We were previously staying at another hotel but told at the last second there would be no pool at all. We had driven specifically for the other hotel so my girls were pretty bummed. Sarah at the Comfort Inn was AMAZING! She was so understanding, willing to help us move hotel reservations with them instead, and was continuously checking to make sure everything was perfect for a great stay :) The staff all around was also so helpful and very enjoyable to be around. Outstanding breakfast and the pool was perfect temp. Our room was perfect for our family of 4 and very quiet. I HIGHLY recommend and we will be back!

One of my very favorite places to stay. Walking distance to the Cabela's in Owatonna. Customer service is excellent. Hot tub is great. Swimming pool is very good. Continental breakfast is outstanding. We stay here every year and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Friendly staff, the beds are comfortable but the HVAC units are dating and barely functional. Both units are full of mold buildup on the fan unit. Bathroom lacks functioning ventilation. Was told by staff that it hasn't worked for weeks so the humidity goes no where except for to the room if you prop the door open. Musty smell with who knows what is growing with the high humidity always in the bathroom and rooms. The breakfast was good however.

We did not have a good experience at this hotel. In town for a funeral and stayed for two nights, got NO sleep! Sounds from other rooms travels through the walls, we could hear heavy foot steps from the floor above at all hours of the night. Shower turned on in another room would reverberate sounds into our room. Room across the hall partying with door open. Complained to the front desk at 2:30 a. M after the second night of no sleep and got no resolution other than to blame us for not saying something sooner! Rooms were clean, but if you’re looking for a good night rest I would not recommend. Room was over priced. Stayed at a higher end hotel weekend of the 4th of July for less. One of the worst hotel stays I have ever had!

The room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The check-in was fast and the people were very friendly. The price was a little spendy though.

Beautiful, well maintained hotel. Nice rooms and friendly desk staff. However, the staff who serves the hot breakfast could use some training in proper food handling. I threw away my plate of food and left this morning after I observed the lady pack down the trash with her bare hand. She then went on to swap out the orange juice, stir the eggs, etc. I don't expect much out of a free breakfast, but I do expect sanitary conditions.

We will never stay at this hotel again. I have a lot of patience and can be very understanding about things going wrong, but the end result of all of our issues was disappointing. The front desk staff was very pleasant. However, that is all I can share on the positive side. The pool is extremely small. Again, something I can understand even though it was full of a 12 year old birthday party with parents drinking in the hot tub, blasting music and not watching the girls as they continued to blindly jump on my small children trying to swim. It was a cooler weekend, so we didn't blast the AC much, but when it was time to sleep I realized the AC wasn't working. I called the front desk and they told me to open a window. Well, my son has horrible allergies and that wasn't really an option. So I called back and they finally brought me a tiny fan. Needless to say, it was a rough night. In the morning, down at breakfast I went to pour milk on my daughter's cereal and it was chunky and expired. I showed the woman in charge of breakfast. So, we decided to try swimming one more time, which we couldn't do because some kid had pooped in the pool the night before and they just found it that morning. After all that, I was still willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the nice women working the front desk, however, when I talked to them about my experience all they did was take $20 off my already OVERPRICED room. I was appalled. No AC, no pool, expired food… ridiculous.

Good night's rest but breakfast area could use a little more space. Felt closed in. Award winner but fix your breakfast space and it would send it over the top. Employees top notch and fitness center better than your norm. Keep up the good work but pricing just a bit too high?

I will not be using this hotel again. We always use Country Inn and Suites when staying in the area, as this hotel is normally more expensive. Not because it is better, location next to Cabela's I guess they can. We were told we were given a discounted group rate for a wedding. Ha! (: The bathroom fan did not work, the hot breakfast did not compare to Country Inn and Suites up the road and the noise level was horrible. If you want a good nights sleep, I would not recommend this hotel.

Held my baby shower here yesterday June 2nd. Amazing staff, very attentive, friendly and kind. I was also very happy with the rate I got the meeting room at. Will definitely book here for future events. Thank you again staff at comfort inn owatonna!

Rooms are fine. Pool and hot tub we're a little cold. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

You can't find a better place to stay. The staff there is EXCEPTIONAL. I travel a lot and I've never been treated better. If you are coming to the area, definitely stay here. Definitely!

The women in Charge here is awesome. She is a great example of customer service at it's best and what it means to go above and beyond. I think her name is Vicki.

Overall, really great experience here. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and rooms came with personal fridge and microwave. They also have a pool/hot tub and small work out room with filtered water and free workout towels in the workout room. They serve breakfast in the morning from 7-9 AM with great options including hot foods (eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, etc. ). Service was great. Only complaint was the water had a very foul smell to it. Every time I washed my hands or showered, it smelled so it didn't feel entirely clean. Otherwise, very pleasant experience.

We had our Christmas with our family in a king suite. The staff was so helpful and accommodating the whole time.

Hotel was nice all around. The food attendant was very attentive to the free breakfast bar making sure everything was fresh hot and lots to eat. I will definitely come back to this hotel again in the future. Good price.

Average hotel, standard breakfast, clean place to stay. They were able to accommodate us late at night.

Location was good. Quiet for being close to the highway. Room was good, front desk made an exception for one of us being allergic to pets, so she moved out room to the top. Service was good as well.

Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The pillows were a bit large and firm for my or my girlfriend's taste, but that was the only (pretty minor) complaint we could possibly have.

Went to comfort Inn to visit family and was surprised how well kept and clean the hotel eas. The room we visited was huge and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and allowed us to walk straight to the room without having to call the room and have our family get us from the lobby. If in owatonna for the night I will definitely stay there.

Comfort Inn and all Choice brand hotels are great. They have a great rewards program, staff is always friendly.

We always enjoy staying here on our way to and from Florida. The accomodation is always great, clean and comfortable and the staff are excellent. Breakfast is also good and a super way to start the day. We highly recommend.

The staff was very accommodating. When our reservation was made, we said we would have our dog with us. However when we arrived, there were no more rooms available for dogs on the first floor. The girl at the front desk called the mgr. And was able to let us have our dog up on the third floor. They didn't need to do that, so it was nice that they did!
