Attend the Quilters Gathering this last week. I was eager to stay at the Berlin Encore. However, was sadly disappointed. The rooms were smaller than I expected and no color. The sink in our room was cracked. We had to keep our clothes in our suitcases because there is only one small drawer. Our first day there we had no room service because of help issues. We looked for a pen and paper and none was found. Our bath linens were like using a brillo pad on your skin. On a positive note… fireworks were awesome, cookies delicious and a very nice breakfast. We understand this establishment is new and I know you will be making improvements. One more suggestions… we went out the back doors to load our car and there is no ramp for cars. Thank you.
We just checked out of this hotel and I have to say it’s beautiful and I would stay here again. Our room was extremely clean and they gave us fresh towels and soaps each day. The breakfast was the best free breakfast I’ve had at any hotel. They had the typical pastries, scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. I would definitely stay here again.

New hotel Encore is very comfortable with great beds and pillows that don't permanently bend your neck forward. They are the right size. Modern fixtures and good design, everything contributed to a good stay. And the Amish Theater adjoining the hotel was terrific. We'll be back. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. 4 and a half stars, not just 4.
