Bed bugs, roaches and completely unprofessional.

They have bed bugs and roaches.

What motel closes a pool for an entire day (but employees are swimming) and doesn't tell someone before they check in. Basically if you work here you can swim, if you pay to stay here you can't? Wow.

Dead cockroach in bed! Mold in bathroom. I came to stay here at 7/7/2018 and when I walked in the lobby it smelt as if they had a bug infestation. I booked 2 rooms from hotwire, so when I went in the room to check it out it smelt horrible, it had a dead cockroach in the bed and mold on the bathroom ceiling and on the tub itself. The lady at the front had no idea what she was doing and was rude. They only offered me a room transfer which was not ok to me especially since I am pregnant and have a 4 year old with me. They would not give me a refund. I had to call hotwire and they put a stop on the payment. Do not book a room here!

Get what you pay for… low price, no frills, decent enough room for a night's rest.

Outside of building is in need of renovation. Building needs a new parking lot. Dead bugs in hallways were unsightly but rooms were very clean and nice. Pool and gazebo area was really nice as well and got the room for really fair price so good value for money.

It has been a year since we checked in, the longer we stayed the less they wanted to do for us. The first thing to go without notice was tp — if they want you as an extended guest to bring your own they should tell you at check in because technically your payment includes it daily. The next thing to go was regular housekeeping, they came 2X a week and mopped & changed sheets. The next and last thing to cut out was the number of towels we got each week; because of health issues I need a clean towel for each shower and I like one for my head also. I got an argument about that all the time.
I liked the neighbors there and a few of the staff who were helpful but that was it.
By the time we left I had some sort of allergic thing going on since they cleaned the ac units. 2 months of pure torture and doctor visits. Nothing was helping the allergy symptoms to improve until we moved — I still have the bronchial problems. Was so glad to move!

It Is Economical If you rent it for a month, cheaper than many other recognized places, but if they offer a kitchen and register you in another that has no kitchen, forget the kitchen because you are not going to give anything.

There are drug needles in the parking lot. (bottom of picture) My motorcycle trailer was hit while it was in the parking lot of this motel. The management was unwilling to review the camera to tell me who hit it. After I filed a police report the manager told me she was "unable to find who hit it. " I travel for my job and this place has the worst customer service I have ever been to by a manager.

This place is horrible. We was asked if we wanted a smoking or a non smoking room. We said we didn't care. So they put up in room 210. Well that room is plackered non smoking and the lights didn't work. So we went back down and they put is in room 124. That room is not plackered as a non smoking room. My husband smoked in the room and the next morning we got a 250 dollar charge to our card because my husband smoked in the room. This place needs to train their employees on what rooms are smoking and which rooms are not. They also need to plackered the rooms right. Room was dirty and it stunk. I will not be back.

Stayed here as extended stay. The bedbugs in this place are off the charts. They just evected a grandmother and her two small grandchildren, because the Bedbug In wanted HER to pay $900.00 to fight the infestation in her room. I helped move her to a safe place and while there, EVERY guest I came in contact with had bug bites all up and down their arms and legs. Stay here at your own peril. They will charge your credit card after you leave. I had to cancel my card to stop the charges.

I wish I could give minus stars. My trailer was parked in the parking lot and got ran into. Management told me that she didn't have time to review the footage and they were not responsible for it. Hypodermic needles in the parking lot. If you're looking to score crack and get treated bad by the staff, then this place is for you.

Very disturbing experience here. We discovered our room had bed bugs after I had gotten some bites. We told them about it and they confirmed that there were indeed bed bugs. BUT, they blamed it on us and took no responsibility even though it was evident that bed bug nesting had occurred long before we were there. They didn’t apologize and refused to treat or pay for our belongings to get treated. HORRIBE customer service and a horrible experience for us. Pay a little more and go somewhere cleaner and with better customer service. We sure learned our lesson.

Sorry people running this place rude to the point that we're going to move to another motel and the bed BUGS our room didn't have any but other ones did nasty stay away.

DO NOT STAY HERE! First of all, the pictures online look "decent" but mind you, this is only how a couple rooms look. My wife refused to stay, but due to the time we checked in we didn't have a choice really to leave as we had to be up early the next morning. The second we opened the door, the light switches don't work, etc. We barely wanted to walk in. It looks like a dump to say the least! There were no towels, so the lady had to get us some but "housekeeping is closed after 10 so come back in the morning" I didn't even want to set my bags on the floor, so we set them on the table. Fast forward to later on. An hour after laying in bed I felt like I got bit by something. I was mortified to find a BED BUG on the sheets (did not see any prior to getting into bed as I checked) I already had two bites on my arm. My wife flipped out, I gathered one of the bugs in a cup to bring to the front desk, the lady acted like it was normal, and said there is nothing she can do but refund me or move me rooms. I showed her my arms/legs etc to PROVE there were no previous bites or bumps on me, so I wasn't accused of bringing them in myself. We moved rooms 3x that night, and it didn't happen after the 2nd but with us moving it could have been spreading, or all the rooms have them! When we checked at 6 a. M. We left, was told the manager would "call us" and we never heard back again.

Stayed there for over a year. Couldn't find an apartment. Housekeeping LAZY. MOLD in the rooms. Can't count the times the place had to treat for bed bugs. A lot of drug use going on. Do I sound bitter? Your right I am. I am disabled with a child. My husband was in a fight, started by another guest, and we were kicked out, but the other guest wasn't. My husband was arrested and went to jail. I had just paid for 30 days 10 days before the fight and they refused to refund my money. My daughter and I were put out on the street. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worest enemy!

My wife and I get the jacuzzi room every once in a while just to have a night to unwind. It doesn't have great amenities but for 80 bucks it's alright to me.

It's not anything amazing but the rooms are nice, clean, coffee is ready in the morning, and the rooms are decently furnished. It definitely meets my standards and goes a bit above.

What a shithole! Had my debit card stolen… they dont accept cash… they were not sympathetic at all … treated me like a bum or homeless person going to skip out on them… then when I paidover $500 for 10 days on the last day, came back to no towels at all so I couldnt even shower before my 9 hour drive… Worst ever… EAST ST. Louis is better!

Loved it. So many improvements made. Monica, Alaska and Jessica are the best to work with. Housekeeping also very friendly.

It's a nice place to stay. Not too pricy. It's clean and good a/c. It's got the basics and the people here are nice.

Place is older and doesn't look like much on the outside, but rooms were nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay again. Great prices thank u.

It is a great location and pretty quiet for being on the main road. You also get a great view if the jets flying by from the local Air Force Base.

Horrible service dirty rooms and none of air conditioning units work very good. A lot of drug users hanging around outside all night long… our clothing was stolen out of the washer as well. Complete nightmare.

Worst location ever. None of the amenities as advertised. But Alaska, the hostess was very helpful. Also, lots of bugs.

Ew. Just a nasty, shady place and this was really disappointing for a "Choice" hotel. I had no idea when I reserved this hotel over the telephone. I pulled up and it appeared to be ok. Checked in and the office was decent. Get to the room and the bedding was outdated, the mattress was uncomfortable. The desk was old as you can see in the photos. The lamp shades have water marks and the refrigerator shelving was held together with duct tape (it works for everything). The next morning I go outside to my car for additional luggage and a car is up on jacks in the parking lot. Avoid this train wreck at all costs!

Asked for a non smoking room. I was met at the door by a harsh old smoking smell. Called office and was told there were no other rooms available, but that they would bring the ozone machine to clean the smell out. I was told I would need to leave for about an hour while the machine ran. I took my toddler and left for a few hours. Upon return the room smelled exactly the same. Both lamps in the room had no light bulbs and the glass light covering that should've been attached to the light fixture in the bathroom was left on the table. I called three times about the lamps and was told someone would come fix them, which never happened. The phone in the room also did not work. After coming to work at the hospital I noticed a bad stale cigarette smoke smell coming from my work scrubs! My hospital has a non smoking policy and I work in critical areas. Embarrassing, especially when I don't smoke! I removed my scrub jacket and hand washed it at work. I called the office at Rodeway and explained that this issue could cause an issue even at work. This is going on 4 days now. They stated a non smoking room would be available that day. Once I finally got into the new room, I felt some relief until that night laying in bed when a man used his key to get in our room! Thank God I was under the sheets and had the top lock on! I called and the night receptionist couldn't grasp what had happened and said she would reset my door. Great!

I went to this hotel and there were a group of hookers soliciting to come inside their room. This place is shady never stay there.

Just needed a place to sleep. It is an older hotel so you see spackling from repairs, etc. I'm on a budget and this fit the bill.

It was a great place to hang out.

Hated it. Very dirty, bedbugs, and scary people Live there. Was told by lady living there, cops r around all the time. Horrible service! Nasty place!

Clean, pleasant staff, and a good night's sleep. That's all we needed! We'll stay again.

A little over priced for a monthly rate, terrible WI fi. Employees were great and the rooms are clean. Two bars in walking distance. Doesn't seem to be in bad neighbor.

After checking in, I got on the Wi-Fi and did the check in things, and saw these reviews. Started to freak out I will admit. I ended up pulling back sheets getting down on the ground and looking around. I did breathe a big sigh of relief. The hotel room was very clean, ac worked wonderful, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, The oj was really good quality in the morning. I can say that my stay and my room were wonderful and I would stay again!

If I could rate this Just Awful I would. These people are thieves and liars. They will come up with bogus charges, the management if beyond rude and if you dare complain, they will throw you out on the street and refuse to give you back your money because they will raise the rate on you retroactively. They honestly think they are doing you a favor letting you stay there and will tell you as such. The rooms were plain, it is a place to sleep, nothing more. Extended stay rates would be decent if that was actually what they were going to charge you. Only bright part was the housekeeper, who was wonderful.
