This hotel is very unprofessional and unorganized. The staff has no Idea what customer service is all about. They are rude and unfriendly. I was charged for a room that was on a corporate account. My reservations were not found 3 days in a row and when I questioned the validity of the claims that I had no room, I was treated rudely. When it was the attendants fault. The reservation was made, they couldn't find it. All I received was an empty I'm sorry in a snarky attitude kind of way. This was from the property manager. Do not waste your time or money on this dirty, bed bug ridden, spider infested, building in disrepair, weeds over grown, hole in the wall.

Pretty run down. One ice machine, which leaks, for the entire hotel. Mold around fixtures in bath tub. TV wouldn't display what channel you were watching, nor could you go to an exact channel, only channel up and channel down work. Continental breakfast had day old bagels. Door to hotel room had to be slammed to close all the way, and someone was illegally parked in the parking lot for a minimum of the two days I was there, blocking 5 spaces. Was half the price of other hotels in the area, and it became quite apparent once we got there why that was…

Here's my review… the days inn hotel in port Huron is the worst hotel iv ever stayed at and iv stayed at alot of hotels because my husbands job moves around alot the first night we got here they put us in a room that not only had black mold all in the bathroom but dead roaches laying around and to top that off I found some kind of pills laying beside the bed I have 3 small children just glad they didn't find it before I did they tried to put us in a room that hadn't even been cleaned from the people that had just left gave us a kitchenette because I went off about the poor customer service and lack of cleanliness then today they try to move us back into the room that had the roaches mold and pills I flipped out because it's not our fault the housekeeping don't do their jobs we haven't gotten any clean towels since we been here (3days) when we got here we only had 2 and was told we was only allowed to have 2 towels well we are a family of 5 3 kids my husband and my self they wouldn't come vacuum or even loan me one for like 5 mins to do it my self … worst hotel ever … not to mention everyone iv talked to has had a snobby attitude id rather pay a little more and actually get what I pay for. This place is a rip off also if you pay weekly rates it's none refundable. Prob because they would never get any service because of the poor housekeeping and lack of customer service.

Pros: Friendly curtious staff (Housekeeping checked daily to see if I needed anything and respected my privacy), management gave me an upgraded room after my prepaid room was rented out. Cons: My prepaid room was rented out from under me! The motel is in need of general maintenance and upkeep. There was a rain gutter hanging from roof to ground and posed a trip hazard and my room had peeling wallpaper, cigarette burned linens in a no smoking room, a slow draining tub which left standing water in the tub 15 mins after taking a shower, and a mini fridge that froze everything!

I was only there to pick someone up. He said there were no bugs in "that room" he was staying in, so I don't know what's up with this place.

This place isn't even worthy of carrying the name Days Inn, it's more like one of those creepy road side hotels you would see in a Hitchcock flick! They haven't renovated in probably 30-40 years (definitely before I was born if ever! ) the staff isn't particularly pleasant and it's just old and has that old been here forever stink! To top it off, they actually charge Days Inn rates! At best I would pay $25 a night for this place and that is generous!

Had car issues so was a guest at the hotel for two weeks, room smelled of smoke, and bathroom ceiling was extremely molded and deteriorating.

Very clean and staff very helpful.

To those that read these, beware… I used to come to this hotel about 8 yrs ago… Then it was, so so… Went there last weekend. Me and mama wanted a weekend away. We reserved a Jacuzzi room. Well they said, "only 1 left, and its our honeymoon sweet" I actually thought that was a good thing. Till I saw room. Filthy didn't describe it. And after 1 hour of using jacuzzi… Call came that we can't use it… The Honeymoon Sweet is above lobby. Lobby ceiling is water damaged from Jacuzzi above… So was a known fact when they gave us room. So just to say bad experience, let go and never stay again. Well look at my charge card billing, I have a bill for room. I only used my card to reserve. My lady wanted to pay, so she gave her card and info. So now 2 bills for the filthiest room you can find? And manager won't work with you. Makes it as hard as he can for a resolve. Contacted my C. C. Company and Mama is doing same. If you stay in this rats nest its on you if you read this. I messed up and didn't read these. Good luck ppl.

They need to check to see if they have bed bugs they are along getting 2 stars.

Good serious clean rooms to make u feel like home. A great place to stay if u are interested the area.

Have visited here several times when out of town friends came to visit. For the price you can't complain. This is a hotel room and serves its purpose. People complaining about it being cheap and not up to "their standards" go get a room at The Hilton, you won't find it to be much different except for the outer appearance. A hotel room is a hotel room, they're all the same. Days Inn has friendly staff, free breakfast, clean rooms for a great rate!

It's just a Days Inn. It was ok. I have seen some worse and I've seen nicer. This one is about average.

Room was moldy, stayed for extended period and room was cleaned twice in two weeks. In room climate control is horrible. Bad area, food delivery won't deliver to you. Prostitutes galore and the whole town closes at ten. It's hard to imagine that Days Inn allowed them to keep their name on the Marquee. I would not recommend it not return ever!

Had a problems with room, they upgrade to a better more expensive room, and gave me same rate for the next night.

My visit was ok. The room was clean. The manager Norma was a very helpful person. Continental breakfast was yummy. Like the idea that there was fresh fruit and a nice cafe to sit down and eat.

Helpful Staff Clean comfortable quiet at night microwave oven, coffee pot and mini fridge in room works cheapest on THE north end. Beds have clead sheets no smoke smells.

The staff is wonderful and the rooms are clean. It's about to get huge renovations and after that it will be close to a 4 star.

Rooms were absolutely disgusting, rooms were thin walls and we could hear everyone talking in the rooms around us (all of which stayed up WELL into the middle of the night), outside was noisy and vehicles were ripping in and out of the parking lot all night real loudly (hookers on site maybe? ). Staff weren't very friendly either. I heavily regret not spending a little more money for any of the places down the street. I'd have slept better on my car.

Customer service isn't always the best. Rooms are decent though. Okay price.

Close to the lake, low cost stay with a free breakfast for guests. Clean public areas. Room is comfortable and clean. Bring your own extension cord for charging your devices, it is an older hotel, so plugs are at a premium.

Went there for two days notice bite marks on my wrist and arm. Second morning one more mark. Was home and many more bite marks with redness and bumps. Already had Dr. Appointment for something else ask Dr. What the Mark's where he said bedbugs. Had to throw my mattress and boxspring away, and treat bedroom wasn't cheap. Will be contacting them not cool these bites hurt.

We stayed in march. Two words… bed bugs.

Stayed there for 2 nights an the next morning left an later realized my boyfriend left his camera in the room when we called Courtney was very sweet an went out of her way to call her gm an house keeping but no one had seen it, messed up part is they told me no one had rented the room since us so that leaves the staff being the only people in the room and I strongly believe one of the house keeping people took it and there manager just pretty much told me I was s. O. L don't go here they steal from you lie to you an there rooms smell like stale pot an cigarettes watch one girl in the back parking lot shooting up. Stay away from this place.!

This is an old building it's ok to spend the night low celing half of the room about 6.5ft and the pillows are small size n the quilt under the sheet looks really old not happy to be hear need a place to stay. …

Comfortable & clean rooms. Breakfast is okay and didn't try Wi-Fi.

Building is worn out, people live here etc…

The hotel is Off of Pine Grove in Port Huron it has many rooms and ok sevice.

We stayed one night, and got bit up by bed bugs the entire night. My boyfriend and I had 20+ bite on our bodies each! It was awful.

We arrived here just about an hour ago, and due to some kind of horrible, inconvenient glitch on the Days Inn website, we ended up with reservations in Florida. We were able to get those cancelled without a fee (thank goodness! ) and the lovely ladies at the front desk here were very, very helpful in getting us an affordable room that met all of our needs. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is what you could expect for the price, but the customer service is that of a 5 star resort. Very pleased so far.

Typical old school hotel. Decent but nothing fancy but there did seems to be a lot of questionable folks hanging around the place.

The room was OK, just a little bit smelly in the room. Front fest was nice.

Electrical power circuit breakers exposed next to a sink. No sprinkler. No pillow case. Air conditioner very loud. Wifi not working. Try another.

I saw the reviews and I cringed! But you cannot always believe what you read. The place is an older hotel (an ex-Holiday Inn) but the rooms were clean and cleaned daily while we were there. We had great wireless internet access, it is pet friendly and the staff is great! They were always willing to help with anything we needed and very knowledgable of the area. There is a White Castle, Rite Aide, Amigos Mexican Restaurant, and various other eating establishments and businesses just across the parking lot. Birchwood Mall is just up the street to the north with a movie theater that runs movies till late hours. The Pine Grove park is less than a mile away with the Port Huron Lightship Museum that is very interesting. The Bluewater Bridge to Canada is also within a mile. Don't believe all that you read. We had a very nice stay and would definitely do it again at this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for being so great! Greg, Linae, Stephen, Sarah, and Michael Tabor Sadie and Samantha (our rotties).
