Do not work there or give them a dime of your money. My daughter got tired of their bullying and quit. The took over 2$/hour off her last pay check. Deducting money off past hours worked is illegal in the state of Michigan. Y’all have been warned. These people are shady at the crytes rd lansing location.

The room was nice but a unexpected 150 deposit and hot food was advertised but not available also no hot tub in pool.

Not clean, old furniture, tub is horrible.

Window was open in my first floor room when I entered. Closed the window but it wouldn't lock. Went back to the front desk and was offered a different room. Moved to a different room still on the first floor and the window was open there as well. While trying to close it the bottom of the window frame slipped off exposing the edge of the glass which cut off a small slice of my finger tip. I had my hand wrapped in a washcloth from the second room bathroom to keep it from bleeding all over the floor. That window also would not lock. Went to the desk and explained what had happened in the second room, showed her my bleeding finger, and that the window wouldn't lock in that room either. She didn't believe me. She went to check both windows and came back and told me she was able to lock them. We went back to the second room and I was able to push open the window she had just locked. I then showed her how the bottom of the window frame slips off exposing the edge of the glass when trying to close it. She stated "Oh okay so do you want another room because we won't have maintenance here to fix it until Monday". I said that I would not and that I would be checking out. When we got back to the desk I asked her if she had a band-aid for my cut finger. She looked through several cabinets and drawers, left the check-in desk area, and then came back with a packet containing a single piece of gauze.

Horrible experience. Bed bugs and when addressed about thee situation was told I was liar and staged the photos. This place needs to be shut down.

I stayed at this hotle for a few hours and experienced gross bandaids in the pool area. The pool was dirty. Box springs in the room full of crumbs and lent. Drains smelled like sewage. On top of that, there was a roach in the shower! We left immediately after. I recommend not staying here at all! They also gave me a hard time with my refund. Terrible customer service!

The lady was at the front desk was so friendly.

Rooms were fifthy, chair arms were greasy. Had to move to another room, air didn’t work. Nephew and his family in another room, opened up couch for kids to sleep, rat droppings everywhere. Carpet dirty. I would not recommend to anyone.

Check in was smooth, front desk clerk was super friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

We entered the room on the first night and literally left within an hour. We had it reserved for 8 nights but did not stay there at all. I could possibly live with the fact that the room is outdated but it was overall uncomfortable and unclean. There were peeling ceilings, scotch tape pieces in random places all over the ceilings (no doubt from some sort of party that took place prior to our arrival), old dingy furniture, and heating/air vents caked in dust. The secondary entrance on the side of the building had a "key only" access at the door but was NEVER locked. This made it feel completely unsafe! The stairwells and hallways smelled like someone was constantly smoking in their room, despite the no smoking signs and smoke free policy. We booked this on Orbitz sight unseen for a week long trip to transfer a loved one to hospice care, wasted $953 since the hotel has a NO REFUND policy. Now we know why… very disappointed in this hotel.

My daughter was busy working for her employer. So I got to stay here and use their weight room and other amenities. Very nice.

Good place to stay, breakfast was good, the pool area needs work though, it gets very cold in there and the front desk says they have no way to control the temperature in there, maybe a space heater? Plus the lighting is pretty dark at night. Other than the pool, it’s a great place to stay.

Clean the rooms better. There was at least a half inch if not an inch thick of dust on most items, found broken glass behind the chair in my room and a dried french fry covered in dust under a table in the main area of the room. Also, the tub appeared that it wasn't even wiped down. Very sad. This use to be a very nice hotel.

This hotel was pretty nice, the people at the front desk were super kind! The rooms were pretty clean as well. The pool was also very nice but didn't have a lot of light when it got dark. Overall a very nice hotel!

Place was beautiful, staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good. Only complaint was the beds were too soft and I had a hard time sleeping on them. Anytime my partner moved the whole bed shook. And the pillows were very flat. Overall good experience for the price!

Room was very clean. The carpet in the room felt wet. Near the elevator they had a fan so there had been issues with wet carpet in the hotel. Front desk offered water and called once to check and see if there is something they can help with. Good customer service. Bed was comfortable. Parking was free and close. Breakfast was good too. They had sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuit with normal continental stuff. Overall a good hotel except for the wet feeling of carpet.

Woke up at 2am by front staff who claimed my credit card declined, but when I went down the next morning it went through just fine. Staff blamed me for the problem. Nobody, let alone staff in a hotel should be calling a guest at 2am unless there is a fire or terrorist threat or some serious emergency. Breakfast sucked. Room was clean and spacious. But the primary purpose for having a hotel room is to sleep at night and the staff could care less and I quote, “ I would do it again if I had to. ” So, staff apparently have free rein to behave as they wish with no consequences? You have been warned. Do not stay here. See ironic pic below, it’s a sign telling guests not to disturb other guests, but staff can call at 2am if they wish. Another group of 25 were turned away and their rooms given to others because the credit card they made the reservations with declined. Seems they have a problem with their credit card processing.

Water pressure was the worst. Pouring out a water bottle would have been higher pressure. The staff was really nice, the pool was nice, the elevator was a hot box, breakfast was actually pretty good. But overall not worth 135 a night but 80 to 90$ sure. Beds were pretty comfortable.

Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Reasonably priced. All amenities, microwave and refrigerator. Tv is a nice size. I would recommend.

Had a handful of interviews over two days in the Lansing area, so I booked a hotel the night between them. Did it on the website, which offered me a better room rate for joining the rewards program. Arrive for check-in to find that I've been given a free upgrade for being in the free rewards program. Thanks! Breakfast was tasty, and while I know the hotel can't control this — I've never seen a hotel where guests so pleasantly talked to each other in the breakfast room! Decor is pretty clearly a little on the dated side, and shower water pressure could have been a bit better — but overall, I feel like I made a great choice for where to stay!

Good location. Over priced for what you get but understand that it was graduation weekend and we had no choice. Had a block of rooms and every guest had an issue and needed to be moved. Two staff upon checkin one was nice and other did not even make eye contact. First room was not clean. Obvious patch work on walls. Second room was better and decent size. Water pressure and temp poor. Stains on carpet. Piles of Dirt along the sides of refrigerator. Used to be nice hotel. Hasn't kept up with the times. Needs a good refresh. Owner should put some money back into the hotel. There's lots of potential in this place.

The room was very big and comfy. I liked the separate "living" and "sleeping" areas. The mini fridge was super tiny. Can't even have a pop standing up.

This place was pretty nice. The two folks that checked us in were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the breakfast ladies were great and the Internet was fast. The room (205) was pretty clean minus what looked like old ketchup or another condiment/sauce on the bottom of the alarm clock. The fridge was clean, the microwave was clean, and the restroom was clean and well stocked. The hotel did seem a little older and could use a remodel.

My son & his family stayed here over the weekend. Excellent suite. Friendly staff. Pool area was nice.

Nothing spectacular. The bed was comfortable and the TV was prepared with the essential channels… including Fox Sports Detroit (Go Tigers). The water pressure was weak and the shower temperature was a little low. The breakfast relies heavily on waffles. If you don't like waffles. Breakfast may be a bit rough for you. The price was reasonable.

Clean and comfortable, nice pool. Easy access to I496 and I96. Great value for the price.

A great little hotel! Close to the highway with plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was tidy. Our beds were comfortable, with extra pillows, and clean. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, as well as breakfast (coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, fresh waffles, breakfast sausage, yogurt and juice). Very reasonable prices too! I'll definitely stay here again, next time I'm in Lansing.

I had stayed at this hotel while visiting Lansing, Michigan a few months back. I found that my stay was uniterupted and comfortable as well as the breakfast bar being absolutely enjoyable with many options to choose from. Their selection in rooms has settings for all.

I was here on a business trip. First impression was welcoming and that was it. Friendly staff and what not. Rooms were weird. I'm 6 foot 6 in a small bed. It was comfy but my colleague found a bed bug. Literally 3 hours later we checked into holiday inn. The room was were paper thin so I could hear people having what sounded like unnatural behavior. Ugh and the constant waking up to small sounds was terrible. Plus I found blood stains on the shower curtain. Do not stay here.

Service was quality, and customer staff was extremely friendly! In the room, the bedding and linen was clean, all equipment worked, and the room was spacious. In the morning, breakfast was well prepared and presentation was awesome! Overall, our stay was very relaxing! My wife and I appreciate you guys for your hospitality! Amazing… great and friendly staff… We were missing a few items and they brought them to our room, problems with the vending machine and they made it right, front desk so helpful. Requested add'l towels for morning and we had them within 5 minutes. Room was great — 2 bedroom with kings tv, livingroom with TV kichenette … was clean and well worth the $. Breakfast included and waffles, eggs, sausage amd much more. Highly highly recommend.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of food, the staff was friendly. I have stayed there twice and if I ever have to stay in the area again this is where I will stay! Great value, clean room, good night's sleep!

Our stay at the hotel was great. The room was very clean, and we thought the setting up was great, having two TVs and a separate room so your child (s) could sleep quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall it's a great stay.

I wish that I could share a video and a photo of what I am currently experiencing at this hotel. Yesterday morning I fought an unknown insect for what seemed like an eternity before I killed it with the bible kept in the nightstand. Tonight I listened to the smoke alarms for about 20 minutes, packed all my stuff ready to escape a fire only to walk into the hall where the contractor was still working. I kept asking if I needed to "escape" no response. Then the fire trucks showed up. My company is paying for my stay here so I can't find it in me to complain to management however, I personally would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This is not my first stay here, last week went smoothly. This week started with bad customer service at check in and has just went downhill since. That's why I am rating 2 stars instead of — 6.

Being that I am a housekeeper elsewhere it is easy for me to spot things. When I first walked into my room, the bed looked messy, not tightly tucked it looked like someone had already slept on top of the bed. Also I went to put food in the cabinet next to the microwave and there was an empty liquor bottle and waded up dirty towels in the cabinet. Not impressed with the cleanliness of my room. The rest of the hotel was nice including the breakfast; great variety of food to eat.

The room had the strong smell of bleach. The AC doesn't really work and the breakfast is not very good. It's a shame because it seems like corners are being cut to save money at the price of comfort level. Used to be our go to hotel in Lansing.

Horrible place! They are very racist they don't clean the rooms properly, they half do everything there! They clean the bathrooms and wipe down the other things such as the counters with the same rag!

The best was the bed, was very comfortable. Room was noisy, could hear kids next door clearly. Staff was very nice. Free breakfast was kind of gross. Overall, wasn't too bad.

Stayed for 2 nites with my 2 children the first night I had no problems but when I went down to the front desk to add another night the price went up because they said I added my children whom the said we're my occupancies which they were also there the first night. The service wasn't bad but after I checked out they even charged me for a smoking fee and I'm a non-smoker. Never smoked in the hotel or outside the hotel. My children are asthmatic. When I called they said the manager wasn't in and could not help me. They are just taking my $100.00. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. This hotel is very unprofessional and this is totally unacceptable. I need to hear from the manager if you're getting this feedback. If I could of rated you a zero I would have because $100 is lost. Is this a profit for the cleaning crew or what. Who gets this money from people who DO NOT SMOKE! THIS IS A BOGUS CHARGE. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! I will never stay here again, when I come into town to see my children from out of state. Stay away from this hotel. The crown plaza maybe been a better choice. That's where I'll be headed next time I'm in Lansing, MI…

Clean room excellent service. Called right after we checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We're very helpful guiding us to local attractions.

The fourth is delivered until after 3 o'm late.

Not a bad place, will be better after renovation.

This hotel is a great value! The rates are inexpensive, the rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good. I will be staying here again.

Fun place for hockey trip.

My kids and I frequent hotels often for the fun of it. We've been here before and really like it! The staff were overly helpful accommodating every need. They didn't have any double bed rooms left so we got a king room and Michael made sure to bring a roll away bed for my son. We love the cleanliness, soft beds with feather pillows. I could sleep all day here! To me, the place is updated well with new carpet, flat screen TVs, great clean linens with extra blanket and pillow in room. AC works perfect. Breakfast is OK. Kids didn't care for it much but I like the variety and that there is hot food offered, not just cereal, bagels and toast. The only downfall to this place for us is that there is no hot tub! We enjoy hot tubs along with a pool. But for the price here, overall its a great place, we will always come back. Thank you so much comfort inn. I had to write a review.

My family and I stayed here for 4 days. Room service only came once and did a horrible job. The bathroom was more disgusting after they cleaned the room than before. We had to practically beg to get the room cleaned with more towels and soap. The hotel lost our last nights reservation and when we got back to the hotel the night before we left they were very rude and told us how we inconvinienced them. However we had proof that we had booked all four nights and paid well in advance. The morning we left they made a point to tell us that we needed to leave by noon. The pool was the size of our bath tub at home and the lights kept turning on and off so we had to leave because we couldnt see. I wouldnt even take a free night from all the problems.

The staff was great and we've loved the breakfast. They did a great job in room service and the staff took time getting to know us. The only reason for a four star is the chlorine levels in the pool, and hot tub. It burned our eyes. My family will definitely be staying here during our next visit to Lansing.

I'm from the Lansing area, but my parents' home is sooo small, so we stay at Country Inn most of the time. We've never had any issues, and it's convenient to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants.

Very nice stay. Just needs new TVs.

We have stayed here alot just for a night away. The rooms are always clean cant complain about anything.
