Tucked away amid wooded area this Marriott is a few minutes walk from some businesses also located in this sequestered area. The wedding reception we attended here was well appointed, well run and well staffed for the large party. I only wish I had another lovely wedding reception to attend here!

Our family hosted a get-together at the Marriott and had the pleasure of working with Rebekah Thomas and Bennett. They put on a beautiful evening for us — took away all the worries of entertaining 50 people. Everyone enjoyed the evening — the food was fabulous and the service over the top. Thanks for the attention to details and for making our event so special.

I have stayed here multiple times. As the clock ticks, they continued to increasingly impress. Overwhelmingly delightful staff, decent food, decent Lounge, and rooms that they keep trying to improve after a rework didn't work so well. Can now solidly recommend them.

I attended an event and picked up a friend from this venue. UT was very well set up, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'd certainly visit again and recommend.

Love the staff and the M Club. However, this was my second time staying there in a month (both for 4+ nights) and the food choices at the restaurant are getting stale. Good drinks and relatively good service, but would like more or different food options when I come back. Great location if you have work to do at the UnitedHeath or Optum campuses, as there are Shuttles that will take you there or even a walking path if you so desire. Internet is sufficiently fast, even for the free option, and beds are nice. Water is a bit too soft for my taste, but I'm from AZ where we don't often soften our water.

Nice building, nice linens… Otherwise a disappointment. The service in the bar for both food and beverages was extremely slow. It didn't seem busy and I couldn't figure out where the bar tenders kept disappearing to. There was an event going on, but if they were tending to that, then they were understaffed. The following morning at breakfast, there were over a dozen tables waiting to be cleared and people waiting. Again, not super busy and it was a buffet, so it would seem to be easy to manage, but apparently was not.

Walls are paper thin. I can hear neighbors entire phone conversations — as if they were in the room with me, bathroom routines and when a hallway door slams it literally shakes the room. I’ve stayed here 4x in the last 6 months and I’m ready to try another hotel. I can’t get a goodnight sleep here. I’ve also eaten at the restaurant a few times — food is pretty good and overpriced IMO. Bar gets loud and seems like a fun hangout for colleagues traveling.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here back in Sept 2018. Our reception was in the front half of the Lake Minnetonka Ballroom and it was perfect! The set-up was not terrible and the coordination between all of the vendors and the hotel was seamless. Our guests loved the ballroom and the hotel overall.

Clean, modern hotel. The entire hotel, including the rooms, was hot and stuffy. Our room had 2 full beds instead of Queens. Much too small for 2 people to sleep in comfortably, especially in a stuffy room. Ran AC entire time throughout our 2 night stay with no success. Service at bar was slow.

I went here for a banquet. The food offered was fresh, healthy, and presented in a pleasant fashion. Waiters and waitresses were quite amiable, adding to the high-quality atmosphere. I did not lounge here, but if the quality of lodging is at all comparable to the superb dining I experienced I believe a stay would be worth anyone's while.

Once again, the business center was not working properly. This is such an important service for business travelers who require last minute printing for work, etc. The staff however we incredibly helpful in printing from behind the counter. Other Marriott's have not been that way. Also, linens were not as nice as they should be for a JW. Up your game!

Stayed overnight before the drive back home while retuning from vacation in Hawaii. This room was an upgrade since I am Platinum Member. But I was so surprised to get such great service! No problems with check in even at Midnight! Hotel and rooms are in great shape and I didn't get to do much there but I would stay again. It is about 15 minutes from the airport and better that the Springhill and Fairfield's I have stayed at in the past for about the same price. Video on the YouTube Channel. Thanks for reading.

We've stayed at this hotel several times for family events and each time they have taken care of our needs. This most recent time, Kenyetta went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we had a space to celebrate my nephew's birthday. She even had a little gift for him when we checked in. Being spread out, we don't get to have the whole family together often. She made sure it was perfect for us!

I have to say I was very impressed with my stay here. I had a little trouble getting checked in on the first day at no fault of the hotel, but after that everything went above and beyond my expectations. The second afternoon of my stay, I received a hand written appreciation card and snack for my troubles at check in. How sweet is that?! This is a beautiful, clean and welcoming place to stay!

I cannot vouch for much about the hotel aside from a passing impression visiting family who were staying at the location. In this fleeting hour, however, the building appeared to have any standard of convenience that could be expected in the luxury of a modern business-class hotel. The room was tastefully adorned and the appliances up-to-date, with connections for whatever devices you may travel with. The rest of the facility was no less satisfactory, with a clean lobby and bar area and a friendly staff working at the coffee counter. My only lament is that the pastries at this counter did not look nearly up to their four dollar price tag.

The staff was super pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located away from the city so it made for a great "getaway. " It was easily accessible to all major attractions which was very convenient. The food at the restaurant was delicious despite the slow service and higher end price. I would defin2stay here again!

We came here for a mini vacation and have loved our stay! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating to our requests at check in. The in-house restaurant is a little on the pricy side, and we weren't terribly impressed with the service the one night we ate in, but the food was great just the same. We also enjoyed spending some time in the hotel sauna and whirlpool. The location is in a pretty quiet, well-maintained area of town, and the immediate surroundings and hotel grounds are beautiful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we'd gladly visit again!

I was attending a conference in one of their ballrooms. The meals and snacks provided throughout the day were great and staff continually asked if there was anything needed. Would love to visit again!

This place deserves all 5 stars. Accommodations are well appointed. The place is huge; pool, gym, restaurant on-premises, an outside relaxation area, huge parking lot and garages. Genuinely wonderful customer experience. Staff are friendly and courteous. They are quick to respond and efficient. I've had no issues here and would recommend to stay.

Clean, spacious rooms. Attentive staff. Nice views for a hotel. Shower was marble and very elegant.

Check-in went well and we were able to move to higher floor. Room was clean and comfortable. Their outdoor patio was amazing! What a great place to relax! The only thing that I was not ok with was the hot tub… which we were really looking forward to. We barely got in and realized the awful smell coming from it. So bad that we got out immediately! No hot tub should ever smell like that.

Some rooms have an adjoining door between two rooms. This is the typical double set of doors that lock from each side. The door in our room had a gasket seal on one for but not both. The doors seemed to be light weight construction. This results in nose caring between rooms. Our first room we could hear people talking through the door to the adjoining room. Staff moved us to a room with no one next door and the rest of our stay was great.

Was there for a conference. The conference rooms were pretty nice. But the lobby area was fantastic. Looked very well kept and inviting.

I attended a dinner/event at the hotel. The facilities are nice, the staff was friendly, helpful and professional and the food was really good!

By far the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, I loved the shower as well. The restaurant has great fish tacos.

Food was good. Good options for dietary restrictions. Venue was nice overall, though I was distracted by the asymmetrical wallpaper.

The staff was warm and welcoming. However, the bathroom in my room was a bit dirty. The towels were stained and the toilet had a few stray hairs on and around the seat.

The room was nice and had an amazing shower. I did have issues with the cable and Internet being unavailable but that was due to weather. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Was there for a conference lobby was great as well as the staff. The room we were in was a bit stuffy and had a particular smell to it. Breakfast and lunch were provided and they were both good. I enjoyed the baked salmon.

We recently had our wedding at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest. It was a fabulous experience, and our guests especially loved the beautiful renovated rooms and space. Thank you to the amazing staff and Marriott team who worked diligently to show professionalism, creativity, and timeliness. It was an event to remember for all! Thank you!

We are currently staying here til Sunday July 24th. We headed into the cities Friday after work it's a 6 hour drive for us so was looking for a nice hotel to get to and relax… I finally found this hotel after 2 hours of looking we booked a king suite with a pullout couch because we brought our 2 kids… we get to the room to find one bed and no couch! We called the front desk and the lady was far from caring what we had to say! On top of that it was 1 am and our air conditioner didn't seem to be working correctly and no one seemed to care about that! It was hot and uncomfortable to try to sleep! Beautiful hotel but not impressed with the service we received! I have one kid on a rollaway and one on the floor because the gal at the front desk didn't really care that we had four people staying with us! Probably won't stay here again : (

On Mother's Day I felt cherished and treasured.

Most the staff were very nice. I could hear commotion in hallway, from doors slamming to kids. I am a reward member so I received internet but otherwise I would have been upset having to pay $10 a day. Only one waitress staffed on a Saturday night and she was overly busy which made the wait time long. But she was so awesome it was hard to care. I'm not sure I would stay again.

Clean hotel that is about 10 minutes away from the Mall of America. Lobby is updated, however the rooms and common areas are not. Feels quite dated, small rooms and to charge for Wi-Fi when a majority of hotels in the Marriott family do not is not acceptable in this age.

It is a nice hotel, but charging $10.95 for Internet in 2013? Scammy.

189 a night and they still require you to pay 12.95 for Internet access? Gouge.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here! The lobby is more alive and exciting than most — a bar, a cafe and a very contemporary check-in desk. The room was nicely appointed — — we received an upgrade because of a booking snafu — — made the few moments of frustration more than worth it! Very friendly and efficient staff. Will stay here again.
