Person who owns this place isn't trustworthy. And people are rude and disrespectful. Bathroom are broken and smell. Breakfast isn't good Wi-Fi doesn't work.

Horrible experience, no Wi-Fi, pool doesnt work, no breakfadst as it says. Stains all on the bed, no light bulbs. This is false advertisment and definately not worth a 50 $ stay, it smells gross throughout the whole hotel. An employee was just sitting on his phone. Horrible and wouldn't recommend it.

All previous reviews are 100% accurate. I failed to read any of them until after checking in. No hairdryer. No alarm clock. No heat. Couldn't get out of this place fast enough.

NO STARS! Completely unprofessional from the moment we walked in. The lobby was dingy and unkept. The guest services wasn't friendly. The elevators smelled like rat pee and cigarettes. The room had no towels the dresser handles were broken, lamps were unplugged, the bathroom light fixture was above the the shower with exposed cords and the shower and curtain were dirty and stained. We didn't even stay five minutes before checking out. Upon checking out the guy only took the card saying it was fine and left the counter while we were still standing there.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I should have checked the reviews before arriving (shame on me). We pulled up and there were only about 20 cars in the lot (should have been the first sign at a 6 story hotel). We walked in and the guy was not at the counter, could hear him in the back room on the phone. There were no decorations in the lobby just a vending machine a few couches (one of which was blocking a hallway and looked gross). The guy finally came out 5 minutes later, still on the phone and didn't say a word to us started clicking on the computer. After a couple minutes I set my credit card and ID on the counter and he still did not acknowledge us. He finally asked if we were checking in (still on the phone). He got off the phone about 3 minutes later and was just clicking on the computer for about 8 minutes without saying a word. Finally he handed us the keys. We went up to the room (mind you the elevator smelled horrible and had cigarette butts and trash in the tracks). The hallway to our room was gross. Had stains all over the carpet. The door to the room next to us was open, there was a family of about 5 in there that appeared to be living there with the TV blaring. We walked up to our door and opened it and didn't even bother to walk all the way in the bedo were not made, there was used cigarettes on the counter with ashes and wrappers, pants on the floor and in the trash and shoes in the garbage. At that point we turned around and went back to the desk.

Terrible! There was throw up in the hallways which they refused to pick up until a day later. If that. Our room had a clogged toilet that thsy refused to fix. The next room we had didn't have a working tv. The plugs barely worked. The blankets and sheets had a burn marks in them. They tried to charge us extra money after going to the crappy room. My sister in law left with a sty because she slept with her head in the pillow. My nephew and I had bumps and bites up and down our backs. They were rude when we asked for little things. And the Wi-Fi was not working at all.

We stayed two nights. Hallway had throw up, Our toilet over flowed and we didn't even use it yet. When we told the maintenance he handed us a plunger and expected us to fix it. Very rude when asked for towels and tissue. Tv didn't work. The pool area and work out area isn't open and hasn't been according to locals. My nephew and boyfriend had bed bug bites. Never coming again.

I have stayed at the Carol three or four times since may of 2015, for what it is it is a wonderful hotel. It has reasonably fast Wi-Fi and warm beds for a cheap price and little else. I have seen people complain that it offers no breakfast, this is true I spoke with the manager on it and he has been trying to get the travel pages to stop listing this as a feature for a while. The place is under staffed but I have found with enough patients there is little they won't help you with.

No one at the front when we arrived. Called the number left. 15 mins later manager showed up. Manager "mike patel" rude and unapologetic. Would NOT stay here again. If we hadn't paid online in advance would not stay here.

Nightmare! If it wasn't so late at night when we checked in, we would have run from this dive! Lobby unclean. Hallway to our room unclean. Room just dirty-looking. Toilet paper holder in bathroom almost rusted away! No phone in room. Alarm clock broken. Carpet dirty. Everything in room just dingy looking. Found a dirty pair of socks halfway under one of the beds. Blood spot on floor near window. Next morning when taking a shower, found blood on two places on white shower curtain. I can't believe we actually stayed there! Towels felt like sandpaper. Everything just old and run down. I can't believe this place is still open for business. Stains on both bedspreads.

My daughter wanted to get married on New Years Eve. This was the only place we could find a room a month before the wedding. We came and checked it out, not the best place but the banquet room was suitable. We agreed on a price and was told my daughter could access the room a day early to decorate. Three hours before the wedding they told my daughter the price was double of what we agreed upon. When I arrived I got them to drop the price some, but then when they charged my card they jacked it back up. I had no choice to pay because it was only hours before the wedding and they had me over a barrel. They told me we could cancel and go somewhere else. So we ended up doing it. The hallways were freezing. We had to find the heat controls for the banquet room ourselves as they would not turn it up for us. I stayed in the hotel that night and the room smelled. No breakfast. The indoor pool had no water in it. The place is a dump. The staff can barely speak English and are rude and arrogant. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and disputing the charge on my credit card. Beware of this place!

Well we go there a lot and I like it it has nice people there and it's just right.

They attract the wrong kind of people. Someone pulled fire alarm at 2 am. Wasn't even a kid, on top of that, their Wi-Fi was bad, bed hurt my back, and I saw chocolate caked into the carpet. Kinda gross place.

Horrible horrible place, roaches, no free breakfast, stinky, and rude service. I didn't even want to sleep in my bed because the sheets had stains and burn marks on them.

Scarry place. The pics of the pool area were from a long time ago. The only good thing I can say for this location is no bedbugs. That and its not frequented by working girls at least openly. Only 1 lamp worked when we opened the door, and the batteries were not in the TV control. Mold in the bathroom, elevator barely worked. Many other options for a place to stay, use them.

1st There is a pool but OUT OF ORDER a maintenance man said he would fix it up next year… 2nd Law Enforcement is here bout every day… 3rd Fire alarm gets pulled or goes off at 2am because of someone smoking in a NON-SMOKING ROOM… I was to receive Discount staying here & paying $531 every 2 weeks @ $265.86 a week been here 2 months Thank God I am moving back home Oct. 2nd 2015… 4th the desk clerks are getting drunk on a Friday with friends driving eratically through parking lot almost ramming front door still no AC in lobby or breakfast except coffee … the doors are not all locked … no one is at front desk walking out at 4am for work to see you leave… You pay for 2 weeks and your key has to be programmed to get back in coming from work to retrieve your things… The staircase windows are being kept open… when the maids come through the hallway reeks of HIGH CHLORINE… BEDS DONT GET CHANGED AT APPROPRIATE TIMES… DO NOT DISTURB MEANS NOTHING… NEED I SAY MORE?

Well to start off the pictures are definitely not what it says it is me n my friend stayed as we were the only females in there our room was flat out disgusting they had phones but could not use them as no phone service was available the phones were dead, as well as the doors were busted toothpaste all 9 very the doors shot dripping down the wall tried to get a refund told us no they would upgrade us to a king size bed well just say we got a oversize twin and mold on the shower curtain no maid service no breakfast as advertised tried to call the manager the guy said he didn't have time to talk I will be turning them in anyone that's wants to help let me know.

Horrible! I walked into the place thinking I walked onto the set of a Stanley Kubrick film. There was no AC in the lobby. The elevator was filthy, graffiti on the walls in the hallway. And the hotel room. Ugh. The fridge leaked so there was a giant wet spot on the floor. Cigarette burns on the bed. In the shower there was some mysterious orange stuff in the shower. OH, a giant hole in the ceiling of the bathroom stuffed with a paper towel?! And the desk was sticky, so gross. I had booked two nights but only stayed one of those.

Unfortunately I can't give a zero star rating. The owner is a self entitled arrogant greedy douche bag from India. He does not care about customer service at all, just money. He's very rude and disrespectful to customers as well as his employees, It's no wonder they don't care or try to make the place any better. Even his own family hates him. It's a real shame to see hard working Americans struggle to run a legit business and provide good customer service to their patrons and treat their employees with respect and pay them enough to not want to throw themselves off a rooftop. And then you see these slumlord Immigrants like him come here and cut every corner they possibly can to put a few extra bucks in their pocket and have absolutely no respect for the people that patronize their shoddy business and treat their employees like crap… we let them come here, and they abuse every privilege they are given. And the bad part is, scumbags like him make it harder on the immigrants that come here and actually are decent people and want to run a legit business.

Hated it worst hotel ever very rude at front desk got woke up in middle of night. Front desk forgot he checked us into different room and checked another guest in. Got money back for second night went to different hotel. Yuck yuck.

The website says there's a hot breakfast. There's NO breakfast. We stayed there friday and saturday. I went to find coffee at 10am and was told "No more coffee". I had to drive 2 miles for coffee. The pool looks like the bottom of a broken toilet with diarrhea. The exercise room has equipment that is freyed. It may be cheap but you get what you pay for.

I guess if you want to take your hooker and do some drugs, this is the place to go. I felt so gross being here, but we couldn't afford to stay anywhere else. The owners are rude. Outside stinks and has gas or antifreeze all over he ground, elevator smells like some kind of gas, no breakfast or if they did have any they didn't let us know because we couldn't see it when we went down stairs, found dead bugs on the window seal, no vending machines. The pool wasn't filled (I wouldn't have swam in it anyways), the water barely gets hot and probably so much more I don't know about. I'd be embarrassed to say I own this hotel. This place is GROSS.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It took 3 different staff members 20 minutes to check us in. Cleanliness was at an all time low including the upkeep/maintenance (Incorrectly numbered rooms, broken fixtures, no deadbolt locks on doors, etc. ) Their advertised pictures and services were all lies. All around, a horrible place to even lay your head down.

Horrible experience, rude people, they do not clean very well or ever, smells funny in tge hallways. Do not even bother EVER! Save your grief.

No. Just, No. I stayed there 8 nights (Don't ask why). (1) Trail Mix was spilled out on the stairs and stayed there my entire visit. (2) the elevators threatened to stop working every day. (3) Spider webs aligned the halls and stairwells. (4) No A/C in the halls so doors and windows to the building are always open. (5) Entire building STANK. I would hold my breath in the halls. (6) I paid EXTRA MONEY for breakfast. Upon arrival, there was a sign stating breakfast was no longer offered at the hotel. Of course I asked for my money back, but they said, "NO. This is America. A few dollars is no big deal. " Do you really need more reasons to NOT STAY HERE.

They literally stole money. They told me the bill was $93 which I paid in cash, but the receipt said $77. Never ever go here. The manager was terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Owners engage in corrupt business practices. The night before my checkout I requested a later check out. The desk worker agreed and changed the checkout time for an additional hour. Upon arriving back at the hotel the following day 15 minutes prior to my checkout, my room card had been deactivated. They insisted that an hour extension costs $10 and refused to open my door. With my dog in the room. Until I paid. They then billed my credit card $20.00. The owners are arrogant Indians that curse at you and engage in criminal activity. Should they challenge this review, I will defend it legally with credit card statements to back my allegations. I also recorded the interaction with them.

What can you expect for a $50 room? Well, certainly something better than this I should hope. Horrifying stains covering the walls as well as everything else in the room. Holes punched in the walls. Window actually opened to where you could throw objects out, including yourself. Air conditioner has not been cleaned in ages and is therefore ineffective, resorted to leaving the mini fridge open all night. Bed comforter had stains. Everything was sticky, it's as if housekeeping went through the cleaning checklist without ever once setting foot in the room. Things only got more filthy if you left the room and explored the hotel. Pool looked decent but I didn't want to risk getting staph infection that night.
