It was ok. Miss in room coffee for sure. Everything in Cleveland feels shut down. Had to leave downtown to find humanity again. Where are all the cute boutique shops up here as well?

We just spent this past weekend there. A little get away trip. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Very clean and the staff was absolutely amazing. The only thing I guess I could complain about is the price of parking. Pretty expensive. Overall, very nice relaxing stay.

The rooms and staff are amazing!

The restaurant is an absolute joke. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, and frankly, a sixth-grade home ec class could have put together better meal. The gym was just barely average, and the front desk couldn’t be bothered. It was quite a disappointment. My job has me staying in hotels in N America and Europe, and really, management should be embarrassed — if they care that is.

Katie, Melanie and the rest of the team were the kindest, easiest people to work with to plan our 1/4/20 wedding. So grateful for the expertise of the well trained staff (doormen, desk staff, valet, wait staff, housekeeping and anyone else I missed! ) that made our weekend so smooth and gave us top tier service. Our guests raved about the gorgeous hotel, the price, and the location. And that it was dog friendly for our guests from out of town! This is a great Hotel, the staff and the concierge were very helpful I also enjoy the coffee in the Starbucks in the main lobby and the staff were very ostentatious and willing to serve oh, I had a great experience at the Westin and I will gladly come back again.

I'm a housekeeper at the westin and like my job u get to meet people from all walks of life and we have amazing housekeeping team no place is prefect but we do are very best to make our guest HAPPY so if you come to Cleveland come see me and my our coworkers. I was thrilled with some of the experiences at this hotel I wasn't aware of! However, there were a couple things that disappointed me. First, a ceiling tile fell in front of our room, and the smell was HORRIBLE. Of course I called down to the front. To report, and sat in the hallway so that no one could walk through. It took them 30 minutes to come to the room, I completely understand that they we're busy, However, when you call, and they respond someone will be right up, … I take it for what I heard. Right up. After calling because I thought maybe someone got side tracked after 25 minutes… the lady was very short toned and not nice. Second, we received the breakfast which was a huge delight. However, I have three girls with me, and we are in town for a cheer/dance competition. So I asked the gentleman at the breakfast area if I could use a tray, he was very professional and friendly. I started loading the tray with food for three girls. Cereal, fruit. Drinks, my coffee… and the lady that worked the breakfast area that morning decided to make comments about how much I was taking. Loudly. Apparently she was frustrated. If your employees are going to talk about a guest, they need to go somewhere a guest isn't able to hear them. I guess it would have been better for me to bring my girls up. And let them load food up. We normally stay here every year. I was disappointed this time!

Great hotel! Located in the middle of Cleveland's downtown area! Downtown doesn't have a lot going on so its a more quiet area. Not for you if you're looking for a lively location. The hotel itself is well decorated and has lots of space to hangout in the lobby: read a book, make a phone call, meeting place before your party goes out. The only bad thing I have to say is that valet is the only option to park your car and it takes over 20min to get it. They wouldn't get it if you called, you had to physically present your ticket and wait for it. Super annoying!

The hotel's property itself is really nice, with some rooms with a nice lakefront. The attached parking only works by leaving the keys to the parking attendants.
Too bad the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. In my room the sink was very dirty, I asked in reception to clean it but unfortunately no one did.
I made it to the check out and received an apology.
I find it anachronistic in 2018 to charge access to Wi-Fi, without offering a free connection service, we are not there.
Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant (a la carte) is full of savory dishes but with very little choice regarding dessert.

This was one of poorest customer service experiences that I have had at a hotel rated this high. We attempted to check in an hour after check-in began and our rooms were not ready for another hour. During this time it took almost 45 minutes to get to the valet to get the car parked. Valet tells us that the charge will just be placed on the room. When we go to leave the next day, we go to the valet to attempt to get our vehicle. After 30 minutes of waiting we check why it is taking so long and they tell us it is because they won’t get our vehicle until the valet ticket was stamped that it is paid! They didn’t tell us that when they looked at it the first time and it’s not what they told us when we checked in! Now, we have to wait 15 minutes at the front desk to pay (they don’t stamp it and we have to return to the desk again) get it stamped and then 15 more minutes to get our car! An hour to try to leave! We weren’t the only people have these same problems. Absolutely ridiculous! We had stayed here previously and loved it. After this stay, we won’t be returning!

It's a good hotel! Cozy. Not very stable works Wi-Fi on the upper floors.

We stayed 2 nights at The Westin Cleveland Downtown for a weekend excursion and to attend a concert over the weekend. Check-in was painless and the concierge were quick, friendly, and informative. We chose a king bed non smoking room. The lobby was clean and has seating near the desk. There is also a restaurant attached to the lobby, Urban Farmer, that we didn't eat at. It is, however, supposed to be one of the best restaurants for a steak in the area. Our room was clean and ready for us on arrival at 5pm. It was slightly muggy, but not uncomfortable when we arrived. We turned the air conditioning on and dropped our bags off before heading out to dinner After return from dinner it was noticeably less humid in the room. The room is nicely appointed with a full couch, desk and chair, TV, and of course a king bed. The bedding was freshly laundered and comfortable, with large overstuffed pillows. The bathroom was clean as well and had plenty of counter space for my girlfriend's makeup and various hair products. Ample lighting is also available throughout the room and bathroom. The hotel was quiet for the nights that as stayed, and we slept pretty well, though we're spoiled by our memory foam mattress at home. Also available was a closet and mini fridge, which were adequate for the weekend.

Recently stayed at the Westin for business. This hotel has a great location for any downtown stay, and also has a great view of the lake. Did not have much time for personal, but due to the location, I was able to walk to all of my meetings. Additionally, the restaurant in the hotel, the Urban Farmer, was great for multiple entertaining options, breakfast and dinner. Hotel staff was great, room was great, zero complaints. Will definitely consider for any return trips. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was mediocre, I suppose. It's a little on the pricey side for what you get. We had some rowdy neighbors but someone from the front desk rectified the issue. There were some minor issues with the shower not draining very well and the stopper in the sink was stuck. The light in the ceiling above the shower was falling out and flickering. The closet door also hits the light fixture on the ceiling. Also, internet access is $12 a day or so, which seems a tad ridiculous. The room seemed clean at first but then we noticed a fine layer of dust on various surfaces. The sheets and pillows were clean and the AC and TV worked.

It was a very nice & clean hotel & with great customer service, but it was just kind of standard. I just expected a little more thrill for the name. I expected a few more amenities for the 4.4 Stars, like maybe a pool.

We ate lunch outdoors at the Urban Farmer and the door was amazing. It was just a bit expensive but definitely worth it. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was unique and delicious.

Bathrooms are pretty but not the most practical (poor lighting, water flies out of the shower stall BUT there is a rain shower head! ). Rooms are nice sized and comfy beds. "Fridge" is only a drink cooler and doesn't get as cold as a fridge. Bathrobes are heavenly. The hotel itself is modern and beautiful but very dark lighting every where. Valet service is prompt and convenient (but is only parking available).

Very nice hotel. The lobby was well kept and impressive. Went for a gathering/convention and all was kept clean and orderly. The bar staff and other hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Attended a professional event here recently and it was a good experience. The facilities are clean and the decor is nice. The staff is kind and helpful. There was valet only at the event, but there are multiple garages and parking options nearby. Lunch was tasty and a good variety of options.

Great location. Comfy room. We reserved a king but got two doubles but didn't really care enough to ask for a change. Lots of parties going on which made for a fun group of fellow guests.

Very well kept hotel. The room is amazing. Comfortable bed and very nice sitting area. The most wonderful part is how thoughtful the staff is. There is a spot while making your reservation where you can make little request about your room. Not only did they make sure to put us in a room with a lake view but they gave a card because it is my boyfriend and I 1st anniversary.
I highly recommend this hotel while staying in Cleveland.

Great downtown location! The room was nice, the food at restaurant was good. They had a ample selection of beer at the bar. I loved the common areas. Overall I would recommend it to someone, and it was very close to getting a five star rating, but just a few things stopped me from giving it that last star (room service trays left in the hall for a full day, when we asked for bedding for the pull out bed in the couch they brought one sheet and we had to ask for the rest of the sheets, etc. ).

Dirty room. No pool. Starbucks closed. Valet does not take call ahead. Loud guests and thin walls. I have been to the Westin in other cities and expect a similar experience everywhere I go. This did not measure up to the Westin standards. I will say they had a very friendly staff checking in and a beautifully designed lounge and fitness facilities at least. We will not be back.

We recently stayed at the Westin following a wedding there. Our first room was absolutely filthy. When we first walked up to the door to open it there were several half empty wine glasses sitting outside the room. Pieces of cookie behind the chair, crumbs all over the carpeting along with plastic tags from clothes (clearly wasn’t vacuumed) and unknown substance (assuming makeup) all over the nightstand, hair covering the tile between the door and bathroom. Although we were moved to a different room it left a sour taste in our mouth and we were afraid to even sleep under the covers. For the price you would expect a clean room.

This hotel is nice, just not as nice as I thought it would be. My husband and I decided to stay here for our three year anniversary for a small getaway. On checking in, they didn’t have a standard king room available that we selected. We went through Priceline but still made sure we selected king bed. They got a little snotty with us since we went through a “third party” but the manager somehow found a king room available after the girl checking me in said there were none. The rooms on either side of us has barking dogs at 800. When telling the front desk “oh It’s an animal friendly hotel. ” What? A four star hotel downtown has barking dogs waking you up? Unbelievable. Also, you would like a hotel of this caliber would have rules. There were hooligans running down the halls drunk and screaming at 3am. What a relaxing anniversary weekend. I will definitely never stay here again and do not recommend it if you want and rest or relaxation. Terrible experience.

The bathrooms in the rooms don't close, and it's hard to share a room with 4 people because you can't use the bathroom while someone showers.

Nice clean room and great location. I wish there was a light over the dress mirror. I love the furnishing in the lobby too — comfortable and simply stylish. The only thing less than great is that, during breakfast at the executive lounge, I noticed a few chairs next to us with pretty dusty legs. But in general this is a great hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at Westin Cleveland Downtown. I was greeted with Platinum welcome and room was upgraded. The gym is excellent, sufficient equipments to keep you busy and burnt out. A well kept up hotel in a great location that happened to be cheaper than most of the surrounding hotels when I booked. No pool or hot tub. The blackout drapes worked well though and the heating was nice and quiet. The pillows were terrible though which I why I cannot give this hotel a 5 star rating. They are much too tall and firm so your neck is at an angle all night. It was uncomfortable enough to wake me from my sleep several times each night. Also, parking isn't included and is $30/night.

Great hotel. Westin is always a nice place to stay. Room service for a nice surprise bottle of wine from my husband went wrong. After over an hour of waiting (and getting late) my husband called the front desk to cancel his order-which is how I found out he was trying to surprise me. We think someone simply forgot. Well, within 5 Minutes of cancelling his order-there was a knock on the door. The wine had finally arrived. The front desk was apologetic and we all went about our business.

Very nice hotel. Our room had a nice view of First Energy Stadium, Lake Erie, and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Room service was really good and Glen, that brought it to our room, was very personable. Great place to stay.
