Terrible experience. Expect to get into a lot of obstacles when you try to work out a solution with them when you're in trouble. Booked and prepaid the hotel from June 15-18. Due to weather problem, flight got cancelled and I was stranded in Chicago airport on June 15. On June 16 2am I found out the airline couldn't rebook me until the 17th, so I had to cancel the trip. I called the hotel several times during this process and told them the situation, the staff told me their manager wasn't in and arranged that the manager to call me on 10am on the 16th. 10 am of the 16th came and went, no phone call. I had to call them twice on the 16th morning to get in touch of the manager M. She was courteous but she sounded apathetic and condescending. I tried to talk to her in good faith and see if I could get some deposit back (at least for the night of the 18th). She rejected and told me the cliched answer that if she does this for me she has to do the same for everyone whole cancels. I tried to explain to her it is a special situation cos it's out of my control, she wouldn't listen. I then called Expedia, and CS told me they are adamant about keeping the money but M's supervisor would call me again and offer me some credit. But again, I never hear anything back. I gave up. To you potential customers: BE AWARE. They are your best friend when you're giving them money, but they will become the coldest people you ever deal with if you're in trouble and want to have good faith conversations.
