Absolutely amazing service atmosphere and the food! Omg! So amazing 12 out of 10! Very veggie friendly!

The Cutler Inn Dining Room is very good but they were out of burgers today, so a couple of us were disappointed. But the sandwiches were good. And so was my salad. They saved my cushion seat I absent mindedly left behind, so overall the staff was great.

Great Place, very relaxing and great people.

I had catfish for lunch outside on patio. Great food and nice looking pool.

This disabled veteran loved the spacious rooms and the layout.

I loved staying in this hotel for 2 night we had Jestine shes in a wheelchair the one employee that works there helped me and my provider get her into bed so that was so helpful I give this hotel a 5 star rating and I loved having a room all to myself my room was absolutely beautiful I just loved it and I loved the balcony.

We visited the O. U. Inn on Dec 27. There were 4 of us. Three of our meals were really good. My sister-in-law had the Airport Chicken. She told our server it was dry. I tasted it, and it really was dry. The server said she would speak to her manager and returned to suggest she bring some gravy to make it better. It didn’t really help, so our server said she would discount at least part of her meal. Then she said, we could choose a dessert at no charge. We did order a dessert to share.
When we got the bill there were NO discounts and the dessert WAS NOT COMPED.
I wrote a letter and there was no reply. Pretty disappointing for a restaurant with their reputation!
I know things happen in food service; but just OWN it and DO THE RIGHT THING! And if you tell a client they will be comped, just do it. And when you get a letter, answer it!
I never write negative reviews, but this is deserved.

Stayed there for the first time last weekend for a wedding. The customer service was phenomenal. The bartenders working made me some pretty amazing creative drinks. The room was huge and I even had a patio overlooking the pool area. The room itself was modern and up to date. It was a pleasant surprise how amazing it all was. Highly recommend if you are in the Athens area and need a place to crash!

The hotel is beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms. What really stood out for me was the AMAZING customer service, and their willingness to go above and beyond for a guest. Especially when it comes to the night front desk person, Phil. I arrived back to the hotel around 2 am after a night of drinking with family. I used a Lyft to get back to my room. When I settled into my room, I realized my phone was missing. I soon realized that I left it inside the Lyft. I frantically called my phone, but it went straight to voicemail. I then called the front desk and I was advised to use the business room to access my account via a computer. No luck! I went down to the front desk, and spoke with Phil as I was trying not to cry. My phone is my GPS to get back home in the morning. (I’ve never been to Athens before). Phil was able to use his magic and get ahold of my Lyft driver via email. He suggested I should head back to my room and he would call me with any updates. Phil called within the hour and said the driver found my phone, but claimed that a 6 minute drive was too much of an inconvenience for him to return it. He said he would return it sometime the next day, but Phil explained to the driver I’m headed back home in the morning… I need my phone! This went on for awhile. The Lyft driver told Phil that if I wanted my phone so bad that I need to come pick it up at his house!

Great location to OU and very nice inter courtyard area. If you book a room, ask for an inside room.

It is the nicest hotel in town but … prices for dinners way to high. Example: Graduation dinner 2019. It was a Buffet for $50.00. Really? A buffet for $50.00? After these parents sent their children through school and paid to stay in your hotel … $50.00 per person for a buffet? I don't think so! You're taking advantage of these people for an average tasting buffet. I cancelled my reservation when I found out the cost. Price gouging at its worst!

The OU Inn was nice. Stayed in a room with a king bed and pull-out couch. Room was large. I was with my husband, but the room easily would have accommodated our 3 children as well. Within walking distance to Uptown Athens. There’s an outdoor pool & small fitness room (that we didn’t use). There also is a community park with a nice playground next door. My only complaint was that the water temperature was lukewarm. A maintenance worker came to the room to check the temperature and told us the Inn intentionally keeps the water temp low so guests don’t accidentally burn themselves. Several other people we know happened to be staying at the Inn at the same time, and they all said they had hot water, so not sure what was up with that. If I had been there for a wedding I would have been pretty upset to not be able to take a hot shower.

We are members of the VRA (Vulcan Riders Association). We recently attended our East Coast Motorcycle Rally. Our accommodations were at the Ohio University Inn. The hotel and staff treated us like royalty. The hotel restaurant served excellent food and the waiters and waitresses were fantastic! I would highly recommend anyone stay there.

Had a great experience here. Carrie took care of us personally and made sure that our weekend stay was perfect. She was even able to recommend where to go to get good food and to a few of the local wineries we were able to check out. Room was very clean and affordable. We will be back!

We selected the Ohio University Inn as our wedding hotel. Everything about the experience was nice. It was a busy weekend in Athens but they still gave us a discounted block of rooms. My wife and I stayed there as well and it was nice. Likely the best hotel in Athens.

Thought it was a very nice Inn and the bar staff, Nicole and Lucy, were awesome! Would have given 5 stars but on a couple of occasions, once in the bar and once in Cutler’s during my breakfast, I could hear other employees complaining to one another about other employees. It was very loud and to customer’s point of view it makes it seem as if there is disarray among the staff, not to mention unprofessional and disruptive while trying to enjoy a meal.

If there could be any other hotel I could compare this too it would be the hotel from The Shinning. To get to my room I had to take 2 elevators, backtrack, walk down the wrong hallways twice, and then finally arrive at my unmarked room. Finding my way out was less tricky as I followed the exit signs and walked around outside to find my car. Aside from the random twists and turns, this is a pretty sweet hotel. Fantastic service and beautiful rooms. They have fairly comfy beds as well. Room 343 is pretty lit.

The Ohio University Inn is has a great location in Athens, whether you are visiting the Ohio University or the town itself. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Very modern rooms with comfortable beds. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed, which includes a comfortable couch that can be converted to a bed. The bathroom is great, however our room only had a shower and controlling it's water temperature is a bit finicky. Ohio University Alumni: Book via telephone.

The newly expanded tavern space greatly improves the atmosphere of the casual dining experience. The now larger area allows for additional seating and more space between tables. There are several long high-tops for parties of 8-10 individuals and smaller tables for parties of 2-4 all positioned to allow easy viewing of the three large-screen TV's. There is also additional seating at the bar. Weeknight specials tend to draw a crowd so come early.

The service was very nice and the rooms impressed me. They definitely are the best in town I've seen. I was able to work comfortably and it was very clean.

Nice location, close to campus. Room was nice, only downside was we had to rent a handicap room because that's all that was available when we booked. The room was nice, but because of the type of room the shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom and had to use extra towels to wipe the floor when done.

We were in town for a wedding, and the hotel the other guests were staying at was all booked. We reserved a room here sort of last minute and got a free upgrade to a suite with the best shower I've used in my life. A wonderful hotel experience. The only reason it's not five stars is that they didn't adjust the price to reflect the upgrade, so there was some stress during checkout, but ultimately it was worked out. I would definitely stay here again.

We had our first date night after our second child was born and we are glad we did! Since it was winter break, the restaurant was empty so we got the table right next to the fireplace. Staff was so nice. Food was awesome. Definitely recommend for a romantic night out.

I am currently planning my wedding and will be having both the ceremony and reception at the OU Inn. So far, Amber has gone above and beyond to make our day go as smoothly as possible (and even throw in some magic). We still have a few more weeks until the big day but I am 100% confident in the staff. Highly recommend this venue and Amber to any bride.

The rooms are very clean and spacious! I love the rain shower head — it gives the bathroom a very spa-like feel! My only complaint is that there is no microwave in the room and no fan in the bathroom but, other than that, it's great!

I travel cross country frequently to visit my terminally ill mother. The inn is a halfway point, which is why I originally booked a stay here the first time. I've now stayed multiple times and will continue to do so. First thing you'll notice is how nice and clean the property is. Once you enter, you are greeted by the nicest staff possible. Seriously, I think they just rounded up the nicest people in Athens and gave them a job. The rooms are nice, the bathroom is beautiful, and everything is emaculately clean. The restaurant is nice, it can be pricey, but it's well worth it. The food is incredible, my compliments to the chef. If you're anywhere in the general location needing a bed for the night, look no further. Great room and great rates.

Overall acceptable stay. There was leftover room service in the hallway for a few hours when we arrived. The speed bump was enormous and could damage vehicles. The restaurant was mediocre. Room was comfortable and adequate.

I have stayed at the OU in many times and each experience has been great. This time I had friends with me and I accidentally booked a room with one king instead of two queens and they were very accommodating when I realized my mistake. Everything was very clean and a good location close to campus for the price.

It's a nice hotel. It's on the expensive side, and I had to call the front desk because people were partying hard in the middle of the night. You can't beat the location — — within walking distance of everything.

Celebrated a wedding here and spent the night! Great room and fantastic shower although the hot water kept going out. They helped make the special day fantastic! I would definitely stay again.

Should probably think about updating your online booking system. If I indicate that 4 people are staying in a room i’m not sure why your system would filter my options to a king bedroom with no pull out couch. Not sure how 4 people would sleep in that. Your receptionist then offered me a two bedroom for one night of the weekend but basically said I was sol for the second night… still have 4 people so where is everyone sleeping the second night? Her ‘trying’ to accommodate only made me more mad and led me to canceling the whole room bc there was no real accommodations made. Thanks for saving me $500 but ruining months worth of planning.

The service at Cutler's is always slow. The food is ok, but overpriced. Have had to send food back to the kitchen there before for various issues.

Why stay anywhere else when in Athens, Ohio! Home of the Bobcats! If you like first class customer service, cleanliness, and great rooms, this is the place!

I enjoyed our stay here. My wife and I came here with our 3 dogs. The rooms were clean and the first floor rooms have access to a nice courtyard. There is also a nice little park across the road.

Very nice clean rooms. Big TV. Comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet hotel. Couldn't hear our neighbors or people walking down hallway. Breakfast costs a little more, but, it is not your typical hotel continental breakfast.

Beds were excellent. Breakfast buffet, although not free, was very good. Beautiful place.

Love the hotel; would never stay anywhere else when visiting Athens. Service was great! Room was great! Beautiful landscaping and outdoor pool and patios. Dinner could have been better… menu and food are not as good as they used to be, but servers and staff were excellent.

The OU Inn & Conference Center is a great hotel for the price. The rooms are well decorated and clean. The staff is polite and responsive, and the location is close to everything. You can't go wrong.

The main building was nice, all the amenities in the room where nice. Seem to be adequate parking. Liked it better than your average hotel.
