Five star all the way. Comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff. Whirlpool in the room was a nice bonus. We will be back.

I stayed here once, when we first moved to Faribault. Now, I pay to use the pool. It's wonderful and everyone is so kind.

Happy hour 6-8 very friendly.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was OK. We got a room with a hot tub was nice except the Jets have very little power. Would not want that room again.

This is a great hotel that is just down the road from Northfield. It is our go to spot when the hotels in Northfield are booked. Just as good as the Americinn, but better :-)

Nice, but the hot breakfast left something to desire. Spend more money on the breakfast and less on alcohol for happy hour.

I'm a truck driver. It's nice to get off the road every now and then. This is a very Grand Motel the staff is exceptionally great the room was a outstanding. They worked with me on a rate for the weekend. The went above and beyond. The only downside that I can find what's the Wi-Fi it was very lacking. But to the staff hats off to you guys you guys are great!

Must have cards! Who won't take cash… needs new beds. BUT best service great bunch of Ladies. Clean, spacious.

Just stayed at Boarders in Faribault, MN. Everything was perfect… except for the food. Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean.

Service was excellent, location right off the highway, the room was very clean and even had complimentary beer or wine. The breakfast was good, we will look for this chain again. Also have complimentary newspapers.

First visit. Clean rooms and entire place was clean. Pool, hot tub, and sauna, well maintained. Family orientated Hotel. Met many nice families in the Pool area, and Our grandson and his friend had a Blast! Quiet at night for sleeping! We enjoyed breakfast and the coffee, fruit bar! Will be back. Even purchased a swimming pass for Our Grandson. Will recommend to people we know. Thank you to the staff, excellent service! Affordable nightly rates for families are Appreciated! The Sunday Noon check out is great. Swimming for Our Grandson and breakfast, lesuire is a Gift!

Basic hotel, clean but nothing fancy. Breakfast is very basic hotel breakfast. For the price it's suitable, I paid $65 per night.

Best hotel in my own opinion in the state of Minnesota. From the front desk clerks, to house keeping, and the manager Steve. Treated us like family and told my kids they can do what they want. Even though we arrived early before check in time. They let us eat breakfast and the house keepers immediately cleaned our room. Couldn't ask for a better hotel to stay in.

I use the pool for water therapy and I love it. It's always clean and the employees I encounter are very pleasant!

Staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. The main area when you first walk in, the breakfast area, along with the pool and the bathroom in the pool area were very clean. I was at Boarders for my baptism. Thank you to Boarders staff for accommodating us and allowing us to use your pool. It was and still is greatly appreciated! I would recommend your hotel to any of my out of town guests.

The room was dirty. Shower did not drain. Blood stains on the towels. And to top it off… The housekeeping staff stole my sons wallet. When talking to the Supervisor immediately after my son noticed the wallet was missing, he told us the housekeeper just left work due to illnesses. I would not suggest this place to anyone, not even a homeless person.

I should give it a 5 But more like 4.8/5 Sounds weird but I think any motel or hotel is never perfect but this comes close. I have nothing negative to say so here are all the positives 1) Great location and outside building and Landscaping 2) Friendly front desk 3) Small area to watch TV and relax 4) Fireplace in Lobby to relax 5) Internet 6) A menu to order food. There Pizza is good and Cinnamon Rolls 7) Happy Hour/ Coffee and Hot Chocolate 8) Nice spacious comfortable rooms 9) Amazing Hot Breakfast — changes every day 10) Beautiful pool & hot tub area with arcade games * Can't ask for more. I highly recommend staying here if you are going through. This is our 2nd time and we will keep coming back * I guess if I had any negative comments well it's not even that negative but a Elevator for the older people. Other than that you will love this place.

Room's were clean and very nice. Breakfast bar had lot's of options. The lobby is beautiful with the fireplace.

This was a great hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. I would have given them 5-stars, however, there was a mix up in our reservation, due to my son and having the same name. Same name woth the exception that he is JR. Even though the hotel was book, the staff worked diligently to rectify the situation, and get us a room. My hats off to them. We were totally satisfied.

This is a quaint little hotel. Very homey, comfortable atmosphere. During the time we stayed, they had a choice of two free beers or two wine drinks per guest per night! The breakfast served was mostly typical, except they had a different "special" depending on what day of the week it was. Pleasant stay, only downside was the beds are not comfortable, unless you like it very firm.

Fresh, clean, looks so new. GREAT front desk staff. Room comfortable, well appointed. Loved the " customer appreciation " beverages. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Boarders twice, once on our way to Lake Superior and then on our way back home. The first room was okay. The phone wouldn't work so I had to go to the front desk anytime we needed anything. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken and there were a few broken tiles too. On the way home our room was okay. Again, broken exhaust fan in bathroom, there was hair in the bathtub and on my sheets when I pulled the covers back. Also a few of the towels were dingy and rough. Typical free breakfast, we skipped it and went elsewhere to eat. Overall the staff was friendly. Oh yeah be prepared to haul all your belongings up the stairs since there are no elevators.

Very nice establishment here. It has an indoor pool. My room has an whirlpool tub and a king size bed. Extremely clean and very well put together. The desk clerk was also very nice.

Very nice and clean hotel. Bed was a little stiffer than I'm used to but good. Pillows were comfy. The room I had looked recently updated as well. Guest service was very nice and the breakfast bar had more options then others. Would definitely go back if Im in the area.

What a great spot! Extremely clean, helpful friendly staff, m35 minutes to the cities, and reasonably priced. Plus a pool, hot tub, full breakfast and happy hour beer and wine. Highly recommend.

This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had! They got the room wrong, the hide-a-bed was broken, the mattress was lumpy and not made up. It was dark and dank inside and there was only an AC unit in the bedroom (although we were told they had units in both) so the other room with the hide-a-bed was hot when the door in between was closed. They didn't pick up the dirty towels off the floor of the bathroom. Plus, they never mentioned there was no elevator so my 94 year old mother had to be helped up the steps. Our keys also stopped working twice. The second night my sister got her own room so she didn't have to sleep in the hide-a-bed and it said it was non-smoking but it smelled strongly of smoke. We had stayed the previous two nights at the Hampton in Bemidji for the same price and there was NO comparison between the two! Don't stay in this motel if you have any other choice! To their credit, they did reduce the rate of that first night but it was still a very bad experience.

Its okay, overpriced, my key wouldn't work for my room spent like 20 minutes going back and forth from my room to front desk trying to get my key to work so I could get in my room. I would not stay here again.

Rooms have been converted to be all non-smoking. But, ours still had a foul odor that could be that or some old sweat socks. Don't know — we let the front desk staff know. Breakfast was better than the last time we stayed at an AmericInn, so that's good. Quiet rooms. Comfortable bed. But room was smelly.

Clean and quiet, I've stayed there twice and will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay. As someone who is a very light sleeper I need a quiet room to sleep well. This motel had one of the quietest rooms I have ever slept in. The staff was friendly and helpful.
