Cleveland South High School class of 1971 reunion had a perfect experience with venue, food, staff and hotel stay at Quality Inn (Richfield, OH). Eddy Frangie helped coordinate our wonderful reunion event. He was very accommodating with all of our needs that was perfect for a 2 day event. The staff assisting with our reunion and front desk were all very pleasant and helpful. Hotel rooms were large and very clean. All attendees were also very pleased with everything. I highly recommend this location for an event/reunions and/or room reservations.

There are bedbugs and dirty bathtubs curtains full of fungus and those that serve the front without some bad malcrias. I try and also there is never anything clean and it sucks here I leave a photo of the chichas.

I don’t recommend this hotel for no one today was my last day as I housekeeper.
It have bed bugs that curtains are with Fungus and also that staff are really rude that Mexican is races with Puertoricans she said we are not professionals because she doesn’t like us she is very unprofessional also that hotel smells really bad also they don’t have a lot stuff we have to buy cleaning stuff from ur money sow that hotels and that room smells good cause that smells is really sick 😷
And they don't change the sheet from the top, they don’t never washed and they never changed they and there's a room in the 100 something I dnt remember that room number but that Bathroom is Liquiating water from the roof.

A great, accommodating staff and beautiful rooms with all amenities in them. Very nice atrium and a great place for a large event!

Comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice pool area. Has an indoor playground and putt-putt golf. Would be nice if they hid ant traps out of sight not where you can see them when using the pull out sofa. Good breakfast. Hotel shows its age when you look closely. They have great rules about noise and guests only in the pool. Nice stay overall.

Lots of stuff for younger folks to do. As clean as you would expect from a decent hotel. The people in the room next to us started playing music fairly loud at about 1 am, the front desk staff promptly too care of the issue when I informed them. I liked that the bathroom sink was in the bathroom, unlike at some hotels. Good location closer to highways and restaurants/attractions.

The hotel is adequate. I was surprised there's no elevator. Also, the double beds are just not big enough for 2 people. There's a large play area inside along with an indoor pool. The pool is nice enough, but kinda small and a little cold. The kids liked it. The hot tub was sad. The jets were almost non existent. Breakfast wasn't too bad. I'd probably stay again, but not for the price I paid.

Been here before this time was for a little getaway. To enjoy the pool which was great and we had the grandkids with us. And they love to swim so it was a great time for all, and cheaper than putting in a pool because of 3 days of 90 + weather. Our total number of visits 6 mainly 2 day events. Each event has been for 2 nights great dinners and breakfast. Caterer by the hotel. Rooms have been clean and comfortable. Would do it again and recommend to friends and family.

Our non-smoking room and hallways smelled of smoke. I think filters in the AC unit need changed as it was uncomfortable with having slightly asthmatic lungs. My child was also wheezing, and he also usually needs an inhaler once a year or so. No towels at pool. Other guests brought their own and commented they'd stayed there before so were prepared. Staff was friendly and helpful despite our exhausted and stressed family being a bit frazzled. Room was okay, old building but fairly clean. Pool and play area was just excellent for the kids however. Can't complain too much with the very reasonable price for this quality though.

We had a great time for a 10 year old birthday party and had booked 4 rooms for our group. Things were fine, until bedtime, when 2 of the 4 rooms had bedbugs. Our rooms were in the atrium and room 248 actually had 8 bed bugs, (yes, we counted), and being so grossed out, I didn't even want to check the 2 rooms in the middle. We did report it to the maids and also reported it to the front desk with a cup of dead red bugs for proof and it has been 2 days since I were a little getaway and I have still yet to hear from anybody from the hotel. So I have never commented on a place I've stayed except I think this is worth people knowing so it doesn't ruin your daughter's birthday party.

This hotel is certainly in need of remodeling and a visual make over. However our family LOVED our stay! The indoor recreation center had a pool, kiddie pool, putt-putt golf course, corn hole, and arcade/game center. Considering the very reasonable price we paid for our stay, the stay was a success! The breakfast was modest in its stock, but the food was good. It consisted of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, French toast, juice, tea, Coffee, dry cereal, and some bread items (bagels, etc. ) The public areas and room are generally clean. The only detractor is that the decor, hallways, interior are quite dated. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Activity Center was a hit with our kids (age 9 and 3)

The room was very nice and they did give us an extra blanket the balcony waa nice but very hot to sit on due to the air conditioners blowing the heat the hot tub was very hot couldn't sit in very long but it was nice and the kids enjoyed it. The breakfast wasn't the best everything was empty when we got there at 830 and they had buckets in the dining area. But was a good stay for what we needed.

The service was good. The rooms were clean. They have a very nice indoor pool area which includes a children's pool and a hot tub. They also have a nice arcade area and a couple of indoor children playgrounds. The breakfast had room for improvement. They had typical breakfast foods such as sausage patties, french toast bagels and cereal but the food looked a bit unappealing.

This place is super cool. Hot breakfast, 2 swimming pools inside 1 outside! A put put golf area (play for free) slides and play equipment, ski ball, full arcade, win tickets to win prizes, beds are super comfy, nice hot showers, flat screens, only downfall is you have 14 steps you have to climb to get to the attrium (pool gulf play area). Super kid friendly. BUG free super clean place… prices are cheap I paid 206.00 for 2 nights here. I will be returning! :)

So many amenities, but a little run down, and could be a little cleaner. The playground was lots of fun for my daughter. She also really liked the pool.

Awful. Absolutely filthy! Couldn't even bring ourselves to tough it out for the night. The room was so dirty, from coffee grounds all on top of the microwave to junk jammed in the top of the coffee pot where you would dump the water. The hot tub was broken. The ground and sides of the pool were slimy, my daughter actually slipped coming out of the pool and hurt her foot. Thank God we were able to get our money refunded. Please learn from my lesson… It isn't worth it to save $20. An extra $20 brings u into a whole other world of hotels. We went to the Hampton inn. Had a wonderful experience, clean, friendly and a awesome breakfast! Hope this helps someone in the future!

The door that connects us to the other room will not shut and lock. Its broken. That's a HUGE security concern. The other connecting room come come right in. I don't feel safe having my kids in there. We let them know. I'm waiting for resolution. The pool and atrium is nice so that's at least a plus. Its extremely loud so I'm hoping it isn't tonight for sleep.

The room is nice, the bed is pretty comfortable too. Hot water is hot so that is always a plus. Very quiet. I'm extremely happy with the room and all around experience.

Always very nice and accommodating. Very clean and great guest services. I have been to this show for years and there is a very high standard in this hotel! Thanks go out to staff for being consistent with the quality of your personal performance.

Swimming pool and hot tub are really nice. Lots of things for the kids to do. Mini golf course, swim, play ground, and an arcade. I rate this hotel 3 stars because of the rooms and service that was provided by the afternoon shift worker. The first room we had the heater did not work and when you turned the heater up the lights flickered in the room eventually shutting out all together. Had to mess with lamp to get it back on. When I asked for a new room and explained why, the worker literally throw the keys on the counter towards me. I asked where the room was as he turned around and walked away. Extremely rude. 10.00 charge for roll-away beds when free in most hotels. Over all nice stay cause the kids had a blast. If your not worried about service or having a good room, thins is a great place for the kids.

My husband and I stayed for two nights for an event we wanted to attend. The upsides were the catered lunches and dinner were superb, the pool/rec area seemed really nice (although we didn't have time to enjoy), the rooms had nice mini-fridges and microwaves, and the bed and bedding was comfortable. However, the room was in poor repair, and our bathroom was filthy. Our sink and our tub were both clogged. The tub filled during my five minute shower, and took 30 minutes to drain before my husband could shower. The toilet only flushed if the handle was held down through the entire flush. The room was either hot, or cold… there was no in between. Our stay was deeply discounted because group reservations were made. Had we independently reserved and stayed, we most likely would have requested a partial refund.

The room we initially were put in was in need of repair. The heating unit did not work (in February) and the toilet and shower were not working properly either. It took 2 calls to have maintenance come look at it while we waited in a room that was around 45-55ish degrees. They ended up moving us to a new room which was not as out dated and had working heat and toilet/shower. I did notice the hair dryer did not work in the new room and I had forgotten mine at home. The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed as there was a lot of guest that weekend. The pool and other activities in the atrium were awesome. With the number of events being hosted that weekend it was hard to enjoy some of the activities without constantly bumping elbows with other (very drunk) guests. The breakfast was fantastic; not your normal bagels and cold cereal continental breakfast. They served a hot buffet of eggs, sausage, diced potatoes, and French toast. They also had bagels, muffins, English muffins, and cereal available. They did seem to serve the same breakfast each morning but that did not bother me as it was very good. Overall I have mixed feelings about this stay. The broken room was a big downside to me as well as the fact that it took two request to have maintenance come and look at it. However, the staff did move us to a much more comfortable room.

OLD & COLD — the rooms are clean, reasonable rates. Staff is friendly. Common areas are very cold. Even where they serve a hot breakfast, it is very cold. Breakfast is decent. It's the same EVERY day: eggs, potatoes, sausage patties, French toast, plus coffee, juice, cereals, breads, sweets. However for a free meal with your room, can't complain. I got it through a third party which was even cheaper than Wyndham Rewards. I'd stay again.

Great staff. Comfy rooms for an affordable price. Pools, hot tub, game room, FAST (unlike most) Wi-Fi, full breakfast and phenomenal service.

Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, so nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Was staying for a con, and they have a great setup and layout for events. Edit now that trip is over. Some staff was helpful others ended up being abrasive or rude. Ended up sick after using the in room coffee pot.

We stayed at Days inn for a convention. I'm not going to lie. This isn't a dump but definitely worn down. Room was clean but the bathroom was falling apart. In general the hotel has seen better days. But there were some good things. Breakfast was pretty good. Most of the staff was nice. The hotel concierge was great. He drove us to the store. Pool seemed nice. I probably wouldn't stay here if it wasn't for the conference. The worst part was my wife got sick from the in room coffee pot.

First off, this is not a fancy place. The decor is clearly from the early 90s — think old-school Applebee's minus the flair. Having said that what it does have going for it is an excellent staff, decent public spaces, respectable"Ball room" space and a unique pool area. This is my third time attending a convention at this place and found it well suited to the event. It is a small venue for such an event but the layout of the place makes it feel larger. I would certainly recommend this place for other such small events so long as you aren't expecting modern decor. One issue I did have was the on-site restaurant wasn't operational. It wasn't an issue since the convention brought in local food trucks.

Stayed at Days Inn & Suites in Richfield with my teenage son and his soccer team for a nearby soccer tournament. Great place for the team to hang out, have some fun, and relax. A bit outdated, but clean.

Terrible experience. Rooms were filthy and covered in ants. Very deceiving considering how nice the lobby and front building are. Window in our room was cracked from one end to the other too, just a disgusting place.

For the kids (the only reason I'm giving more than 1 star) this was a great end to our cross country trip, as well as a great beginning on our way back. Beyond the arcade, play structure, and pools this place was terrible. The first time we arrived (August 6th 2017) really late and were very sleepy so we just went to bed, we decided to book this hotel again on our second half of our trip and made sure to have ample time for the kids to play (September 6th 2017. ) There were NO towels in the room, none by the pool, no soap in the bathroom, the tub couldn't be changed out of shower mode for the baby to bathe, the light in the bathroom was very testy, the staff was INCREDIBLY rude when checking in, gave only 2 towels when we asked for some to shower. We requested more (5 people) and were met with more rudeness, same when asking for towels for the pool and took over 30 minutes to get them. The staff in the morning was pleasant and indulged our super talkative 5 year old, was a nice change of pace from the evening before. We were thinking we'd book this hotel (twice) on our yearly trip but it's honestly not worth it.

Staff amazing, the pool area is legit the best. They have kids stuff for miles and a hot tub only for adults. The arcade is perfect for the 3-12 crown and the adults once night hits. Rooms are small, but if you're here you'll be in the pool area, it's the entire draw of this hotel. 8/10 for fun with average clean and 10/10 staff.

After searching for a metaphor, my 14-year-old son said, "It's as if a dead mall were a hotel. " It's a pretty apt description. We found the rooms to be acceptably clean and the mattress was excellent. The bathroom was old and dingy, and the AC unit smelled of mold. Outside the room, things were more surreal. The pool, kiddie pool, and spa took up only a tiny piece of the atrium. The rest was open space with a putt-putt area, playground, abandoned restaurant spaces, and the saddest little arcade in town. There was an almost post-apocalyptic feel to the whole property. The hot breakfast was impressive, with real eggs and hand-battered French toast. However, there was no carbohydrate for gluten free guests: no cheerios, no oats, no yogurt, no fruit. Upon check in, there was no flexibility in room type, despite availability, and an upgrade of $30 was expected to change room types, which would have brought the total to more than the much nicer Hampton Inn next door. I suggest using this hotel for only a short overnight stay.

Extremely clean, extreme value for the price! Stayed here for a few hours to sleep close to the toll road. Wasn't sure what to expect for a "hot" breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised with scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage patties and potatoes. Didn't take time for a swim, but the pool area liked clean and inviting. Would definitely like to stay here again!

I love this hotel. Stayed 3x amazing people. Love the pool/play area. My kids always have fun at days inn richfield. We tried many hotels in ohio before this and we hated them. Amazing hotel amazing people and an amazing free breakfast.

Was forced in a smoking room. Traveling companions room was infested with bed bugs. Old hotel with no option past subway out side the hotel bar. No cell service in the bar. Delivery options were pizza or Chinese. My room was old. Desk chair had cigarette burns in it. Air-conditioning vent looked like someone cleaned a muddy tennis shoe in it. Paint coming off the walls in the bathroom. Minor desk staff was very friendly. Manager was trying too hard to make up for a poor property. Room numbers were printed on paper cut out and taped to he doors. Not enough free drinks to make this one look better. I understand that I have high standards when it comes to hotels and this confirms why. I am still coughing up smoke! This is not a hotel but an emergency shelter that has been left neglected for years.

Was a alright hotel. Huge place. Don't think the price is worth what they think it is. Clean rooms (need little work) no fridge or microwave in my room. Really nice breakfast and huge indoor place for the kids to play and swim. I would stay again if I can use my points to sane money. Seen they want 399.00 on weekends… THATS JUST CRAZY. Another problem was I booked smoking room on Wyndham and got there and is NON smoking hotel. I wasn't happy at all about that. If non smoking don't offer smoking rooms.

I really wanted to give this place two stars but after considering our stay and some of the comments and how this place has not cleaned up their act I will rate this place with one star. We stayed at this place this past weekend and while we don't have children it would of been nice to use the pool and hot tub. But I guess it was closed down due to renovations or a wedding not sure since the reception looked like it was taking place in the kiddie area. Our room was decent, though our fridge was not plugged in and neither were the lights, the electricity did not work in the bathroom thank goodness I packed my own blowdryer. The tub was so slow to drain I had to turn it off because it got up to my knees within minutes of entering the bath tub. The Wi-Fi was horrible and could not get connected. If you looking to stay here and need to do work please look somewhere else. The staff was decent and no real complaints there though no real effort was made to make a customer happy after complaining about lack of electricity and unable to blow dry my hair (he did say we could go to another room to shower and blow dry our hair but what was the point of that when we were already showered and my hair was blow-dried). My husband and I went to enjoy the breakfast but found out that they start it at 7 on Sunday mornings.

Front desk staff was great! Breakfast very good. Wifi did not work for me, I had trouble connecting, not sure if the problem was me or the system. Room had an odd scent like air freshener.

Lobby was nice which fooled me into thinking this old hotel had been remodeled. The lobby was as far as they got. Our room (212) was musty smelling and the bathroom looked barely wiped down. The pool water looked clean (the smell of chlorine was very strong) but the pool deck was dirty and there was gunk and hair accumulated in the floor drains. They did seem to be working on parts of the hotel, but might be a long time before its all updated. They do accept small pets which is why we chose it.

Room had a strange odor the eating area was too close to the swimming pool and smelled of chemicals. Beds were comfy tho my wife and slept great great rate too 20 to 40 cheaper than next door.

Really nice place for the money has indoor and outdoor swimming pools and kids little pool play areas for the kids mini golf little arcade free hot breakfast that was great for free.

Would love if they would provide a full kitchen for a family that loves to cook or for people that needed to stay longer.

It's a old holiday Inn holidome. Has a pool hot tub and mini golf in a large space. Largest space of its kind in the Cleveland area.

I love the indoor pool and activity areas but, the rooms could use some serious upgrades. I has three rooms for a party and some of them did not have mini fridges. But the price is right for a late fall/winter break without traveling to far.

WI-FI is the pits here. I've gotten better service and stronger signal @ a $40 creep n sleep. Came here to let my son swim. Nice rec area. Needs updating.

Tube television over heats and smokes, awful smell in the lobby, game room old dusty and smelly, rooms advertised as "balcony" just has another door to the lobby. Front desk person absolutely awful. Not personable or helpful and seemed unaffected to fire hazards and faulty electrical in rooms. One of the worst experiences of my life.

I am confused why there are so many mediocre and negative reviews on here. This place really gives you some bang for your buck! Free mini golf, pool, ping pong, and a nice, clean, deep pool. And the free breakfast! There were 4 hot plates of food. We've been on the road for 5 days, and this was by far the most impressive breakfast. The room itself was very nice. I guess some of the fixtures were probably from the 90s, but only because the owner invested in durable and pleasing ones. We asked for the cheapest room with one bed and got a king bed with a bonus couch that I think was a pull out.

This place was a nightmare I checked in to my first room the light didn't work n the sheets was nasty I went to tell the lady I want a new room she said let me talk to my manager about a new room so than she gave me a mother room n that room didn't have heat or hot water so than I asked to talk to her manager for a refund n she said she will be in on Monday so she lied to me. I really don't no how there still open. The celling was leaking n bad customer service every time I went down stairs to ask for something the lady was on the phone with a friend this place needs to be torn down this place is a hazard to anyone.

Went here for New Years was a great time nice rooms good food will go back.

This was the worst so called "kid friendly" vacation I've ever taken! The hotel could use an upgrade. The rooms were ok. The Wi-Fi kept kicking us off, there isn't food in the area for miles, and they have no menus to order from! At ten o clock when my child peered out the curtain to the pool, she seen adults doing things they shouldnt have been! I left and drove back home an hrs drive with two kids. The play area was so dirty, the arcade didnt have air conditioning so the ten minutes we stayed there were crucial on a 91 degree day. The pool was the only clean thing. This is not an attraction! I will not be returning.

Absolutely hated it. Room was out-dated. Beds were comfy I guess. Morning breakfast was good. Were told that we get free breakfast, but were given these tickets. There were 3 of us, staying for 3 days, and only received 4 of these tickets. Free breakfast my butt. Pool was okay. Mini putt was so worn and out-dated. Ping pong rackets were worn. Putters were worn and out-dated. Internet connection was veryyyyy poor. I would have to sit in a certain spot in the room to get the connection. It was just bad. It's not run by Days Inn, its just owned by Days Inn. The company that runs the hotel is not doing a very good job.

Been going to this hotel for the past 6 years for my niece birthday party. I would agree with past post that this place needed alot of help. Just returned from staying over night with my wife and son for the party and it was ok. It is not the Ritz Carlton but a basic days inn that is a little dated. But what we payed I can not complain they had a free breakfeast buffet for the first time. So take it for what is a 80 dollar room with a indoor pool (alittle cool kids did not mind) and large play area.

This was the Absolute WORST hotel experience I’ve had in my 27 years of living. I booked this hotel because I thought it would be a good place to have my son’s 3rd birthday party. It had a kiddy pool, putt-putt golf, a jungle jim and large sitting areas. So I though it would be perfect. Boy was I ever Wrong! The entire hotel reeked of smoke. The carpet was old and much worn. Not to mention that the hand rails looked like someone rubbed car oil all over them. It was very dirty and disgusting to say the least. When I booked this hotel I was informed by Shannon (front desk employee) that anyone in the Atrium had to wear a wristband if they are swimming or playing any games. I asked her if we come and just the kids swim and play the games did the parents need a wristband too. She said no they should be ok if they are just sitting there. OK that was fine I only invited about 5 little ones and I was given 5 wristbands when I checked in. So an hour into our party some guy named Roman starts yelling and disrespecting my mother because she was sitting by the kiddy pool watching her grandkids swim. He was so unprofessional that he never even told her who he was. All he kept saying is that you need a wristband to be here. My mother did not even know what he was talking about seeing that I am the one who booked the room. This guy was so incredibly rude and treated us like we were animals. But just to keep the party going we went and bought 6 wristbands @ $10 a piece.
