Stayed for 2 nights, room was never made up, no fresh towels. Paid 35 a night for valet parking, upon checkout and an hour into my ride home I realized that my glove compartment was empty, all inside had been stolen. Called the hotel to speak about the issues, was told that I'd receive a call back in an hour, that was 5 days ago, still waiting. This is crap that you'd expect from a Motel 6, not a Hyatt Regency.

It’s a nice hotel but ask to check in early and a Hyatt member. I explain how I drove all night for a band and they charged me 45.00 to CK in. They said the earliest I could check in without a fee was 12 noon.

A convenient and beautiful facility in downtown Cleveland unlike any other. Frankly, we will never stay here again! The wedding special event in the Antrim lasts until 11pm and it is loud. Not one to ever hate on a wedding but management should have advised us of the loud party that impacts every guest room and guest. Never again… Congratulations to the bride & groom!

This is a very nice hotel right in the center of downtown. Leave the car with valet parking and walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Freddy works in the 1890 restaurant is the greatest. He will greet you in the morning with a smile and "Good Morning! ".

Parking is less than ideal. The channel guide on the TV didn't work at all during my stay. Housekeeping didn't do anything at all. Would be nice if a hotel in a city with a Major League Baseball team offered MLB Network as one of the in-room TV channels. The room itself was nice, staff was mostly friendly and helpful, and the building (Arcade) is incredible.

Very nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the city and points of interest. It was a 15 minute walk from here to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There are several bars/restaurants of varying tastes and price ranges also within walking distance.

Nice place. Atrium was closed due to a wedding. Thought there were a lot of stores in the atrium as per the picture on the web site, but there aren't. Upper levels are rooms. Lower levels are stores, etc. Valet was great! Good staff, close proximity to bars/restaurants/local attractions. Rock n roll hall of fame is about 15 minutes walking, most other bars and restaurants are less than 10 minutes walking tops. Rooms are updated. Would stay again. Not one of the nicest Hyatts that I have stayed in, but good, and in a good location. Having said this, I don't know what this is, but I will bring it up to the check out desk in the am. Looks like mold spots in the bathroom in room 318. I'm only staying 1 night, so it doesn't really affect me the much. But it should be checked out.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful! I can't say enough good things about them! That's about where the good ends though. I stayed 4 nights on the most uncomfortable hotel bed. An air mattress would have been better than a sack of springs right under my back. Thankfully, I had two double beds to myself, so I was able to take all 8 pillows and lay them out to sleep on. That helped a little. The elevators were big enough to fit a luggage cart. That's about it. Same with t…he hallways right outside the corner rooms. Thankfully one of the other guest rooms was propped open, because I had to use it to maneuver the cart into my room. The elevators also require a key card to call the elevator, and to select the floor. The property itself is pretty neat, but if you come in from the north side of the block and you have bags/cases with equipment like me, you'll have to take one elevator to the lobby level, and another one to your room. Yeah, the lobby's on the second floor. Several of us got harassed by security coming in around 8 PM. Most everything was closed and I was busy working one night, so I ordered the 24/7 grab and go-style room service. Definitely not worth it. I got overcharged to the tune of around $7, and had to haggle with the front desk twice over the charge. Hope you didn't drive either. It's around $30/day for the valet-only parking. Though it's the same way at most other properties.

Stayed there to run the Cleveland marathon. Originally, my wife and I had requested two beds. The front desk was trying to push us into a room with one king size. When we asked for a quiet room the clerk said that would be the room with the king bed. We took it but couldn't see how it was quieter than any other room. We could hear the people next door and several doors slammed throughout the night up and down the hallway. Beautiful hotel and arcade but not many businesses. Breakfast voucher was for 1 but we had 2 guests. Valet was helpful and fast. My biggest complaint is that they wouldn't give us a late check-out. I wanted to shower after running but they said late check-out wasn't available.

Unfortunately this is the worst Hyatt I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and kind. The building is old, but beautiful. The Valet was convenient and easy to find. The rooms were clean and a decent size. However the bed… was the worst bed I’ve ever slept on at any hotel. The pillows were horrible. My husband and I are both in pain from our one night. We’re actually both thankful that we don’t have to stay another night. Hopefully they can upgrade the beds/pillows/linen to make this Hyatt live up to its name. Next time we’re in town we won’t stay again.

Great location doesn't next to some of the hottest restaurants in town. The arcade atrium puts a variety of shops just outside your day and makes for a unique environment. It can get a little noisey during the day with the shoppers though. Water pressure is great in the bathrooms but the beds have super thin comforters so make sure to order additional blankets. Also the suites don't have great desks for working in your computer and instead provide couches with movable side tables, not ideal if you need to do work out of your room.

We ate the snow and it was good.

Rooms were elegantly decorated and extremely clean. However they were very small for the king size bed and there was no fan in the bathroom. Only one window opened in the room and it had no screen. Our room view was the parking garage. Customer service bellhops all other perks excellent.

I am a fanatical fan of Hyatt, and it’s “unbound “ collection but I found myself consistently disaspointed in the lack of conformance to brand standards and basic service practices. The hotel rooms were appealing but the lack of housekeeping was a big turnoff. My wife arrived a day early and check in to our room. She showered upon awaking and after lunch met me as I arrived After traveling all morning. I chose to nap for a few hours in the afternoon, 1-3pm. And as a consequence never had the room cleaned, never got clean towels, never had the trash emptied. When we called for towels we returned after attending the wedding at the hotel, to find a stack of towels jammed onto the bathroom vanity and all the dirty towels still in the tub where we left them. The overflowing trash cans still chocked full or garbage. At the reception servers were passing cold — not hot mushroom caps … which were meant to be hot. The bartender didn’t know how to make the featured drink a classic Nanhattan, or a screwdriver? During the wedding servers had no clue how to serve, with some guest they used there right hand and served frim the left, with other guests they served food from the right side with the left. They cleared the table in a similar chaotic methodology. But always with their thumbs in full cobtact with the food surface of the plate. Water was a scarce commodity all night. At the morning reception the plates were filthy clearly not washed correctly or proper wiped.

The arcade is absolutely stunning, and the room was beautiful. We stayed in a king bed arcade view. There was a wedding going on the night we stayed but was given plenty of notice to change rooms if we wanted. The wedding was a lot louder than I was expecting, but it ended on time and didn't run late. I will definitely stay here again.

This is an older building. Which means you get the quirks that come with old buildings. Half the hotel rooms are off a central arcade. Which includes small shops, salon, and hotel quality restaurant. They host events in this arcade. Like weddings which we were unfortunately dealing with. Rooms off the arcade are loud subsequently. Very loud. Wedding went until 11 pm. Room was not very clean. Had an issue with sanitary situation that I won't go into. Hotel staff was accomodating and provided compensation. But the room was not clean. Architecture of the building was very cool. Location was good in downtown Cleveland. Not far from sports stadiums and casino.

Turn of the century classy. Many shops, salons and restaurants and accessible without leaving the premises although there is so much within walking distance to experience. Clean and up to date rooms with just about any amenity you can imagine. Excellent place for events or just an overnight stay.

The Arcade itself is beautiful and classic. Everyone I encountered from the staff was pleasant and offered good customer service. Location wise, whichever entrance you come in you'll be near restaurants and stores in walking distance on the street. If you feel like walking further it takes about 15 to 20 mins to get to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The arcade itself has great restaurants too… Pizza 216, Cathy's (ice cream shop) and Rising Star Coffee shop. As far as the room, mine was fairly large, had nice big windows and overall it was very quiet. I was there for 5 nights and I loved it.

Fantastic hotel. Just all around great. It is definitely the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. Just a little noisy at times with certain functions in the arcade but it is worth putting up with for such a great place.

Location is great, but that's all I can say good about it. My room was cramped and VERY loud. Because of the set up of the hotel (rooms are on the outside perimeter and center is open and looks down upon the the shopping center) everything echoes. You can hear everything — people walking, talking, yelling, doors opening and closing. Don't stay here if you actually want to sleep. Also room service was delivered in a paper bag — sandwich and fries were in a plastic container and the fries were cold.

Service was good. Very kind. My time was short but good and the room was clean.

Older hotel that’s been recently renovated. Located in the middle of downtown. 15 min walk to Rock and Roll hall of fame. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was courteous and helpful! The room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfortable! It was the perfect weekend getaway!

What a fantastic experience. Our room may have been a jewelry store, or amazing boutique at some point in history, now a guest room with a less than effective blanket. I am willing to look past the unfortunate blanket and half hearted turn-down service and still give this place 5 full stars for the atmosphere at this magnificent hotel.

Spent 2 nights this week at the hotel. I had high expectations, as I carefully selected this hotel to spend my 50th birthday. Your website says you are "pet friendly". I saw nothing about a fee, but upon checkout Iris at the front desk was less than nice to me about it "yes mam, there is a $100 fee per stay" "did you tell us you brought your dog". I have a 12 lb poodle. From your website: "Pet friendly: Bring your furry best friend along for some pampering, too. Dogs 50 pounds and under are welcome. " I booked our reservation online, I saw nothing about paying a fee for my dog. We arrived around 1 on Monday, Jan. 22. First time there. I walked in on the Street Level. There is a sign that says "Hotel Lobby" near the elevators… but there was nothing around except a pathway closed to the public. Quite confusing. I finally decided to get into the elevator… where I found the Lobby level to be up one level. Better signage would have been appreciated. I received 2 keys to our room. I went back out and met my husband who was unloading the car with the valet. After we finally got our key to work in the elevator we go to the 8th floor, but room 830 is no where to be found. Hmmmm… I was sure that's what she said. So, my husband goes back to the lobby… Iris tells him we took the wrong elevator, we're in the other side of the building, "she tried to tell me", she tells him. So, down we go and across the "arcade" to the other elevators.

This hotel is right downtown with tons to do with a short walk 1-5 minutes. Restaurants, casino, and sporting venues. The room was great upscale and large. The inside of the hotel is an older building with tons of great character and architecture. Great price for the location and quality of the room.

The hotel was nice and everything, room was lovely, but as far as an deposit, I never got it back. Going on 3 weeks and no sign of it. Manager kept telling me it's my bank but no sign of it is in my documents. To top it off they also charged my card $40 more than what my hotel total price was. Never again.

Really cool hotel. Lots of history and character. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean every time I've stayed there. I highly recommend staying in floors 2-4 with views into the arcade. Amazing!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Service is on point at all hours, day or night. And the location, perfectly located downtown with so many things to do in walking distance. No need to drive, Uber is a great option if you don’t want to walk. Or the valet will bring your vehicle around promptly, your choice. The spa located at the hotel is Marengo Luxury Spa, which is also phenomenal with some nice packages at some great prices. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Don’t forget to check out Mabel’s BBQ on 4th Street, it’s maybe a 2 minute walk!

I picked the hotel for the convenience of being downtown and attached to stores… however they were all vacant. The staff was nice. However, I was given a handicapped room… and I did not reserve it, I didn't need it. The hotel was not full so I do not know why I was given that room. The room was not clean. As soon as I looked at the bed, it honestly looked like a 3 year old made the bed. I sat down and the bed felt like it was in pieces. I had two queens so I sat on the other bed and it was just as bad. I thought this was a 4 star hotel. When you are traveling all you want to do is take a shower and lay in a comfy bed. I showered in a huge handicapped shower which had water all of the floor when I got out and I could not sleep in a bed that was at least 10 years old. I did address the issues and they said they would take note of it… Great Thanks for helping me out. I will not return… nor would I suggest this place for business professionals.

We loved our stay! The staff are wonderful. The food is amazing. And our room was breath taking. Valet parking was the icing on the cake.

Beautiful building. Rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable. The cable was not working, so viewing evening TV was a problem. The early morning attendants at the garage and valet we're slow due to their interest in their cell phones.

My go to, first choice when visiting the city for work or sporting events. City view and arcade rooms are always fantastic. The architecture of the arcade makes the Hyatt the most unique in town. Staff is always fantastic and went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter with room service well after closing. Made her day! Cleanliness is always top notch (I'm a certified pain in the… on this topic). Location is walking distance to The Jake, The Q and local restaraunts.

I loved The Arcade. It was a gorgeous building and it was an excellent location. I'm giving the Hyatt a poor review because the shampoo in the bathroom was almost empty like it had been used. The tub had hairs in it, and when we called housekeeping about it they spritzed the tub and told us there were cracks in the tub, not hairs. When I went back in after it had been "cleaned" there were still about 8 hours in the tub. Pretty gross.

The hotel is a bit old … but quarterly rooms are remodeled … I didn't like that I tried to check out early and they wanted to charge me the day.

Good location next to E 4th restaurants, sport venues, and business locations. The hotel itself is old and dark. Rooms are pretty small. The ones on the lower floors have no view. Our room did not have a desk to work at.

Location was great, room was ok. Shared a suite with some family, but considering that it was 'newly renovated', there were a few small annoyances on the bathroom (water pooling on the floor and not draining, yellow stains around the sink and toilet). Staff was friendly and restaurant was good!

As far as "finer" hotels go this one is ridiculously awful. We came into town for the Cavaliers Game 7 festivities. Got to the hotel at 745. First unreal issue for my $240 room was the keys we were given wouldnt work to get us through to our room. Went back to other end of arcade, lady at desk blamed my phone for deactivating them only I had my phone in my pocket and keys in envelope in my hand all the way to elevator. She supposedly reactivated them. My gf and our kids waiting at other end of bldg. Once again keys didnt work. Took three times and 20 mins to get into our room and the game had already started. Took ridiculous lengths to get the Wi-Fi connected to a roku etc and another 15 mins. Missed the 1Q of the watch party thanks to incompetence. Worse… no microwave in the room for the teens food we brought for them. Had to order room service. This was 820pm and rs was avail until 11p. It never showed up for our teens. They called at 10 to ask and the woman told them sorry we will get it up to you. It. Never. Came. The kids didnt get to eat anything until we got back to the room at midnight and I was fortunate enough to get a pizza from a shop around the way before they ran out with 1000s of revelers all over downtown. I asked the front desk why we never got our rm svc and all this person could say was "well we didnt charge you for room service so that's good. " I replied "yeah but what about my kids not getting their food?

Beautiful hotel. Ironically, there's not much daylight in the rooms. The location is great, walkable to almost anything downtown. No Regency club lounge but the restaurant is good.

Was there as part of a bridal party for wedding pictures. This iconic Cleveland building is stunningly beautiful. The hotel staff was very cordial and accommodating, ensuring that passersby were not in our photos. If you're looking for a beautiful location for a photo shoot, this is definitely it!

I spent a lot of time in this grand old building as a kid and young adult. My father had a store in there and it was a thriving lunchtime mecca. Later, as a young man I worked at a couple places in there, and for a while I restored the antique brass framing everything. I hadn't been back there for 20 years. Definitely a unique place and worth a visit.

Let's start with the Valet Parking… What a delightful group of gentlemen, and so very helpful. The Hyatt Staff was also incredibly courteous, they made us feel very welcome. We had never been to the area before and they happily pointed is in the right direction and was always smiling. Our room was simply amazing, very spacious yet cozy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We went for our 26th anniversary. Eunise from the front desk was so nice and helpful. We went out to come back to a lovely note from her along with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a box if strawberry chocolates. It made our stay! Beautiful hotel. Close to shopping and dining.

Very impressed by this hotel! The rooms were just OK I would say. The employees though were nothing short of amazing! From the time you get there you are treated with courtesy and respect by every member of staff. Of all the places I have traveled I have never met such delightful people. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Cleveland.

We were in one of the newly renovated rooms on the arcade. The room was pretty nice, the shower was excellent and roomy. There was a loud wedding in the arcade but they warned us about it in advance and they did end it promptly on time. Hotel is very close to done good restaurants and activities. Would stay here again.

The hotel and the arcade are beautiful. The location is right where we wanted to be. We were walking distance from E. 4th, Quicken Loans Arena, and Progressive Field. The entire staff was excellent. I'm especially impressed with the valet staff who made any trip we took a delightful one.

Bell/valet service not organized. Could not get us a cab after we requested in advance. Ordered room service, but they forgot the chicken on the salad. The bath tub was stuck and could not use. Had to get engineering in room. Rooms are very cold. Had heat at 78 all night. Very disappointed in this Hyatt. Other options in Cleveland. Will not stay again.

Stayed here multiple times for work. Nice area, lots of local food and bars close by, helpful staff and very clean. But the water pressure in the "renovated rooms" pains in comparison to the old rooms, any rooms looking onto the "Arcade" side can be loud as its a public space.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency for a 3-day business conference. The rooms for both the conference and stay were absolutely perfect. We were served breakfast and lunch in our conference room and the food was great! The staff was always welcoming and pleasant, I have no complaints at all! Do know that parking is next to the hotel but it is not associated with the hotel.

I was not at all impressed with my stay. Do not use the automated check-in after dark, there was no security on the street level. While I was checking in, a random man approached me and started demanding money. Know what you're getting into with parking. I pulled into the parking garage for 20-30 minutes to stop for a moment at my room, and it was $10. Other than that, it is $25 per night if you park it yourself; it's more if you use valet. I got lucky and was able to expense everything for my business trip, otherwise I would have been livid from the parking situation. The room was mediocre. For the price, I have stayed in much better rooms for a lot less. — It was small — The heat only kicked on for 2-3 hours in the middle of the night — There were no outlets next to the bed for my phone — There was one outlet in an inaccessible point above the bed, so either you get both lamps, or you get an alarm clock. — Lighting was terrible. Only one ceiling light over the door, and only one lamp was on, so it was always dark. There's a Hampton up the street. I'm not sure how staying there was, but if you want the location, I would look into there first.

Beautifully renovate, located within blocks of most major attractions including arena, rock and roll hall of fame, and House of Blues. In the middle of great bars and restaurants, yet rooms were quiet. Staff was crazy nice and helped with linen allergies, horrid key system, and finding late night pizza. My only complaint is a note to management, not a reason to avoid staying there: please update the key system. Producing prettier keys does make the lock hardware better. Instructions about key pace shouldn't be needed. My advice if you are trying to get key to work: not too slow, not too fast. Complete motion firmly, but without a pause.

The staff is great. They were able to accommodate our large family with 5 suites. The suites are nicely decorated and the surrounding Downtown area has everything going on.

Stayed @ Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the arcade one night. It was welcoming friendly, beautiful, very cool close proximity to all events. Rooms very nice, clean and all staff very helpful. Other than no coffee in our room I would go back and see it all just didn't have enough time.

Location is a 10. Renovated room is the way to go. Staff was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I have had a few great experiences at the Hyatt over the last couple of years. Most recently, my husband and I stayed at the Hyatt a couple weekends ago and the staff and service were fabulous. When we arrived, we were asked if we were celebrating any special occasion to which I replied that we were there for a wedding, but also jokingly said, "our happy and beautiful marriage. " Later that day, we were given drink vouchers for 1890 Lounge for just that. All of the employees were so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. Just now, I got off the phone with Carlin at the front desk. My siblings and I reserved a room for my parents as a birthday gift for our mom and I made a couple requests. She was so helpful and able to upgrade my parents' suite for the night and provide services "in order to make their experience was great as possible for (mom's) birthday. " I am so grateful for the ongoing customer service and courtesy from everyone at the Hyatt. I would recommend the hotel to anyone for the above reasons, but also for the beautiful arcade and rooms.

Don't stay there on the weekends. Both Friday and Saturday nights they have private parties at the Arcade. Loud music is pounding until 11pm. No way you will sleep until then.

Clean and comfortable room, but for $150 a night I personally expected to have access to Wi-Fi and not pay 10 dollars a night more for it! Not Web surfing tonight.

Great hotel! We got an updated newly renovated room for only $5 more. Booked on Priceline for $112. King bed all new everything, very very clean and everything was brand new in our room, it almost looked like we were the first people to stay there! the staff was polite and no one bothered us. The only thing I did not like was the parking, $24 self park or $25 valet, either way much too expensive. The location could not have been better and I liked the fact that we were staying in a national landmark. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We expected more from a $300 per night hotel in a city the size of Cleveland. The room was dirty (bathroom grout moldy) and the bed was made up with the incorrect size sheets. We slept most of the night directly on the mattress. Nasty! The arcade looked beautiful inside but. Eerie, no one walking around at any time, the shops were not busy. It was like a ghost town. Also walking around at night just outside in the upscale restaurant area is pretty scary, lots of homeless people and few to no security or police. You could tell that the crime in this area is a problem just by looking around. I've felt much safer in downtown Chicago and Manhattan.

The main floor of the Arcade is beautiful. It is fun to know that you are staying in a national landmark. The staff at the Hyatt are very friendly. Our room didn't have a fridge, but the brought one in so that we could keep milk and juice in the room for our kids. They also gave us free Wi-Fi for signing up for their rewards program. On the downside, since it is an older building, some of the rooms that haven't been renovated yet have some older decor. Also, if you stay in the Euclid tower, then you have to use two elevators to get to the valet, and the elevators are not very large. Another problem we had was that because of the older ventilation system, our room on the seventh floor had a smoke smell coming in the bathroom, even though the smoking floor is on the 4th floor. All that being said, we got an awesome deal through priceline, so it's hard to complain about or be too mad about those minor inconveniences.

I had my personal property stolen from me which I then later found inside a maids cart. I attempted to make someone aware of this situation but was dismissed. I appear to be much younger than I actually am and because of this I am somewhat used to poor service but this has to be the worst hotel experience of my life. I have done a great deal of traveling in my life and have stayed at 5 star hotels and I have also stayed at 1 star motels in the middle of Appalachian Kentucky that costs $19.99 a night when I had to have my vehicle emergency repaired. For me to say this was the worst experience means it was in fact a horrendous experience. My room had used feminine products in the trashcan and there was literally a pile of french-fries on the floor. I stayed in one of the supposedly top rooms in the hotel, if this is the case then I would suggest not staying here and finding another hotel.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency over labor day weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, right off E4th and an easy walk everywhere else. The room itself is a little on the small side but the arcade is beautiful so its a fair compromise.
