I spend a lot of time in this hotel because I do construction away from home. Nice clean rooms and very clean and comfortable bedding and soft white clean towels. The staff is the best part! They always above average great! The check in process is smooth and fast. They always try to meet every little request I have. It’s the little things that make this place like a home away from home! Thankyou!

Great spacious and clean rooms. The employee dustin was a great multi tasker while checking us in. 4 calls and helped 3 customers all done with a smile! definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice and clean, and very friendly staff.

We were stranded due to a big snowstorm on February 23rd. Ended up staying there 3 nights, and we were only 35 miles from home. Staff were so pleasant and caring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They even made cookies for the guests. They were all just wonderful!

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, smells nice and is very kid friendly. Their hot breakfast is outstanding.

Our client Joshua Smith is a touring comedian and was very excited to see this hotel on his itinerary! The room was perfect, clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. There's a free breakfast in the morning as well as a laundry room to take advantage of if you have the time to get your clothes freshened up before continuing the tour! It's a perfect place for entertainers to take a break, thank you for making them feel so welcome!

We ended up here very last minute. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

My wife traveled from the east coast to Owatonna, MN due to a death in the family. I had called the hotel earlier in the day to ask about the Pets restrictions and asked my wife to check it out prior to booking a room. When she arrived with the pet, coming into the lobby, she what abruptly asked to not bring the pet in and asked to leave. From the front entrance my wife had asked if there were any rooms available and the Manager said that they did not have any rooms for pets available. It was not mentioned to me when I called that the hotel did not have any rooms for pets available or that they only have certain rooms for pets. When calling the corporate office tool free number they said that I could not file a complaint due to not having a reservation. So, don't take your pet into the lobby when checking in or you will be asked to leave with your pet.

Staying at the Baymont was a solid choice. It was reasonably priced and the overall experience was good. Their breakfast was excellent and made the morning quite enjoyable.

Brandon Maddox is a touring entertainer who recently stayed here while performing nearby and loved it! The room was perfect, clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. They had a well stocked breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had all we needed.

Scarlett was wonderful. She worked with us on an issue we had with the hotel. We did not get satisfactory treatment the night before and Scarlett did her best to make it right.

Great location near I35. The interior of the hotel looked like it had been updated fairly recently, but the exterior could use some work. The room I stayed in was clean and nice, but a little pricey for what it was. The breakfast was nothing special.

Nice and clean right by the highway. There's an apple bees near and a gas station very convenient.

Once again and our third visit at Baymont with our friends/family Slapshot playing at Reggie's Brewhouse in town and we couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations! They were able to put our group together so we weren't all spread out and it was perfect! The suite we had was perfect very spacious with the large group we had and everyone stated theamount of seating was what we were missing from the First suite we had. You may ask what was the difference between the two rooms… Both big lots of space, king size bed in both, one has more seating a pullout couch and the other had a huge whirlpool tub in the corner (fun for cold night to stick your feet in)! But overall, seclusion when you want to get a little loud (with respect still for others) after hours with your friends. Thank you again Owatonna Baymont always a thumbs up from Slapshot and family.

We booked a superior king room with a jet bath. On the day we come in. The girl booked our room to her friends, wedding and one other group. My wife cried part of this night do to her one week plans being ruined by this front desk lady. My wife saves all the info on her phone. Lady says not sure why this happened. Yes it happened cause you booked our room out. This is our first time on date night in two years. I'm very pissed about this… What are you going do about this. Broken hearted Toni donovan.

The hotel is clean. The staff were incredible. They were very helpful and very friendly. They treated my family and I like royalty.

The service was good. Great Continental breakfast.

Older looking hotel. Bed was comfortable. Lots of TV channel options. Good Wifi. Enjoyable free breakfast with sausage, eggs, waffles and chocolate donuts. Plenty of outlets to charge phones and computers. Bathroom was cramped and crowded, with almost no space.

Love the comfort and style here. Great service!

Omg I love this place! I live in stp and its a little staycation resort hotel and water park. Far road trip but not too far from home. Adults can drink in the water park as long as its in plastic contaniers and the water was clean and warm!

We stayed in one of the pet rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. One of the nicest pet friendly hotels I have ever stayed in. Has a pet excercise area as well. Would highly recommend.

New owners, place is great now. Good breakfast too.

Rooms are clean, has Spectrum cable TV channels including hbo and Showtime. Friendly staff, a decent breakfast, and welcoming entrance area to gather.

It was a very clean and polite place. The manager was an older woman and good looking. We were there to pull our fiber optic line into the building for their new internet hook up. We got shown around where we needed to go and it was a smooth visit.

The rooms are beautiful and cozy very comfortable. The front desk staff are awesome.

Stopped in a little after Midnight and they Lady at the front desk was so welcoming. We got a King Suite and the room was very clean, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. Awesome customer service, We will definitely be back.

A hidden gem. Easy to get to. Right off I-35. Check in was a breeze and desk clerk was great. Nice room with its own thermostat. Comfortable beds with above average linens. Quiet and safe location. Pub on premises. (I didn't go into it. Looked nice. Delicious warm. Breakfast with eggs, sausage, bidquits, yogurt, cereals and milk, waffle irons, Breakfast 6-10 am. Lots of nearby restaurants. Quiet at night. Two floors and unfortunately, there are no elevator. Will definitely return!

Our room was very clean and well taken care of… Breakfast was refilled quickly and pool was great.

Stayed in the room with the fireplace/ hot tub on Feb. 18th. Room 163 the price was outrageous. The bathtub was gross and the toilet ran ALL night long sounded like a train running. Have stayed in this room many of times when it was the AmericInn and never had any problems. But will never stay here again.

Only stayed there one night for a wedding, room was pretty nice. We loved the size of the shower in our room. The breakfast in the morning was also really good, and they had a good assortment of other things to eat too!

Clean, decent rate, nice beds, really other than toilet seat being flimsy and bathroom so small it was a great place. Free breakfast too!

The hotel was older, but clean. There was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage (we were at the end of a 10 day vacation). The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. We did have some problems when it came to the staff. During our check-in I requested a late check out for the 2 rooms under my name. The staff member checking me in said it was no problem and the late check out time was 1pm. Before going to my room I double checked that it was noted that we were granted a late check out because I didn't see her add anything to the computer nor write anything down. She said everything was taken care of. The next morning around 11:20 we were called by the front desk and asked if we needed a late check out. We explained that we were already granted a late check out. The front desk said there would be an additional charge for it. After some discussion we were granted the late check out with no charge, however it should not have been a discussion in the first place. Then at 12:20 while packing up our car the key card to our room and my mom's room (under my name) stopped working and a staff member had to let us back in. It was a frustrating and inconvenient experience.

Very clean, nice facility that seems pretty new. They obviously put a decent amount of money back into the hotel to keep it nice. Hot tub works great, free newspaper, large breakfast selection. Have stayed here on 2 different trips months apart and had the same experience each time.

Owatonna, mn Americinn Hotel & Suites is an amazing place to be, all staff is extremely outgoing, compassionate, caring, and very comfortable to chat with and be around! Very warming, and the environment is really clean and we'll maintained. Excellent hotel! Excellent Staff!

The rooms were nice, but the shower make noises the whole time it was in use. Breakfast was very good.

I spent the night at this hotel while I was going to a wedding in town. This the nicest AmericInn I've ever stayed at. The staff at the desk was very nice and helpful. Note though the rooms with the kings are nicer then the ones with the 2 queens. The only reason why I know that is a couple I knew booked a queen room, and it had a less aesthetic appeal, but still clean though.

Our stay was great! The room was clean and updated and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel while you are staying in Owatonna!

We had nothing but problems the first minute we walked in. We had 3 families in the group and one coming the next day. First we all checked in was not informed that there would be a $25 on hold fee to a debit card for charges to your room. 2nd we where given a room that was being occupied when I went to the front desk to tell them Shawn (not very smart) didn't know who was in the room and stated that no one was checked into the room the night before so then I was moved way down the hall from my group we were with (very upset at this time). 3rd the people that where with me their rooms smelled like pet urine the only thing done with that was housekeeping gave them some spray witch didn't help anyway they also removed pet hair from the bathroom floor (not pet friendly rooms). 4th when going to take a bath the water ran out yellow like urine had to run 1 1/2 tubs to get normal colored water. 5th the room that I got moved into was musty smelling and right next to the air conditioner unit so it was so noisy I could barely sleep. The first night there the hot tub was freezing cold couldn't enjoy that and the pool was also. On the second night we went to enjoy the hot tub and pool because we were told it was fixed and at 11pm (Shawn) came in and kicked the kids out of the pool not very fair because they couldn't swim the night before. Shawn was very rude to me and all the people I was with.

Very friendly staff upon check in and check out. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet! Nice big parking lot in the back, easy to park vehicle even pulling a boat. Would definitely stay here again! Beautiful rooms and very nice linens. All around an excellent experience.

Great space in back of the motel to park a truck, Mark was real helpful and the place is very nice all around.

Service was very friendly but the rooms were very outdated and bed uncomfortable especially for the price.

We were traveling over night and decided at 3am to try and find a room. When we stopped here the gentleman on duty was very cheerful and helpful with directions. He even came outside as we were unloading to offer the kids donuts, bananas and milk now since they would be sleeping during breakfast. I figured we would need to walk back down to the lobby to get them, after putting our bags in the room we headed back down the hall and he was coming to our room with a beautiful tray of breakfast food and milk. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone looking for a good value and great service! If we are ever back this way we will be staying here without a doubt.
