Love the hotel! it is perfectly located for shopping and dining and the tulip gardens is only a block away. Rooms are very spacious, the shower is very nice, love the temperature setting option for hot water! beds were comfy, and pillows perfect. I would definitely recommend!

I like supporting boutique hotels (could be hit or miss) and my experience from check-in to check-out was superb!
This hotel is LEED Gold Certified making it eco-friendly and CLEAN! No nasty carpet, instead replaced with cork board flooring. Even little details like plastic water bottles were replaced with a paper carton box, clever! You will not feel claustrophobic in their rooms due to the high loft ceiling to the 8 person shower (swear a entire family could’ve fit) this hotel checked ✔️ off all boxes when it came to cleanliness and coziness, making for a memorable stay.
To top it off. The bed and bedding, ohhh that bed was the best I’ve ever slept in. So comfy, I’m looking into buying one.

Great location for visiting downtown Holland or the college. Environmentally friendly hotel. Large shower didn't have a door. Beds are very soft and comfy.

We attended a dinner event in the upstairs venue. The location was ideal and everything was gorgeous inside. The service of the bartenders in the lobby could have been better, but overall, would definitely come back.

Great event venue! My room was oddly shaped and tight. But the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Nice bar area in the lobby and a comfy sports "bar" with loungers.

Great hotel and great location. Right downtown Holland, which makes it easy to visit the downtown shopping and eating area. Free parking on site. The rooms are very spacious, as well as the bathrooms. Good bar/coffee shop downstairs, and great Wifi for working. The only issue I had with our room was that without the AC on, it got very hot even if the AC just turned off.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were modern and spacious and had super nice bathrooms. The only downside was that there isn't a pool… in Holland we'd have loved a pool yeah?

I've never stayed in this hotel, but I visit the restaurant and bar on the ground floor quite frequently. Their happy hour menu is one of the best I have ever seen. Super cheap and delicious food. It's nice to sit outside with a great view of the city.

The Lounge is a great place to watch TV and relax. Great coffee shop. Clean facilities. Friendly staff.

The room was large and quiet. Parking was free and convenient. However, the ice machine on our floor was broken and another guest commented that he had to ask the bar for ice. The shower head in our bathroom leaked and sprayed water everywhere. I needed to print a document and asked the front desk where the business center was located and they sent me to the fitness center. I asked another employee where the business center was located and he shrugged his shoulders. Back at the front desk, I explained I wanted the business center not the fitness center, and was told the hotel did not have one. Now that was a surprise, an unpleasant one.

We love this place! We celebrated our daughters wedding reception at the CityFlats events venue on the 5rh floor. It was absolutly amazing! The staff was always very helpful and kind. We stayed in the hotel after the reception and the accommodations were enjoyable with the style being modern and sleek. The mattress was the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Definitely recommend this place.

Very unique hotel. Not like the chains I'm used to. Might be a little funky/swanky for some, but we had a great stay. Bathroom was spacious and clean. No carpet in the rooms which I have never seen before, but liked! No fridge or microwave in our room, but we didn't need either so that was ok. The COMFIEST bed I have ever slept in! I don't know what it is made of, I am assuming clouds and good thoughts. So great. Plenty of on site parking. We didn't partake in any of the food accommodations in the lobby, but there were always staff down there preparing food or coffee for guests. The light switches took us a minute to figure out. I'd consider it a "green" hotel. All the lights were on a main switch and then each light had its own switch; a lot of switches, but I appreciate the effort to minimize the use of electricity. They had a bin for trash and recyclables in the room, too, which I rarely see but always appreciate. Also just realized I never heard another guest coming or going while we were there. Very quiet rooms. You can easily walk to the downtown area from this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

We love this hotel! The location is ideal, walking distance to tons of shops & restaurants. Love the unique rooms & amenities. The restaurant/bar has just the perfect options. Convenient parking too.

Utilized a room for a work planning meeting all day. Food provided was fresh & tasted very good. Plenty of available parking in the area. Technology accommodations worked well. Great view of Downtown Holland. Would be very pleased to use City Flats accommodations again for another event.

Every room is different I have been in every one when it was being built. Different room designs and decorations with a trendy feel. Nice place to stay in Holland and good food at the restaurant on the top floor.

Place is great, 1st time there, everyone was great. A must go to place. Happy hour 4-7 daily, great specials, drinks, rooms nice & cozy, large showers. Will be going back again.

Very comfortable bed. The "eco friendly" shower is terrible, lowest flow I've ever felt, takes forever to get clean. No carpet in the room, too modern for my taste. Decent place to stay in Holland, but not cheap.

Front desk staff went above and beyond welcoming us and upgrading us! One bedroom king suite was amazing with incredible bathroom including huge soaker tub and large walk-in shower and very yummy smelling bath products! Highly recomend! Room was very clean, spotless actually, champagne was ice cold and waiting in room and was delicious. Excellent location and nice bar in lobby with good bar snacks and drinks.

I love going there after work for happy hour. The food is great and the drinks are unique. Just avoid Friday later happy hour times if your in a hurry, gets busy.

We went to check out their event space on the top floor of the hotel. We went without an appointment and were hoping to just take a quick peek, but their manager took us up and gave us a personal tour of the space! The space was nice, but unfortunately too small for our event.

The room was nice. Service was good. Location downtown made for easy walking.

I just went to grab a few drinks this time with a few friends in town but it's always just a good time at CityFlats. They keep it very tidy and the decor is modern and simple, but still pleasing to the eye without being totally over the top. Only qualm I had is that while we were there cops started congregating 20 feet behind us for no reason. It started with 2 and ended at like… 6? I don't know, but anyplace that on-duty cops like to gather makes my skin crawl. That's literally the only problem I could have had with that visit.

My company had an off-site management strategy meeting at CityFlats. The facility was very nice, modern and upscale. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I was at City Flats Hotel for a Christmas Party. The room was nice, the servers were attentive and friendly. The food was just ok. The veggies were supposed to be cooked, but most of it seemed raw. The chicken had a funky smell, and the beef option didn't seem very appealing. The dessert was awesome! And the atmosphere was great. Overall, a good experience, just the main course was not quite what I'd expect.

This hotel is great! Pros: excellent interior architecture and style. Everything was carefully chosen and designed. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and everything was quite clean. Softest linens we've probably ever come across. Just near the city center, and very affordable. Cons: The bathroom could use a minute amount of work, and the hard floors and concrete ceilings do transfer sound a bit.

Went for a wedding! The venue was clean, contemporary, and well put together. Staff was curteous and professional. The whole evening was fabulous. Great bar and well done food!

This is our second stay and highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are all individual and amazing. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. And the staff, are all wonderful.

This was the nicest hotel I've stayed at in the area. We stayed here on our wedding night and we were totally impressed. 5 stars!

Had a great time here. Check in was smooth as butter. The Sun night (Aug 6) the woman working the front desk was super helpful at fulfilling a few needs we had. The only weird thing was in our room. The shower and bathroom door had handles on the outside, but not the inside? Otherwise the room was great.

Very trendy and clean hotel. Room was spacious & the bathroom was very up to date. Placement of the TV was close to the bed, and there was ZERO noise from surrounding rooms (probably because the whole building is made of concrete). My only complaint is the lighting — could have used more. There's a full length mirror by the front door, and no light — seemed odd. Otherwise, a great hotel option in Holland, MI.

We stayed for 5 days and our room was never cleaned. We asked daily for service and were told it would be taken care of. Staff was friendly but very causal, and in no hurry. The staff vibe ran through the facility. Rooms were clean on arrival and the decor was very unique and well thought out. The furniture and decor was not aging well and had not been repaired or maintained. Lamp shades were very dusty and stained. Chips and cracks in furniture and wall facings. So much potential but the staff did not seem to be concerned about doing much of anything. Uniformed staff were shabby and unkempt. When we did see house keeping they were dressed in sweats and tee shirts. Location is great and close to everything. Parking was great. Might be okay to stay for just a day.

Stayed at cityflats for a wedding. The staff was amazingly friendly and always accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and the bed was more comfortable than my own. Very safe as you are required to have a key to get to the floors with rooms. Also in a great location.

Great location, modern stylish rooms, very accommodating staff. I had trouble with a room next to mine having a party and being loud. Management addressed my complaint immediately, moved me and called the room to warn about noise. I had friends staying on different floors and it was quiet there and in my new room. It could happen at any hotel and I was impressed with how management handled the situation.

I stayed at the hotel and had a party in their event space on the 5th floor. Everything was great! The food, the venue the staff were amazing! The facility is gorgeous!

Everything looked clean, staff wasn't very helpful and menu wasn't clear. Ordering what I thought would be a sandwich netted me a 35 minute wait for a pizza. The pizza was delicious though! The bar staff was much more friendly than the food kiosk.

Rooms are great! Very spacious and decor was awesome! Coffee delivery in the am! Way better than your regular hotel.

We went to City Flats for a quick drink during happy hour. We really enjoyed our time. We ended up having a couple of great appetizers and a couple of drinks and everything was excellent. We will definitely go back.

Modern design, unique rooms, and great location downtown holland. CityVu is a great restaurant, perfect for lunch with views of the city and outdoor seating in the summer. Recommend the burgers or the lunch buffet.

Great hotel with an excellent restaurant up top with a good view. There is a nice lounge as well downstairs. This is a great place to take a lady for a long weekend with easy access to Holland and pretty close to the beach.

Here for pleasure on a one night stay. Laying in a very comfortable bed at the moment. What time is it? 12:25am. Have called the desk once about an alarm clock going off in the room next to ours. It's still very much active at the moment unfortunately. I walked down to the desk and confronted the gal about it. She was extremely courteous and helpful, checking rooms all around to find the alarm clock. She offered to move me but I declined, as my stuff is all over (and I fear I will be moved to another room that could have the same issue). I feel like a hotel should have no alarms set on their bedside clocks by default. If I was woken at 12A by a default alarm, I'd demand a refund. She also told me that they have had this problem before, in regards to the alarms. If I got wind of this as a GM or supervisor, I would take leaps to make sure it never ever happened again. At exactly 1am the alarm stopped. I'm not sure if the issue was resolved or the alarm tuckered out. I'll credit the staff, given the alarm was active for over an hour. Service recovery. Then comes the other problem. There is not a lick of carpet in the hotel. All noise carries. People walking in the hallway. Doors being shut. People moving their chair and other stuff around above us. Toilet flush and shower can be heard everywhere. The furnace of the people above or wherever they were. Heck even our furnace was super loud when it kicked on.
