The Man at the front desk came out of the back room barefoot and chewing food, and gruffly asked what we wanted without looking at us. He quoted a higher price that I found online and he refused to acknowledge it. The sign was torn up and the place looked deserted, so we asked if we could see a room, and the man at the front desk refused, rudely saying if we were going to ask for things like that we needed to leave and go to a motel like the super 8. So we did, and that place was much nicer.

The service there is amazing. Super friendly and always there if I need anything.

Very well hotel. Very nice managers and staff. They were very welcoming and helped me with everything I needed. I booked Monday night got the room and stayed until Wednesday. My night here was perfect. Pool was amazing for my family. Bedroom was comfortable and lovely. No bed bugs and no signs of bugs. Staff gave me everything I needed. Hotel I recommend if you come to Worthington, Minnesota. Thank you guys for the lovely stay.

Disgusting, DO NOT STAY HERE. The room was gross, there was jelly on the skirt of the bed. The room stunk, there was someone else’s sunglasses there. I am also pretty sure they had bed bugs, the seams of the beds were gross. The manager was very very rude, I asked for refund and he said we would get it once I get ahold of bookings ended up having to pay 35 cancellation fee and a random charge of 75$. I seriously DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

Don't judge a book by its cover. Wonderful room. Clean, organized and had everything needed for my stay. Pool was clean. Staff were VERY welcoming.

AAA had it posted as pet friendly. But they only allow dogs. No cats. Just dogs. What do they think a cat will do to the room? Deposit a little fur everywhere? Well, then get better people cleaning the rooms so 1 cat hair won't scare people away.

Not staying here again. Weird smell. Had to buy a scented candle. Fairly dirty. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Toilet and shower leaking. Didn't shovel the walks clear of snow and ice. Did I mention that smell? Lots of better options in Worthington. Just don't.

The manager has the worse customer service. I am a wyndham employee and I got an email a day I was to arrive that my reservation was cancelled because it was too low. It was only a 20.00 difference. I will never stay here. They were rude. Unbelievable. If an employee gets treated this way cant imagine how a customer gets treated.

Reserved a room for Wednesday (12/20/2017) on the Days Inn website. Less than two hours later, our daughter got sick and threw up all over herself and the car. We called to cancel the reservations. The gal working the front desk was less than helpful saying no more than if you made the reservation online you need to cancel online. So, we did that not realizing that we were going to get charged for the room regardless. Called back to see if they would reverse the charges and the gal working the front desk and the manager booth told us that we'd have to take that up with the online site customer service. We called the customer service number and their response was that it was up to the discretion of the hotel's manager to reverse the charges. We called the hotel back with this information and even asked to them to still honor our reservation. They wouldn't do either. Don't give these crooks your money. We'll be disputing the charges with our bank.

Agree with Jacob Metz post below — not just this place though — had similar experience down the road at the super 8. Both places virtually empty. Super 8 lady was fine with me leaving to go find another place after she wouldn't honor the on line price — then this Days inn tried to jack up the price too but kept it down to adding 5$ for an extra kid. Also had to book on line standing there at the desk for them to budge initially. Ridiculous. Room was ok so far so 2 stars.

The location was perfect. The room was as expected for the price. It wasn't anything fancy. Needs a little updating but other than that it was just ok. It has a microwave and a mini fridge. The room was good for a short stay.

If you don't want to read full review… Just make sure you double check what you're being charged at the counter with what the published rate for your room is! I arrived at this hotel in the evening around 11pm after speaking with whoever was working there on the phone to confirm they had a non-smoking room available. When I got there and went inside to make my reservation and confirm that there was still non-smoking rooms available to which I was told there was. The man working initially tried to charge me double the listed price for a room. When I questioned him and showed him what the room was listed at on their website, he then said that was an online rate and if I wanted to pay that I would have to book it online. So I go through the process of booking online… once that is done I show give him my confirmation number expecting the rest of the process to go smoothly. He then informs me that he has no more rooms available that are non-smoking. (Even though less than 5 min. Ago he had non-smoking, and online I was able to book non-smoking) He wanted to over charge me, and then was upset when I didn't just blindly pay the number he threw out. I had to then go through the whole process of calling their corporate office and getting a full refund. Bad business ethics to try to over charge someone then suddenly no longer have a room you had 5 min prior.

The pet friendly room we were given smelled of heavy cigarette smoke even though rooms are to be smoke free. Main door stuck easily and seemed too big for frame as we were unable to lock with the deadbolt. Bed linens seemed outdated. Great to have mini fridge and microwave and easy access from the interstate.

No frills here. BUT the room is clean, the bed is SUPER comfy and it is half the price of other places in the area. The folks that own the place are polite and respectful. If you are on a budget and looking to get your moneys worth, this place will do the trick.

The best hotel or motel! We got a lovely room this hotel has a ice machine! Pool! So much space! Working soda machine! And I bought a cold water bottle at the front desk!

Amazing place! We got the best breakfast including awesome Donuts! We also got. — A awesome pool with chairs and tables! — — Amazing Suite room with a Whirlpool and 2 Tv's — — And amazing managers we were given the price of the rooms that they said we would get — In all the best Hotel in Worthington, Minnesota. I'll be staying here the next time :)

We came in after 10 p. M after looking up hotel online. We were charged $30 more than website quoted. His reasoning was because we checked in at counter instead of online (on his hotel page) I said so you are charging us 30 more to come in and in his broken english he said yes, that is my policy. The room was so so, breakfast was a few stale bagels and cereal. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and I have never been charged more for checking in at the counter! Will never stay here again! Definitely not a $110 room!

Nice pet friendly hotel for the price. Nothing fancy, but a small indoor pool, free hot breakfast, and friendly owners. Dogs allowed in some rooms. Close to a few restaurants and Walmart. Mini fridge in room.

Absolutely wonderful people. Hospitality was phenomenal. Super friendly. Very helpful. If we needed anything they were eager and prompt to help. They went above and beyond! Room was nice and clean. The pool was really great too. My husband and I agree this is our new favorite place to stay in worthington and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

First off I travel the country for my job and stay in hotels… this place should be ashamed to claim the "Days Inn" name! The Wi-Fi constantly turns on and off requiring you to sign in each time. The beds are not comfortable! The housekeeping is non existent and if they do come it's 4 to 5 in the evening! I stayed here 6 nights and 3 of them off for memorial day weekend and just amazed at the dirty carpets the broken chair and the breakfast o the breakfast… I say skip unless you want bubble gut all day! There's more but what's the point! Stay elsewhere! The Wi-Fi pissed me off so bad!

A decent hotel with kind staff. The rooms are a little dated, but the beds were comfortable and clean.

Room was reasonably clean, but for a non-smoking facility, there was a noticeable odor. Come for the fine deal, not the decor.

Some small quirks in the room (creaking tub, dip in the floor) but was clean, quiet, comfortable and cheap. Breakfast was great and even though the milk machine was broken, they had lots on hand. All in all, I'd stay again.

Rude, loud unreasonable Badlüftung, smells damp… And not exactly cheap. The Breakfast is the usual unacceptable stuff, since it continues to prefer to be hungry.

If you have a service dog or an emotional support dog, steer far away from this place! They will try to charge you $300 a night and you'll only notice when you get your credit card statement. Also when I was in the lobby a black couple had come in and asked for a room, which there were at least 10 rooms left, and we're told they had no rooms left.

Very well, the bed is perfect, the pool is clean, my liked the Hot tub.

We had an accident so we must stay at the hotel for four days. We got a lot of help from management of the hotel. We got an exellent service and all hotel staff was trying to help us and fulfill our requests. We had a comfortable clean room and got towels changed every day. We were surprised how nice and friendly people are in that small town. We definitely recommend this hotel. Big thank you for hotel stuff and management.

For a cheap hotel it was very clean and quiet with comfy beds. BYOBreakfast advised.

I didn't even bother booking a room. Made the phone call and talked to two different people, neither of which could be understood because neither can speak English. The only thing I understood is that they were going to charge me $25 per night more than the rate advertised online. If making a reservation is that much of a hassle, there's no way I'm going to actually stay at this hotel.

Very friendly staff, got a great deal on a family size room with no advance reservation. Very clean and spacious. I would deffinatly recommend over some of the $$$ hotels.

Stay here if you don't need to be treated well. We made a reservation for two nights on line. It was a "pre pay — no cancel" reservation, $59/ night. Right! We checked in for the second night only, expecting to eat the $59 for the first night. The bill was $148.00 (once room fees and taxes were charged) and then I was told my reservation (a room with two queen beds) was for 1 adult only and since my 20 year old daughter was with me, I was charged and extra $10. So, I paid $159.00 for one night. On Saturday morning, at 9:45, we went looking for the complimentary breakfast, and ONLY THEN were informed that the breakfast ended at 9. Obviously, this owner is not looking for return quests.

We stayed at this hotel in May 2014 and were very pleased. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I had Wi-Fi problems and the owner went above and beyond to help me resolve this issue. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great value for the money. The rest of the town was booked solid and they still gave us a good deal on the room. Facilities were spacious and clean for the most part.

I'm not one to take the time to write reviews, but I was so angry with the way the owners of the Days Inn in Worthington handled themselves and my reservation that I didn't want this to happen to anyone else. I was advised to book a room early due to the Sturgis Rally going on in August. I reserved the room with my credit card in April and received a confirmation number. I was part of a wedding party and when we showed up after the reception to check in the managers wife told us she had given our room to someone else! She reported that she had called to see if we still wanted the room and gave it to someone else because we didn't respond. I informed her I was at a wedding and did not have my phone on me. I also tried to explain to her that if I hadn't shown up she could have just charged my credit card! I mean isn't that the point of having it on file?! She was very rude and unsympathetic to the whole situation and told me there was no other rooms available. I had picked their hotel because it was a bit cheaper than others in town. My advice is to spend the little extra money because they offer no customer service what so ever and you may not get the room you reserve.
