Other than experiencing a power outage for 3 hrs and the front desk at checkout trying to rush us out it was great! Rooms were clean and comfy beds.

Absolutely awful shuttle service and very rude front desk. We waited over an hour for our shuttle.

Nice lay over for arriving or departing DTW. Room and bed were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny in the room with 2 queen beds. Clean, friendly staff.

Super friendly, always stay here multiple times a year, like the bar and grill. Very affordable rooms.

The room was clean and comfortable, the food in the bar was awesome and so was the service! 🥰

What a dump.
1) TV did not work! (Maintenance robbed one from another room)
2) The bath light making horrible sound when lit. (Maintenance removed the lens.
3) Watching TV and hear a thud… panel door to shower plumbing just fell on floor… no screws to hold in place.
4) I froze taking a shower! The water never came close to 98.6 degrees!

Fine place for airport location. Room was clean, windows a little gross, and room could be better but not bad for the price. Restaurant was great. Breakfast was good too. Staff were lovely.

Easy check in and close to the airport that's about it. When we made the reservation they charged our card three times, and we had to call multiple times to have them refund the extra charges They offer room service but we called and sat on hold for 15 minutes before opting for the vending machine. Our room unexpectedly had a two person tub with jets and we were excited to use it… With the water on full blast for an hour and a half the water level still only about 3 inches and wasn't up to the jets. Such a large tub needs to have more water flow to fill it. It's easy to install fancy tubs when you know no one can use them so they don't need to be cleaned or maintained. Ended up just taking showers.

Nice and clean. There's no swimming pool, but the free breakfast is actually pretty good and the rooms are really nice. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, nice people and the restaurant wasn't bad. Breakfast had legit eggs but not a lot of selection. For the price you pay it was well worth it.

This a great stop for the airport. They have an earlier breakfast than other hotels. Rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. Josh is great. I stay there so often before I fly that he knew me by name after only meeting me once.

Very close to DTW Airport with on time shuttle service which was very important for me. Needed a bus for 530am and it was exactly on time. Room was clean and quiet. Also breakfast starts at 4am (to 9am) which is perfect since I had to leave so early! Would definitely recommend!

Was exactly as you'd expect from a comfort inn. However the staff was really nice and the jetted tub was awesome!

Miss Yuting and Miss Alex made me feel right and home and took great care of me! Above and beyond with customer service! I'm grateful. If you're in the area; BOOK IT. Decent breakfast to get you started in the morning as well.

The Park Sleep Fly bundle for $99 is awesome. Covers the room (King size with a large jacuzzi), breakfast (eggs and sausage), parking for a week and a shuttle service to and from your terminal. Staff was excellent! Room was perfectly clean and welcoming. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Friendly front desk, close proximity to the airport, and a nice surprise of a huge jacuzzi tub in our room. Newly renovated. Park and fly with breakfast included for a very reasonable price.

My stay here was absoultly great. Staff was very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was great with so many options. And my room was immaculately clean.

Every trip we take and fly out of Detroit we stay here. Full service bar and food is good and priced fairly. The rooms are nice and comfortable, ours had a Jacuzzi tub and comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning is better than I expected there was scrambled eggs, sausage links, and do it yourself waffles for hot food and everything from bagels to pastry's to yogurt, with a juice machine and fresh coffee. Another perk we parked our vehicle for 5 days in the lot since they offer free parking with the stay for the trip and a shuttle back and forth to the airport.

This is my favorite airport hotel ever. The customer service is stellar and it is very nice for a Comfort Inn. The food is slow in the restaurant, but the drinks are awesome. Despite the slow food, this place earns 5 stars in my book. I have stayed here twice and each time was as good as the last. Whenever I come through DTW I will stay at this place. Highly recommend.

The property was very well maintained. It had a bar for late night food and drinks. The breakfast was well laid out and it did not feel crowded getting your food. I stayed in a jacuzzi suite. It was clean and relaxing after a long day of work.

The location was close enough to have a shuttle bus to the detroit metro airport. The rooms were big, very clean, and had all amneties available. Service was helpful and there's free breakfast starting at 4am which is very good for people with early flights.

The rooms were affordable and clean. Guest service was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Shuttle to and from airport is free and timely.

Convenient location but make sure you call ahead for the shuttle (and ask them which one to expect). Rooms are a bit dated and breakfast was pretty average.

The beds are comfortable. My room had a microwave and mini fridge. The showers had good water pressure. The the iron was fancy, which is a big plus for business travelers, such as myself. There is a nice bar/restaurant on site that is open until 1am (Except Sundays) and they serve a complimentary breakfast from 4a-9a — great for those early departures. It is right next to DTW airport, so you will hear planes flying over. I will stay here again.

It was an overall good experience, but have had a better time here before as I have stayed here every year the past 3 years, once a year when traveling for a Michigan football game. Arrived half an hour early and had to either pay $20 for early check in fee or join choice rewards at what was said to be free, but later charged $3 to join. But having to be even given those options are a little crazy when we arrived early because we had reservations to a fancy restaurant in a couple hours and there were four of us having to get dressed up and ready. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, but my experience the times before were better than this.

Very warm staff. Both at the reception and at the bar and grill. The breakfast was good. I would definitely visit again if I need to stay near the airport DTW.

This Hotel keeps getting better. It is under new management and folks are working hard to improve. Always have a good sleep here. Restaurant good and breakfast is available at 0400. They could diitch the piano music in public areas, really annoying. How about some Motown? ;)

$250 credit card deposit is kinda steep, but excellent beds and great linens. Very helpful staff. Very small bathrooms. Basic continental breakfast with fresh made waffles, but no bacon, sausage, or eggs. The breakfast attendant was outstanding!

Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean and bed was fairly comfy. Wifi worked great. The best part was the in hotel cafe. Food there was surprisingly good. Would definitely stay and eat there again.

Just an average hotel. Not a lot to say about it, really. It's a decent place to stay if you can get a good price on it. My room was clean, but nothing fancy. There's a hot breakfast that starts at 4am, which is really nice if you have an early flight to catch. The shuttle to the airport was extremely full, so I'd suggest planning to leave early just in case you can't get on the first shuttle. My experience may have been an isolated thing, though.

My husband and I always stay at a park and stay hotel when we've got a super early flight the next day, what's the point of paying $120 to stay one night and the. Turn around and have to pay $9/day to park! If we had not been so tired we would of found a different hotel when we got here. Also, wasn't a fan that they didn't have a hot tub or pool to relax in. Now, positive things… it was very clean and they did start serving breakfast at 430 when most hotels don't start serving until 6 or 7. All in all we probably stay here again.

Good Hotel, price reasonable, clean and comfortable.

Looked everywhere to find a room after a day off cancellations at DTW. They had a room available at midnight, which was great, and their bar still had food that late too. Bed was comfy, shuttle service was pretty good. The air conditioner didn't keep the room that cold though, even on full cold it would kick on and get down to "comfortable", then kick off and wait till it was warm before starting again. There was no continuous fan setting. The staff was nice though. Would stay again.

This was a great deal and employees were so helpful. Early flight, needed parking for a couple of days and shuttle to and from airport. The shuttle driver dropped me off right at my car. Will definitely do this again.

Room comfortable, good location, bad breakfast.

The floors were wet at first and the ac didnt work so they accomodated us and moved us to another room. The kindest workers and employees.

Our stay at Comfort Inn was amazing! The front desk was extremely helpful, the room was wonderful and very comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious!

The restaurant, Marco'z, opens when they feel like it not 3pm as it is printed on the menu AND the hotel guide in the rooms. The maids like to let the door slam against the safety latch while they clean, so good luck getting some work done in peace and a nap just isn't going to happen. It is clean and the staff are mostly friendly. There's one or two that really need to rethink a career in hospitality. I gave it three stars (2.5 if I could) because clean sheets and sleep are THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to me in a hotel and they are only halfway there.

I was there on a business trip 2 days ago and really enjoyed my stay; the food was excellent, the room so nice and clean I even had a mini golf in there. i want to thank Ashley for her kindness and very professional assistance. looking forward to stay there on my next business trip to Detroit.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. They double charged us for the hotel putting us in the negative in our account and the issue still has not been resolved. They need employment that know what they are doing. Very disappointing.

Ended up staying here a night after a delayed flight resulted in a missed connection. After lots of frustration with the airline (including zero help with finding lodging), this place almost made my unexpected stay worthwhile. I got checked in just before the bar/grille was going to close but they took my order (to go) without complaint and were very friendly. Food was tasty too and prices reasonable. Complimentary breakfast was very simple but good — and I love that it starts at 4am for those of us with early flights. Desk staff was friendly and helpful as well. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to/from the airport which operates 24 hours. Just call and give them your arrival info and they come pick you up. The room itself was fairly nice and quite clean and well furnished. The bed and pillows were pretty comfy too — I've had bad beds and pillows in many "nicer" hotels. Ended up with a room with a Jacuzzi tub for around $100 which was an unexpected bonus. Will book here again if I ever end up stranded in Detroit again.

The road to the somewhat secluded Comfort Inn is treacherous and littered with enormous potholes, but that just makes the actual hotel more of an oasis. It is a clean, sleek, modern hotel with all the necessary amenities. The furnishings are up to date and adequate, the in-room TV is current and large with exceptional resolution. The restaurant/bar/free breakfast area is relatively small, but is very nice and chic, with a full bar that includes several top shelf brands of all types of alcohol, and even has a few microbrews on tap. It has the feel of an urban upscale bar, with reasonable prices. Overall, a great experience, that could be made even better with some infrastructure improvements (but that's likely on the struggling city/county/state).

Room was very spacious and clean, staff were helpful and polite. Downstairs bar is a little pricy, but not unreasonably so. Breakfast buffet starts at 4am, which is quite nice for those catching early flights, and has a decent food selection (more than just continental breakfast). The one downside is rather thin walls between rooms, we had to listen to our neighbour's TV pretty much the whole night.

Super clean, great prices, desk agent was fantastic. However, the soundproofing was teribble. I could hear the guests on both sides talking and they werent even being loud. Also the airplane noise was quite loud. Westin Detroit Metro is because of the soundproofing. Comfort Inn Metro is.

I'm curious how any of you will feel about this. I say Shame on Comfort Inn. On Wednesday 2/24/16 when all flights were cancelled out of DTW late at night many people were stranded, me included. When I called them for a room I was told they had some, for $459 per night! The reservation guy actually called this local Comfort Inn to verify and was told "Yes, Supply and Demand". On top of that, I94 East was closed to traffic due to a fatal accident so people couldn't get to the airport to pick up loved ones. I say its shameful. ‪#‎comfortinn‬ ‪#‎shameonyoucomfortinn‬ I won't be staying with you again. Comfort Inn Metro Airport.

I couldn't be happier with our stay here. Paul Gjerpen was extremely helpful. We were relocating from the 29 Palm Marine Base to the Marine Base here in Michigan. We had a long 3 days on the road, and we were going to get into Detroit 2 hours before check in. Paul not only made sure we'd have a room available, he waived the early check in fee, as we were military, and on the road for 32 hours. We tried to stay at the lowest cost hotel and we were blown away that this hotel was well under $100/night because everything looks brand new. The lobby alone looked better than any of the Holiday Inns, Sheratons, etc… that we stayed at durine our travels. Paul really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. He even offered us waters right away. I highly recommend, and when I come back to visit, I know where I'll be staying when I fly in (also, right next to the airport! ).

We stayed one night with our kids before catching a flight early the next morning. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows (which my family loves! ). The room & bathroom were both very clean. I rarely use a bathtub at a hotel, but I felt totally comfortable bathing my toddler in their tub. They also has also nice breakfast that opened at 4 am! It wasn't anything special, but definitely more than a muffin & juice. They also had a room service menu that looked good & reasonably priced, but we didn't have a need for it this stay. We were very pleased with our stay.
