I did 12 day stay for work. I stay at alot of hotels these staff members were soo great friendly and alwats making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. My room was great clean and neat. Pool area was always clean breakfast area very clean and always filled. I had no bad things about baymont in howell I will stay there again. The manager is doing a great job and staff all work as a team as it should be.

Very lazy staff. The manager refuses to call the maintenance guy, because the TV's have the floating DirecTV logo/black screen. I'm not the only one to complain about this problem. Never staying here again. Crappy breakfast and ignorant night manager. Reminds me of the manager Chris and the Kensington Inn.

My wife and I and three children booked 4 days here. It was clean and adequate enough, however being that we have children, ages 8, 6, and 2, they tend to get a little rambunctious, however, I would expect a phone call from the front desk if they were making any disturbances. As I opened the door to walk out of the room, I was surprised to see two of the young female employees not standing directly in front of the door when I opened it but off to the side leaning forward engaged in what I would consider eavesdropping. They appeared to be as surprised as I was, as they immediately straightened up their posture and stepped directly in front of the door with a stack of towels in their hand, which were requested a couple hours prior. My wife proceeded to go speak to another employee at the front desk to report the incident. She had informed my wife that one of the two employees has a "soft knock", and that they were simply trying to determine whether anybody was present in the room before entering to perform their housekeeping duties, however in the very next breath she stated that the two housekeepers thought they heard arguing, which is understandable, because as I stated previously our three children can be quite rambunctious at times. So which one was it? Were they simply verifying whether or not someone was in the room, but if they heard arguing, then they obviously knew the room was still occupied!

Very outdated. Hallways smelled like smoke. Carpet was all stained throughout. Not worth the money.

Good $65 a night hotel. Dirty and run down, but adequate.

Everything was clean and well organized. The hotel itself seems a little bit dated when compared to surrounding options. It's next to a shopping center if you have needs for those types of things. It's also within relatively close walking distance to a couple restaurants. When I first walked into the room, though, the air conditioner had been set to 60 degrees. The room was freezing!

Hotel is run down and dirty! Not worth the money! Baymont is usually a nice hotel but this location is gross! I will never return.

Incompetent and pathetic. Started out great. Check in was easy. Room nice. Water pressure SUCKS. Came to the room, ordered Jetz pizza (best in Michigan) phone rang. I had to go down stairs to get my food. Really? The desk clerk informs me they dont allow pizza deliveries upstairs … huh? That's the reason for delivery. If I wanted to go down 3 flights to get my food, I would have picked it up at the restaurant. So I have a debit card I keep for emergencies and also my car payment comes off this card. When I checked in, I paid cash and she said she would need a card on file in case of damages. No problem. She swipes the card, all is well. I checked my accounts and bam, I'm overdrawn. Sometime after she swiped it, my car payment ran. I knew there was enough to cover both the car payment and the 50 dollar deposit she stated it would hold. Well, she authorized 102.60. The price of the room. Without my knowledge. So, the bank protects me by pulling from my savings to cover the payment. They also charge me a 35 dollar "convenience" charge. Watch what they charge you. She claimed the money will go back on the card. Great, my 35 bucks wont tho.

Not enough towels the beds were terrible the microwave didn't work and they absolutely would not come fix it or replace it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was well prepared and clean. The continental breakfast was basic. The property itself is a bit worn. We didn't try out the pool.

I have time and time again tried to use baymont for my kids to swim in the pool and have some family time without leaving town. Every time I have stayed there, the water was too cold and my kids and I couldn't swim as there lips would go blue. I was pregnant one time and couldn't go in the pool either bc of the cold. Normally I would just deal with it but couldnt. I complained several times about it but nothing was done. Very disappointed.

If I could give less stars I would arrived late at night never inspected the room to ensure it was clean expected it would be my mistake woke up to find a pillow on the side of the bed that had a huge nasty stain told the front desk they said they couldn't do anything I needed to go online to contact the manager. Manager contacted us back very unapologetic and blames us. Upon further inspection of the room there was a black stain on the ceiling same as the pillow appeared to be mold sat in a chair soaked my pants. Touched the other chair before sitting felt dry sad down again soaking wet cushion. Management and desk staff both very rude and unhelpful. Also the free shuttle they advertise will cost you 200$ beware. Too bad I can upload photos to my review.

We rented the pool area and breakfast room for my granddaughters birthday party. It was a very nice and clean facility. Clean towels were made readily available by the staff. The room was clean and perfect size for our party. It was a fun event.

This hotel has gone down hill. When I stayed here 5 years ago this was a nice place. The continental breakfast was very plain. Cold cereal, bagels to toast and sugar filled yogurt. Gone are the make your own waffles that were so good. Will definitely not be going back to stay.

It was an okay stay, I wish there was more of a variety for breakfast, also the hot tub wasn’t working, however they upgraded me for Free and we were able to use the breakfast area to host a mini Birthday Party!

With subzero temperatures outside it took a lonnnnngg time to get water hot enough to take a shower. Plus, there were slim pickings for breakfast, terrible Wi-Fi, and the freezer had mold.

The staff was really friendly but the hotel it's self needs alot of updates. Pool was nice and warm but it to needs to be updated. Just say that the got tub was filled with dirt. Breakfast was disappointing.

I was not very happy. I booked a room on line, three people, one small dog, no problem. Got there to check in was told they don't allow dogs anymore. They did how ever let her stay the nite. My sheets were stained, bed uncomfortable. I will not stay here again. Front desk lady was rude at time of check in.

The hotel served it's purpose and the beds were comfortable but overall wasn't in the best shape.

My husband and I had a most enjoyable time at your hotel. I wish other hotels employed the staff your lucky to have. Our housekeeper Shae Lampe, head of housekeeping Linda, and don't forget that smiling face of Deborah behind the front desk. I will definitely be back… their that good! Horrible when you book a king suite and you get a full bed. And they tell you that you aren’t guaranteed to get what you booked online. And then the hallways smelled like someone was smoking pot and they were aware of the situation just hadn’t taken care of it. Very outdated, huge potholes in the parking lot, over grown weeds, no curb appeal.

Rooms aren't bad but the hotel allows dogs and the dogs next door we're barking and then the hall way had piddle pads on the carpet where someone's dog pee'd in the hallway and it looked like they just put the pads over the wet carpet and step on them to absorb it and than just left the wet pads laying there like they didn't want to spray the spots and clean it up. Pretty nasty. The front desk girl was very nice and put warm cookies out for us guest I thought that was a nice thing to do for a evening treat.

Clean, albeit older hotel. Some material condition issues that come with minimal budgeting. Staff willing to assist and navigate guest towards a positive resolve.

Staff was professional and courteous, I originally booked a single king, but they switched it to a double bed as per my request. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The only bad thing was the quality of the television. The cable signal was very weak or something, all that channels were fuzzy and not clear.

One of my main reasons for booking this room was that the hotel has a pool. I was not notified that the pool area is under construction until I checked in. Front desk staff said I shouldn't mind the pool being closed because my room had a bath tub. The room wasn't super clean and breakfast in the morning was kind of gross. There were problems with the room keys also. It was a great bathtub, though.

Non operational hot tub. All hallways had weird smells different from each other. Stains on outdated carpet. Tarps on roof. Phone in room didn't work. Cable reception was terrible of the 36 channels probably 25 came in. Woke up itchy with bites on my feet and face. They comped a night and reduced my rates. Found fleas when I pulled the bed apart but dont believe they're fleabites though. Room 215. Might be better off sleeping in your car.

My stay in the Baymont Inn in Howell was great besides one thing the tv. Half of the channels had no sound and others went in/off. I hooked up a DVD player to it tho lol! Besides that it's very clean, stuff was warm and friendly. The pool is very nice and it's close to shopping Outlet Mall! Price wasn't bad at all! We will be back!
