTER 11:30pm and I was already settled into this room. Worst customer service i've ever received from a motel 6 — — I stay at them all the time!

Absolutely disgusting hotel! Dirty, nasty, smelly and generally gross. We did not stay. It was the worst place I have ever seen.

It gets 1 star but should be — 1! Bed begs will carry you away. Dirty, nastiest motel I have ever been in.

Staff refused to provide new bedding after a spill, force to sleep on wet blankets. Vending and ice machines did not work. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting.

Only reason I give 2 stars is the front desk personel was courteous and professional. The rooms were pathetic. Bathroom floor cracked, toilet not properly bolted to the floor rocked back and forth when you used it. Ordered a non smoking room but the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Furniture was broken. Remote didn't work The motel lobby smelled like an old cigar.

We checked in late and the girl at the counter was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and everything worked. There was plenty of free coffee in the morning and a couple of chairs to sit in and enjoy it. I felt I got an excellent value.

7/12/15 This is the worst motel I have ever stayed at. I stay at inexpensive motels all of the time. Upon check in things looked ok. The staff was nice and helpful. Got my key and went to my room (420). The door was stuck but I was able to open it. The carpet was disgusting, dirt and full of stains. The bathroom door would not close. The toilet you have to hold down the handle to flush. The toilet rocked. Tub was dirty. The bed near the wall was broke and had a metal rod sticking out of it. I ask for a non smoking room got and I got a smoking room. Upon check out I informed them of my issues. The response I got was call the manager when he is in. The desk person was unable to print an invoice with my total. (receipt was blank with motel name. ) I went to website to send them an e-mail about my stay, the website doesn't have a customer comments page. I don't like to leave public reviews but if you go to stay here go some where else. Manager still has not returned my call. 7/13/15 Update: I have called the manager at this morning, and I was promised a return call. At 6pm I called the corporate number where I was put on hold for an hour, and I still have not talked with anyone. The amount I was charged was more than my reservation through Expedia. I am now going to contact Expedia. 7:00 PM I have contacted Expedia and have told them of my experience. They are going to investigate.

I am a construction electrician and I travel on occasion. I stay at motel 6 when ever I can because of the consistency and cleanliness. I am never looking for ammenities, just a clean and comfortable room. The room I rented was a far cry from what I expected. The bed sheets had holes, the bathtub drain was full of hair. The biggest problem I discovered the next morning… bites all over my legs. This motel is no better than the cheap flop houses.

Old, decrepit and dishonest. Reserved on Motel 6 site, got confirmed rate. Motel charged an extra $2.52 or so for undisclosed safe charge. I objected at checkout and manager said OK we'll cancel that, but what about your pet? What pet? We have none, invited him to look. He said he'd been patrolling and saw some dogs. I don't know, why stay with a sleeze.

Disappointed in the way they price the room we checked in on Wednesday and paid $46.00 which was fine but we stayed another night and they charged us more then double $90.00 apparently there weekend rates go up and it starts on Thursday I thought the weekend starts on Friday. WOW! won't stay there again the inly reason was for our yorkie puppy but all in all the room was decent only thing was the bed was on a make shift frame out of four by fours and we had to keep fixing it I was mainly unhappy with the price the next day staff was friendly.

Bad found bed bugs in bed nd the manager wouldn't give me my money back I would not recamend anyone stay here very unprofessional.

Room did look just like the picture. I placed a reservation on the internet and aske for fridge and microwave. Once I checked in I was told the king room does not have fridge and microwave and I would have to go into a double bed room. I have food with me and thats not what I wanted.

Considerably overpriced for what you get. Pool is closed in July, no fridges in the rooms. Musty smell in the room. Only enough towels for one person. The staff was pleasant and friendly.
