Great place to relax! Not too bad!

I was there today for my daughter to receive a scholarship. Very nice and excellent service.

There were a few wet spot in the carpet, probably from a previous guest spilling water from the coffee maker and coffee, but we didnt report it because housekeeping probably didn't realize it was there. We did because we weren't wearing shoes. Also, the bathroom had an odor of urine. Again, we didn't report it. The lounge was a great pit stop for relaxing with new friends! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Thanks!

Our room was exceptional. The bed was comfy. The shower was clean and efficient. The hotel staff was courteous and efficient. I'll admit the location was dodgy, but the hotel was very nice!

Hotel Bar had an excellent choice of food and wine. I had the Caprice Salad and a Merlot. Salad was absolutely delicious. The wine was rich and a generous portion, I might add. Do not order this salad if you are not familiar with Italian anti-pesto or green & yello tomatoes and generous portions of fresh mozzarella cheese with Basalmic Vinaigrette. A delight to see my daughter again!

I very much enjoyed my stay for the second time in over a year. The rooms were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Thank you guys for making our experience pleasant.

The hotel is clean and spacious however the double rooms are a bit small. The location is close to the university and zoo. I wish the double rooms had two queens instead of the full size ones. This may be a weird thing to comment on but the toilets are the smaller round ones instead of the longer oval ones. It's been a while since I've stayed at a hotel like that. How much more could it cost to put those in. It might be because the bathrooms are a bit small and the door might hit it if they were of the bigger variety. They don't have a pool on the premises. They have a partnership with the university for that. Kind of inconvenient.

The Marriott has great food and excellent service! Very military friendly as well. Parking is a bit of a pain as it is underground but it is fairly secure. No pool so that is kind of a bummer, but there are several fast food restaurants nearby that may be walked too — as well as the Cincinnati Zoo! Really close!

Just met family there but their room seemed nice and the service at the restaurant along with the food was incredible for a restaurant.

Very beautiful hotel. Room was clean. King bed was a little too soft for my liking, but not to bad it was unbearable.

The Hotel looks beautiful from the outside and in the lobby however the rooms are bit dated. The bed was very uncomfortable Lumpy and they need to upgrade to chair height toilets. My room had a refrigerator in it but no microwave my plan was to reheat my leftovers from the meal that I purchased in the restaurant dining room, however when I woke up I realized there was no microwave. I had to pay for parking even though I did not drive, I rode with a friend but I was charged $5 for parking and told that that was a flat rate fee for all customers which I think is strange. Upon checking out we were given no instructions regarding how to use the room key to exit the gate and we had to call for help and it took forever for someone to answer the phone. I like the fact that the hotel is in close vicinity to the conference I attended. The restaurant the food was good however there wasn't much variety and the portions were really massive and expensive.

Good location and friendly staff. Needs a pool but other than that is great.

I went to visit out of town friends that were staying here for a wedding. The hotel was nice and well maintained, rooms were in good shape and there was plenty of space for several of us to get ready at once. It's in a nice central location, would recommend it for anyone who visits Cincinnati.

Hotel staff kind and accommodating. Would stay here again due to the high quality rooms, conference areas, large space, and respectful staff. The catering was top quality as well.

The staff was nice and the place was big and clean. I went for a conference but I didn't stay the night. What I saw was nice. The only downside was the parking was expensive. $10 a day but I'm pretty sure they discount it for overnight guests. It looks like UC students also get in and out for free.

I have never had a bad Marriott experience. I did not think it was possible. But I had one here. I will summarize: 1. It was 13 degrees outside and the room heat just was not adequate. It functioned fine. Just poor design. 2. Overall Noise level was unacceptable. The room heating system sounded like a small plane. Hallway noise made its way into the room above normal levels. This was a problem because of the college team staying on my floor. But the real kicker was somebody starting their morning prayers out in the Hallway at 4:30am. 3. Lastly, and while this sounds petty, it bothered me a great deal. The bed was too soft. Mushy in fact. Not the typical firm Marriott mattress. It left me in pain the next day. Overall, I was really disappointed for such a fine Hotel.

The room was extremely comfortable and every person we dealt with was very friendly. The woman from whom we picked up our breakfast order was exceedingly nice to my son. Everything was very neat, orderly, and clean. I would stay again.

Great Marriott located on "pill hill". Staff is friendly and pleasant. Rooms are nice but are getting dated, especially the bathroom. The resteraunt and bar on the main floor is nice but a tad overpriced. Parking is plentiful in the garage underneath but be aware that it shares space with another building. Make sure to park on the correct side or you'll be doing some walking!

Great hotel, so so as conference center. Rooms good and staff super friendly and helpful. Business center doesn't really allow for real work and hard to find places to use a laptop.

Excellent hospital centric location, very professional staff, and comfortable beds. My only complaint is the air conditioning in the warmer months. The units are designed with the thermostat directly on the ducting, causing them to deactivate before fully cooling the room.

Stage rooms A and B were very nice. The food and drinks were pretty good but the bread was a little stale and the coffee was cold. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is nice enough and the gym is a bit better than the standard Marriott fitness center. Parking is a bit weird with a shared use garage for the hotel and other stuff nearby, and hotel parking is limited to certain spots. It's not in a great neighborhood, though. There's food within walking distance, but I wouldn't want to walk anywhere after dark.

Quiet, enormous, very comfortable rooms; pricey but tasty breakfast options at the hotel restaurant, and a fitness center with a nice array of areobic equipment.

The restaurant is not good. There are others with better service.

Not only was it very clean but the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with on all levels from management to front desk to those that work so hard to make our room so nice neat and clean even those at the conference that were serving us lunch we're delightful everyone always had smiles and seem very sincere and pleasant in offering help I would definitely come back here. Even when I had a sincere concern Mr. Brandt was extremely helpful and accommodating since he is the general manager and was so pleasant to deal with I can see how his helpfulness, concern and accommodating trickles down to his staff.

Central location easy to get around the city. Clean room halls and dining areas. Free Starbucks coffee to get the morning started. Friendly staff. Ken was very helpful.

I really impressed. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and inviting. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Great place to stay. Downtown and near everything. Took User to wherever we wanted to go. Will stay here again. Four of us stayed here for a heavy metal concert at Bogarts.

Our annual event, Independence City, was held at the Kingsgate Marriot Conference Center. It was a phenomenal time! The staff was friendly, professional, and attended to our needs with great efficiency. The food was delicious. We had a great time!

I've stayed here twice now, and both stays were great. The front desk staff is very accommodating and friendly, and I felt like I began to know the room service and housekeeping staff. During my first stay, I saw a large bug crawl out of the sink! The front desk immediately sent up maintainance and upgraded me to a larger room at no extra cost. I only wish there were slightly less expensive dining options in the hotel.

Very nice venue for a small wedding, which was why I was there. Very nice bathrooms, good was great, and the decor was classy. The ballroom we were in was quite chilly, colder than the main lobby area. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I'd definitely come back again!

I dropped my daughter off for a party she was attending. The hotel was easy to locate, and dropping her off and picking her back up was easy.

Stay was fine but the check in was a pain because they could not find some of our reservations and the check in staff was polite but not overly accommodating.

Excellent hotel and excellent service. The room service was very nice. However there were no decent restaurants in a walkable distance besides the ones within the hotel. Plus if you are staying for attending a conference at the university of Cincinnati the distance to the school is further than it looks.

The room is adequate, and the linens nice and soft but the temperature is only adjustable within a narrow range and the food is awful. Staff is nice.

5 stars because of bearcat lounge/restaurant staff being unbelievable. I would fly back to Cincinnati just to experience the bearcat lounge staff again. In fact, I would drag myself across the desert and 3 tornadoes and 5 blizzards to meet the Bearcat staff one more time. However, the shuttle could become unreliable, but who cares, I would walk in the frigid temps to spend time with that awesome bearcat lounge staff. The room service was also excellent, but greatly overshadowed by the bearcat lounge staff. The rooms were great, except I ruined my shirt with the iron because there was some type of plastic melting on to shirts. This made me late for my training in Cincinnati, which was the reason I stayed in the Marriott. However, I would iron my face off and ruin 100% of my shirts to get back to that bearcat lounge staff. I would also be late for every training the rest of my life if I was able to talk with the bearcat lounge staff again. I found a couple of UHOs (unidentified hairy objects) in my bed, but I would sleep on a bed solely made of 80 year old sweaty men hair for the bearcat lounge staff.

Great place to stay. Outstanding service, and the people who worked there were extremely helpful. Resteraunt and bar were great as well.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice shower. Easy check in and check out. Free Wi-Fi. Hotel restaurant had fantastic pork chop, average burgers and sandwiches, and a couple of good beers on tap.

The hotel is very nice, but what they say doesn't match the way they charge. They gave me a $10 "value parking pass", saying the $10 covered my entire stay. My invoice, however, showed that they charged me $10 each day of my stay. There are also several room service charges that I don't recognize, many of them on the same day. Considering I was only there for dinner, it's highly unlikely I would have ordered two dinners, both via room service, on the same night. I've been trying to get a hold of the lady in their accounting department, but she doesn't answer the phone or return calls.

When we arrived, the lady helping us was amazing! She was more than accommodating and helped us get the answers we needed. She really went the extra mile to make us feel right at home. The next day though, we needed a taxi to the airport and so the tall college aged front desk clerk guy called a taxi for us. We got down to the front and there was a big black escalade waiting for us. He got us to the airport and he promptly gave us the total. We had prior arrangements with the hotel that it would be covered. The taxi driver called the hotel and put the call on speakerphone. That same college guy answered and immediately, these two were talking as if they we're friends. He asked about the arrangements and that guys response was the most insensitive, two faced, snotty remark, " (Smerk) Oh God no! We would never do that. " Needless to say, after an extremely stressful, and emotional last 24 hours, this was the topping on the cake for us and now we had to go try to find an ATM somewhere in the airport and not be late for our flight. Be careful if you call down for a "taxi" and they don't have a meter or get your signature, you might be part of an inside job. To this day, the hotel said they'd be reimbursing us and we still haven't seen our $60. Won't be recommending this place to anyone again.

I stayed here recently when I was in town for a concert at Bogart's. While it was too cold to walk back and forth when I was there when not in the dead of winter it would not be a bad walk. Just check on the safety of the area before walking late at night, I cannot comment on that aspect. The room was great and the staff was wonderful. The only problem is parking. While they have ample parking in an underground facility below the hotel and some attached medical buildings it is not clean how to get back to the hotel quickly after parking, especially when you arrive after dark. I parked and it took me a few minutes to find the hotel lobby from the parking area. Not a major problem but an annoyance.

We had a group in for an overnight stay and a board meeting and were very pleased at the hospitality and service we received. The facilities were perfect for what we needed. The board meeting, sleeping rooms and parlor were well appointed and clean. The staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable, and a made our stay that much more enjoyable. Great Job.

HORRIBLE experience for a Marriott! Was furious that we arrived there at midnight last Friday with a guaranteed late arrival reservation that we'd had for months and had just called the day before to reconfirm, but then they were overbooked and couldn't give us a room. The one desk clerk still there was sympathetic but helpless. At least they paid for us to stay somewhere else nearby. So I can't say how the rooms or food really were. Probably convenient if you need to be in this location for business but as a general visitor to the area I will say that the location is HORRIBLE, right in the middle of a congested hospital campus in a sketchy neighborhood, hard to find and park.

I absolutely loved my stay at Kingsgate. I can't get over how friendly the staff was — like everyone (the front desk was so helpful, my shuttle driver told us about some awesome spots in the city, such fun bartenders!, and I had fun conversations with my housekeeper daily). I stayed for 9 days for my residency and the food and service was amazing at every event. Everything was always so clean, they have great food options, and a lovely outdoor area outback. Great workout facility too! (with passes to the UofCincy gyms as well) I highly recommend your stay here.
