The food in the Buffalo Room is great and diverse. If you want good food from any of five different places and great desserts all in one place, Wind River Hotel & Casino is for you.

A few years ago I stayed at the Wind River Hotel & Casino. It was a terrible experience. In particular the hotel took NO responsibility for the rude behavior at the casino, saying "We have no relationship with the Casino". The Casino managers had no client relationship training. Though I was there for 3 nights, there was poker only one of those and the managers were UPSET if I took some of the poker chips to play Blackjack. When I took some exception to the lack of service and severe rules, they kicked me out of the Casino. I'll never go back.

This is a great hotel and casino. I stayed here from the 10th-12th of June and had a very good time. They are kid friendly too which is rare to find in a hotel/casino combo. The room was very nice. It has a flat screen TV that is wall mounted with the swivel option. So you can pull the TV off the wall and turn it to face the beds, couch, wherever you happen to be. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows were great! They also give you alot of pillows which is very nice. There is a couch and chair in the room that has a little half wall separating the beds from couch area. The bathroom was also nice. The showerhead is a real shower head not one of those cheap hotel kind. It is a very nice room and you will be greatly satisfied if you stayed there. Onto the food. The food is great we ate at both the Red Willow and the Cee Nokuu’ Café (ja-nuh-coo). The cafe is good for a quick bite or something cheap. We ate breakfast at the cafe and it was GREAT! The Red Willow lunch could be better. However; dinner at Red Willow was FANTASTIC! We spent $60 dollars and got steak, lobster, cheesecake and chocolate moose, and a kids meal. Soda is free in the casino so no need to get drinks. It was definitely GRADE A! I was very very satisfied with the dinner. We got ours to go and took it back to our room since we had our toddler with us. Definitely a great dinner. The hotel staff was very nice and helpfull. Any time we needed anything they were more then willing to help us.

Food is fairly decent, and isn't over priced. There is a food court styled restaurant allowing people to choose from Mongolian, Barbeque, Mexican, or Italian styled foods.

Went there with coworkers as they suggested it and to get a membership there. While the food was ok I had arrived early to do the membership paperwork and waited almost 20 minstrel so that wasn't enjoyable.

We stayed here overnight as we drove through the state. It was easy to check in and out. While the breakfast wasn't complimentary, I think we paid about 1.50 for 2 ENORMOUS breakfast plates. Very tasty and probably the biggest pancakes I'll ever see.

Nice rooms for a good price. Very clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Nice big Vegas style gambling area. Could maybe be a little more ventilated. Overall very nice.

Nice and new some spatter on a wall that was not cleaned properly but friendly service and good price.

Nice casino however employee's shouldn't be all standing in a group by the soda machines watching customers. I came from Nevada and it's inappropriate to hover around customers. And this happens every day at Windriver casino.

Food was delicious and served hot. Server did an amazing job despite a crowded restaurant.

After being forced to stay at this motel for work for two months, I would not recommend starting here. $50 deposits that were never refunded, terrible Internet connectivity (if you could connect at all), horrible television choices (history channel had no video, animal planet had no audio), sub par customer service. And God forbid you forget an article in your room. I forgot a shoe in my room, and by the time I was actually able to get a hold off anyone willing to look for it two weeks later, it could not be located (my only assumption is that it was tossed out by housekeeping, $126 pair of shoes down the drain). The only redeeming quality was the staff on the casino side, they were friendly, the customer service counter knew me by name after only 3 days (I was impressed) and the food was of plentiful portions for the price.

The Wind River Casino was great. Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Hotel staff goes above and beyond with great customer service. The food was amazing and a great variety in all price ranges from Steak to Lobster to the Indian Fry Bread Tacos, leave room for dessert because those where amazing! Highly recommend the Wind River Casino while traveling in Wyoming. While in the area make sure to make the trip to visit Thermopolis and experience the drive thru Wind River Canyon.

I loved the hotel rooms, and the customer service was great! The reason why I give them a 3 star because I had the biggest problem with room reservations and cancellations. They charged me for 4 rooms when we only had 3, and when I asked for receipt it was like pulling teeth. I asked them to fax it 3 times over, never got it. And they are still charging me for the fourth room, when I clearly cancelled it before 6pm the day of. I will go back but unfortunately not stay at the hotel.

Wife and I live about 2 hrs from the casino/motel. Very nice rooms, great service. Very clean and nice. Restaurant in the casino serves very good food. We go a lot because it's so pleasant and the room rates are very reasonable as well.

I'm a member of the tribe but before the hotel I would stay at relatives homes. Now I plan to come here. It's has good rates, good times, and with some luck win some cash to buy a lobster dinner. That is exactly what I did. I will remember that for the rest of my life. Oh while your in Wyoming go to thermopolis and enjoy the hot springs.
