The staff here is super duper professional.

Giving one star to this hotel is too much.
In my last stay they charged the wrong credit card. I called them when I was back home and the manager on duty — who was a contractor — Mathew Whistler — assured everything was going to be fine, took my information but he didn’t do anything. A couple of days later another manager on duty answered the phone, he finally acknowledged that he was going to send the correct information to Accounting (Ted Search). I followed up a couple of days later, Arnene, a lady on the phone laughed at me because I told her that the information she was giving was not accurate and that I wanted to speak with the manager on duty. The manager on duty spoke with me, Matthew, of course he was not informed, he was giving the wrong info to Arnene. No resolution to this issue. No communication within the hotel managers. Contractors that do not feel the responsibility of keeping a good customer service for the Westin brand.

Hotel looks great, but had to wait in a crowded lobby with around 100 other very angry guests. Something should have been done to keep everyone happy, but there wasn’t. Very disappointed I checked into my room 1 1/2 hours late and nearly missed my dinner reservation. $300 a night for the room I got in to too late to enjoy. Thanks Westin. First time, last time.

The noise from Fountain Square is on another level. They should be paying me to stay here.

Went to a party there. Nice atmosphere.

Excellent treatment from the moment at check in with the words "may I help you". First class service from the moment I entered the lobby. Received my room upgrade for my Marriott status and the room is phenomenal. So glad I selected this hotel. Hats off to the staff and management! Thank you for the special treatment during my stay.

Beautiful scenery didn't take any pictures but it was a lovely experience. Very wholesome friendly people prompt service nice restaurants and then there's just a lot of things to do downtown Cincinnati. The bed was so soft and comfortable I didn't even want to get out of it. The bathroom was big in the tub was huge I don't like the shower cuz it's Square how it comes down and you really can't adjust it but overall review of the room it was marvelous I give it a 7.

LOVE THIS HOTEL! We come to Cincinnati every month to visit and the Westin is one of my favorite hotels in the city. It’s modern, clean, and conveniently located in the town center. If you’re a bike person, bike rentals are a short walk across the street. I highly recommend this hotel.

I volunteered at a fundraiser for Big Brothers and Big Sisters at the Cincinnati Westin. The Westin offered up their building and space free of charge to help raise money for an incredible organization and cause. The staff at the Westin went above and beyond to help accommodate everyone helping out. I also stay at the Westin as a hotel guest on a pretty regular basis. The rooms are the most comfortable that I've ever stayed in. Always clean with out fail. The staff are always friendly. Top that off with the fact that they actually step up to help improve their community. Couldn't ask for a better hotel.

Nice downtown location. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms have nice amenities. The restuarant breakfast gets crowded and can take a long time, and it's not even table service. They need to come up with faster service for peek breakfast rush. The short order cook gets overwhelmed, and they have outstanding cooks, but they need more help.

I've always loved staying at Westins. I like the quality and cleanliness of the rooms, services available, etc. On this trip, unfortunately, the air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly and it had been a hot day. So the few hours we had to relax (before retiring) were uncomfortable and annoying. Eventually an engineer came & changed the filter. It still took 20-30 minutes after that for the room to cool down. A disappointing experience, considering it was a one-night stay and the high room rate we paid.

This hotel is very swanky. Beds are insanely comfortable, rooms are very nice. Bathrooms feature high end fixtures and a rain shower. Robes were super comfortable. The place was reasonably quiet. Pool area was on the top floor which lent itself to great views. No continental breakfast as far as I could find. Attached parking in the garage was convenient but not cheap ($34 for less than 48 hours. )

We were here 8 years ago, and The Central State University National Alumni Association held its Annual Meeting weekend here June 28 — July 1. Once again The Westin experience was second to NONE.
The entire time here in Cincinnati from start to finish was great! I have only good things to say about the Front desk, House Keeping, the food and service at our events, and all the people who served and worked with us to make our meeting the "talk of the town"! Thank you for providing a top notch experience for all of your guests and visitors to the hotel.

This is a super nice hotel. Like it most when we have a good view. Love the boudoir pillow, think it cost too much online though. It is right downtown on the square. There is an awesome little place around the corner to get falafels.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic staff. Great views. Walking distance to the river front / Newport, Kentucky. Had a well needed relaximg stay with my wife. Would recommend.

What an incredible hotel! You can't ask for a better location to all the major events in Cincinnati and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The only downside is that there is no free Wi-Fi. You have to pay $15 a day to get decent access at the nicest hotel downtown! Really?! Even so, the employees are gracious and helpful and I can't wait to stay here again!

The stay so far is going great. The staff is attentive to all of our needs. The rooms are big and spacious. Update: The pool was very dirty with hair in the pool and on the pool deck. The wooden chairs were also dirty. Everything else with this hotel was ok.

Right in downtown Cincy, just a stone's throw from all the major ball parks. The room (1336) was really nice. We had a huge rain shower head with a hand wand in the bathroom. The indoor pool/gym area was nice and clean. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The building is very secure so don't forget your card key. It was a bit pricey, but that is what happens sometimes.

The hotel was newer and in nice condition. Nothing was special about it except the location. It had some great views of fountain square. The staff wasn't rude, but didn't seem to care if we did business there or not. Not much effort was made to earn our business.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay although computers went down at check in which took about 2 hours but they gave us free drinks in the lobby bar. My husband had a begger ask him for money upstairs in the lobby while waiting on our room (he shouldn't have been able to get that fair into hotel) and the last thing was the shower head had calcium build up so not all holes worked and water pressure was really low. Other then those issues, the staff was awesome… Karen checked us in and was super sweet and helpful!

The room was always clean and the bed was comfortable for me, a little firm. The walls are a bit thin. I could hear the kids in the next room and while they ran down the hall. I thought the room service was priced a little to high so just walk to over one of the many nearby places. The entrance to the parking garage is a nightmare, be very careful if you have a large vehicle. Or just valet.

The rooms were really clean, smelled nice. We had a good view of fountain square, beds were super comfy. Starbucks coffee in the room which was a plus. The shower had a rain head and was amazing. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t take full advantage of the accommodations (pool, room service, exercise attire rental? ) but no complaints! Also, we had a complimentary extended checkout time on Sunday which was great, we didn’t feel rushed, and we were able to grab brunch and relax a bit before heading out.

I don't know how anybody could say anything bad about this place. We went in, and the person who assigned our room was so nice. He even made sure we got the best view! Then we needed extra coffee and waters and the girls that gave them to us were SO SWEET. Didn't bother them one bit, they even went out of the way to find us extra cream and sugar! They laughed and joked with us, made us feel right at home. When we went to leave, the man that checked us out was just as nice. Thank you Westin, for a great Cincinnati experience!

Nice recently renovated rooms. Excellent location in downtown Cincinnati. Gym could use an update as some of the machines are fairly used. Staff is nice and helpful. Elevators are a bit of a pain, if the hotel gets busy there is often a waiting time for the elevators. Parking is another shortcoming of the hotel. Valet is a ripoff and self park can be difficult due to events filling up the public parking under the hotel.

This hotel was very nice, the room was great with a huge window. Unfortunately I have to give four stars instead of 5 because of my experience when I came downstairs at 2 am to talk to the front desk. The attendant was sitting at the bar watching TV, too far away to see or hear anyone come up to the front desk. I waited for about 5 minutes before employer who had other things to do came out and told her I was standing there. A 5 minute wait isn't terrible, but I was surprised that a hotel this fancy had such a lax staff member. I know it gets boring in the wee hours, but at least kill time in a way that allows you to still do your job…

I've stayed multiple times and have never been unhappy with my stay. This last time I had a room on the tenth floor with an amazing view of Fountain Square. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The valet service was extremely polite. The only downside is that the bar isn't as full as I'd prefer.

The hotel was beautiful! And the bar and restaurant were easily worth a 5 star review. There was however someone on the 3rd shift who refused to give me a replacement room key after I misplaced mine and threatened to kick me out and call security instead of just calling up to the room and confirming! Was very disappointed in that. Aside from her the rest of the staff was wonderful! And the breakfast is great.

The Westin Cincinnati Hotel has a great location downtown with a great view the fountain square. The event I attended there was fine, I just wished there was a more consistent wait time between meals. When our table had finished the salad we had such a long wait time for the main course. By the time the entree came it felt like an appetizer. Despite that wait time, my experience was great.

Spacious hotel accommodations, right downtown. It's in waking distance of the Taft Theater, which is excellent. Late night room service is pretty great too.

Overall, was very nice, clean, and quiet. Our room overlooked the fountain square, so w watched the ice skaters for a bit from the comfort and warmth of our room. Entertaining to watch people fall lol. Bed was a little too firm, other than that, We enjoyed our stay.

The room was nice and cozy. The hotel check in staff was very personable and nice. The bed was an amazingly comfortable. I just thought that maybe the breakfast could be included which that's a treat when any hotel includes a breakfast.

Love this hotel! We come to Cincinnati every year for a Bengals game, and for the past 3 years we've stayed at the Westin. It's one of the most expensive hotels in Cincy, but it's worth it. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and free Wi-Fi. The Westin has the best view of Fountain Square, and you feel like you're right in the heart of the city. A fantastic place to stay, and the only hotel I will ever stay at when I come to Cincinnati.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful! My room was very spacious and had a great view of the outdoor ice skating rink. I enjoyed the rain shower head, it was a very peaceful shower experience. I'm a fan of firm pillows so I didn't love the pillows as they were too squishy for my taste. The one complaint I had was the urine smell in and around the elevators… I have very sensitive smelling and I could smell it about 6 feet away from the elevators, but inside the elevators it was overpowering. Maybe it isn't so bad to everyone else but out made me want to get sick every time I had to use them.

The stay was very pleasant. The hotel was elegantly decorated for the holidays. The rooms are large, quiet and have a comfortable bed, nice sized TV and a fridge. Lots of pillows including a long narrow one for filling in the gap for watching TV. Rain shower head. The view of the square was nice. The hotel staff were very friendly. Parking is in the same building. Just pull up to hotel entrance and unload. You can self park were use the valet. Parking is a dollar an hour. Only negative is that I felt like I was always waiting on the elevator. They only have 3 and it is fast once it arrives. Maybe not enough elevators. Twice it said up outside then went down once inside. This happened to a crowd of 6 so was witnessed.

My stay was fantastic. One of the most comfortable bed and pillow I have ever stayed in. The place was extremely clean and the hotel bar was quick with the drinks and food. Would highly recommend.

Hotel staff unkind, still while I was talking, the lady at the reception took care of the next guest.
Wi-Fi outside the lobby costs another 10 dollar/night, lady on the hotel phone put up immediately after answering my question, no rehearing, etc.
I'm really happy to be able to leave this hotel after 5 hours, definitely not a Starwood level.
Next time you prefer to go straight to Marriot (or Stays In Motel, it's by no means worse and cheaper)

Great hotel. Nice rooms. Nice hotel bar. Free refills on coffee in shop on first floor. Stayed here for a long weekend when my brother got married. Everyone loved the hotel.

The hotel was nice and every staff member we came into contact with was very friendly. The two negative things I'd have to say about our visit are that the sheets were never changed in our room during the 5 days we stayed there and the tile floor in the pool area looked pretty nasty and in need of some help duty cleaning. Even with this, our room was nice and we really enjoyed the centralized location. It was perfect for us to enjoy Blink that just happened to be going on during our stay. We also really enjoyed the short walk to several restaurants and bars nearby.

Nice hotel. Nice gym. Free weights up to 50lbs. Cable crossover machine. 4 ellipticals and 4 treadmills. 2 adjustable benches. Good substitute gym for when you're away from home. Well done bathrooms — no step up into the tub. Electric drapes. Tv channel guide on bed. Comfortable bed. Quiet elevators. Outdated ground entrance — looks very 90s with brick, marble would be an improvement. Poor breakfast options in house, but plenty of stuff nearby. Maple was awesome.

We booked rooms at the Westin as part of a wedding party. However there were no rooms available at 4:00 and then again at 4:30. We were told we would not have a room til after 6:30, but the wedding was at 5:30. Staff at reservations desk were rude, dismissive, and useless. After the reception, some Westin 'guests' still had been un able to get their rooms (the grooms mom and others). I will never stay at this hotel which in the big picture, who really cares, yet I am going to spread the word don't bother to stay at this hotel — awful experience. I give this hotel a negative star rating.

We arrived to the desk at 4:45pm. Check in was scheduled for 4:00. No room was available for us, they told us house keeping was backed up. We had a wedding at 5:30. Absolute nothing was done to accommodate this situation which can't be described as anything other than absolute bull. Again, nothing was offered. We were told that the 4:00pm check in time was not a time that Westin has any obligation to uphold contractually and that they would text us when the room was finally available. Most of the hotel guests were texted sometime after the ceremony around 6:30. It was clear that everyone in the lobby was being told the exact same thing. It was a catastrophe and the front desk clerks were completely dismissive and handling the situation as if it was a completely reasonable thing for a front desk to tell us. Do not trust this hotel and do not attempt to stay here.

Was here for a conference and really enjoyed my time here! super swanky feel, large conference rooms, clean restroom areas, and excellent food provide by restaurant. Would definitely come back in th future!

I found the interior of the hotel beautiful and secure but confusing. I was visiting a friend and did not know I needed a key to get to the floor I needed. There was no one around to ask for help. Thankfully someone got on the elevator who needed the same floor. Also the parking garage was very tight and curvy. I felt claustrophobic driving through it.

The gentleman who checked us in wasn't too notch. He didn't smile, or offer to tell me anything about the hotel and it was my first time here. I had to ask any questions. The room was mediocre. Needed some updating. Bed and pillows were comfortable! Location, though…! Perfect! Right next to fountain square where there was nightly entertainment! All in all a great weekend! Will definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel, the staff was very accomadating. However they would not give me a microwave for my room, stated "health code" reasons, even though the staff had told me that they had microwaves. They suggested I use the microwave at the convienence store across the street.

I was going to give The Westin four stars, but couldn't actually think of anything at all I disliked about my stay. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They are pet friendly & unlike a lot of hotels, they don't actually charge a pet fee. I really liked that they lend out brand new workout gear, in case you forget yours (like I did). The hotel was very clean and modern. No dated fixtures in sight. I had a wonderful stay here & would definitely recommend The Westin.

The room and hotel were very nice. We were unaware that the taste of Cincinnati festival was going to happen on our stay so getting to the hotel was difficult if you are not from the area, like we are. The hotel was very helpful on giving us directions though. Valet parking is available and that is nice too.

Reasonable price for 4 star accommodations. The location is why this received 4 stars. If you're convention center bound, this is the place.

The room was very nice. The bathroom was very clean and the waterfall shower had enough pressure and was really nice. The bed was ok but the pillows very soft (I like firm piilows). Overall it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Great location and great room!

The Weston is right in the heart of the city and over looks fountain square. It's within walking distance to many great restaurants and event centers like the Great American Ballpark, Paul Brown Stadium, US Bank Areana.

The Westin is conveniently placed in the heart of downtown Cincinatti. Anything and everything is only a short walk away. The rooms are very nice and some have a great view of Fountain Square. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because internet access is not complimentary.

Nice size rooms, very clean, and really great service at both the front desk and room service. Plus, the fitness center was up to date and tidy, with some nice touches like headphones and jogging maps.

Such a great hotel. Check in was a breeze. The room is spacious and all amenities were as described. The Wi-Fi is painfully slow and not worth the price but I was able to get a refund for non-usage. Will definitely be back.

I consider myself to be a rather needy hotel guest and the staff met all my requests with a smile. The room was nice and clean, but the bed was the icing on the cake. Can't remember the last time I slept so well.

King size room was nice and large. Refrigerator under the flat panel TV. Parking under the hotel is $17 per day. There are a few bums in the lobby area of the building escaping the weather.

The beds are amazing and the hotel is very nice. The baggage guy was great although it was a little odd that we couldn't push our own luggage around. The bartenders were very friendly too.

Really nice rooms, easy check in process. I don't like not having free Wi-Fi, and the bar/food information was confusing. I wanted breakfast and dinner during my stay but couldn't find it easily.

We stayed on the 12th floor facing the fountain square. We stayed there for new years and it's the best way to enjoy fireworks minus the cold. The service was amazing and the location of the hotel is stone throws away to some of the city's best restaurents.

Orbitz should update the information regarding free parking and Wi-Fi. Parking is $17/day and Wi-Fi is 9.99 or 14.99, depending on if you really want it to work or not. Don't bother with the help desk. I got a flat out "I don't know" regarding the internet from the clerk. Clearly not trained properly. I stayed on the 6th floor overlooking Fountain Square. The view was wonderful and that's about it. I had to wear socks during my 3 night stay. The carpet is like walking on steal wool. You would expect a better quality TP as a 4.3 star hotel. The complimentary coffee in the room is horrendous. They offer a $5 discount if you ski pa day of housekeeping. By doing that you don't get fresh soap, coffee, coffee condiments and trash emptied. That's worth more than $5. Be prepared to pay pay pay if you choose to eat in or go downstairs to their restaurant, Ingredients. Your meal is prepared on a hot plate Look no further if you agree with paying $18.50 for a hamburger, The Westin is your place. How can that be justified? Simply ridiculous. Plan accordingly. If you choose to get take out and have left overs be prepared to eat them cold. No microwave offered anywhere. In all fairness I did get my refund for the non functioning internet. Never again. The Westin appears to be having serious financial issues. I don't know how this place gets 4.3 stars. Others must have very low standards. Beware my room was downgraded without a price adjustment and the television in not HD.

The entire staff — from valet service, to check in counter and front desk service, room service and overall cleanliness — was top-notch. Highly recommend. Parking is a little bit inconvenient without valet service, but didn't apply to my stay.

Although we didn't stay at the Westin hotel, this was still a nice place. The underground garage is open and is actually pretty cheap. The banquet halls were large and the facility/bathrooms were clean. They lock all of the bathrooms in the main floor, which seemed odd. But overall, the employees seemed nice.

I traveled in from Out of town for a wedding… There was a block of rooms for the wedding and I reserved my Room months I'm advance… when I tried to check in early they told me I couldn't and there was a waiting list for my room type and tried to up sell me a "better" room. I needed a place to change so I had to upgrade. This apparently also happened to several other people attending the wedding. Besides this bait and switch the hotel was nice and the complimentary late check out at 3 pm was nice.

Stay is going great so far. The TV inputs are unlocked, the bed is comfortable, and the room is up to date. Perfectly located, and an all around pleasant experience.

This Hotel is the standard that all Hotels should be based on, My less than a week stay there was like living in a Kings Castle, The food was Above Excellent and the rooms were very plush and had personality. Very lush surrounding, Bravo Westin…

I really enjoyed my one week stay! From the time I pulled up I had nothing but great service. The men wouldn't let me touch ANYTHING they were grabbing my bags (I HAD ALOT) quickly & making sure that I get them to my room fast as possible. The women at the service desk were real helpful. I was in love with my room I had a great view of the bands playing across the street. Everything is close by so you can walk if you want to go get things to eat. The only thing I didn't like was the price of parking. Halfway threw the week I ended up parking down the street where they had parking $6/day vs the $32/day I was paying. Besides the price of parking I don't have anything negative to say.

The Westin was a company event destination. This was a good experience. However, the valet parking was a nightmare. Taxi cab driver hit my car before the valet could take it to underground parking. Long story but The Westin would not cover damages nor the valet service. The taxi company not traceable. I ended up eating the cost.

Stayed here for a wedding weekend and we enjoyed it. Our room was spacious and quiet. The hotel is right in the center of downtown and close to everything. The hotel is HUGE and convention like. I think there were a lot of wedding parties there that weekend as it seemed to have quite a party vibe.

This is one of the best hotels in Cincinnati. Located right in the heart of downtown, and a short walk from many decent restaurants, you cant go wrong with this choice. As an SPG platinum member, I'm consistently offered upgrades here, and the service is always great. Room service can be a bit slow when the hotel is very full, but that happens everywhere. The city views are pretty much great from any side of the hotel, but be warned that the rooms overlooking the square get some bright light from the large screen TV courtesy of MACYs, so use your shades at night. The lobby is large and spacious, with lots of places to hang out and work and drink with coworkers. The gym is located on the top floor along with the pool and is pretty nice with a good selection of machines and free weights. Overall, this is a great choice for your stay in Cincinnati.

This would have been my second time staying at this hotel. My husband and I initially booked the room a week in advance at 157.00. For 1 night stay. While checking in, we learned that when using a debit, you must put down a 50.00 for incidentals I assume. We were given a 20 voucher for breakfast. Ok fine, I would rate the room 1-10=6. It's descent and it is clean. We had gotten hungry during the night and decided to order room service. We ordered a Panini turkey sandwich and a bowl of tomatoe soup. It came up to 35.00 including 3-4 dollar tip. Sandwich was small, but tasted ok, the soup was good. But I thought it was way too costly. When we checked out, we learned our total bill was 185.00 and we did receive our 50.00 back. So basically they really charged us for the breakfast voucher. I will not be staying with Westin ever again! Prices are too high! The cost of parking is 17.00 per night and the next morning when we checked out, they charged us 10.00. This will never happen again. Trust and believe.
