The good: Friendly manager, Ron. Clean looking hotel. The bad: 2nd floor and room smelled like a wet dog. Was told at check in that a breakfast was included in the attached restaurant. In the morning the woman at the front desk tells me my room isn’t included in that free breakfast. I turn around and by the elevators there’s a sign that says “come standard”. She still refuses to give the breakfast free. I call back later and speak to the manager and tells me there is no free breakfast at all.

Spotlights aimed at some rooms, and the curtains don't close all the way, imagine that. Workout room is closed with a sign just saying closed today, no explanation. King suite is smaller than a double bed room. No extra seating or anything in the room. The bathtub has a seat for disabled but is hanging by screws coming out of the wall. No step in tub to shower, just slanted ground to try and keep the floor dry in the bathroom.

Comfortable and clean room.

My room was dirty again I told the manager and they cleaned it and left a note who cleaned it im still going to ask for a price adjustment when I check put I have the pictures and videos of both times being here.

Our jacuzzi suite was phenomenal! Service was amazing staff is awesome. Made sure my boyfriend and I had all we needed and then some! Will visit again!

Jacuzzi was nice room was clean just wish the cosly price of the room I feel like guest should eat breakfast for free.

The rooms were clean and accommodating. We booked the room last minute so I appreciate the fact that they had room. Unfortunately the day we checked in, it was because our AC went out & it was a heat wave. Their pool was down longer than usual that day but luckily there's a spot down the street at the Warren Rec center with water fountains that kids can run through. Our 10 month old appreciated that greatly. Parking is plentiful, although the actual hotel is kind of hard to find from Van Dyke if you're not paying REALLY close attention. For rewards members, checking in earned me some free points (I don't know how long they're doing that for). I ordered room service that night from their restaurant and the food was good. Their seasoned fries were amazing. My only "issue" was the next morning with their breakfast buffet. Their eggs we're watery and didn't taste authentic, they didn't have sausage at all, their bacon was rubbery, and they don't really explain that there's a server to help assist you with drinks such as orange juice. Id suggest requesting a menu upon your arrival in the restaurant and manually picking/ordering something to eat rather than using that buffet. Otherwise, everything was great! If cleanliness is what you most care for (as we all should), then this place is fine. Van Dyke is riddled with restaurants anyway.

The lobby and rooms were both very nice. I had a nice night here, and would stay here again. The area was good, too.

Comfortable room. I had a suite. Didn't like there wasn't a door between the room and living area because I had people in that area while I was sleeping and could hear them. The rest of the room was comfortable. The breakfast was good but lacked variety from day to day. I had bacon and ham each day I was there. The weight room was ok. The treadmill didn't work so it was limited.

I stay at the Holiday Inn in Warren, MI every other week. The rooms are clean and the staff members are always polite and helpful. They also offer free meals and drinks regularly. The bartender, Jina, is always up beat and friendly. She gets to know the regular customers and helps make them feel comfortable while they are away from home. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Room was awesome site very clean however none of the pop machines worked and for the price we pay for King Exc Suites our room should come with atleast 2 bottles of water and Real Glasses not Plastic Cups. I don’t drink out of plastic at home so why should I have them in a room I’m paying over $175 a night?
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the greatest impacts.
I however did find it weird the White gentleman wasn’t ask to sign a no party paper but I was when I checked in? I know I wear 46 well but what really was meant by that?

We checked in late, and if you have the pleasure of checking in with John b. Your in for a treat he is the kindest most loving employee you could hope to meet. John b is the soul reason I will return!

I usually dislike hotels stays especially for work/training. This hotel elevated my level of expectations. I actually enjoyed my down time. Everyone was amazing and the food was hands down great, which is important for a single women traveling alone who doesn't want to venture out.

The staff was so friendly to my three year old daughter and I. The room was clean, well decorated and the bed was comfortable. Great hotel and great deal for the five star treatment you will receive.

Dated rooms, but good staff. Did not have included breakfast. No room service from what I could tell.

We had a room with a king size bed and a pullout couch. The room with the king size bed half of it didn't have power but all other experiences were great.

Annoying staff who did not complete my request to have a room with working heat. I am freezing in a room where the space heater is on 86°

We only stayed a night but it was great. Room was clean, beds super comfy. My kids enjoyed the pool. I liked that the main hotel doors are locked at night and only opened for guests by the front desk attendant. Felt very safe.

Recently renovated. I was upgraded to a suite just as a nice gesture; which was a pleasant surprise. Probably the nicest hotel in the area to stay in.

I love this place. I stay here all the time when I'm on travel. Free dinner Monday through Wednesday and cook to order breakfast. Can't go wrong here.

Complimentary dinner meals are decent. Just remember only available for guest Monday — Wednesday from 6-8. Breakfast choices are better than generic continental options. It actually has a restaurant with a pool table. Rooms were clean.

We had a great stay. No real noise complaints, even though it was during NYE. The jacuzzi room was spacious and very well kept. The staff was more than willing to assist as needed. Would totally recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Extremely kind and helpful staff. Clean rooms. The hotel tends to get busy on the weekends, but the kind lady at the desk said that if noise was any issue she was more than happy to give me another room (it wasn't an issue at all). Overall really nice and pleasant stay. If I'm in Detroit again I'll definitely be going here.

Not the nicest location, but the rooms were clean and reasonably priced.

The morning breakfast is made to order instead of many places have full buffet type. So, the option are ham Burger or option of chicken. But no cereals or oats option.

I had a great experience here. I recently rented out a space and had my wedding rehearsal dinner. We were able to bring in our own catered food with no hassle and play music. The room was setup and the staff was very helpful. For the wedding guest we were able to reserve a block of rooms. My husband and I and our wedding party got dressed in suites. The suites were nice and spacious (9 women got ready and 2 makeup artists) and we all fit comfortably. I arranged everything with Wynter White. She was wonderful, professional, and very kind. She providing a bottle of wine in the suite for me. Thank you for everything! Would highly recommend!

Location was convenient, room was really nice and the staff was very friendly.

Rooms were very nice. Service was pleasent. Hotel was not the cleanest ot the most updated but it was very servicable.

Nice place to spend the night. Nice safe neighborhood with fast food close. Walmart just down the street if you forgot something. Very modern decor. We didn't have time to check everything out. Our room was nice and clean. Staff was nice. Easy to check in with my Priceline reservation. I would stop here again.

A little tricky to find if you don't know your way around. Rooms are updated with some nice modern touches. The staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Their sign on the roadside was difficult to see bring a car dealership's sign. We stayed in a suite, it was quite large and divided into two rooms. They had a bunch of sports teams staying for a tournament, but they still handled all of our needs efficiently.

All the staff was great. Front desk was helpful check in and check out. Maintenance even went out of their way to find a fan I could use to sleep as I forgot mine. I had a great experince.

So after checking in I asked the front desk lady if there were any good restaurants​ nearby. I was told that they were offering free dinner! If that wasn't great enough, they had free beer until 8 o'clock! Free beer!

Stayed for 3 days on business. The bath had numerous long dark hairs upon arrival. They cleaned it in time to find it wouldn't close the drain for a bath. Asked for it to be repaired and it wasn't! The maintenance man said he would repair the following morning, he didn't and they supposedly had no other room available. I would not recommend this establishment! This is the only bad review I have ever written but I think it is deserved!

We are a travel ball team and stay In many hotels. This is by far the nicest friendliest hotel we have ever been in. They went out of there way all four days to make our experience great! Rooms super clean and restaurants food awesome! Very kid friendly. Thank you Angie for all your help!

I never write reviews but I felt compelled after my horrible experience! I got a room with a jacuzzi and the jacuzzi didn't work! So I called the front desk and they sent someone up to confirm what I had already explained it was broken so they sent us to another room in the middle of the night which was a downgrade from the room I was previously in. When I asked for my money back the front desk clerk (Hind) acted as though she had an attitude! Needless to say I won't be at staying there anymore in the future!

Pretty nice hotel but the Wi-Fi speed is incredibly slow. Could barely check my email and it would disconnect me every 30 minutes.

We had to stay here because our power went out, in the middle of winter. I have 3 kids and am 9 months pregnant. Our house was 56 degrees. The room was nice. However, the kitchenette was bare. We got the family suite. Had to call down to the front desk to get plates. (Paper and plasticware). The pull out couch did not have a blanket, or pillows. Had to call down for that. I had a crib ordered, they brought it, and didn't put it together for me. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The card key holder states "complimentary dinner" M thru W. (except for the day we were there? ) we stayed on Monday, January 4, 2016. Check in at 6pm. I'm not sure why there wasn't dinner, and we weren't given a reason. The beds were really comfortable. The bathtub was mediocre. Giving kids a bath was difficult, because the drain kept unplugging. We did use the pool, but it was rather cool. Overall, it was just OK. It was warm, and had power. So I guess it served it's purpose.

Good room, bad presentation & entrance to hotel.

Located just outside Sterling Heights, the Hotel has completely been renovated on the inside. The updates are welcoming and well done. Good place to stay overall.

Great service by the front desk. The receptionist was very cheerful and made the visit special.

The rooms we're nice and it was very well kept.

The hotel is located in the city square. The inside has been restyled and looks very nice. The staff members are very kind and actually helpful. Lastly, the rooms and suites are we'll kept and comfortable like they're supposed to be.

This hotel has good facilities. It is really quiet. Good breakfast. Good location and easy to access.

Rented a Jacuzzi room for a night just to get away. Me and my girlfriend loved it. A really nice place to stay the night.

The rooms were nice as was the pool and hot tub. The employees were very friendly and all around I dont have much negative to say. The room did smell strongly of chlorine though, that was pretty crappy but we were right over the pool so its to be expected.

Nice rooms. Just remodeled but the shower is never hot. Its cold water. I think its a tactic to get you out fast and keep the water bill low.

Stayed here to visit with my family. Enjoyed every bit of my stay. Rooms were impecable, food was great. Added amenities were terrific. I was able to work out at Bally's fitness for free because the hotel gives all of their guest passes. I would recommend this hotel for buisness or Please. Very Sweet Staff. Especially the General Manager. She was the Best.
