Great hotel, right in the heart of downtown. The room was a great size, bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great, with a fantastic shower head. View from my room wasn't great and I didn't dine in the hotel, but I'd visit again on my next trip.

Modern decorations, very friendly, patient desk staff. Couldn't get connected to the internet, kept saying unavailable. Wish I didn't have to get all the way into the shower to turn it on and dance while adjusting temperature. Nice to find inexpensive parking an easy walk from hotel. They have s convenient off road drop off spot.

Cute hotel. Decent location and the rooms are amazing. All of them are different. I'm not a fan of the valet … they mean well but do not communicate with the other valet. You tell one person something specific about your car and the others do not know. Can ruin things in your car if not careful.

Nice big lobby. $75/nightly hold charge wasn't mentioned anywhere. Elevator had what looked like blood/puke stains on its floor. Room had high ceilings and a nice bathroom which featured nice smelling soap and a large glass door shower. However, the view was that of an alleyway and office cubicles, the carpet was stained and grungy looking, nightstands are dusty, no bag for the ice bucket, and the ice bucket was dirty. Overall it feels like it's trying to be something it's not. Would not book again, don't waste your time or money.

I'm only part way through my stay here but so far I'm very pleased with The Hotel Minneapolis. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early because they happened to have a room available. The room and bathroom are both very nice and spacious. It is within walking distance to plenty of things downtown and also very convinently located near public transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

The few issues I have aren't exclusive to the hotel. I understand parking downtown is at a premium. However for them to not be allowed to disclose parking rates nearby is poor business. Also the $13.95 daily charge for Wi-Fi is outrageous. It will keep me from staying here again. I failed to mention the pleasantries. The gentleman in the restaurant who offered to help me get my food to the room went above and beyond. Also every one of the front desk staff that I encountered were certainly worthy of holding a position where you interact with people. Most impressive, as was the hotel itself. I may stay again in the future after all for a special occasion.

The staff is super friendly with valet parking, and front desk. And the rooms are super swanky. The bathroom had a shower you could ride a horse through and the doors were solid glass. It wasn't the cheapest around but it sure was nice.

Lovely boutique hotel located in downtown Minneapolis. Close to everything, but not right in the middle of it, which I liked. Very nice quality furnishings with attention to the details in the room and common areas. This hotel was clean, quiet, and it had all the extras for the security conscious patron.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hotel Minneapolis. The room was great and the location is tough to beat. Overnight parking was $40 which is ridiculous but I found a ramp a block away for less than half. We would stay there again for sure.

The autograph is a beautiful hotel that used to be a bank. There is a cool vault door in the lobby. The staff are a bit unhelpful and inflexible when it comes to even slightly out of box demands. I was disappointed. The room was spacious and un-boxy (mine was not a rectangle). Shower pressure was good. Great toiletries. Dark room so getting dressed in the morning was a challenge. Breakfast downstairs was uncrowded and good — the waitress was very sweet.

Cool vibe in this renovated bank building. The rooms are fairly large for a downtown hotel and are very comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly during my stay. The hotel is also quite convenient to many major destinations downtown as well as the light rail, which stops just a block away.

Customer service is good. I am happy. They let me check out late at 1 for no extra chảge. But the room seems small and more on par with 3 stars hotels. Beware that valet taking is $40. Or you park in parking garage elsewhere.

Great service, fancy hotel for what I am used to. Lots of amenities although I didn't really utilize them. Pain that you have to use your room keys for the elevator.

This was my first time staying at the Hotel Minneapolis Autograph, and I can't say enough great things about this place! Brennan, at the front desk was so helpful and kind, he made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was upgraded at check in and we were also allowed a late checkout. The hotel is in a great location, everything you need is in walking distance, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, and more. The hotel offers valet parking for your convenience, or you can park in the ramp. We chose to valet, our bags were put on a cart and brought up to the room for us. The room itself was clean, updated, stylish and had great views! I was highly impressed and will definitely be going back. Hotel Minneapolis is the place to go if you are staying downtown. Thanks for making our girls weekend so amazing!

We loved it. We used the valet since parking can get tricky downtown. Close to both venues we frequent. We loved the aesthetics. Owned by Marriott and used to be a bank. You can go into the vault and the old school elevators look cool. Beds are comfortable so if this is the same price as anything else you are near, totally snag a chance to go.

Superb Hotel with fabulously friendly, helpful staff. I enjoyed an overnight stay with my mother for her birthday. The location is perfect with tower bridge a short walk away the shard and culinary delights at borough market, we enjoyed it all.

Still a great hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Room was not as clean as usual, but I expect this was a problem with one staff member and not representative of the entire hotel. Found previous occupants key card under the bed and some moldy cereal in the door jamb area.

Good ambiance, nice rooms. They put us on the end of an empty hall next to some noisy neighbors. There was also some water dripping going on in the hallway and the hall smelled a bit musty. With apparent extra space, it felt like we weren't offered the best available rooms for the price.

Very nice hotel right downtown so location is amazing! Small rooms for a lot extra. Very friendly staff. I know you pay extra for location so can't be too crock on price but there were other options for less had the not been a convention of some sort going on that booked everything up. I'd recommend the Marriott AC right down the block though for the price and nicer rooms.

The Hotel Minneapolis is a beautiful property with less-than-pleasant service. The biggest issue with my stay was the restaurant. I went for dinner and breakfast the night I arrived and the morning after, respectively. Though both times there were very few customers (I was the first in the room for breakfast), there were only 1-2 staff and the service was slow and distracted. I also tried calling my order ahead twice during my stay and no one ever answered the phone. Otherwise, there's just a general sense of emptiness and lethargy to the hotel, and some of the service staff were a bit abrasive. The room was nice (although my clock was strangely 2 hours and 48 minutes off so I had to figure out how to set it), with special mention for the shower, which was particularly nice. The gym was also in good order, with more equipment than many places.

The hotel was nice. The decor and setting is very upscale with a classic feel. Room was clean and had everything that I needed. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. The beds and pillows were very soft, a little too soft for me, but if that's what you like, then you're set. The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast bat has maxe to order omelettes, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausages. The food is pretty good, and my burger was great both times that I visited.

Spent a weekend in Minneapolis to see the Twins and Vikings. Easy walking distance to both stadiums — so convenient! Friday evening we stopped in at the hotel's lounge. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and great service from our bartender Viat so much that we stopped in Saturday evening as well!

I love their lobby. They've done a fantastic job building on the existing decor and establishing an atmosphere that is both luxurious and welcoming. My only complaint about the room was the awkwardly place fridge sitting in the floor next to the bathroom. In such a well-appointed space, it came off as an afterthought — not to mention a tripping hazard. In any case, I've stayed there many times, and I'll likely return.

The desk clerks, bartender and room service attendant we interacted with were all very courteous and helpful. Genuinely nice people. Hotel policy would not permit our room to have a cot for our 3rd person so he had to sleep on the floor, but that was partially our fault when booking the room initially. We found reasonable parking accommodations nearby, and the room was pretty nice other than there were some liquid streaks on the wall and desk chair. I'd stay here again for the same pricing deal we found online.

Location is great and the hotel property is historic and very nice. Rooms are not large but are very nice. Bathrooms are very nice with walk in showers with rain heads. Rooms are quiet. Was here over labor day weekend and concierge lounge was closed. Service was slow and staff were not friendly. Maybe just the long weekend. Fitness room is small but equipment is modern and several units so no waiting. Close to river and theatres and in downtown. Close to stadium, easy walk.

I have stayed here a few separate times and every time I am impressed. Beautiful hotel and the rooms are really nice. Comfortable beds. Only "complaint" would be that housekeeping tried to clean room at 930ish and we had not gotten out of bed yet.

I travel to Minneapolis for work on a regular basis and The Hotel Minneapolis is my hotel of choice. This is one of Marriott's Autograph Collection hotels and provides a unique experience with the service you expect from Marriott. The hotel is a renovated bank building and you can even tour the various vaults. The property is well kept, clean, and safe. It has character and is quiet as a tomb in the rooms. The staff service is impeccable and you always feel welcome.

The facilities were extremely clean and updated. It's location above the Max restaurant is perfect for dinner and drinks. It's walking distance from other popular places downtown. The room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Will be visiting again.

The hotel room was small and bed sheets had stains on them. What really ruined out weekend was the attitude of the staff. We were in town for a wedding and went to a cocktail hour at Max the hotels restaurant. The wait staff mistakenly charged our card for the entire parties tab. This caused our bank to put a hold on all of the funds in our account until the following Monday. The waitstaff and hotel desk acted like we had caused them the inconvenience and not once did they apologize. We will never stay here again and would suggest you look for another hotel.

Beware of BED BUGS! My boyfriend and I booked this hotel through Priceline to stay Memorial Day weekend. During the first night of our stay we both woke up to multiple bites, before searching the room we immediately called the front desk to inform them of the bites and inquire on if there was a different room we could be moved to, their answer was "I'm sorry to hear that, but we are booked there are no other rooms. " I proceeded to ask for new sheets and a new comforter which the front desk confirmed they will provide us with, and they never came. My boyfriend and I searched the bed for the creature that had a feast on our bodies and sure enough we found a bed bug hiding out on one of the pillows. We both packed our things immediately and headed to the front desk with evidence. With our evidence they agreed to put us in another hotel (Marriot City Center) and at 4am we transferred over to the new hotel. The next morning I called Priceline for a full refund. Priceline refunded one night and said the hotel would not agree refund the first night until there was "further research". My boyfriend and I got dressed and went over to the hotel to speak with the hotel manager Nina to help speed up their research process. After we forwarded pictures of our bites and he bug to her email she agreed to refund our entire stay and the hotel covered both nights we stayed at Marriot City Center.

We had excellent service, both hotel guest services and the service at the restaurant bar. Ryan was an exceptional Bartender. The food and drinks were delicious. Love this hotel!

Excellent hotel. Staff was very professional and accommodating. There was a party in the restaurant which prevented me from utilizing some benefits as a Marriott rewards member. They quickly made ammends which was more than adequate. I'll definanatly be back.

The room was clean and had a very cool, modern decor. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Great location, easy to walk or Uber to restaurants and bar. Perfect for a getaway!

Very nice hotel; classy and professional staff. However, a few inconveniences. They do not validate parking with any ramps, and being in the middle of downtown, parking is a hassle and is $20/night. Wifi comes at an extra charge of $14/night. Room service was exquisite but very pricey; breakfast cost $50 including $18 of additional fees and tax! So half the meal was fees; very expensive. The room was very nice though small, and had no fridge which is surprising for such a high-class hotel. Nonetheless, had a pleasant stay and staff were very formal and professional. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Room was awesome. Valets were really great and friendly. Only thing is, who charges for Wi-Fi especially at 15 bucks? But that's the only knock on the hotel.

It offered great service and an amazing deal on Groupon. The showers are alone not worth going back to. That's my favorite place to stay in Minneapolis.

The decor was really cool and unique. The lobby had a nice lounge area that was fun to explore. Workers were nice and helpful. Room was very nice. The shower was weird, there was a big gap of water in the middle. best breakfast ever. First timers get a free breakfast buffet with tons of delicious options. And the restaurant was super nice and fancy.

Right off the bat, we were impressed with the experience. Brennan, I believe that was his name, quickly logged us in and asked us the reason for visiting. I explained that I was taking my friends from Illinois out to experience the city. Brennan then stated that we would probably need breakfast in the morning, and he provided us with breakfast vouchers. The beds were cozy, and the bathroom, the shower specifically, was huge. The hotel is located only 4 blocks away from the Minneapolis nightlife. With the weather we were experiencing, that was a blessing. The next morning, we went to breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our sever, Garrett, was very friendly and kept our drinks filled. I will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable beds, large room. Great location as well. Free Wi-Fi which is huge. The only problem is the shower. Now it is a disability accessible one but it has a weird setup and weak flow. Overall though, this hotel is worth a stay.

I stayed at the Hotel Minneapolis for New Year's Eve. I was impressed with the hotel staff, cleanliness, and overall value. If I wasn't from Minneapolis, I'd stay here more often. There's skyway connections and restaurants near by. It's close to many things in the city. The shower in the room is amazing too. Overall, a great hotel.

So, im a Marriott guy, love the brand. However this hotel did not meet expectations. I travel for a living and i'm used to Fairfields and other budget hotels. The autograph collection is supposed to be top of the line, but this one was not. The room I was given was one of the smallest, with two queen beds. The carpet was dirty, there was dust everywhere. I also have status with marriott, so I expected access to the lounge, which provides food/snack/dinner/desert etc. Services throughout the day. This option was not available due to the holiday. Excuse me? Mind you they told me this at checkin. I should have known about this when I booked the room. Lastly, although I could go on, the breakfast buffet they did provide was terrible. You would expect this from one of the budget hotel. Who still uses fake eggs? I wish I would have stayed at the renaissance or the JW.

Great design and location. The room was spacious and kodern but unfortunately the a/c was only blowing cold air. Service was great and they fixed it right away.

The hotel is always a pleasure to stay in. Rooms are clean and modern, with great views of the city in the corner rooms. Concierge Lounge is great, with warm and helpful staff, good food, and a relaxing, comfortable environment.

It has a wonderfully spacious room with an ultra comfortable bed and an awesome shower.

My wife and I celebrated out 10 year anniversary on October 8-9. We were given an upgraded room at check-in without asking and noticed a new trainee was learning the ropes and received excellent service. The room was immaculate and we both loved the pillows. We requested a late check-out and ended up riding down the elevator with a staff member who inquired on our stay and thanked us for choosing them. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again!

We only stayed here one night, but we're happy with it. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, he offered suggestions for our anniversary dinner restaurant. The bathroom was clean, very large with a great shower. We would stay here again.

If you have a room on the wrong side of the hotel, by the vent system, be prepared to sleep in the sound of several microwaves running at full power. Awesome. Even at the last floor.

Beware — this was a horrible experience. The service is rude and unreliable, and they charge a fortune for everything — $200 incidental fee and $35 per day for parking.

My sister was married this past weekend and this is where we stayed. I have two major issues. The first is the keys needed to be constantly re-set. It was a major inconvenience especially the wedding day when the time schedule was tight. By the 2nd day, we just re-set the keys before we went up to the room every single time so we didn't have to go up and down the elevator twice because we couldn't get into the room the first time. The second was how the staff handled this. Just be honest, your system sucks and you need to pay some money and have it upgraded. Don't blame your guests and tell them its their fault because the key was by their cell phone. If that doesn't happen at the $89 Days Inn motel it shouldn't happen at a hotel that charges almost $400 per night. If we had paid full price for the room, I would have given one star. Great wedding discount though.

The worst. The room smelled and the sheets were gross. They also added $200 for incidentals and they never told me they would be doing this. When I complained they were rude and dismissive. Don't ever stay here.

I've booked rooms here on multiple occasion. I generally don't have any major complaint instead it's a list of petty annoyances, design decisions and shortcomings, questionable service standard, poor housekeeping standards and procedures.

Very expensive — considering: They add an extra 100 onto the bill for 'incidentals' — and they do not remove it for a week. Phone for valet services rang for more than 5 minutes before someone answered. ROOM 903: Mattress was old and had large dips — the mattress cover was very misshapen, and the sheets didn't fit over it — they kept popping off and made it very uncomfortable. Bathroom walls were stained with drips coming down from ceiling to floor. Room wall had several swipes of a different color paint — as if they were trying to 'touch up' something instead of repainting the whole wall. The only chair in the room was an office chair that you couldn't sit in without nearly tipping over backward — it wouldn't lock upright. One of the elevators did not work with their key card security. I've stayed in places for less than half the price with better accommodations.

What a beautiful, clean, user friendly hotel! The staff was so accomodating and so polite! Convenient location. The valet people were not offended at all and gave directions for parking in city lots, which were less expensive. We asked for a refrigerator and it was delivered in 5 minutes. On Sunday morning, we went to the restaurant to check it out and was offered complimentary coffee and a place to sit and visit without even ordering! The Sunday buffet sounded inviting, but we had a time crunch, so opted out of that. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! All of the staff I encountered while here were extremely nice and helpful. Valet was also very fast. The only issue I found at this hotel was that the shower in our room was dirty. I would stay here again though.

A totally different experience! I stayed in this hotel with my wife and our two kids during the Good Friday holiday for three nights. Before I check in, I had reviewed the feedback for this hotel which were more on the negative side. So, I was prepared for a bad experience! But it turned out a very good stay. We have been in Minneapolis close to ten times within the past eight years, and this time was one of the best experiences. In spite of the feedback for rude staff, the receptionist upgraded my room from a king-bed to two double-bed room for free. He even gave me a room which was designed for handicapped people. So, the room was so big and my kids were able to play around the room. Besides, they even gave us a fridge in the room for free! So, what is all the commotion about rude staff? Everything in the room was nice and clean, including beds, pillows, bathroom, towels, etc. For internet, they charge for the in-room service. There is free Wi-Fi coverage in the main lobby at ground floor that you can use at any time. I did not use the valet parking service. There are cheaper options within minutes of walking to the hotel site. They have large flat panel TV in rooms, if that is important for you.

I'm perplexed by the poor reviews this hotel received! Yes, they charge for internet — as is the case for most upscale hotels. Valet service is expensive but you aren't required to use it. As for rude staff, I had no such experience. I loved this hotel! The converted-bank look was so chic, our room was beautiful and large with a comfy bed and every staff member we dealt with was kind and helpful. We got a room upgrade for absolutely no reason and the valet workers were very friendly when we just parked there for a minute to run in and check out (we didn't use the valet service). I parked a block or two away for only $10 a night in a lot that was accessible through the skywalk. Great option if you're looking to save money. It's close to my favorite area of Minneapolis, Nicollet Mall. You can taxi for just $5 or walk (10 minutes maximum). Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be back.
