Was there 3 nights. Room never was cleaned, trash never emptied and bed never made. They took the dirty towels out but didn't replenish the first day… I had to go get them myself. Second day they replaced them… but did nothing else. Not even replace the empty toilet paper roll… floors were so dirty my feet/socks were black.

This place is disaster! It need good repairs and update. This sertain motel isnt safe place.

Misled by the 3/5 stars! Door lock was broken, splattered coffee (hopefully nothing worse) on the back of the door, the bathroom door wouldn't close, stained sheets, paint peeling in spots and not touched up in others. I didn't expect much from this place but this wasn't worth it. The positive experience I did have was with the front desk staff. They were all kind, courteous, and helpful answering some questions I had. They are the reason there is a star at all for this review.

Had better stay it's a hotel people outside barbecuing and all hanging out I think that's a bit much don't nobody want to see that I come there to relax.

Had a great stay here and have had for the past 2 years. The staff is friendly. My housekeeper, DJ, was very nice and helpful.

Online it said that it was a smoke free hotel but in the room I stayed at, there was a cigarette bud on the floor right by the bed. I asked the staff if I could change rooms but they claimed to be full. The smoke smell was extremely strong in the room and it wasn't a good stay overall. The internet also went out for hours.

Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and wasn't well maintained. The towles provided all had different kinds of hair in them, one even had a blood stain. Beds were okay and the TV was nice. I would shop around for other offerings in the area because this didn't feel like a good value.

Prices are good, close to lots of restaurants & freeway. Needs some updating & paint. Housekeeping is terrible — doorframe & wall next to bathroom are disgusting, I dont even want to guess about it!

Redroof in on Miller Road is a great place to visit. They have plenty of perks such as they provide many rooms, free Wi-Fi, there are fridges and flat-screen TV in every room. The staff here are Amazing, Helpful and Warm. They also have an ice machine, microwave and laundry right on site. RedRoof is in a great location as well, you are literally in walking distance of a plethora options. Places such as Speedway, Bob Evans, Sky Zone and in and on. If the local surrounding area doesn't have what you are looking for, RedRoof is located in a very convenient Bus route. All in all a great place to visit whether just one night or weekly, I Rate this exact establishment with a 5.

Clean room, both Tanya and Rachel are great at customer service. I'm on vacation for 6 weeks and have found the Red Roof Inns to be consistently good for an overnight stay. Please keep your pet friendly policy as ut is, it was definitely a reason I choose Red Roof Inn.

Is Red Roof Inn is okay. The mattresses are too stiff. But the employees are great.

Julie at the front desk is so friendly and accommodating. They always seem to have rooms and price is good.

Previous employee of this establishment and the things you have no clue of is gross. They tell us to overlook alot almost everything. Hide bloody stains and burn holes at the foot of the bed because the don't wanna order more sheets cutting cost. Dust 1 time a month and if we don't bring in our own supplies to clean the room then it don't get cleaned. Good staff (some) and most of the good reviews the boss and his family did themselves. This place went down hill since new GM was brought. Look behind things and under you will be surprised and lets not go to the bed bug issue…

Worst hotel experiance ever. Put there due to Allegiant airline flight cancelled. Filthy dirty, slept on top of bed, afraid to open sheets. Room and hallways dirty. A real dump.

Clean enough but cracked plaster. Some god awful cleanser smell way strong. Could not park at room. Had to park at office 2 buildings away. B. S. Will not go back.

It is an old Red Roof Inn and need alot of updates. Alot of men that are working in the area are staying there. Alot of families so it was noisy. Staff in the office very nice though. Doesn't look like the picture. Somewhat clean.

This is literally the worst hotel I ever been to. Please do not ever come here. There was a man chasing and beating up his girlfriend, the atmosphere was horrible and sketchy. I attempted to checkout once being there for literally 10 minutes, but they never gave me my money back! I called multiple times and the manager was extremely disrespectful please please please DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very friendly, also pet friendly! Clean and has refrigerator and AC. I really enjoyed my stay.

Room was clean and service was good. Could use a bedding update as mattress was firm and 2 of the 4 pillows we're bricks. Caulking on tub was discolored, cracking, falling out and just gone. Plumbing is slow and you have to hold the handle to get the toilet to work. Would stay again as felt safe and convient to everything.

I stay here every time I am in the area for business and have for several years. My room is always very nice and comfortable. The staff is is always awesome and makes sure that I have what I need. All said, it pleases me… Thank you.

I'm only giving it 4 stars because if your headed West or onto 75 South… it's harder. Other than that… was a perfect stay.

Best value on Miller Rd. $45 — $60 for deluxe rooms. Every other hotel/motel on this strip smells like weed, is completely run down or requires a hazmat suit to sleep in the beds. Sure RedRoof has its problems, but some new hires in housekeeping have really shaped the place up. Once the owners replace a few hair dryers and ironing boards, I'd give it 5 stars for the value, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and modern rooms that some places charge over $150 to enjoy just 2 miles South of here. AND… They're extremely PET friendly. I'm not an employee blowing smoke up your "you know what". I'm just a guy stuck staying in a hotel for weeks at a weekly rate that averages $39 a night with a fridge, microwave, flat screen new tv, King bed with clean sheets and towels, modern bathroom fixtures, hardwood floors, climate control that actually works, a nice L shaped desk, ergo chair, full length mirrors along with an ironing board and iron. What else could anyone need for under $60 or even under $50 for a double queen room? Honestly, if you book anywhere else in the City of Flint you're either nuts, dumb, a junkie/pothead, or like wasting your money.

Went to Hometown Inn down the street first, big mistake! Came here to Red Roof & got the last two rooms before a group came in. The top blanket looked nothing like the pics, it was outdated & had two large stains. I called & asked for a new one & got one after an hour & a half! I was halfway alseep when they finally brought it to me, I thought they had forgotten so I was sleeping in sweats with my hood up in a ball trying to "stay clean" (lmao). Also, I definitely feel we were purposely overcharged. $135 for a king bed room that was EXTREMELY outdated (comforter & sheets). I was told hotels will jack up the price if they have only one room left & there are multiple people wanting it. Their thought is, "got a group of people here, someone will pay the inflated price for our last room". This was during a busy 2 day festival in Clio MI, so most of the motels & hotels were booked or disgusting (like Hometown Inn).

Stayed at the inn in Flint, MI. Don't stay there. It's dirty, noisy and scary. Staff is nice but that's all.

Friendly staff, great location, and the price is right. Thanks for a restful night red roof! You guys rock!

Sorry to say that I have to rate this 1 star. Staff friendly but room was dirty. Floor was sticky like a spill had not been cleaned up and had not had a good cleaning in a long time. Door had a gap in weather seal that let bugs in. Don't recommend here.

Red Roof Inn Flint… Wow, is this a motel or a halfway house? 10:30 pm and the party is just getting started. Music pounding in the parking lot like a nightclub, cars flying through the parking lot like its MIS. A/C doesn't work, but it would be hard to tell because the front panel is hanging off and the plate with the settings is gone. Good thing it's fall (besides the a/c) because if it was winter, the snow would come thru the 1" gap in the door. The tap on the sink is about 5 turns from falling off (I think I'll fix it myself. It just needs tightening). Before I start to sound like a picky f'er. I'll end this by saying the tub taps also leak. That about a. 05 cent fix.

Location was terrific to get to the airport, next to a gas station and restaurants. Toilet ran. Ac unit made clunking noises all night. Bath tub seal was falling out and it had mold. Bed was soft.

While my stay was, for the most part, as pleasant and comfortable as I've come to expect from Red Roof Inn, Flint's location is facing an uphill climb. The floor was unswept, and the sink fixtures were unsecured to the basin. Having been told of a recent change in management, I hope that this location will quickly rise to the higher standard of comfort and convenience that I've experienced from other locations.

Update: we got bedbugs here. It cost $1400 to get rid of them. Terrifyingly gross. The toilet is LITERALLY taped together, the edge trim is taped to the tub. The TV remote doesn't work. The nonsmoking room smells like smoke. The desk clerk's dog tried humping another guest's leg in the lobby. Three times. Burn holes in all ALL of the bedclothes, stains on the sheets, towels, shower curtain. I choose red roof because they DON'T have carpet, these have have carpet and with gross things in it — see photo. We were tired, so we're stayed here, but this is a $45 room, not the $92 room we paid for. Wifi directions non existent and the Wi-Fi is intermittent, weak and drops constantly. Maybe to prevent reviews like this one.

This place is terrible! We made arrangements for a late check out I had theperson's name & confirmation number. Upon check in confirmed with front desk check out time & cost they confirmed my notes from reservation. At 11 they were knocking on my door that I needed to check out. I advised attendant I had a late check out. They left an hour later they were back at my door with security advising I needed to leave. What's the point of confirmation information and scheduling if the front desk doesn't communicate with each other and note they system.

I usually stay at more expensive hotels, but on this trip I just need a place to sleep. I booked my room in advance, which made check-in very easy. Check-out was even faster! The friendly staff made the lobby experience even better. The room was pretty much what I paid for, a place to sleep and shower. The bed we surprisingly comfortable and the air conditioner was quiet and effective. Although the room felt dated, it was a sound night of sleep!

Easy on easy off access from the freeway. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There were fridges in the rooms. Beds were good but you might want to bring another blanket with you as the bedding was thinner… nice, but thinner. Staff was awesome! Very helpful. Clean, economical, easy to find. Lots of restaurants she has stations nearby.

On my way home, I stopped in Flint and stayed at the Hampton. A great hotel at a reasonable price. The room was huge — it almost felt like it was missing furniture it was so huge! More importantly it was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The washroom was the same, with a good shower & amenities if needed. Internet was fast & reliable. Breakfast was typical continental with everything I needed there. Right off the interstate near the airport without any noise, it was a good place to stop & I place I would definitely return to if I stopped in Flint again!

Room were nicer than I expected. Bargain Price as well.

This is a very seedy place. It looks like a place a john would bring a cheap hooker prior to dumping her body somewhere. The uncleanliness of the room suggested that such a crime may have even occurred in that very room. Stay elsewhere. I'm pretty sure some of the dried stains on the wall and chair were various bodily fluids that became bodily solids.

Horrible inn. It's a privately owned redd roof not a corporate one which if I would have known I would not have got a room. The person in the lobby was very rude and the room floor was filthy. I called trying to get more towels so I wouldn't have to call for more later and they tried giving me a hard time about it. It was also very loud outside the room and people were being routy from about 1am-5am. This redd roof has ruined all the others for me I will probably never stay at one again.

Hotel was cleaner and nicer than expected. Room is near expressway so the traffic is heard all night. Also, hotel had very obnoxious guests that made noise at all hours.

Very nice place I was surprised at how nice the room looked, wood floor and marble sink counter.

I needed a place to go, It would be nice if you could stay longer when you check in late or get a discount.

Not the best. Floors were filthy, the bathroom looked a bit rough with tape holding the back of the commode together as well as tape along the bottom of the tub and scratch marks on the door. Smelled like cigarette smoke upon arrival which isn't acceptable considering I have two babies. House keeping never showed up, which wouldn't have been so bad had my trash not been overflowing. The person I called at the front desk about this didn't seem to care at all. I could go on… definitely would not recommend this place. Seriously couldn't wait to get out.

Great for the price. Best for those impulsive getaway from drama type deals. Wouldn't recommend lengthy stays unless you need weekly rates.

Had three different rooms all 3 where never cleaned at all.

Room was clean and evening staff were pleasant. I was skeptical after reading previous reviews. My night's stay was pleasant and had a quiet evening.

Arrived late night immediately fell. Asleep in morning noticed sheets were filthy shower dirty with hair no wash or dry towels absolutely horrible I should be given a refund red roof inn should fire entire cleaning crew no more red roof inn EVER!

Do not stay! Terrible service asked for early check in was here at one pm they said theyd call us when a room is ready. Two hours later we were tired of waiting so we showed up as they were checking someone in. We have two small dogs and as we got out the car a young pit ran up to our dogs barking. We had ours on leashes so we were able to prevent anything else. A housekeeper watching responded as we walked by " thats some judge judy shit " a party of fifteen young kids set up a table in the parking lot playing flip cup well past eleven pm. At one point they were racing coolers. Do not stay.

Room looked clean upon arrival, but under the bed there were masses of garbage, a single hoop earring cigarette celephanes, popcorn, mcdonalds french fries, poptart fragments, and used cups to name a few articles of trash, worst of all I found fragments of crack cocain on the counter which accommodated the television. And little foils which clearly were used to package it for individual sale. They advertise rooms for 39.99 and they said their lowest rate was just under 70 honestly the room was worth about 30 bucks if even dont stay here its just a laylow for drug dealers trying to sell somewhere other than their house.

My friend is staying at this hotel and has been for a week or so. She has a 22 month old daughter, she is very upset with the service and cleanliness. Her room is filthy. Especially under the bed. There are dead bugs and spiders. Her and her daughter both are covered in bed bug bites! The comforters on the beds in the room and covered with stains, and stink! She does not recommend this hotel to anyone! She said she is NOT ever going back.

Stay here frequently when traveling with my dogs. Though not as nice as some other RRIs, we have no problem staying here. Hoping the facility has been through a much needed upgrade. If so, I'll change my ratings.

I was completely annoyed at the hygiene standards of the room, extremely visible dust staunch and inexplicable amount of hair follicles to be found on the linen. The infrastructure is increasingly detrimental and looks pretty much ancient to the facilitate a capable recognized authority. They seem very laid back and promised an insecure environment such that you might notice an infantile majority that has themselves occupied in deteriorating your night's sleep with their rude humor for narcotic and alcohol fancy. Situated in Flint it clearly explains why it might still survive out their, for it provides the perfect conditioning for its recommended residential behavior. A bitter reward for an innocent travel who may want to find some sound sleep and necessary accommodation.
