My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very polite and accommodating. Hotel was nice and clean. Highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I can't get enough of the design or decor. They prices is great and you get way more than what you pay for. Super friendly service staff will deff stay here more often.

Loved it. First time here. Came to celebrate my birthday (2/29) staying Thursday to Saturday made it for a long weekend. Very nice room we had. I believe it was a loft.

Staff are we ell mannered and courteous towards guests even thought we are high rollers.

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Parking is a little inconvenient but do-able. The room was spotless and inviting. Would 100% recommend.

I had my baby shower here 4/5/19 in one of the meeting rooms. I spoke with “Bob” all up unto the shower. He made me feel as though everything was under control, it wasn’t. I was told I could decorate the room the day of at 2:00pm, when I arrived it was another party still going on and the staff had no idea I was suppose to be in there. The staff tried to reach “Bob” (manager) who does not work on Saturday’s but was still available if needed prior too. He did not respond to there concerns, nor did he try to contact me that following week when he returned to work. My shower was suppose to start at 5:00pm and ended up starting at 6:30pm my guest had to wait out in the lobby until the party before me was done breaking down. I would not recommend having any type of party here EVER! This was very unprofessional!

Clean hotel, very comfortable, very relaxing, updated rooms. Just a nice place.

The hotel was very nice and close to the theater we were going to for a show. However, the "free" internet was very slow and we didn't want to pay the daily fee for the upgraded internet. We saw that there was no complimentary breakfast but we could purchase the breakfast package. We assumed it would be a breakfast buffet, but found we were limited in what the breakfast package included. In the past, we have stayed at many less swanky hotels that included high-speed internet and a nice breakfast buffet. I'm not sure we will return to this hotel because the price for what we got was much higher than other hotels we have stayed at.

Clean room… People at the Front Desk were very welcoming and knowledgeable, however the staff making the food and serving the guests left a lot to be desired! Caught sitting in the back room on their cell phones while so many people are waiting to be taking care of is inconceivable and then having to wait for an hour and a half for a burger to be delivered is extremely bad customer service!

Very modern hotel with clean rooms. Smart TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker in the room. Nice staff. Bottled water $2.50. No continental breakfast, but they have cafe to purchase breakfast. They brew Starbucks, but the mocha was one of the worst I have ever had. Vibrating noise in the room — many hotels have this, bring ear plugs if you are sensetive. Walking distance to couple restaurants/bars.

The hotel was in a great location shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was very clean and new looking. Took a while to get extra towels but otherwise a great hoyel.

Had a beautiful and enjoyable stay here. The staff wad very kind and courteous, helpful and considerate. I'd recommend them to everyone I know. Very, very happy with my stay there.

Rooms were very clean, modern, updated, and quiet. The speakeasy next door is awesome as well. A great place to stay for professional events in Akron!

Very nice showers/bathroom. Rooms were nice. We didnt use the amenities really. Just there one night.

Courtyard by Marriott Akron Downtown has beautiful scenery, although I was not an overnight guest I did sit down and have a meal with some associates and I would definitely recommend it family and friends.

Very nice hotel in downtown Akron, possibly the best here. The building and amenities look refreshingly new. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. The restroom / shower in my room is among the roomiest I've seen at this price point. Nice lobby area with both a bar and kitchen as well as a grab and go counter. And the staff here I found to be super friendly and helpful!

This was quite possibly the nicest Marriott I've ever stayed in. Very clean, very new, nice amenities, quiet location. It's within walking distance of good food, shopping, coffee, and hiking trails. Close to the railroad if you want a day trip, or downtown, if you're interested in what downtown has to offer. I definitely would recommend this Marriott to anyone visiting Akron! Stop by Rubber City Clothing and buy a unique souvenir to commemorate your stay!

I've been trying out different places to stay in norther OH, and thought I'd give this newer Courtyard a whirl. Once will be quite enough, thank you. While the newer construction makes this a nicer venue than most, I was thoroughly unimpressed. The staff at their cafe in the evenings seemed fairly clueless about preparing food, and it was poor overall (though the morning staff was good). Housekeeping was the real problem, barely making the bed, not removing obviously dirty glasses and dishes, and not wiping down surfaces. But far worse was discovering bites from bedbugs a day or two after staying there. That'll keep me from ever staying there again!

Our stay at this hotel was fine, but their housekeeping staff are thieves. This is our 3rd time staying there and one stay I left my Bose earbuds in the desk drawer called the 12 or more times and never received a call, this visit we forgot to check the closet and left 2 dresses and a camouflage jacket called them and of course we didn’t get a call back, I had to call and what a surprise they were not found. I will be contacting corporate about this. Just beware don’t leave anything of value while staying there because the house keeping steals.

Hotel was decent. Beds were comfortable and clean towels. Only issue was that there was no where to eat breakfast at 9:30 am or dinner after 11. However, just outside there's Luigi's pizza open until midnight.

Nice place tucked away near the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Akron stop. The hotel is pretty new and has a small restaurant on site as well as a larger nicer restaurant next door. The hotel has a very spacious lobby to relax in. They also have a mini theater onsite that can accommodate around a dozen people. Parking is located across the street and is free. Across the street you will find more eating options as well.

It's an extremely nice location. It's very upscale and unique. The view at night is also really nice. I didn't stay in a room but I'm talking about the lobby and the speakeasy bar downstairs.

We came to stay at this hotel for a few day get away. Upon arriving the comforters had stains and there were towels in the bathroom with blood on them. We were given new towels and a comforter but why would the cleaning staff leave a white comforter with red stains. The next day no one came and cleaned the room. The first time we called the front desk said they hadn’t did our floor, the next time they said oh we will tell the manager and get to you tomorrow. I told them we were leaving tomorrow he said oh yeah sorry about that but we can bring you some towels and you can sit your trash and old towels in the hall. We asked to watch a movie in the theater and the person at the front desk said they were setting up for a conference. Another associate told us that was a lie. We also checked the next day and there was no conference.

Excellent hotel. New, modern rooms, right next to an Akron staple restaurant, Luigi's. Beds were comfortable, shower was large with good water pressure, and there were zero bed bugs, so this place is good in my book. Rates were reasonable, but I stay at Marriott anytime on business so this is not much of a concern for me. Be sure to check out the attached Speakeasy… if you can figure out how to get in.

Attending a conference there. Meeting room was very nicely done. Separate Wi-Fi log in for meeting room. Catered lunch was very good with nice seating area near the lobby. Close free parking. Very nicely decorated inside. I recommend it.

My family checked in our room at 8:30 p. M. It was 62 degrees in the room. We called the front desk as it was bitter cold (granted it was 22 degrees outside). We were told it would take about an hour for the room to heat up. It is 10:30 p. M, and we are only at 65 degrees. We were told they can’t move us to another room because the hotel is sold out! Even the attendant at the front desk admitted repeatedly the heating system was flawed! My daughter has surgery scheduled at Akron’s Children’s Hospital tomorrow morning and needs a “good night’s sleep” the night before which is why we came up here the night before in the first place! This is ridiculous!

Very new, clean, great location for my weekend spent in Akron. My checkin experience was very awkward. The lady at the desk had the most rude attitude. No smile, no welcome to Marriott/Courtyard. Specifically said “what’s your name? ” (Wouldn’t expect that in a customer service job. ) I checked my billing the day after checkout for the hotel, and saw I was overcharged $40 for my room. Called and it was said it would be credited 24-48hrs post checkout. It’s been almost a week and no credit. So not only were they rude but also overcharge for no reason. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t stay at Marriott again!

Stating that I am extremely dissatisfied would be an understatement. After making my reservation and spending $300, I receive an email 4 HOURS BEFORE CHECK-IN stating "We are sorry but the King Loft your reservation for is unavailable due to maintenance. We are replacing the furnaces in these rooms. I would be happy to give you an economy single room". I'm not sure if this is a scam (the bait and switch) or what the situation is but replacing the furnace in a hotel about a year old seems suspect at best. I would recommend that you are very cautious when dealing with this place or you may be left out in the cold like myself.

Room Restores expensive and without great variety.

Very nice Hotel. Catering was great. Rooms were very nice. The only reason this place is getting a 4* is due to hearing the staff cuss when they thought guests weren't around. Staff were friendly when they were around guests though.

We had a class in one of the meeting rooms. The room was very spacious and a comfortable temperature. Breakfast and beverages were provided, very nice for a hotel conference room. We have a series of classes there and I look forward to returning. Also, great restaurants.

Great service. Beautiful accommodations and amenities. Recommend this hotel for your traveling needs. Everything you need or want is in this spot. 5 thumbs up.

Definitely worth all the stars. Very nice. All of the pictures Google provides are true. No false advertising here. Really good food from the lobby's Bistro and very friendly staff as well.

Hi My name is Eric I stayed at your Hotel for a week for a business trip and I have tried several times to get a hold of someone! Called Saturday and Nate put me on hold for 10 minutes then sent me to booking the lady in booking hung up on me. Called back again the 3rd time spoke with a lady named Jessica she also put me on hold and didn't help me and was very rude. Called back and asked to speak with the manager she told me she was busy and put me on hold for 10 mins and then transferred me to the managers voicemail! I still have not got a call back from the manager! My room also didn't get cleaned. My bed wasn't made they just put new towels in the bathroom If you ask me I would give this place a 0. I am also a Marriott rewards member so this is not OK. I will also be sure to let my boss know not to book anyone else at this location.

I stay here every other month when in Akron. Conveniently located next to the Towpath and downtown. A few good restaurants nearby and the staff is friendly. Ideal spot for business travelers.

Nice hotel for a business trip. Good bar. Friendly staff and updated lobby and rooms. Pretty nice gym as well.

Have been here two days. Friday and Saturday in August. Busy on the weekends but not too where it is a lot of folks in the lobby or hallways. If you are up early, the Starbucks is easy access and has good breakfast options prepared by their "chef. ". Front desk staff are helpful enough. Cleaning staff are very helpful. Room was a full/double. Nice enough and even though we were near the elevator, it was quite enough. Parking onsite can be an issue if you checking later on a busy day. Exercise room has 4 treadmills, two elliptical, and two bike options with decent free weights. Close to downtown area and businesses. Good property to stay at. Lots of families stay here. Enjoy!

Super nice hotel and great front desk staff. The room was really clean and neat and the bed was just what I was hoping for after seeing a great concert at Blossom Music Center last night. However, being woken up to the sound of housekeeping going door to door at 8am and me having to yell that I'm still using my room, wasn't exactly how I was wanting to wake up. I spoke with the operations manager (forgot to get the gentleman's name) who assured me this is not how they've been trained. Outside of this issue, I would totally recommend staying here to anyone. Just don't forget to use the do not disturb sign, otherwise you won't need to worry about setting your alarm clock.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Most of the staff is uninformed, including the receptionist, about local activities or current events. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows we're flat! We had to call the front desk twice for firmer pillows, since they forgot the first time. Also, one of the hotel employees children had taken over the pool, completely unsupervised. We didn't even get in the pool because they were too noisy! I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed the Night after a night on The Grape Escape. Clean modern rooms. Pool was small but adequate for a morning dip. Staff was friendly.

Extremely friendly staff. Nice bar in hotel plus nice little bistro for quick bites. Wouldn't suggest bistro for full meal but ok for snacks or a breakfast for the go. Hotel is new so rooms are very modern and nice. Walls do seem thin, could hear my neighbor stomping around but not that big of a deal for me.

Room was immaculate. Very clean. All the amenities, fixtures and furniture were new. Staff was polite and courteous. Normally the noise in the halls are an issue. Not here… Great place.

I've stayed here on several occasions never had any issues. This particular location is well managed and well maintained. The front desk has always been very friendly and works hard to ensure there are no issues. It's tucked far enough off the freeway in a very peaceful setting so there isn't any road noise.

Check in was seconds, very easy, no issues, elevators fast, rooms were very efficient with great views of the passenger rail station for the scenic railroad. Many restaurants within walking distance, but none open for breakfast, so limited choices to only hotel for breakfast. Rooms were very clean, and bathroom was huge. Hated the shower though, plate shower head, not very good pressure and room only has a shower with an open door. The water sprays out onto the floor in the bathroom. Beds were terrific and hotel was very quiet. We loved Luigis restaurant the night before open until 4AM on weekends. Workout room was great, large, everything worked and was new. Towels, headsets great with lots of equipment. The pool was way too small to swim. No whirlpool and what a disappointment on the pool size, probably 5 yards by 5 yards, not much larger than a whirlpool. Room had a small cabinet with a microwave and a mini-fridge. Don't like that all Courtyards charge for coffee, and no tea or other drinks in the lobby other than pay drinks. This is the same for other Courtyards. I will be back!

This marvelous facility opened in March of 2016 and it is GORGEOUS! Check-in was fast and painless. The rooms are spaceous and the pool and gym are much better than expected. The location is right downtown and is built to accommodate conventions and business meetings. They can easily handle volume. There are very few places to stay downtown Akron until now so I'm grateful to Marriott for providing us travelers a decent place to stay!
