This hotel was disgustingly filthy. After living in this area for 25 years and finally staying at this hotel, I’m embarrassed to have this hotel in our community. Do not stay here! Attach is a picture of a gummy bear that was in the hotel lobby inside entrance that was there our 6 night stay. Lobby check in staff was on either their cell phones or sitting down playing on the computer every time I walked by when the hotel lobby carpet clearly needed swept days ago. It was swept one time during our week long stay. Poor gummy just laying in that same spot fading in the sunlight. Don’t be that gummy bear and stay somewhere else. There are three other hotels on the same street that are all FAR better than this hotel. Be weary as I think many of these high reviews are fake. There’s no way this hotel can get those high of reviews.

Pros: Great location, very nice breakfast selection and parking is well laid out and plenty of lighting. Bed is comfortable. Cons: The room was clean but hairs not belonging to me were in the tub, toilet and sink area. One hair I can forgive but multiple not so much. Lastly, when a guest is walking through the lobby and advises the desk clerk that a pillow case is laying in the entrance one would assume the young lady would put down her mobile device, promptly thank the guest and then come around and pick up the item. I walked by 3 times and finally kicked it out of the walking path to the entrance of the lobby… Last there is a safety concern of the children running and tracking water from the pool up and down the main access tole way to elevator where the rest of the hotel guests need to access.

There continental breakfast needs a lot more to make it desirable wasn't a lot of choices and what choices are were not good.

Great place. Very clean, everything is new and convenient. Great breakfast, very nice staff, comfortable beds. I'll be back in a couple months will definitely stay here again.

We are attending Jimmy Buffett concert and it was a great place to stay.

Better hotel than most in the area for the price. Offers a bar and grill affair with a clean and attractive lobby. Rooms are well kept and cleanly. Also really close to all the restaurants and shopping in montrose, and not far at all from the metro parks and Akron's other attractions, like Stan Hewwet Hall and Highland square.

Great stay for the price. I've stayed here 3 times now. Clean, modern, quiet and really close to the highway. Easy drive to Cleveland too.

Clean and appears to be recently remodeled. Breakfast was good for the Hampton Chain. Seems the walls and doors are cheap though. Very thin and hollow. Bathroom door hollow core as opposed to steel like most. Floors Creek and crack. Could hear every move the room next and above made. Hot tub has been removed.

Convenient location and pretty good breakfast included. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The main drawback was somewhat uncomfortable beds and minor maintenance issues we had (e. G. Entry light broken in one room or toilet issues in another room).

Only complaint is the fire alarm was dangling from the ceiling. Otherwise it was nice.

Very clean rooms and accommodating room and hotel. Ive only stayed one night down out of three so far. However, I have to stop immediately and compliment, Ms. Belinda who runs the complimentary breakfast in the morning. She has such a warm, friendly, sweet character and attitude (especially for a guy that doesn't take early mornings well). Let's not forget humorous. Not only did she keep an immaculate spread at the breakfast buffet… she made sure everybody was taken care of and smiling. Excellent work, Hampton Inn on hiring a five-star employee! Thank you Ms. Belinda on starting my morning out on the right foot!

The hotel was great! The staff working at night was pretty rude. Otherwise great experience and good breakfast.

Room was ready upon arrival, everything was clean and well maintained. My only complaint was a lack of seating in the breakfast area and a low supply of some items for breakfast. Overall a good experience.

It's a solid little hotel. Two treadmills which are decent for running, breakfast, and swimming pool. What more do you need?

Terrible got stuck in elevator on many occasions. Hot tub was as cold as the pool. Worst hotel I have ever been to. And I am a frequent traveler. The service sucked everyone didnt care about our complaints dont go there its a waist of your hard earned cash! :/
