Thank you for a wonderful week! The resort is clean and neat, the staff is the best, and the guest are even friendly and nice! Super food to be enjoyed in the restaurant also! Those Navajo tacos are the best!

First time visitor and our family loves it we will be back. The cabins are awesome and the staff is very helpful. I highly recommend we’ve been coming up here for 30 years and first year here and our best resort so far.

Nicest place on Leech! I have guided out of every resort on Leech in my 35 years on Leech. DEFINITELY TOP NOTCH! And He may look like a football player or body builder! But Ben makes prime rib as good as it can get! My compliments young man! 🙏🏾😇

Cabins are very clean. Have just about everything necessary. Just bring your own towels.

Hiawatha Beach is a really wonderful resort! It is very well maintained, has helpful and caring staff, nice cabins, great beach and pool, lots of activities, excellent views, good fishing right out front. We rented a pontoon boat and it was very nice. Our family has been coming here for around 25 years.

Cannot remember a Resort so thoughtful as HBR! Excellent facilities well appointed but when they 'threw in' a complementary bottle of wine for us celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary… too much.

Very friendly, best resort we have been to with the best accomodations. Heated pool, water trampolines, playground, volleyball, Sandy Beach with full bar, tons of staff list goes on…

Angry owners or managers sent dnr on us when no laws were broken… just a tool to harass us.

My Husband, kids and I stayed here for a weekend getaway hosted by the City of Walker and the WWP. Great people, cozy cabins and Leeche Lake right in front of you. Fun Family friendly environment!

Love this resort! We camped with a few other families! It was perfect, had plenty of room for yard games and the kids to run and play! We all enjoyed the lake toys, pool and hot tub! It was a perfect weekend!

My family spent a week here in the campground. It was wonderful! The shower house was clean and trashes emptied everyday. The layout is a little tricky and the campers are tight together but there is green space that helped with room to play. We booked our family vacation for 2019 before we left. The week of activities is great to keep everyone busy. The fishing in the marina was great.

Amazing place for a family vacation! There's something for everyone — nice sandy beach, water trampolines, indoor pool/hot tub, arcade room and fun activity options. Staff was very friendly and attentive!

Nice place we tented in one of the 5 places to tent. Had firewood kids could fish off docks. Hot tub and pool a bonus.

Love this place! I used to work here and now come back as a guest and a photographer. Most recently, I photographed a wedding here and it was stunning! This gorgeous picturesque Northern Minnesota wedding venue is the perfect spot to say "I do! " Plus, it's a family-owned venue and they do such a great job getting everything set for couples' big days. Accommodations are available onsite for wedding guests which is a great option to have! Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a Northern Minnesota wedding venue!

Hiawatha Beach Resort not only played a major role in my childhood, but it's an absolute staple of the Walker/Leach Lake Community. They do an amazing job of creating a home away from home experience, always treating you as their own. Hiawatha Beach Resort is a wonderful place to vacation. Whether you are a family with kids or a couple looking for peace and quiet, this is your place! The Jacobson Family and staff are friendly, helpful and always make us feel right at home. The staff always ask if we need anything and with a beautiful harbor there is no need to worry about the safety of your boat or jetski. The amenities are endless and make vacationing stress free. We look forward to our next stay!

Everything here was amazing. The stunning view, the lights, rooms and costumer service was great. They served delicious foods in their restaurants.

We had a very nice time, but to short! Everyone was very helpful the cottage was clean and neat. I think some new rustic bedspreads would go a long way in making the cottage more charming. Our fishing guide, Ted Gwinn was great! Thanks for being so accommodating everyone!

My family and I have been making memories at Hiawatha Beach Resort for years! The food is amazing and staff is caring and warm. Plenty of room for kids to play and do activities and the beach is always clean!

We live in California with lots of family in Minnesota. The highlight of every summer for all of us has been the two weeks we spend together at Hiawatha Resort. We have all ages from 6 months to 81 years and have needed to use both the larger and smaller Cottages, the Harbor House, and lodge units to bring all our family together. Hiawatha Beach is perfect for all ages. We rent their ski boat for tubing, waterskiing and boarding, plus they have a wonderful sandy beach with lots of water toys. Hiawatha Resort is owned and managed by The Jacobson family over the years they have always gone out of their way to accommodate our group and insure that we are well taken care of. Fantastic!

The Family 2015 Reunion was held last week at Hiawatha Beach Resort on Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota. There were 80 Family members in attendance and nearly all of them were there for the entire week. There have been many improvements with a new lodge that includes a restaurant and several guest rooms that sleep from two to sixteen people. One thing that did not change was the wonderful hospitality of Larry and Sue and their sons Ben and AJ. There were many activities that took place during the week including a golf outing, swimming, playing on the beach, water skiing, fishing, etc. Our group dinner for everyone eating out was held right at the resort. With the new and large dining room in the Lodge, we were able to have the dinner right at the resort with plenty of room for all 80 family members. Some of us stayed in the Lodge rooms and others were in the cabins. There were large open areas where we could congregate as a group or just hang out in our rooms or cabins when needed. Everyone had a great time and we will certainly return again for future reunions.

My brother invited my wife, my kids and I to Leech Lake one summer, and since then, I’ve taken my family for a little family vacation every now and again. Whenever we go, we stay at Hiawatha Beach Resort. Staying there magnifies the entire experience. We are guaranteed to always have a great time and an enjoyable stay.

I think the best part about Hiawatha are the views. Coming from a barren desert, it is so nice to see water. I am normally not even one to write these kinds of reviews, but I had to give props where they are due. Hiawatha knows how to do a resort, and do it right. I enjoyed every second, and I can’t wait to come back.

My buddies and I spent the weekend at Hiawatha Beach not too long ago, and we were in 7th heaven. We’ve already made plans for another weekend. It’s perfect for getting away from the family. The lake is really something special and we got some great fishing days in. See you soon.

What a wonderful paradise in Minnesota! Honestly, I didn’t know what to think when my son mentioned a getaway in Minnesota. He and his wife and kids tagged along, and the trip was better than I could have imagined. I love the scenery and the quiet of the forests. The lake was beautiful each and every day, and I’m trying to make this our regular go to :).

My husband and I had been looking for a rural escape for a couple weeks when we stumbled upon Hiawatha. When we saw all the pictures we were pleasantly surprised by the room rates and had to book. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and Bill and I had a nice time too. I would definitely recommend this resort for any family that really wants to unwind and getaway, it’s a great spot.

Campground was nice and quiet. Pools was nice and heated, had stuff to do for the kids. The service was terrible, slow and very unfriendly. They didn't know what they were doing it's a shame for such a nice place. Good service goes along way.

My family and I had a fantastic weekend at Hiawatha Beach Resort on Leech Lake. The resort accommodations, amenities, and staff were fantastic. We would highly recommend Hiawatha Beach Resort to all of our friends and family. The fishing was also great too.
