For the price, it can't be beat! The room was clean, obviously older but nothing very worn, in good shape. Lobby reminded me of many Florida or California motels, large white tile on floor. Breakfast was pretty good, much better than expected. Very clean area, attendant did a great job. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it's not romantic, just a comfortable place to sleep. One thing we would ask next time is not to be placed near anyone, walls were pretty thin in the rooms and there is a gap under the door. We put a towel down to block it. I did hear the neighbors through the wall, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Soundproofing should be a prior for management if they remodel.

I'm coming to visit my elderly parents. I just booked a 7 night stay. I have a little dog so options are few. I am going to give it a shot despite the negative reviews. And even though I haven't stayed yet I will give them at least 4 stars because frankly, I think for the price you cant expect the Hilton. I noticed all the people that got super cheap deals were the ones to complain. I don't need ultra modern furniture, and don't really care about TV. But I am hoping it is clean, if not I will update. Cant wait! Thank you for the good deal.

Surprised to find no elevator in a two story hotel. Room was comfortable, although there were a couple other small annoyances. TV not set to correct date and time so no program guide. Staff was good, helpful. Breakfast was basic selection.

We got in to our room and the carpet as damp with humidity — — the air unit was not on and it as miserable. We left, went to our event, came back and crawled in to bed. There were dirty socks in one bed, under the covers and blood on the other bed on the sheets. I called the front desk (this was 10:30, I'm here alone with 3 kids and its late and we're all tired) and at 11:00 still had no clean bedding. I went to the desk to get it myself. The girl was on her cell phone pleading with someone to call her back. Breakfast was disappointing, the juice machine was broken which is a big deal to kids. We won't be staying here again… really, it was the blood on the sheets and dirty bedding all around that did it. Very disappointing, La Quinta…

We had no problems until the last night we came into the hotel and house keeping hadn't come. Okay mistakes happen but when I called the front desk to ask them to bring clean towels for the morning they told me I could come down and get them myself. Fine but I have a sleepy baby with me, would have been nice if they offered to bring the towels down to my room. Maybe they were short staffed, not the case there were e male workers standing around when I got up there. So I asked politely what happend with house keeping. Their answer was "they said they cleaned it. We can't go around checking every room after they clean it. " Would have expected them to be more polite.

Super clean and the staff were all really great. They have good room service and are working hard to please in every way. I would stay there again.

I would give them 0 if I could but I can't sadly. There was hair on our toilet seat and on our "CLEAN" pillows. There was some type if sticky substance on the nightstand, dirt on the floor, and a big stain on our chair. There was a sour smell to the room that not even our candle and spray could get rid of. Do not stay here. It would be amazing if it was clean and I really don't think it deserves the 2 stars it has.

The name would this hotel is more than it is. Close to airport, so likely accommodates more business travellers and the "stop-over" crowd. Room was okay, beds were comfortable, bathroom/shower really needed some updating. Basic complementary breakfast served in the morning. The coffee station in the lobby was poor; urns were empty, supplies were short. Culver's restaurant across the parking lot was convenient. Free shuttle to and from the airport was appreciated.

Very nice and clean stay. Mgmt was present when needed and checking when rooms were getting cleaned. I was in transition if moving out of Minnesota after being there 17 years for a job promotion in another state. So I spent my last 5 days at this La Quinta Inn which I am happy I did. When I visit Minnesota again they will be a place that I would stay at for sure. Keep up the good work guys. Very good and nice staff there you have.

It was just an average hotel, worth the money. We were just upset when we didn't have any restroom essentials (soaps) and when the toilet clogged from our young child using too much TP, they made us unclog it. I guess that isn't a huge issue, I just feel like if I stay at a place they should have a maintenance crew or cleaning crew that would be nice enough to do that.

Two story inn with NO elevator. Parking area is in terrible shape. Room clean, but a bit small. Nice little refrigerator with freezer. I travel a lot and pack food clothing and office equipment, so hauling all that up and down a nightmare. Lots of cold comes through the windows, so have to keep the heat high as a buffer. Buffet is nothing to write home about.

Rooms are worn, dirty around the edges, beds are old (big dips in middle), lock on the door to room didn't work. Staff is friendly, water pressure is good. Not recommended unless you don't have other options or if you need something inexpensive.

I didn't get to actually stay here but was very impressed with their excellent customer service. We planned to stay here on our way home due to a late night flight. However, our flight was delayed so we canceled our room. There was no problem with canceling despite the late hour. They charged us a very reasonable rate for our parking while we were out of state. The shuttle service to and from the airport was quick and easy. I will definitely stay here in the future, especially for the park sleep fly deal.

The customer service reps were very nice and accommodating, given the issues we had to deal with. There was very limited parking. We found a pizza in our fridge. We found a pill on the bed. The building definitely needs some maintenance attention. The breakfast is your typical budget hotel spread (cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, waffles, juice, milk, yogurt, boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy).

A very good place, with a great deal of attention, has mobility own to go to the Mall Of America and to the airport, you have discounts for certain stores in the Mall, the rooms are comfortable, the cleaning can be improved, but I highly recommend this place, the price was very affordable and the breakfast was also good.

Free parking leave car nice, shuttle to airport, nice deal but drove around 5 times before a parking spot in lot opened up. Very busy. Calvers very close from hotel. Room was fine. Breakfast 7am good, lots options but doors not open until after 7am after informed worker she let us in. Tight schedule with Shuttle 730am. Food was good. Vending machines also good but air port prices.

The beds were nice. But there was only decaf for the morning coffee. Only a stand up shower that leaked water all over the floor when in use. Shower only had scalding hot water or ice cold water. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Lower cost option close to the airport. The breakfast was not as good as some and the heater in our room was old and a bit dysfunctional. Very comfortable bed and mattress.

Reserved a king size room and the only one they had was on the 2nd floor. My husband is disabled and it is hard for him to walk steps. They did offer us 2 double beds on the lower floor. They also gave us bottle water and gave us a menu to a good 24 he pizza place. Beds were real comfortable and room very large and clean.

It is perfect and daily cleaning better thanks.

Great price however the pictures do not include the numerous dead and alive bugs that we found in our room. Felt gross and uncleanly. Happy to be going home.

They are good. We checked in a little earlier than the normal check in time. They were very accommodating. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the room had food under the bed and chair. I am glad my 4 year old did not eat it because she is the one that found it. Other than that it was great.

It is a place basics. The rooms are spacious and clean. Above all, the place was good and comfortable.

Even though the hallways were narrow and could have been a little better maintained, the room was clean and spacious. Finding the front door was also a challenge. But once I did the person working the front desk, was considerate because they had to tell me that the 2 queen room I reserved wasn't available but they had a king bed. She was very pleasant and took good care of us.

Walls are paper thin so you hear everything your neighbor is doing. Adults and children very loud in the hallway at 6 am. Double and King beds only, while online says Queen. Shuttle buses to the Mall only run every 2 hours. Breakfast was good.

The room was clean and tidy but the corridors looked a bit dirty. Receive Wi-Fi, cable, and a free breakfast as was advertised. The piece had a desk, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator. They also have a laundry room on site. The cafeteria was clean and the breakfast started at the set time. The food options were satisfactory. The place was easy to find and we did not have any problem of service.

Front desk staff was friendly, but that's about it. The cooling system in the room barely stayed on a few seconds at a time before turning off. My throat was dry as can be the next morning. The shower curtain doesn't fit the tub. The cleaning staff did not clean the room between the first and second day, and the people in the next room stayed up all night blasting music and getting funky. Then they wake up at 5am and start yelling and screaming at each other. The area looks dicey too. A cheap option, but should've stayed elsewhere.

I wasn't expecting much given other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. We got in at midnight. The attendant at the front desk was very friendly. The lobby and halls were clean and brightly lit. The room was bare bones but clean. The beds were comfortable. It was a nice sized room as well. We had two double beds. The only problem we had is that I think we got the last available parking spot. But we did get in at midnight. I would stay again.

As we were settled in for the night, all of a sudden we heard a loud gurgling noise. It came from the bathroom sink. When we looked, there was a disgusting brownish grey liquid, possibly sewage backup. We were given another room 3 doors down. We were afraid to use the water. Another guest next to us also had a sink backup and had to be relocated. When we checked out the next morning, we mentioned the problem of our first room. The clerk from the night before never reported the problem! We were given a small discount for our inconvenience. However, we will never stay at that particular La Quinta again!

Staff was friendly for the most part but the hotel is old and lacking. The tub is tiny and the shower curtain is so close that you can't stand without it clinging to you. There are no open outlets next to the bed so to charge devices you either have to leave them on the other side of the room or unplug lamps and alarms or move the bed. The bed was comfortable and the ac was fantastic. Breakfast was pretty standard. Over all decent but I would only go back if it was the cheapest option available.

Room wasn't particularly noteworthy. Smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Was not informed there is a complimentary breakfast, and no mention of it in the room… But there is one. Staff is friendly.

I would give it a — 5 if I could. Incredibly rude staff. Never have I have been treated or spoken to so rudley in my life. Your rooms are beyond inappropriate for what you charge. Unfortunately because of travel, this was a last resort, if I had know what I was getting in to I would have pitched a tent. Incredibly dissatisfied.

Absolutely disappointed in the service. We booked three different rooms for a party of 12 people to be able to stay together. When the second and third group of people attempted to check in they told us to come back in two hours. When they arrived again they were told the rooms would still not be ready for another hour. Finally after hours they checked in only to find out that they got a single bed instead of the double bed that they specifically booked. The "new" manager apparently had no idea how to manage the rooms and the employees at the front desk were very shaky on fixing this. Even though on multiple occasions we had called to confirm that the rooms would be together and ready. Finally when they moved the rooms, which were very far from each other, the front desk person wanted us to be thankful for their help even after they screwed up. They told us the rooms were "pre-assigned" even though we also had asked for specific rooms. They told us it was first come first serve even though the room were still not ready! This is unacceptable when you are booking a room through the hotel themselves and have consistently checked to make sure we were getting it correct. We were not even offered anything extra and were suppose to be satisfied after waiting almost 6 hours to check in.

Staff was rude at check in. Made certain arrangements ahead of time and was assured the arrangements would be honored upon arrival. They were not! The rooms are small and they needed to be clean. I am a LaQuinta rewards member. I have stayed in a lot of different La Quintas, this is by far the worst experience I have had in one.

Terrible hotel and I usually like la Quinta. It has smoking and non smoking rooms. I wish I knew that when I booked. The hotel smells like smoke everywhere and some other stuff. Do not stay here.

Staff was very friendly, and welcoming! Love that they allow pets, they are very accomodating. And the rate I got the room for how close it is to the M. O. A was perfect. I am giving only 3 stars because the room wasn't very clean… The mini fridge door/inside, looked like it had not been wiped down in a very long time, greasy finger prints and smears all over the front, long black hair on the towels, a stain on one of the bedsheets, and the floors in the bathroom were dirty.

We were just last night! And made us the worst humillacio went to a concert arrive at 3 in the morning a group of a crumbs then as normal you rries and do jokes! We came to open the door a few policies came without any permission and we got room to me and my friends and my other friends who were in their respective fourth, that by that party in the room we had do not take beverages not more we talked for 30 minutes and at 4:30 a. M. We pulled the man was more umillante! Separate non us rregresaron our money and we were only there for 1 hour 30 minutes.

Poor service, messed up on my reservation, shuttle not on time at Mall of America multiple times, and breakfast was below average. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and can say it has regressed since my last visit. Edit: The rooms are also very loud, as there is an inch long gap between the floor and door.

Room was nice, bed comfortable. The breakfast was very limited not a whole lot to choose from. The Doors for the rooms are not good at all, the space in between the door and groumd is so big you can hear everything thats going on in the hallway and you cansee people feet as they walk by.

I recently got fired from the La Quinta after being told that the auditor Stacy "didn't care about what I did around the corner" after I asked if I could drink one light beer a guest had given us because it was against policy. I took extra precautions to not break the rules, and I was fired for it for it. Staying at this La Quinta you can very much so expect a similar reaction from probably all but four hard working employees. Most employees here act like thugs, and consider three groups of people to be "a rush" which I can only assume is because of poor life choices, and doing whatever other people don't see around the corner. Why does everyone keep taking extended breaks in their cars?

Thieves! Do not leave anything in Your room or housekeeping will take it then try to cover it up! Never staying here again. Disgraceful to the La Quinta brand name.

Booked a 4 night vacation to Minneapolis and choose the LaQuinta. Older hotel but thought we would give it a try. Checked in and were given a smoking room! YUCK! Told them that my wife was allergic to smoke and we need a different room. They said it is a non-smoking room and the last person must have smoked in it. Also said they are booked full and didn't have any other rooms. After 30 min of back and forth they magically found us a different room. Hallways stink and hotel needs serious updating. I will never stay here again. For being a Corporate Owned hotel you would think that LaQuinta would tear down or total remodel this hotel to match the company standards of the other LaQuinta's out there. Very Dissapointed!

Nasty, old, outdated, no fan in bathroom, small rooms, dank, smelly, bad customer service at night. Party place too noisy for good sleep. Breakfast is almost 100% bread items.

I really like staying at LA Quinta hotels but this one is the worse. The room reeked of cigarettes, booze and overall stank. The door was two inches shorter and I can stick my hand through the bottom of the door. I had to put a towel down to cover it. The towel racks where coming off the wall and the shower head is at a height of 5'6. The cable kept going out and their breakfast options are below LA Quinta standards. This place needs some serious renovations.

The staff was great always smiling and friendly. The room was very clean … will be back again soon.

Shuttle service unreliable. Both nights we stayed next to extremely loud groups of people. Partying, etc. Set up a wake up call but never got it. No elevator. Fairly clean but old. Poor customer service.

Would've been nicer if my room didn't have the dumpster outside my window, lol, and if the ice machine hadn't been near my room.

Just need a cheap hotel for one night. Our shuffle driver and front desk staff was really friendly. The room was clean and the complementary continental breakfast was satisfactory.

We arrived at 9PM and were told that the front desk guy got there at 3PM and was told they were full so they didn't have a room for us although we had booked weeks in advance and had the confirmation. We were finally given a terrible room. OUR ROOM — the sink took forever to drain, the tub/shower dripped non-stop, the toilet seat was so old, it looked dirty (or was), the floor in the bathroom was buckled up (it was some sort of wood vinyl only in the tub and toilet area), the tub had mold along the base, the entire room smelled very, very musty. On day two, we couldn't handle the smell anymore and the room was very, very humid, so we tried to open the window. It did NOT open. We tried everything and obviously weren't the first to try bc it had pry marks all over it. There was condensation all over the window (you couldn't even see out) and ledge. The TV didn't display what programs were on what channels and when we finally got the rollaway bed at the end of day two, there was NO place to put it except in front of the TV or in front of the only door so my son slept on the floor between the beds. I received at least three spider bites during my stay (at least, I hope that's what they are). The BREAKFAST — was terrible. The coffee was horrid and the juice was out of order our entire stay. The hard boiled eggs were still warm to the touch and the plastic wear was so flimsy, it couldn't cut a waffle. There was no fruit! No bananas, apples, oranges, NOTHING! The cereal was stale.

Stayed the weekend of July 4th. We booked 2 rooms with specific requests for fridge/microware, and since we were coming from Chicago we told them that it would be a super late check in and they said that was fine. Well the day we are to arrive we called out of courtey to let them know we were still on our way so that they don't give our room away and they said they would note in the system. We get there and they give us our rooms. One room didn't have the fridge/microwave as requested and the other room was musty and still had dog food on the floor behind the fridge. Also in checking my account, I noticed that I had already been charged for both hotel rooms which was to be split between 2 people. When I went to inquire about the charge and the rooms I was told that they didn't charge my rooms they simply put on hold but my bank account showed the money had already been in the processing phase which left me with no spending money (being on a budget) and as for the rooms, I was told that I had to wait for a room to become available in the morning. I called for housekeeping to bring more towels and clean the room and they never showed up until the next day! I was so disgusted with the dry/rude behavior of the Front desk attendant that I couldn't wait for my stay to be over.

The room is really nice for this price range. Everyone on the staff has been friendly and helpful. The only slight complaint I would have is that the parking lot isn't in great shape — sometimes it's hard to know where the spaces are. But this was still a 5-star stay for me.

I stayed here for two nights. I was able to get a lower price then expected. The woman assisting with reservations was very pleasant. When we arrived we were surprised at our smoke smelled room on the second floor. It smelled like frebreeze and cigarette smoke. We asked for a different room. The woman assisting me had a mouth full of food and while talking to me. I asked her to finishing chewing because I couldn't understand her. She kindly switched us rooms. The hallways need to be cleaned along the edges. The corners of the rooms and hallways could use a quick clean too. There is a bit of dirt along the edges, making a person to wonder how clean everything else is. I was a bit shocked to have to walk through cigarette smell on the second floor to get to the breakfast bar and every time we left through the lobby door. Over all things were quiet and we made the best of the hotel. I have stayed in the La Quinta in Bloomington, high tower one. I found it to be cleaner, better breakfast, and a bit nicer. Though, this one was cheaper so I guess it is what it is. Over all the staff were friendly.

I ended up having some problems with a reservation I made — problems that were 100% my fault. I won't go into details (because I'm embarrassed! ) but I will say that the staff at La Quinta were incredibly accommodating. Blew my customer service expectations out of the water and fixed everything.
