Review of Berlin Grande Hotel 2*

I loved this hotel. Stayed New Years Eve and New Years Day. Their website does this hotel justice. Right on with the amenities and even extras. Had a room with a king bed very very comfy. Very clean room with a balcony overview of the country side. Beautiful site during the day looking over amish country, the farms and their houses, more beautiful at night with all the lights, could see the Christmas lights from afar. Front desk operations staff very friendly and helpful with anything that you needed. Manager was on site each morning during continental breakfast, talking with the guest, asking how are you, and how was your stay. Best continental breakfast ever had at any motel or hotel. Awesome to have coffee and cookies w/lemom water (which is the best) tea and fruit in the lobby area at all times. With it being new years eve all guest were having a wonderful time in their rooms and down in the pool area. They even let folks enjoy the fireplace and flatscreen TV's in the lobby and breakfast area, so many different things going on, people playing cards, doing table puzzles, playing board games, dominoes, reading, just really good quality time. Got to meet a lot of people from different places enjoying the Christmas and new years holiday. Lots of folks were enjoying the Ohio State Buckeye game against Alabama Crimson Tide, GO BUCKS! WON NOT DONE! Salt water pool and hot tub spa was great. Maid service excellent. I specially enjoyed sitting by the firelace and had some quite time. I do plan to return in the near future for a get away stay! Will be shopping in amish country and eating some good food, and staying at the Berlin Grande. Will for sure recommend this hotel.
