They were rude and we paid 150 for a room and breakfast was not included…

Worst hotel experience I have EVER had. Multiple overcharges on our credit cards, cancelled room reservations, non-working tv, room keys wouldnt work, the list goes on. Too many problems on my daughter's wedding weekend. I would not stay there even if the rooms were free!

Except for the freezing cold lobby/bar and restaurant area the hotel is great! Staff and servers were also amazing. But unless it’s warmer in there tonight I’ll go out to eat!

Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and cleanliness, definitely recommend to anyone and would use their service anytime I am in the area!

The Marriott of Lansing was exactly what we needed for a night away. Incredibly clean and accommodating. I couldn’t be more happy with our stay.

Started here a few times for work. Its nowhere near as nice as some of the other hotels in the area however it is a work in progress. The rooms are pretty clean and the beds are very comfortable. The outside facade looks like a dumb but they're fixing it up. Lots of good shopping and attractions across the street but other than that it's not really close or convenient for anyting. It's located right next to a major highway so there's quite a bit of noise.

Off to a great start — really convenient location along with a great staff! Started with a quick one or two nights at this property but the staff really goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Obviously not that they’re gonna do it for everyone but I was pleased to see this in my room after a rough day of work — can’t say it enough — staff staff staff at this place — really good Hotel!

Comfy and clean rooms. Great staff. Within walking distance of some shops across the street.

Good location and excellent staff. On site parking is plentiful and free. There's a bistro/cafe/bar that serves everything from breakfast to cocktails and a small store area for other goods. The lounge has lots of seating and outlets. Rooms are pretty standard with plenty of outlets and decent bedding/mattresses/pillows.

This was not one of my best stays at a Marriott. The hotel appears to be updated but it seems they only did a partial job. The wallpaper was peeling off my bedroom wall. I heard everything happening in the hall. I must have been close to a employee's area because most of the night a door was opening and closing. It just wasn't the quality I expect from Marriot.

Marriot Platinum member and the room I received was not a king bed and smelled like an ashtray. I switched on day two of my stay. I would expect Marriott to offer points, dinner or something for your trouble but nothing. They also had almost no snacks available. I still only dinged them a star because everything else was fine. Next time I'll stay at a full service marriott across town.

We had a great conference and the service at the cafe was outstanding! Thanks to all of the ladies who kept us well fed!

Rooms are fine but the hotel bar/bistro is awful. They don't keep beer or liquor stocked and breakfast is extremely slow.

Good for quick overnight business stay. I am a big Marriott fan and will always pick the hotel brand for business and vacation. This location is a bit run down and the elevator is in a wacky corner of the building. Did not make for a fun choice to lug my bag up a flight of stairs.

Large clean double queen room overlooking the Courtyard, so it was a quiet room at night. The air conditioner/heater was old-style, with the controls mounted on top of the wall-mounted unit below the window. Newer rooms sport these controls in a wall-mounted thermostat, on an inside wall where the temperature sensing is more appropriate for people who spend their time deep inside the room and not down below the window sill. It was also noisy when the fan and/or compressor kicked on during heating and cooling cycles. The refrigerator had a noisy compressor and caused me to unplug it. Like most hotels, the bed/mattresses were already slumping from over-use and not being turned routinely. You'd think hotels would want to extend the life of their mattresses and turn them every month or so instead of just letting them sag their way to an early ruin. But apparently this is too difficult or there is a tax incentive to let them expire early? I had a wake up call for 6:00 AM and it rang repeatedly perhaps on 5 occasions. This happened AFTER I had picked it up immediately on the second ring the first time. It was confusing and annoying. I called the front desk to complain at about 6:07 AM and the front desk person asked if I had heard anything when I first answered it. I said No, I only heard a dial tone. He said I should have heard a message saying Good Morning. That would have been better than a dial tone.

They aren't able to accommodate the nice drinks that they advertise on their bar/restaurant menu because they're out of everything and it closes way too early on the weekends. I also got, what I'm assuming were bites from bed bugs while there. If your on the highway side the sounds of the highway underpass could keep you awake. However, the second time I stayed I was on the other side of the hotel and slept well. The staff have been really nice, very accommodating, especially my second visit. Appreciate that there's a little store to buy snacks and beer. Just keep it stocked!

Reserved this hotel for the pool. Pool light, still attached and wired to the wall, is floating loose in the pool. Front desk assured me it's turned off. Are you kidding? Close the pool and fix it, maybe?

Good location, nice rooms. Lack of breakfast was disappointing.

I wasn't in the room for my wake up call, the staff took the time to come check in me when I didn't answer. Very thoughtful! I haven't seen that before and a nice touch.

Staff is absolutely amazing! So friendly, upbeat and helpful! Comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I was sent to to occupied rooms before I finally received an employee room. Does their computer system really not show if a room is occupied? The room however was comfortable.

They have a very nice Starbucks counter that serves food. Very nice late at night.

The rooms are great. The TV was great with access to apps like Netflix and Hulu as well as cable. Workers were nice people. Over all it's a great hotel. Would recommend.

Hotel is decorated in a modern decor. Few amenities like small bar of soap for sink and shower and very small shampoo and conditioner bottles. There looked to be a decent size pool but we didn't try. There was also a small workout room. There was no breakfast included and only an expensive Starbucks bar. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. The location is near a large mall and there are several dinner options closer by and within walking distance across the parking lot.

The people were nice but some very obvious problems. About half the staff smokes (might explain why my room smelled like a pipe just burst). The pool isn’t regularly cleaned and appears to be dirty, Which it probably is. Had to wait hours after our room was due to get in. They gave us the wrong room twice. However have to give it a plus that the TVs allow you to sign into Netflix Hulu and other streaming sites. May work for a 1 night stay but would not recommend for more than that.

Bed was a little tall toilet was a little short for my mom but other than that great place to stay.

Updated rooms with excellent amenities. Unobstructed plugs in the nightstands is a nice touch too.

Friendly staff, nice and modern looking, very comfortable beds, a pool, and Starbucks at the Market. The only thing it's missing is a hot tub!

Room was great, staff was very friendly. Only downside was there is no free breakfast bar, and the café that they have instead is expensive and takes a while to prepare your food.

Modern updated rooms Wi-Fi decent cable clean no bed bugs little more professionalism on the repairs in the bathroom would make it a five-star.

Short business stay, but excellent staff that are knowledgeable and kind. The facilities are top notch as well.

This hotel is very utilitarian. It provides you with a reasonably comfortable bed, and not much else. The rooms are in dire need of renovation. The showers are small and uncomfortable, the shower head is too low, the bathrooms are awkwardly laid out, the paint is scratched, chipped, and damaged. This is one of few hotels in the area, all of which are in similar condition. I recommend avoiding the area and staying in another nearby city with better accommodations if possible, but if you must stay in the area, this is as good as it gets.

I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott as part of a bridal party and they were very accommodating. They upgraded the bride's hotel room to the best hotel suite, brought us a roll away bee, amount other grand gesters. The hotel was recently renovated and in all, looks awesome. There is not free breakfast, but the little coffee shop serves delicious breakfast sandwiches.

Lobby was clean and modern. Check in was quick. Room was clean and comfortable and they were able to accommodate my request for an ADA room.

Good rooms. Messed up reservation and not much to correct it. Breakfast bar was great. Parking a challenge. Restaurants within very reasonable walking distance. There's a pool that looks good. Overall good impression.

Great room. Clean. Rehearsal dinner for a wedding, reserved a room to eat in. Any additional service was quickly provided. Needed 40 seats, and got 25, but they quickly rectified the situation. Definitely a thumbs-up.

Had a terrible experience. Staff was rude, shower control was falling off, key cards would just randomly stop working, and coffee was ice cold in lobby as was the pool. It was too cold to enjoy the pool. Would never stay there again. Very disappointed. Put out good money for a nice weekend and was let down.

I love this remodeled Courtyard. Clean, quiet and nice to look at. The Bistro hs pretty good food, too.

Been here two times a year for the last 6 years and it is always incredible. Great rooms, very clean.

Courtyard Lansing was very clean and a pleasant stay. All of the staff were very helpful and were pleasant. The rooms were stocked with everything we needed, from water to proper outlets for both USB and general electronics. Overall a good stay, would visit again.

Good hotel good price. Close to msu.

Clean. Reasonably quiet. Pool was way too cold for swimming and I Scuba dive under the ice! Workout room was OK.

When booking on line, the hotel provided rate with a cancellation policy of 1 day (from the booking date) in a hidden print (which I never noticed! ). Upon cancellation of the reservation several days before the scheduled stay, there was no mention that the hotel would charge me anyways. This hotel then proceeded with the charge even though there was plenty of time to re-book the room and charge someone else for the same room! When I contacted the hotel, they were very unresponsive, unfriendly and not willing to refund the charge. Shame on you for taking advantage of a new customer!

Holed up here for a week or so to slang crack and weed out they room. They be like, "foo, you slangin crack and weed out this hotel? " I was like, "nope"… and then I totally be doin it.

Great service, clean room, I will definitely keep them in mind for future stays.
