We made a last minute decision to stay in Pinedale on our way home instead of camping due to weather. My dream was to find a cabin-type place where we could cook our own food. I contacted LCM and reserved their last cabin. We were blown away at our discovery of this gem. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flowers everywhere. The detail that was put into our (and assuming every) cabin felt like home as soon as we walked in. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We will return to the Log Cabin Motel.

No AC, limited outlets, very small bathroom. Extremely nice staff, individual cabins were well kept.

Nice but small log cabins. A journey in the past.

This was a great place to stay for the night before heading up to the Grand Tetons! The woman running the place was very nice and accommodating. The cabin was clean and private! Lots of other reviewers seemed to like the restaurants within walking distance — I'll accept that we may be outliers. The restaurants all seemed like the worst kind of tourist trap type places to me, but that just comes with the territory in this area right outside of the parks.

We enjoy staying at places with character and charm and this place has both. We were in one of the older, historical cabins (#1) which had a single bed and a queen sized bed. It is a two room house keeping cabin so you can cook in if you want to. There is access to grills and a small porch. It is located on a street parallel to the main street so restaurants are within walking distance. There were 2 TV's if that is important to you. These are small cabins so space is limited. The place you notice it most is the bathroom. For us this was not a problem. The staff was excellent and took the time to show us the cabin and talk about the history of them. We hope to stay here again if travels take us back to that area.

Great stay, Sophia and Forest really made things easy with the welcome packets with all kinds of useful info about the area! Make sure you ask for directions to Boyd Skinner Park and check out the town moose and her twins!

Log Cabin Motel was such a great find in pinedale. We were in the road and unsure where we were going to stay next. The motel made it so simple and easy to book a cabin the cabins were quaint and cozy. It was a short walk to the Main Street where there were plenty of eateries. The staff was easy going and helpful. Highly recommend.

The Log Cabin Motel was great! Sofia was very helpful throughout the entire process, and she was even able to move our reservation when we were chased out of the mountains early by snow. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The people were amazingly nice. When we called for the room she stayed up an extra 2 hours until we got there so we could check in. It was an amazing deal for 2 queen beds and 1 twin. They had everything you could think of to create your own romantic meal. They had an old school log cabin look. We had our own cabin. The cabin was a car with appart so I didn't have to keep shushing my kids. It was sparkling clean. It kept really warm even with it snowing outside thanks to thick quilts and a heater. There were 2 different softness of pillows in each set. So my husband had 2 firm pillows and I had 2 soft. Because we got there so late she allowed us an extra 2 hours to get the kids showered and fed. It was amazing not having to fight the kids to rush. I'm definitely going to go again even if it is out of the way.

The cabins were darling. We have a small dog and he loved the porch. We could sit on the porch on the evenings and talk to neighbors. It was clean and nice and beds made each day just like a hotel. Loved the experiance.

Clean, convenient historic cabin. You get some character of a western town that the chains can't offer. Would return/recommend.

The cutest place! The cabins are super cozy and very well kept, with immaculately clean surfaces, nice linens, and comfy beds, and the grounds are beautiful with flowers abound. The owners are lovely and recommended great places to eat in Pinedale. AND they're dog friendly, and provided a little doggie goodie bag for our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We are bikers and stayed in Pinedale over night on the way to Lava Hot Springs. This was seriously one of the best places we have stayed in so far! We got in late and were freezing, DJ at the office made is feel so welcome and even offered her small fireplace to us in her personal apartment while we attempted to get warm. They upgraded us to the two bedroom cabin that was built in 1929 for just $15 and it was the best thing we did. Our group of four enjoyed the entire cabin and loved that we were staying in a piece of Pinedale history. It was cozy and warm and inviting and we seriously could not get enough of how wonderful DJ was. The cabin itself was clean and well kept, coffee was in the room to be made the next day, and we even enjoyed the wine glasses and corkscrew! The next morning I had forgotten my necklace in the room after checking out but we had gone to the breakfast place across the street where they had offered a discount to us and DJ walked over personally and handed me my necklace back! Amazing hospitality and service! We will definitely be back many many times!

Cosy cabins with everything you need. Large fridge, small kitchenette etc. Lovingly furnished.

We spent one night there last summer and decided we loved it and booked for a night on our trip to Jackson. When we arrived, there had been a plumbing problem and the owners had already booked us in to a nice B&B up the street. They absorbed the difference in the cost. The B&B was very nice, also and we were impressed with the hospitality. However, we love the Log Cabin and hope to stay there again on our annual trip to Wyoming. It is quaint, clean and near downtown. We could easily drive on to Jackson but having a nice quiet night at the Log Cabin is the way to go. Even the cheapest hotel in Jackson is more than Log Cabin rates and not nearly as nice and comfortable. Maybe, one day, we can stay longer. Loved it and will definitely book again.

Log Cabin Motel was beautiful. Adorable decorations inside, and precious landscaping out of doors. Beds were comfortable, bedding was cozy warm, and we had a great night of rest. Pricing for our stay was very reasonable, we would love to come stay a week next time! We HIGHLY recommend Log Cabin Motel~

Fun quirky buildings. Older, smaller rooms/cabins. Great owners, very accommodating.

I love this place! After a whole day cross country skiing in the Wind River Range it was wonderful to find freshly baked cookies in my cabin when I checked in, but it was just the beginning, there are no words to express my joyful rest in this warm and cozy and clean cabin. The bed was very comfortable and I slept so well. Mihaela the manager was really friendly and helpful, recommending a place to walk to for a hearty dinner and a local beer. Check out the Wind River Brewery! While walking back from dinner I saw some deer crossing the street. Only in Wyoming! The Motel is a block off the main street and was quiet and peaceful. I can't wait to come back.

Very cute and homey but a bit tattered and it seemed a little expensive, but that might just be what the area calls for. Sophia was a delight, very helpful.

This place is awesome. If you are headed into the Wind River Range for backpacking, stay here. If you are headed out from a backpacking trip, stay here. The accommodations were perfect, and we were able to do our packing and sorting on the front porch, and it is impossible to describe how much easier this made our life than staying at a hotel. They even offered to do our stinky, smelly laundry after coming out for $10. Unbelievable. Also, they held some items of mine that needed to stay refrigerated until we came out 4 days later! Incredible value, great cozy place to stay. Definitely would recommend to anyone in Pinedale.

It is the best cabin that I have booked. Sofia is a very nice guy and it is worth talking with her.

Upon our arrival in Pinedale I was apprehensive about our accommodations but my fears were put to rest when we checked in and Sofia was so delightful. She is obviously proud of her cabins and it shows with her unique decorating skills. It rained both nights while we were there so couldn't enjoy sitting on the front porch and enjoying the lovely yard and flowers. Probably wont stay there again as we are not hunters or fisherman and there is not much to do in Pinedale for us but it was a unique experience, one which I will not soon forget.

The log cabin motel is a great place to getaway to either personal or on business. I have stayed many times over the last five years. All the cabins are very clean, fully stocked with everything you need to have a nice relaxing stay. I love the fact that I get to bring my dogs with me in the cabins. There is a great kennel for me to use if I need to also. Come stay and fall in love with this hidden get away. Its located one block from downtown. So dining and entertainment is in walking distance. Lots of great little shops located close by to wonder through and enjoy. Don't change a thing Forest, Sofia, and Alma see you soon.

Beautiful facility. Rooms are on the smaller side, but have more than enough room to be comfortable. AMAZING prices. Able to walk anywhere. Very nice staff. Extremely clean room.

I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for comfort, atmosphere, and a staff who knows a lot about hiking, boating, and generally enjoying one's self in the region. I stayed at this motel the entire summer while working in Pinedale, and during this time I stayed in three of these cabins and was very pleased with each of them. Each cabin definitely has its own unique history and character. Many of the cabins have porches to sit and relax, with charcoal grills for use (where many of my summer afternoons were spent! ) The owners are exceptional people whom I had the pleasure of getting to know over the summer, and they will supply you with just about anything you need (including homemade bread if you're lucky! ) None of the other hotels in town compare; you won't be disappointed with the Log Cabin.

This is absolutely the most perfect place to stay for a night or two after backpacking in the Wind River Range. Each cabin is unique and offers all the amenities needed to sit back, relax and enjoy the area. The cabins are well kept and the staff could not be any nicer and more attentive. I will definitely be back.
