I loved my night at this hotel. Nice modern atmosphere, well updated rooms with nice amenities, and helpful and friendly staff. Being able to take an elevator from the parking garage beneath the building right up to the floor of the hotel I was staying on was so convenient. Great location near restaurants and the university.

Excellent service. Great place to have conferences. The room was comfortable and has everything one might need. Plenty of food options surrounding the hotel. A beautiful church is across the street for anyone needing one. Tip: The room was a bit muggy and needed better circulation.

Great place for small business meetings. It's to small to accommodate large conferences though. Other than that, it's in a great location and has parking on site.

Spent a few nights here for a family wedding. They upgraded us because of a mistake with Central reservations. Room was clean, bed was fantastic, location was convenient, many shops in the area in walking distance, lobby bar was great! All around great stay.

Great hotel if you are visiting East Lansing for the university. Great and friendly locals. I would highly recommend this Hotel!

I understand this is a college town but to be discriminated by age before we enter the building is out of question. We had reservations and returned after a night out and were asked to leave before we entered our room.

Centrally located in central E Lansing. Room was clean. Walk-in shower has low edge. Very easy to use. Hotel does not contain a full service restaurant.

The rooms look recently redone — everything is in top notch condition and there are outlets and USB wall plugs aplenty. Everyone has been very friendly. The location is great too. Lots of restaurants in the area!

This Marriott was recently renovated, and the lobby is spacious, stylish, and contains a cosy bar. On the mezzanine is the restaurant, and a coffee bar for those in a hurry or who don't eat breakfast (like me). Staff are friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

The air conditioning was loud and too cold originally, but our hosts were able to make the temperature more comfortable.

Went to a catered event and I had the world's driest steak. Nice location otherwise.

Room was very nice and clean. Shower and bathroom was very nice. Did NOT have a mini fridge, microwave, or free Wi-Fi. Pool was cold, and there was no hot tub. Did not have the chance to try room service.

Hotel was pretty good. Room was nice. Modern. I requested a king bed. They didn't have any so I got 2 double beds. A hotel like this I would have expected queen beds at the least. Also I couldn't get the heat right. Came in the room. The a/c was set at 64. It was January. I set the heat at 70. I woke up during the night sweating. It was 75 and the heat still coming out. The rest was good.

We went here for my daughter's birthday and the service was awesome. The rooms were very nice. It was walking distance to any store you may need. The cook brought out a special treat for my daughter. It was like Gordon Ramsay made it.

We love coming to visit here. The staff is always warm and inviting, no matter what. Even during the most recent power outage in East Lansing the staff went the extra mile providing pizza for everyone while we waited for the power to be restored. Kevin and his staff are GREAT!

I did not go to the actual hotel the out side is lovely and they had a nice flea market like event going on. There was a wonderful ice sculpture. They also had live music going on.

FYI, I did not actually stay at this hotel. However, my experience with it was work related and I did get to see some of the employees at work as well as the lobby and main floor presentation. It was a very well designed and comfortable building with what seems like great customer service. Decorations are elegant. Location is prime, as there are many stores and attractions nearby.

The parking was easy and well lit for attending an evening event. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the sides and dessert, however the main dish served was dry. Overall good experience.

A little too expensive for what I was needing, also there was no fridge in the room. Watch out for the bed frame as well, easy to hit your shin on. Hah. Otherwise nice location and great view, clean room with a good amount of space.

Ideal location for visiting MSU, central location easy to get around. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again if I had the chance.

I came here for a wedding and we got placed on a for away from the wedding party. The very courteous staff got us an available room on the same floor. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Also being able to hang out downstairs was nice for a wedding after party.

Excellent service and such a clean atmosphere. I have always had a pleasant experience every time I come here.

Love the decoration and interior, but mostly the good was great. The best part was the food, had a graduation ceremony there and was completely blown away by the food. They had great selection and everything tasted fantastic. Would highly recommend for a wide variety of occasions from weddings to birthday parties.

Classy and awesome. From the ambience to the friendly service I will never stay anywhere else in or around East Lansing. The front desk gave my tired kids stuffed animals upon arrival, and our hostess and waitress Alake at the restaurant was amazing. Thanks again.

I've been here several times to catch the Michigan Flyer to the Detroit Metro Airport. There is a bike rack next to the pick up spot. The staff are accommodating and you can go in to use the restroom or sit inside when it's too cold or hot out. Very nice.

The rooms are a bit small. There are rooms with windows to the atrium. With all that said it is the best hotel in Lansing. Right next to campus. Easy walk to food, drink and campus. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was here to get my final haircut at Douglas J before they closed this location. The hotel lobby looks so much better than it used to. It is more open and has a new bar.

I stop there for the ELPL maker space in the second floor. It's open to the public.

You was right. You da best. You loyal. The hotel was huuuuuuuuuge. But for real I enjoyed the stay as it was well kept and very nice. The breakfast was really damn expensive though.

Great location, easy walk to downtown and surrounding bars and restaurants. Facilities were clean. Only down side is that the rooms are not very noise proof to hallway sound. We were woken up a few times throughout the night because of guests coming and going to their rooms.

Rooms are very nice, updated and clean. Great location if you are going to be visiting downtown area. Easy access to bus routes to get to events you may be attending.

Had to pay $12 for parking and when we left the next day, Sunday, the lot gates were up. We could have parked there for free if we weren't a guest. Total freaking rip off.

Room was in good condition. Clean and comfortable. Sound deadening was nearly non existent. Was able to hear every word of every person getting off the elevator at all hours of the night. Barely able to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time from noises waking us up.

Have always had a great experience here. Location is great and so are the amenities.

It is quite nice for a 3 star hotel. It has all the necessities and is comfortable stay. The best hotel in the area.

Since the remodel, this place has looked great. Great location and good amenities. *Disclaimer* I've never stayed there, so I can't rate the rooms themselves, but business wise, its a good place to be.

A nice hotel, but what is with charging for Wi-Fi? It's 2015, $13 a day for Wi-Fi is crazy when almost everywhere has it for free.

Updated lobby, rooms and amenities are tired.

We stayed at Marriott East Lansing location for two nights and had the most pleasant experience. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and cordial. The room service was excellent and food was great. My daughter was taking her Michigan Bar exam. And was to be free in the afternoon. The hotel staff allowed us a late check out at 3 PM, which was greatly appreciated. Even though there was some construction going on, but it did not effect our stay in any adverse way. I congratulate the hotel management and the staff for maintaining such a high level of customer service. Thank you.

Super Cool they have workers pressure washing god knows what with loud compressors starting at 2 a. M. In the morning. Why they couldn't do this in the daytime is beyond me.

Service was excellent. I really like the staff.

We made a reservation and called to cancel and they said a seven day cancellation was in effect! We made the reservation two days before our proposed arrival. When we made the reservation no one stated that it was nonrefundable! The staff was very rude when explaining the policy! I would encourage a fair and upfront approach in the future. I am an MSU alumni so we stayed quite often. Do you think we will be staying there in the future? Followup: However later the manager had second thoughts and made it right.

Our company sent nearly 50 guys to stay here for several weeks, and they absolutely went above and beyond to accomodate their hectic schedules! We couldn't have asked for anything more :-) HIGHLY recommend them, especially for business customers.
